Sasharcy Week Day 2: Calamity
Kinda angst but not really lol. Enjoy!
Word Count: 653
Day 2: Calamity
“Alright so basically, these three humans get summoned to another world to save it from calamity by this king right? So, they gear up and go on quests to get stronger and gather clues about what needs to be done, which is to gather these artifacts
”
Sasha layed on her side with a comfortable smile on her face as she stared at the dark haired girl sitting next to her. It felt like she could listen to Marcy go on and on about anything forever, if only to hear her voice. Right now, she was busy explaining her favorite game, Vagabondia Chronicles. But Sasha couldn’t hear a single word, too busy observing Marcy as she ranted.
“Sasha!”
The way that her hands flew through the air as she gestured to get her point across.
“C’mon Sasha!”
The way that her smile seemed to brighten the very world around them, making it seem like everything would be okay.
“It’s too late, Heart.”
The way that her voice was more beautiful than even the mystical siren’s call.
“Sasha’s stronger than you could ever know.”
The way that her green eyes might as well have been a labyrinth with how she could get lost in them.
“Wake up, Sasha! We have to save her!”
Had her eyes always been this bright? She could swear that her eyes had been brown.
“According to my calculations, it would be best to worry about yourself, Heart.”
Before she could ponder on it for too long, Marcy’s voice flowed through her head again, lulling her to relax, her smile growing wider.
“Marcy knows! Marcy knows just how strong Sasha is! She knows that Sasha would never lose to something like this! Not after everything they’ve been through together!”
Marcy. The name suddenly cut through her mind, and for a second, it was as if a fog had been lifted. The scene of them in her room disappearing and being replaced by her friend, Anne, locked in combat with something wrong. Something with far too many eyes, something that looked far too similar to
 Marcy.
“Hey Sasha, are you even listening?”
Now sitting up rather than lying down, Sasha panted as she looked towards Marcy who was pouting with her hands on her hips. But Sasha couldn’t get that image out of her head. Marcy sat in a throne, head in her hands while wearing a helmet with too many eyes. Marcy with her back towards her before a flash of light and a cold voice echoing out, “She’s fading fast.” Sasha’s breath quickened as memories flashed through her mind one after another. Her and Marcy at school, at the arcade, and at sleepovers at Anne’s house.
“Sashy, are you alright?” The girl in front of her asked, a worried expression on her face. Before she could answer, her vision was tinted a bright pink, and everything became clear. The illusion disappeared as the figure and scenery in front of her melted and gave way to the dark and dreary decor of Andrias’s castle. Gave way to her dual swords lying just a ways ahead of her. Gave way to Anne scrambling on the ground, back to a wall, as Mar- that thing raised its sword.
And then, the world exploded into a flash of pink, and she was standing in front of the fallen Anne, swords locked with the creature in front of her.
“Give her back,” Sasha said, her voice cold as ice as she stared into the many eyes of the monster in front of her.
The smile disappeared from it’s face before it responded in an emotionless voice, “You’re too late Strength. A shame really, she was so sure you in particular would come for her.”
“We’ll see about that. I’ll free her, if it’s the last thing I do.”
“If that is your wish, then consider it granted.”
“Wait for me Marcy. I’m coming for you.”

Sasharcy Week Day 4: Future AU
I low-key combined Day 5: Memories and Day 6: Scars as well since work has been suuuuper busy and I'm tired :p.
Enjoy! Word count: 1199
Summary: Seven years after the events of Amphibia, and after Marcy moved away with her parents, Sasha moves into a new apartment to find a familiar face.
Sasha sighed as she got up from a chair and grabbed a well-worn book from her desk, opening it to reveal pictures adorning the pages. Her finger made lazy circles around the pictures as she reminisced of her past, smiling at a picture of her and two other girls from when she was in middle school. She paused on one of the girl's faces before a frown fell on her face and she closed the book with a sigh, placing the book back in its spot and walking through the box filled room to get some sleep for the move tomorrow.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sasha took a deep breath as she stood outside the door of her new apartment, hand on the doorknob. She’d never had a roommate but she had plenty of sleepovers with Anne and
Marcy. But, it couldn’t be that different, she just hoped that they were as nice as they sounded over text. She tightened her hand around the door, but it suddenly opened out and someone slammed into her, causing them both to fall to the ground.
“Ouch, my bad, I wasn’t watching where I was going.” Sasha heard as she slowly got back up to her feet and looked at who she assumed would be her roommate. Her skin paled and she took a step back while she sized up the girl in front of her. Although she had changed in the seven odd years since she left, Sasha could never forget Marcy Wu, and here she was, standing in front of her and holding out her hand in apology.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It’d been a long time since Marcy felt as awkward as she did at that moment, sitting across from Sasha — her new roommate — with untouched cups of tea resting between them. She gave the blond girl a once over, Sasha was already strong in Amphibia, and it was clear that she hadn’t gotten any weaker since then. One of her eyes was still permanently closed, a jagged scar running over it. More light scars running all across her arms, and although she couldn’t see them, she knew more laid across her torso.
“All because of you”, her mental roommate traitorously supplied. Marcy sighed as the voice in her head began berating her. Although the Core was defeated, it couldn’t be fully removed without hurting Marcy, and so she was stuck with its thoughts on every situation. It was mostly quiet but it seems like it couldn’t help but interject now that ‘Strength’ was in front of her.
“It goes without saying that she’s the strongest, it’s why she’s Strength. But because you were weak, Wit, she wouldn’t hurt you. If you were stronger, she wouldn’t have had to lose that eye.” The voice crooned, causing Marcy to flinch and slouch a little more in her seat. “I’ve seen your thoughts after all, you hope she’s here to forgive you. But that’s the thing about friends isn’t it? The more you love them, the more it hurts when they go.” The Core continued. Marcy hugged her arms around her stomach and looked down as her old scar began to feel like it was beating just out of sync with her own heart.
“Maybe it’s right
” she muttered under her breath, not noticing how Sasha’s head shot up and how a frown settled over her face, eyes furrowed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sasha usually always had something to say. Being at the top of the social ladder throughout middle and high school, alongside her time in Amphibia, had honed her silver tongue to an astounding degree. She had even been able to talk her way out of the toad jail, heron attack aside. But now, sitting across from Marcy, she found herself completely silent, any words that would’ve been said being lost somewhere in the journey from her throat to her mouth.
It had never been this hard to talk to Anne after Amphibia. She had apologized and after some time, they remained close friends even to this day. So why then, was it so hard to do the same with Marcy. Perhaps it was because she never got real closure after everything that had happened. Marcy’s parents had whisked her away as soon as they left the portal with her on their shoulders, leaving Anne and Sasha behind.
Speaking of Amphibia, Sasha flinched as her good eye met the three vertical scars on the other girl’s forehead, looking eerily similar to eyes. And though she couldn’t see it, she would never forget the hole-sized scar left on Marcy’s stomach. She was there when it happened after all. Ironic, that although she was the one the gems designated as ‘Strength’, she couldn’t imagine going through what Marcy did.
As Sasha was silently observing Marcy, she slouched down and said, “Maybe it’s right
”
“Marcy? You okay?” Sasha asked worriedly before noticing how Marcy was hugging her scar and anger flashed through her eye. “Is that thing trying to talk to you again?” She growled out.
Marcy flinched back before quietly muttering, “No
”
“Bullshit!” Sasha replied, slamming her fist on the table. “You can’t listen to it, Marcy. It’s evil.”
“But I’m just as evil as it!” Yelled out Marcy, shooting out from her chair. “I’m the one who gave you that scar along your eye, I’m the one who made Anne lose her arm, and I’m the one who nearly killed you both! It’s my fault that-”
Before the girl could continue, Sasha rushed forward and tackled her into a hug. “Marcy, none of those things were your fault. You made mistakes, yeah, but we all did. I betrayed the both of you more times than I ever should have, but both of you forgave me. And I did that out of my own free will. But you? You were betrayed by that shitty tyrant, and had your body and mind invaded, but you still managed to fight back. The music box chose me to represent Strength, but I think it got it wrong. You’re stronger than you give yourself credit for Marcy.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“You’re stronger than you give yourself credit for Marcy.” Something about those words broke through the dam that Marcy had painstakingly built ever since returning from Amphibia seven years ago. The Core’s voice was nothing more than a distant echo in her head as she clutched onto Sasha like a lifeline as she continued her speech.
“Do you remember what happened the day after the fight? Even as broken and battered we were after everything, we took a picture. A picture of all three of us, with the brightest smiles on our faces as we hugged because we were finally all back together. And despite the weight that photo carries, I look at it everyday before I go to sleep, to remind myself that we’ve gotten through worse things before. That we can get through anything as long as we’re together.”
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The two girls sat there, on the kitchen floor, tea forgotten on the table as they reminisced of their past memories, the good and the bad. And although the future may be uncertain, they knew that they would be able to handle it with each other. They always do.

Sasharcy Week Day 3: Sun & Moon
Tried a different style of writing for this one and I don't know how much I like it :p Enjoy!
Word Count: 537
Day 3: Sun & Moon
“Welcome back class, to Mythology 101! I hope you had a good break because we’re going to jump right into stories revolving around the sun and the moon. There are many different stories from all over the world concerning these celestial bodies, but none more interesting than the one I have prepared for you today. So let me guide you through the story of the sun goddess Sasha, and the moon goddess Marcy.”
“Our story begins in an ancient land, where it is said that the sun never sets. Year round the sun would shine with its intensity, and the only way to appease it was with a sacrifice.”
“But professor, why would the people think that?” Asked a curious student.
“Well because the sun itself told them. You see, every year on the winter solstice, a beam of light would fall from the sky, and where it struck, a woman would appear. This was the Sun Goddess Sasha. She would go to the village elder and demand a sacrifice be made, else she would ruin their harvest the next year.”
A student raised their hand before speaking up, “But why would she do this? Just because she could?”
“We’re getting there. Now, every winter solstice, an animal would be given to Sasha in return for a safe harvest the next year. But one day, when she came down during the solstice, she noticed a beautiful lady by the name of Marcy. And after accepting the sacrifice and leaving, she left the heavens the very next day and integrated herself into the village as a traveler. For years she stayed in that village and became close friends with Marcy.”
“But wouldn’t the villagers notice that she’s Sasha? She came down every year after all.”
“That’s just the thing. Sasha was more than happy to simply be spending time with Marcy, and so she stopped asking for sacrifices during the solstices and though the villagers were confused, the harvests remained fine so they didn’t think much of it. However, Marcy was still a mortal and suddenly grew sick. Panicked, Sasha left to the realm of gods to find someone that could heal her. But during her absence, the village was raided and Marcy was injured. In her fury, Sasha burned the attackers to the ground before beginning to weep for Marcy, and for the first time, the sun dimmed.”
“So, did she
 die?”
“Not exactly. The Allfather, the king of the gods so to speak, saw his daughter's tears and healed Marcy. And at Sasha’s behest, split her divinity in two and gave the other half to Marcy. From then on, rather than just the sun, there would also be the moon. Forever hand in hand for as long as time itself. And as the legend goes, each year during the solstices, the constellations change and you can see Sasha and Marcy dancing together in the stars.”
“But-“ before the student could finish, a sharp bell rang through the room.
“Have a wonderful day class,” the professor smiled before walking out of the room and heading home to her partner, just as she did everyday, and just as she always will, for as long as time itself.

I'll Never Forget You.
An alternative take to the "Memory Wipe In Progress" scene from the most recent episode, "The Core and The King."
It’s finally over.
Anne looked around the ruins of the once great, but now destroyed Newtopian castle. Members of the resistance scattered throughout the battlefield, panting with exhaustion atop endless piles of robots. Even Andrias, behemoth of a monster he was, lying face-down just a few feet in front of her, defeated.
To her right was Sasha, hair bright pink and by her side, like she swore she always would be. She was leaning on her dual swords, digging them into the ground to stay upright in an attempt to conceal her exhaustion. Despite the battle being over, her job as a leader was not. She had to remain standing strong, a symbol to those who remain conscious, and a tribute to those that would never be.
Anne locked eyes with Sasha as the two nodded and made their way towards the shattered throne that lay ahead, or rather, the dark armored figure that lay upon it. It had taken a lot of struggling, and an even greater amount of willpower but together with the olms and Valeriana, her knowledge as the final guardian was quite useful, they had found a way to separate Marcy from the Core. Of course, Marcy herself fighting against the Core in the final moments was pivotal to the plan.
Standing before her now, Anne heard Sasha sharply inhale between her teeth. Nobody had worked harder than her to get to where they were now, not even Anne. The black haired figure on the throne in sharp contrast to the bright green that had erupted from her during the fight not even an hour prior. The two girls leaned down, brushing the hair out of Marcy’s face and picking up the shattered pieces of that hideous helmet that once masked her, intending to dispose of them when all was said and done.
Suddenly, breaking through what must have been months of exhaustion, she woke up. Brown eyes changing color as they slowly opened and a small gasp escaping her as she lifted an arm to the two girls standing over her.
No words were needed as the two collapsed and embraced Marcy, letting go of their powers and finally letting the reality of the moment hit them. They had finally done it. After what had seemed like lifetimes but was probably only a year, they had finally been reunited once and for all.
At least, that’s how the story was meant to end. Neither Anne nor Sasha could’ve predicted the small voice that escaped Marcy’s mouth at that moment.
“Who?”
A single word was all it took to remind Anne and Sasha that the world wasn’t fair, and that not all stories have a fairytale ending.
“C’mon Marbles, now isn’t the time to be playing jokes,” Sasha croaked out, dropping her swords for the first time that day. Anne flinched as they clattered across the stone floor, a resounding clang for every step they fell. For a second, she realized that she understood how those swords felt, dropping from their highest point to their lowest in the blink of an eye.
“Did you forget? Did you forget who we are? Me, Sasha, the Plantars, all of Earth?” Anne yelled out desperately, grabbing Marcy’s figure and pulling her into an upright position against the wall.
“Of course not. I still remember everything, Saint James, the temples, even the Battle of the Bands back in Wartwood. But there’s just one thing,” Marcy responded, in a voice much too devoid of her usual excitement and wonder, causing Sasha to take a step back and stifle a gasp by slapping her hand against her mouth as Anne just held on even tighter.
“While I understand that I should care about these things. I fail to understand why - no - how to go about doing that. Perhaps you can explain, Anne,” and after hearing those words, Anne Boonchuy, the second in command to the rebellion that successfully saved Amphibia, broke down in tears.
“You promised Mar-Mar, you promised me that I wouldn’t lose you,” she screamed out, furiously wiping tears as they fell from her face, barely registering Sasha placing a hand on her shoulder alongside her much quieter sobbing. But even through her tears, she couldn’t miss the way that confusion fell across Marcy’s face at her words. “But you didn’t lose me, Anne. I’m right here aren’t I? You and Sasha saved me from the Core. I’ll never forget you, I’ll never forget either of you.”

Princess!Sasha and Knight!Marcy AU time
First things first. Why princess Sasha and not Marcy. To that I say that Marcy protecting Sasha instead of the other way around makes brain go brrrr. (Also the knight/night!Marcy play on words kills me every time I see it)
Anyway, AU where Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were transported as children and grew up in Amphibia. Andrias takes in Sasha and Marcy and declares Sasha as princess and Marcy as her guard. The gem powers are also well known and Andrias was the previous heart.
He claims he’s looking for the last of the trio for the sake of Amphibia but really he just wants to do what he does in canon, the whole invading other universes thing and all that. It’s much easier to fight your enemies when they don’t even know they’re supposed to fight you. Andrias thinks he won’t have to worry about the prophecy if he just keeps them all under his control.
Meanwhile Sasha, who is still strength, is much more interested in the kingdom that she was brought up to rule rather than, well, actually ruling it. So she runs away one night and Marcy goes with her as her bodyguard. They eventually end up in Wartwood (Joe Sparrow helped) which is a much bigger city than in canon. It’s sorta just the best place to live if you’re on the lower end of the socioeconomic ladder.
Once they finally get there, Anne steals something off Sasha to pawn it for money and the story goes from there.
The lost princess is a pretty big deal considering that she has the strength gem’s powers and the same goes for her guard who’s also missing with the wit gem. Anne secretly has the heart powers but nobody knows that, not even herself.

Sasharcy Week Day 1
Wow, I'm not dead huh. Assassin AU for this one.
Word Count: 387
Sasharcy Week Day 1: Flowers
“I’ve found you a job.”
“The reward?”
“Ten-thousand.”
“The target?”
“The Princess.”
“Done.”
The heir to the throne, Princess Marcy, looked towards the flowers that rested upon her dresser and sighed. Sasha, her childhood friend, had brought them to her just earlier that day. A beautiful bouquet of snapdragons and begonias. “Beware of deception
” the Princess muttered to herself as she got up to inspect the flowers.
She sighed and rubbed her forehead as she walked out to her balcony. It was about time for this to happen, especially with the current state of the kingdom. “Seems like the rumours are true,” she said to herself, looking out over the city she would soon rule.
“That they are, Princess,” replied a voice that suddenly appeared next to her, causing Marcy to jump in surprise, nearly falling over the railing before being caught. “Careful now, it’d be a shame if I had to bring you back dead,” the voice teased as its owner pulled her in close.
Looking up, a smile graced the Princess’s face as she said, “Yes, I suppose I wouldn’t want that either, Waybright,” lightly pushing the other figure away. “But whatever has happened, for the most feared assassin in the lands to come visit me?”
The blond assassin chuckled before a somber look fell over her face. “The guilds are tired of serving the king. They put a bounty on your head, ten-thousand gold alive, and half that for your head.” She sighed and shook her head before joining Marcy and leaning over the balcony next to her. “I accepted it, but I can only stall for so long. Even with my reputation, others will come for you.”
Despite the bad news, Marcy just smiled and looked towards the other girl’s eyes. “Then you’ll just have to protect me, my knight.”
“You shouldn’t be so trusting of strangers, Princess,” the assassin chided as she stepped forward.
“Is that what the flowers were for? To remind me?” the Princess responded, the smile not leaving her face.
“Well, those were from Waybright, the assassin, as a warning. But this? This is from Sasha, your loyal protector.” She whispered beneath her breath as she pulled out a single red rose from her coat and tucked it into Marcy’s hair. “We’ll get through this together.”
“We always do.”

Drabble thing
Small ~500 word drabble I wrote while stressing out for finals tomorrow. Premise is uhhhh, if the Calamitrio had their gem powers as superpowers. So Superpower AU I guess?
Growing up with super-strength was supposed to be easy. Being able to leap over buildings in a single bound and clearing the weather with just a punch was nice and all, but it was more of a pain than anything. Can’t jump over buildings if you destroy the city block under your feet while you do it. Having the power to clear the skies was also pretty cool, but having that much power in one fist made life very annoying.
And that is the downside of super-strength. Control. It’s everywhere in the comics of the before-times, when humanity had yet to evolve. But the comics made it look easier than it really was. It was difficult to keep in mind that everyone you ever meet is
fragile, compared to yourself. That you always have to be on edge and treat everyone like glass, or else they might shatter.
If only understanding what everyone felt could be easier. It would certainly help not having to worry about how much strength to use at any one point, or rather, if there was too much strength. But alas, that would be too easy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Being an empath was interesting. It basically guaranteed a spot at the top of the social ladder. It’s pretty easy to be well-liked when you always know just what to say. And knowing what people felt made it pretty easy to reassure them when sad, or congratulate them when they’re ecstatic. But sometimes, the downsides seemed to outnumber the good parts.
You can’t even turn it off, it’s just non-stop noise. All day, all week, all year, nothing but people’s feelings filling your head. You can’t even hear your own thoughts over everyone else flooding your mind, even if unintentionally. And it’s more than just knowing what people are feeling, it’s feeling it for yourself. It’s having sudden mood shifts based on those around you. It’s not knowing if you can even have emotions of your own.
If only it was easier to understand people without having to feel for them. If you could just look at someone and their habits and solve them. It would certainly help, to finally have silence for once, to not have to listen and feel everything. But alas, that would be too easy.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Having super intelligence was a lot of fun! School was never difficult and the possibilities in the future are endless! You can do anything you want to do, and it wouldn’t even be difficult, barely even an inconvenience. Nobody could even try to trick you either, they’re all too obvious. So yeah! Having super intelligence really is fun. Except for when it’s not.
It’s boring, never being challenged intellectually. When you can learn everything there is to know about anything in just a few days, there’s not much drive to actually do anything. Sure, being able to deconstruct people from their smallest habits was interesting, it was also pretty intrusive. And all the smarts in the world can’t help when people leave you like they always do.
If only understanding people was harder. Sometimes, it’s for the better that people remain a mystery. Understanding everything makes people boring, just another equation to solve, just like all the rest. But alas, that would be too easy.

Woooo! Longest chapter to date, 10 pages. Big old fight scene included. Spoilers for the chapter under the cut
Alright so Valeriana came in with the ladybug to save the day woooo. Now, as I mentioned before, I don't like having someone that can just solve the problems that the cast is facing but just doesn't. SO if you remember from an earlier chapter, Valeriana says this. “Well I can’t transform to fight, Trixx. My fate is that of a guardian, not a wielder. Unless absolutely necessary I cannot and will not interfere.” "So why then, can she transform with the ladybug?" Well, due to her vow as a guardian, she basically resolved to never use the miraculous that she guards. I think this works because it makes sure that guardians aren't tempted by the same power they protect. And if they do, then there is a price to pay. It is implied in this chapter that Valeriana lost one of her arms because of this. After using the miraculous in this chapter, she now needs glasses since her eyesight got worse. The punishment changes based on what you do with the miraculous. What did she do to lose her arm? I'm not gonna say here. Use your imagination. So I hope that clears some stuff up. If there are still any questions, my asks are always open. (Or if you just wanna talk about amphibia or miraculous) Peace out.

More on my ML Amphibia AU
I swear I’m actually writing this and not just thinking about it xd. Anyway here we go. Amphibia spoilers and the most minor of miraculous spoilers up ahead.
Ok so in canon the kwami can't sense each other. This is proven by the fact that Tikki and Plagg didn't know each others holder until Dark Owl. Also by the fact that Plagg has yet to sense Nooroo despite living in the same house.
This means that I don't have to worry about them noticing each other whenever the calamity trio are hanging out.
Also, I headcanon the transformations as literal fusions. Where normally the kwami becomes the suit and that's why Marinette and Adrien aren't show as injured after the fights, because their kwami tanked it. That's also why they need to eat, to recharge after using their power and to regain stamina. (The kwami have been shown to get really exhausted without food after all.)
The kicker for this AU comes when, rather than fusing as the body, Nooroo takes over as the mind when Marcy transforms. Meaning that Marcy just kind of has to watch as Nooroo does the evil for her. This does come at the cost of not being anywhere near as durable physically since most of Nooroo's power goes to maintaining that control.
But wait, there's more. Since you literally cannot have Marcy and not have some sort of psychological abuse/torture, I don't make the rules I just follow them, Nooroo takes over gradually. So like, the first time they transform, it's just a normal transformation with her in full control. She can't hear Nooroo or anything. But he slowly starts to invade her mind the more they transform since they literally become one. Until she's barely even her own person, to losing full control when transformed.
I swear both Nooroo and Marcy are my favorite characters in their respective media but sadly that's not a good thing for them... "Why doesn't Marcy just take off the miraculous?" Sorta like the canon peacock, the damage stayed with Marcy. Also, the first time she put the brooch on, Nooroo told her it wouldn't go away by any other means than the miraculous. Of course, like with the canon peacock, she would have healed after separating from it for a long enough time but by the time she realizes that she's too far gone.
In other news I've decided on Turtle!Anne (Please oh please for the love of god help me with a name for her) and Cat!Sasha aka Onyx (Taking suggestions for that as well since I'm unoriginal). They live in LA but I've never been to LA myself so hopefully that doesn't really come up.
