Welcome To Shutterbug Scoops

Here in the Timari Server, we have all sorts of fun up our sleeves- including monthly events!

This month’s event is Shutterbug Scoops! The Timari servers official ice cream shop! Inspired by the wonderful @tinybrie, here you can mix and match your favorite flavours, toppings, and sauces to create an ice cream fit for you while having a little friendly competition to win MVP.

We are working currently in partnership with @maribat-menagerie which is hosting its very first event which you can find here. You may submit for both events as Shutterbug Scoops is open to any and all ships, even if it does not correlate with Timari nor the rare pairs.

Daminette December Day 28- Family

Unlike usual, the atmosphere in the bakery was tense. Two sides had formed, on one end was Tom Dupain, on the other end was Damian Wayne. “Absolutely not. Marinette, you can’t date this boy, he’s not good enough for you.” He stood his ground on this issue as he looked at Damian again. It wasn’t the way Damian looked, it was the presence he gave off, of someone dangerous and violent. “You agree with me right, Sabine?”

“Oh I don’t know honey. Shouldn’t we let Marinette make her own choice on this?” She placed a comforting hand on his arm and then leaned up to whisper, “It’s not like anything’s set in stone. They’ll probably break up on their own.”

“Maman! I can hear you.” Marinette’s eyes blazed with indignation before shifting when she turned to address Damian. “I’m sorry about them. They’re just a bit over protective sometimes and I’m sure when they get to know you a bit better, they’ll see your good side.” She could barely look him in the eyes as she shuffled her feet.

Tom let out a big sigh, from the beginning he knew that nothing he said would have made a difference. “You're right, Marinette. But I’ve got my eyes on your Mister.” He glared at Damian.

“I would expect nothing less, sir. One should never be too careful when meeting someone for the first time.” Those were the first words Damian had said since the simple hello when greeting them earlier.

“Ok,” Marinette clapped her hands. “If we’re going to get to know each other better, I think the best way to do so would be games. Let’s go upstairs, a match of Ultimate Mecha Strike III is in order.”

“Honey, are you sure that’s a good idea?” Sabine questioned. “We should pick something that’s a bit more fair for Damian. You know how your father gets about Mecha Strike.” Tom wasn’t listening, already heading upstairs, giddy with excitement to play his favorite game.

“Don’t worry Maman. Damian can handle it. If anything they should be more afraid of me.” Sabine smiled at her daughter. It had been a long time since Marinette had been so carefree, maybe Damian was good for her after all.

I have ideas. That I stole from another (with permission; I'm not a monster) and I need to write it.

But somehow I'm always shocked that it is in September and also so busy.

Maribat Mix & Match Monster Mash 2024

We're back! September hasn't quite begun yet, but we're so excited for this year's spooky season that we decided to give you a little extra time to prepare your frightful fics and dreadful drawings, especially as this year we're mixing things up more than usual.

You may have noticed that this year, the prompts we've given you to start are a bit longer than they have been before. That's because we thought incantations would be more inspiring.

"I am not supposed to be the Final Girl!" "I'll kill you either way." "I'm hunting cryptids." "Has anyone ever told you how creepy you are?" "Not a fan of surprises?" "Oh, bite me." "Turn the lights off."

But as some of you may know, those aren't all we're giving you! From October 25th-31st, each night at the perfect time for necromancy (also known as Midnight EST) a tombstone will reveal a new ingredient for you to mix into your creations. If all goes to plan, your muse will be resurrected in plenty of time for Halloween. Ahahahahaha!

All you have to do is Mix and Match our incantation prompts with the tombstone ingredients to give life to your abominations, then post them so that we can all enjoy the scares! Feel free to use other calendars and prompts while you're at it, as we all know that October has several fangtastic challenges that you don't need us to tell you about.

While we wait for Halloween though, we'll be counting down with gruesome graphics for our incantations, posted each Friday until our event begins. The order of our countdown will be decided by our very own server members, so if you haven't joined the dark side already, send us a message and get an invite. We promise we'll only bite if you ask us too.

When your spooktacular submissions are finished, you can post them on tumblr with the tag #mm&mmm2024 and we’ll reblog them here, or you can submit them to our Ao3 collection, Maribat Mix & Match Monster Mash (Maribat_Mix_Match). Just make sure that you’ve tagged and rated your work accurately, and that any sensitive content is under a cut. Halloween may be the season for scares, but we want to keep our frightful fun safe for everyone!

Adribat October '24

Welcome Bugbats to the first October dedicated to Adribat!

Adribat is the part of the larger Maribat fandom that is dedicated to Adrien and allowing him to have a spotlight versus waiting in the wings.

Every weekday has been given a theme as well so if you would like an added challenge or guide those are there for you.

As most members of the fandom know, Maribat has been given March as a month for celebration. What better way to celebrate her partner then to give him the 3rd to last month as his own? You could say it mirrors them purrfectly.

Based on feedback from members of our server, the prompts from above have also been shuffled around in a new form. Bingo Boards!

There is both a 5x5 and 3x3 so creators can choose which they would like to do. As a special, the 3x3 has 3 extra prompts not seen on the calendar.

Lastly, here are some little things to potentially add if you use any of these Adribat Inspirations.

Welcome to the Timari Servers first Live Event

Shutterbug Station

There are two teams, Angst v. Fluff, and only you all can decide who shall be the true victor.

On each day a prompt will be revealed that corresponds with either Angst or Fluff depending on the day. Your goal is to create something that fulfills the prompt!

Trauma Train Tuesdays are dedicated to Angst prompts while Fluff Freight Fridays are for Fluff with some bonus prompts sprinkled in!

We’re aware full calendars can be daunting and too much for people so this gives people a chance at a break while also keeping them on their feet when the day arrives for their prompt to be revealed and gives them time to complete their prompts.

Choose which team you wish to support (you are allowed to join both), make content for them, and post! If you post it on the day their prompt is revealed, you’ll get an additional 5 points.

Guidelines:

• You do not have to sign up to join

• To be counted, all works must be submitted with links in the provided form X

• You do not need to be in the server to participate! Just tag correctly, add fics to the ao3 collection, and be sure to submit the link in the form for it to be counted

• While we are a Timari Server and would love more Timari content, we are aware of the constraints of that and absolutely support other pairing submissions

• Any creative works are accepted

• Label your works correctly

• Follow the prompts, but each person is given 10 free cards (10 things can be submitted that do not use the prompts)

• You can join at any time!

Daminette December Day 25- Joke

An explosion shook the building, dust flew everywhere, and the noise deafened the ears of everyone unfortunate enough to be in the area. As the haze of debris settled down a figure could be seen, followed by several other people, coming through the new hole in the wall.

"Well, well. Looks like we have a party going on here. Hope you don't mind my explosive entrance." The following cackle caused shivers to run down most people’s spine. "I know it's rude, but they always say to show up late to make a dramatic entrance and well… I do think my presence deserves some drama." 

Marinette rolled her eyes. It wasn’t even a good joke, they were at a restaurant not a party. She looked away from Joker and across the table to where Damian was sitting, or rather where he had been sitting, as he was no longer there. Glancing around she failed to find him

“Alright everybody! Down on the ground, jewelry and wallets out and into the bag. And you,” Joker pointed a gun at one of the waiters. “Get all the cash in this place and bring it back.” He tossed another burlap sack at the man, who went running off somewhere.

Getting on the ground, Marinette reached up to her earrings and slipped them into her pocket when no one was watching. They didn’t look valuable when they were disguised but it was better to not take any chances. She marked the exits from her position and the location of each henchman and the Joker. The best plan was to wait until Batman and his associates showed up, but even the best plans usually failed.

At the table next to where she was sitting, a child began to cry and one of the henchmen came over to quiet the kid. “Shut up before I make you shut up!” The parents tried to hush the child and while the child quieted down, it wasn’t enough for the villian. He raised the butt of his rifle to the kids face and Marinette couldn’t sit still any longer.

Quicker than is possible for most humans, she launched from her position on the ground straight at the enemy, tackling him to the ground. The rifle knocked out of his hand, screams sounded out around them and the footsteps of his accomplices were just barely perceptible. Finishing the fight swiftly, Marinette punched the man once in the face, strongly enough that the man was knocked unconscious. Getting up, she faced the four other goons of Jokers. It was too late to back down now, but she also couldn’t fight well in the dress she was wearing. 

“That wasn’t a funny punchline, miss.” The cold tone of the Joker’s was far more intimidating than his previous jolly and psychotic attitude. “How about I teach you what a real joke is like?” With his hands he motioned the henchmen to fight her and Marinette tensed, waiting for the first shot. 

The first shot wasn't from the villains though. A whoosh sounded through the air, followed by a thunk as a batarang embedded itself into the wrist of one of the assailants. Not wasting a moment, Marinette grabbed a plate from the closest table and flung it like a frisbee at another opponent– three down, two more plus the Joker to go. One goon turned towards Marinette, while the other turned to where Robin appeared from the kitchen. 

They didn’t leave many openings as they pointed their guns at them. It was only when her opponent came closer in order to grab her that Marinette got the chance to act. Seizing the barrel of the rifle, she aimed it upwards, then sliding her left foot forward, she got low and slammed her shoulder into the man’s solar plexus, knocking the air out of him. Then turning them around, she twirled the gun out of the henchman’s hands and into her own, pointing the gun at Joker. Meanwhile from his own position, Robin was also simultaneously disarming and taking out his opponent.

  “Oh great! You want to do anything right, you've got to do it yourself.” With those words, Joker pulled out a device that looked like a tear gas canister. Pulling the trigger, a plume of noxious green gas came out. The people closest began laughing, their faces contorted into forced smiles. “See, now we can all have fun together.” The Joker laughed again before he raced towards the entrance he made when he first arrived at the restaurant. “See you around Robin, Miss Robin. Tell Batsy hi for me.” 

Both she and Robin wanted to run after him but the restaurant guests came first. Robin had a gas mask he could use, and a spare one just in case, which he gave to the closet victim. Marinette meanwhile, set the gun down and made do with a cloth napkin she swiped from one of the tables– not highly effective, but better than nothing. Then she and Robin began shepherding people out of the enclosed space. Just as people were leaving, the police showed up with the paramedics in tow. 

“Thank you for your help, ma’am.” Robin came up behind Marinette, scaring her so badly she almost punched him in the face. “But you should worry about your own safety first.” 

She nodded, knowing full well, she would ignore his advice. “Robin, I’d like to ask you a favor. Can you look for my boyfriend? Damian? He was with me but disappeared when all of this first started.” 

The hero stilled before answering her question. “I’ll send him your way if I find him. Now I should get back to helping the first responders. Please see a paramedic in the meantime.” Something about his tone and mannerisms caught Marinette’s attention.

As she walked over to the ambulances, she looked back and then shook her head. There was no way that Damian and Robin were the same person. I mean, what were the chances. Out of three of her ex-partners, three of them were also superheroes, it seemed improbable that Damian was one too.

I would love to start a two month event of sharing , creating and just exploring idea's !

This whole event is to enjoy being creative and write, draw or just make something !

DC MIRACULES IS AN EVENT TO PROMOTE YOUR IDEA'S , WRITE AND MEET NEW PEOPLE !

I encourage you to explore all of miraculous and dc and make creations with who ever you want ! Again ! This is an event to promote Artists, writers and people !

At the end of the event we will be having a vote of which media, artist, fic or art has motivated you the most !

The winner of these votes / categories will receive one free art piece of their choice !

If you would like to participate please list your work under Dc miracles event !
