Marcy exists in the Adventure Time AU, and is also the Thief Princess. They're supposed to rule together because have you ever tried ruling a kingdom populated almost entirely by thieves on your own!? But Bob is Bob so he's avoiding his responsibilities, so their dynamic is similar to the main AU pre-Bob's Last Stand/Breaking the Cage except Marcy's kind of in the right this time.

Mama Marcy AU
An AU where Marceline was the one who found Baby Finn decided to adopt and raise him as her son like how Simon raised her.
She would sing Everything Stays to him, go on adventures with him, even let him borrow her bass and give him lessons.
It would be hard and stressful for her to raise him, but it would be worth it with help from thinking about what Simon would do and baby books she got from the library.
She would grow to love him as a loving mother, often calling him "Sweetie" or "Beautiful Baby Boy" as Finn would always call her "Mom" (which she loves to hear).
Finn would sometimes ask to be a vampire like his mom, but she would always refuse since she herself never wanted to be a vampire in the first place and she didn't want him to lose his humanity.
Jake would, of course, be Finn's bestie instead of his brother in this AU. Jake would still be a thief until Finn catches him and tell him how wrong stealing is before PB locks him up.
Because of Finn, Jake would reform himself into a better person and would often do community service for the Candy Kingdom. Even when his old team would try to break him out, he would refuse and threaten to call the guards. And sometimes, he did.
Also, Finn wouldn't have that crush on PB like in canon. Instead, he would kind of see her as his aunt or something due to knowing about her being his mom's ex.
Ice King would still be napping princesses, but Finn would always get them out and hang out to bond with "Grampa Simon" afterwards.
(Now, I thought about just giving Finn red clothes, but then I thought it'd just be a basic, lazy recolour. So, I gave him a hoodie, pants and boots.)
(For Marcy, I gave her short Marshall Lee hair to make her look motherly and responsible. Also, I mostly thought about how frustrating long hair can be when raising a kid.)

Princess!Sasha and Knight!Marcy AU time
First things first. Why princess Sasha and not Marcy. To that I say that Marcy protecting Sasha instead of the other way around makes brain go brrrr. (Also the knight/night!Marcy play on words kills me every time I see it)
Anyway, AU where Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were transported as children and grew up in Amphibia. Andrias takes in Sasha and Marcy and declares Sasha as princess and Marcy as her guard. The gem powers are also well known and Andrias was the previous heart.
He claims he’s looking for the last of the trio for the sake of Amphibia but really he just wants to do what he does in canon, the whole invading other universes thing and all that. It’s much easier to fight your enemies when they don’t even know they’re supposed to fight you. Andrias thinks he won’t have to worry about the prophecy if he just keeps them all under his control.
Meanwhile Sasha, who is still strength, is much more interested in the kingdom that she was brought up to rule rather than, well, actually ruling it. So she runs away one night and Marcy goes with her as her bodyguard. They eventually end up in Wartwood (Joe Sparrow helped) which is a much bigger city than in canon. It’s sorta just the best place to live if you’re on the lower end of the socioeconomic ladder.
Once they finally get there, Anne steals something off Sasha to pawn it for money and the story goes from there.
The lost princess is a pretty big deal considering that she has the strength gem’s powers and the same goes for her guard who’s also missing with the wit gem. Anne secretly has the heart powers but nobody knows that, not even herself.

💖 Bubbline's Love Story🖤 Part 1
A long time ago, in the land of Ooo. Bubblegum, went to a punk rock concert, at the concert the lead singer, Marceline, threw her shirt at the crowd. Which Bubblegum catches.

Bubblegum looks at the shirt, then she looks at Marceline. Who winks at her, Bubblegum blushed and that was the start of their relationship.

Bubblegum was in the process of building her kingdom, covering the mutated waste with candy, and having robots do the construction. While the Candy Kingdom was still in construction. Bubblegum and Marceline would hang out as friends (despite their differences).
On a rainy-day Bubblegum was mining, a present for Marceline. She finds a red gem. (Which matches her amulet, except it's blue).

After she gets the gem. She calls Marceline to pick her up. Giving her the nickname "Hemogobbler". (Marceline was living in the tree house, and still had Hambo. Before her self-centered boyfriend Ash sold it for a wand).

After Marceline picks her up. Bubblegum gives Marceline, the red gem (amulet) and shows her that it can blast lasers, while her amulet brings robots to life.

Marceline thanks Bubblegum for the amulet. She asks if Bubblegum wants to spend the night at the construction site. Bubblegum explains that her, soon-to-be Kingdom, will be an eternal empire. And she has robots, to do the work, (no candy people yet).

Eventually, Bubblegum begins creating, candy citizens and banana guards. She has the title of, Princess Bubblegum of the Candy Kingdom, now that she's a princess she has a lot of responsibilities now. She neglected her friendship with Marceline, which caused them to drift away from each other.

Marceline does understand that things change, even though Bubblegum is royalty now. She still wants to be friends with her.

Marceline helped Princess Bubblegum, build the Candy Kingdom, and fight off mutants and annoying criminals.
Eventually, complicated stuff happened in their personal lives. For, Marcy she keeps moving, because she doesn't want to deal with the now insane Simon/Ice King. Even though he's still Simon, he isn't the same Simon, that raised and helped her after the war. The only thing she had that reminds her of the old Simon, is her teddy bear Hambo. (Simon gave Hambo to Marceline when they first met).
Unfortunately, when Marceline's boyfriend Ash learns about Hambo. He sold the toy bear, for a wand. He doesn't even feel bad or guilty, for hurting Marceline and stealing her stuff for his own selfish wants.
"Oh, I sold that teddy bear that you love so much. To a Witch" Ash said, thinking it was worth it.
"You what? Are you crazy? That was my favorite thing in the whole world!" Marceline, yelled at Ash for taking what's left of what reminds her of the old Simon.
Only for Ash to still think trading Hambo for his new wand was worth it. "That's why it's so valuable, genius--for potions."

Sad and angry, Marceline ends her relationship with Ash, calling him a psycho jerk.
"That's the last straw, Ash! That's it! You're a psycho jerk, and you ruined my life." Marceline angrily told Ash as she cries. She angrily leaves his house, not wanting to see that backstabbing jerk, ever again!
Meanwhile for, Princess Bubblegum she also lost something. (Her amulet).

During the construction of the Candy Kingdom. She met someone outside the walls and brings her inside. (The stranger was Shoko, a one-armed common thief who steals items for "clients" in exchange for money). Shoko "tells" Princess Bubblegum, the Bath Boys knocked her out, and says they stole everything she has. Shoko explains, it doesn't matter because, her parents say, "simple possessions aren't the most important things in life. All, you really need is a good computer". Shoko further explains that her parents traded her arm, to some tranch for a computer.

Princess Bubblegum is shocked and explains that parents are supposed to protect their children. Shoko takes Princess Bubblegum's words to heart, and the two form a friendship. Shoko considers staying with Princess Bubblegum and adopting a normal life, but a spy from the Bath Boy Gang threatens to tell the Bath Boy Gang leader that she abandoned the job, which would result in her death. Fearing for her life, Shoko "pretends" to beat up the spy, resulting in high praise of her combat ability from Princess Bubblegum.
Princess Bubblegum, then asked Shoko if she can help her finish building her project. (The Gumball Guardians). The last thing Princess Bubblegum does to complete her project is to turn on the Guardians, with her amulet.

Princess Bubblegum was thankful of Shoko, for helping her finish building the Gumball Guardians, so she made her a new arm. (As a symbol of their new friendship).

Shoko loves her new arm, and is grateful for PB, but she remembers that if she doesn't bring, PB's amulet to the Bath Boy Gang, they'll kill her.
"I'm sorry, Princess Bubblegum..." These were Shoko's last words before her demise.
While PB was sleeping, Shoko sneaked in to steal her amulet only to get caught by the Gumball Guardians. Making a run for it, she was accidentally blasted into the toxic waste river. PB ordered the Guardians to get her out, but the toxic waste of the river burned their hand.
PB watched in sorrow, while Shoko's tiger lays down in sadness. She looks at the tiger for a few moments, then runs off. (PB might have blamed herself, for not being able to save Shoko from the river and the Bath Boy Gang).

After, Princess Bubblegum left, Shoko (now a mutant) rises from the toxic river, and crawls to the grasslands, as the sun rises. She sees she now has an arm, but dies of radiation from the river. (While still holding PB's amulet).
Moving on, PB and Marceline begin their relationship. They would both hang out and have laughs together. Hold hands. Girlfriend stuff.

And often hang out in the Rock Candy Mines, where PB caught Marceline spray painting the walls. Or to get PB, out of boring Kingdom trade meetings.
But things got complicated PB's kingdom grew, and she had a lot of responsibilities and expectations. She would even do heinous things to other kingdoms and her own life forms. (You get what I mean, if you watch the show). She would push everything away to focus on work, (including Marceline).
One day, Princess Bubblegum was called to help the Glass People, in the Glass Kingdom, to defeat a dragon. in the Glass Kingdom, Princess Bubblegum was full a lot of stress in that time, wanting to save the Glass People, and to prove she's a genius to them.

Marceline tagged along, wanting to spend time with her GF. PB tells her "I don't have time for you right now”. (That is the same thing Marceline's mom said to her, when she was little). Marceline then starts to act immature, and PB (who is full of stress and pressure) tells Marceline to go home, saying. "I honestly can't focus with you here, acting like Monster Trash".

Hurt by this, Marceline replied "Well, as long as we're being really honest". Starts to sing a song called WOKE UP. Calling, PB a dictator and singing that she doesn't really care about her "stupid Candy Kingdom". The song managed to make the dragon go back inside his cave, and the Glass People are grateful to Marceline.

PB, who was shocked on what Marceline just sing to her. She asked her if she was serious. Marceline just ignores her, meaning that she meant it.
That was the end of their relationship with PB running home crying on what happened. Both are sad on what happened.
(That’s it for part 1. Please let me know if I missed anything, and no rude comments).

So, I suppose I have a Sashannarcy Aladdin AU now that I never knew I needed but I'm obsessed with it
Anne's eyes sparkled and her mouth slightly opened agape. The princess her heart had longed so much to have another sight of stood at the top of the stairs, dressed in her regal robe, gazing down at her. Anne gave her a toothy smile, Marcy was just as pretty as Anne had seen her be when they first met in the Bazaar, disguised as a commoner, escaping from the royal guards. The only thing missing was her wide enthusiastic grin which was rather tiny and the added pigment of tiredness in her eyes.
"That's her?" Sasha whispered in her ear. Anne bite her lip and nodded with a blush. "Dang, you weren't kidding, she is cute." The disguised Genie in armor smirked and gave her an encouraging shove in the back. "Make your move."
"Hi." The thief-turned-princess waved awkwardly. Marcy's eyebrow raised in amused curiosity as she politely waved back and began making her way down the stairs. Apparently, the hem of her robe caught the heel of her shoe and she lost her balance.
"Whoa-!" The princess grunted several times as she tumbled down the stairs. Sasha winced, Anne rushed over to help her up. "I'm okay!" She assured, jumping to her feet and dusting herself off nervously. "S-Sorry, you had to see that."
"Hey, happens to the best of us. Those shoes have got some heels, ami'right?" Anne scratched the back of her neck with a chuckle. "Good to see you agai...ah, I mean, finally, miss."
"Thank goodness." She muttered in relief and bent forward in courtesy. "Marcy Wu Leviathan of Newtopia." Anne nodded and smiled knowingly.
She felt Sasha pinch her from behind. "Bow and introduce yourself like a lady, dumbass."
"Nice...nice to meet you, Lady Marcy." Anne quickly knelt and took her hand to kiss the ring on her finger. Marcy squinted, surprised for a moment by the deep gesture of the other Princess. Sasha smacked herself. "I'm Ann…ie, Annie. Princess Annie of uhh…" she quickly tried to think of something. "Wartwood! Surely you've heard of me."
"Wartwood, huh?" Marcy tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Strange. Never heard of the place, don't get me wrong. I've never actually seen it appear on the map."
"It's fine. Probably not on the old maps." She leaned over to Sasha to whisper, "gonna have to fix the maps later."
"And this charming fella is your…?" Marcy gestured at the fair blond girl dressed in metal armor armed with a pink sword. Sasha grinned and bowed.
"Just a humble servant. A bodyguard to assist her highness."
"Sasha's my bestie from back home." Anne said gleefully, tugging her closer by the arm. The disguised Genie blushed bashfully and cleared her throat.
Marcy smiled sweetly and stepped closer. "Lovely. I saw you lift up the camels as you cheerlead your way here. Quite impressive strength you've got." Sasha blushed and stiffened up as the princess was almost too close, squeezing playfully onto her hefty bicep. "I would love to watch you do it again, Sasha."
Sasha huffed and folded her arms. "Watch me do a triple next time." Marcy burst into a giggle and turned back to Anne.
"I like your escort, Lady Annie. My father would look forward to doing business with you."
Anne's eye twitched, exchanging a confused look with Sasha. "Um… business?"
"That's why you're here, right?" Marcy asked as she began to recognize the matter. "Seventy five golden camels you brought, along with ninety-five white Persian monkeys, peacocks, servants and what not-" she turned, her tone turned to a rather grim one as she gave them a skeptical look. "The way you came here, anyone would assume you seem more intent on doing business than impressing me." She leaned against a pillar, fiddling with a shiny purple die that was initially unseen before. "Did you and your escort plan this show-off, try lure me with presents or…?"
"Oh, no, I-I think you're mistaken. We just assumed everyone liked presents!"
She flung the die and enclasped it in her fist with a grimace. "In general? Perhaps. For marriage intents? Just makes you come out like any other suitor thinking of me as a gold-digger type. Don't you think, mi'lady?"
Anne looked questionably at Sasha and dragged her over to a corner. "Dude, what the heck? You said she'd be impressed, she sounds rather offended."
Sasha shrugged cluelessly. "Well, I tried? Did you really have to yearn for this big brain? She's playing the tricks back on us. I could try scaring her into it if you want."
"Don't you dare try and enforce her, I can face the music on my own." Anne proclaimed, Sasha shrugged. They peeked back to see a distracted Marcy, tossing her die on the table which rolled a 15, humming to herself. Anne sighed and approached her. "Apologies for my flippant assumption," she began quietly. "I honestly can't blame you for not liking it, probably would've felt the same way in your place and I… ugh! None of this was a good idea to begin with, forget you ever saw me, I'll just get out of your hair."
"Whoa, wait," Marcy raised a hand, an eased expression on her face. "I didn't tell you to leave, jeez, are you always this hard on yourself?"
"Dude, tell me about it." Sasha leaned over Anne's shoulder and poked her sides who sighed and spoke up.
"We hardly know each other yet, don't we? I don't really know what things you like, but I'd like to." Marcy gazed into her eyes, the eyes that had been giving her a sense of familiarity all along, a tiny knowing smile formed on her face and she nodded. Her heart swore she'd seen this girl before. "So, what do you like?"
"Hmm… I like to read. We have the biggest library in the castle," she spread her arms in a demonstrating gesture. "And I love playing Flipwart, my favorite game of all time. Not to brag but I'm kind of literally a champion." She finished and puffed up her chest with a smirk.
"Ooh…great," Anne muttered cluelessly, never really having learned either of those things it was gonna be hard. "Well, not sure how much I'd be able to help but I'd be more than happy to accompany you still."
Marcy's eyes sparkled, never really having been asked to be accompanied before to her interests, not by anyone but her father.
A pink blush traced upon her cheeks as she tugged her hair behind her ear. "Really? I'd… love that." She slowly took Anne and Sasha's in hers to take them with her. "Come, come, I wanna show you our big library, it's just downsta-" she never finished as her heel bent, tripping and stumbling down the stairs again, taking the two other girls down with her.

SO I am a really big Adventure Time fan and I made a decision for all the people in my life who wanted to watch the show but didn’t want to watch unnecessary episodes: to create a watch guide.
Surprisingly whenever I talked about it, a lot of people were interested.
So, below the cut, my Adventure Time watch guide:
*Not a lot of episodes could, in my opinion, be cut. My reasons for not cutting an episode could be because it has a character that comes back later in the series, a certain character needed more screen time, or as simple a reason as I personally feel like it shouldn’t be cut. However, some episodes that I think just enhance the series or are particularly memorable, but aren’t necessary, are labelled as “not necessary but fun/cute”
Adventure time watch guide: The necessary episodes Season 1: 1.) slumber party panic, episode 1 2.) trouble in lumpy space 3.) prisoners of love 4.) tree trunks 5.) enchiridion 6.) the jiggler 7.) [UPDATED: Complete Guide] Are you interested in watching Adventure Time, but intimidated by the thought of watching 283 episodes? Have you watched the series before, but want to watch again without any filler episodes (unless it’s Bubbline, of course?) This is for you!
After seeing several requests, I have compiled the complete list of all the Adventure Time episodes that contain major plot, important backstory, major characterization, and/or Bubbline moments. I have also included optional episodes that I think will increase your understanding/enjoyment of the show (I put the reason next to it; if it says something about being an arc, backstory, characterization, etc., be warned that not watching may make the major plot points of the show a bit more confusing for you).
I condensed the show down to 153 of the 10-minute episodes (91 episodes if you don’t watch any of the optional episodes). Optional episodes are in italics. Episodes with Bubbline moments, characterization of Marcy/Princess Bubblegum (PB), or major backstory/plot related to Marcy/PB are in bold. Anything with a an asterisk (*) can be watched at any time (order doesn’t matter, though you may still want to watch it in the same season).
I hope this helps someone out since I spent hours putting it together! Without further ado…
Season 1
1 x 2 “Trouble in Lumpy Space” | Introduces LSP
1 x 3 “Prisoners of Love” | Introduces the Ice King

Adventure Time Episode Guide
I’ve seen a lot of posts like these but most of them only go up to season 6 and/or exclude episodes that I think are pretty important so... as somebody who’s been watching Adventure Time since it first aired, here’s my ultimate must-watch episode guide!
I’ve included all the episodes that are relevant to the larger plot (as well as a few particularly heartwarming “filler” episodes) and all of them are annotated so that you can know in advance exactly what they contribute to the series.
You can watch seasons 1-9 on Hulu and find most of the episodes on Dailymotion. The blog madridista-again has also posted direct downloads of a lot of the episodes from season 8 and onward. In addition, if you download the extension Hola, you may be able to watch some of the episodes on Netflix.

@the-electric-manectric’s Follow Forever !
During the 4-5 years since I made this blog, I’ve never actually made a follow forever before. Regardless, countless of you have chosen to include me in your ff’s, and even to this day it puts a smile on my face to be included. I thought that I would *finally* return the favour to those who reached out to me and to those who I look up to! A lot of you have inspired me and kept me entertained time and time again, and I don’t think that I could ask for a more enjoyable experience. Tumblr is definitely a hellhole of a site, but I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.
There’s a crap ton of people that I probably missed, but I tried to include everybody that I wanted to. With that being said, ty to you guys for sticking around for this long (anybody remember my old url? lmaoo) And to the sudden influx of followers that I’ve had over the past few weeks: welcome! Apologies in advance for being underwhelming on every level, but thank you for your support <3
Bolded = My favourites+highly recommended

Adventure Time Episode List - no fillers
So I've been meaning to do this quite for some time - some pf my friends wanted to catch up with Adventure time, but with the show being 9 seasons in, it's a lil disheartening, knowing there is a whole bunch of filler stuff. So, I decided to make them a list of plot centric episodes or at least those episodes that give more character insight.
Weeding out the fillers. There are, most likely, similar lists around, but this is just how I see the highlights of the show.
* - will mark episodes that aren't plot driven, but I feel are good character or story-wise or give more info for side characters.
** - will mark episodes that are contributions of guest directors and have simply a different visual style. They are usually fillers, but maybe some would like to enjoy the animation.
XX/YY - the first number is the episode of the series, the second is it’s number within the season.
Season 1

Looking to catch up on Adventure Time before the finale, but intimidated by the thought of watching 279 episodes? Watched the series before, but want to relive the magic one last time before the finale without filler episodes (aside from Bubbline, of course)? This is for you!
Without further ado, here is an updated episode guide containing all the AT episodes that contain major plot, important backstory, and/or Bubbline moments. I have also included optional episodes that I think will increase your understanding/enjoyment of the show (I put the reason next to it; if it says something about being an arc, backstory, etc., be warned that not watching may make major plot points of the show a bit more confusing.)
I have condensed the show down from 279 to 181 of the 10-minute episodes (only 100 if you skip all the optional episodes).
Once again, optional episodes are in italics. Episodes with Bubbline moments, characterization and/or major backstory/plot related to Marcy/PB are in bold. Anything with a an asterisk (*) can be watched at any time (order doesn’t matter, though you may still want to watch it in the same season). I hope you enjoy!

Are you interested in watching Adventure Time, but intimidated by the thought of watching 252 episodes? Have you watched the series before, but want to watch again without any filler episodes (unless it’s Bubbline, of course)? This is for you!
After seeing a request in the ATimers tag, I have compiled a list of all the Adventure Time episodes that contain major plot, important backstory, major characterization, and/or Bubbline moments. I have also included optional episodes that I think will increase your understanding/enjoyment of the show (I put the reason next to it; if it says something about being an arc, backstory, characterization, etc., be warned that not watching may make the major plot points of the show a bit more confusing for you).
I condensed the show down to 128 of the 10-minute episodes (69 episodes if you don’t watch any of the optional episodes).
I hope this helps someone out since I spent three hours putting it together! Without further ado…
