Went to an arcade in a mall recently and they had a Marble of Souls in there, so I played it and won some cards hehe. Those things are LOUD, like piercingly LOUD. I could hear it screeching bitcrushed vampire killer throughout the whole arcade, partially because of how loud it was and partially because I heard vampire killer and immediately tuned out everything else. Had a really nice conversation with the people at the ticket counter too, one of them was a fan of the games and they were all really nice :). Really interesting experience, I guess now I get to say I’ve fed Konami’s gambling addiction 💀💀💀. I’ve got Simon and Maria in card protectors rn (only had two) and I plan to get more protectors to put cute little stickers on them lol. Might put Simon in a lanyard or my wallet XD. But for now they’re just sitting on a shelf for display :3.

So I'm not familiar at all with soul eater (though it is on my to-watch list), is madness an actual disease? Like it has physical symptoms? Or is it just a mental one? And on that note, can you recover from it? Are there consequences to being mad, like death or something else that's permanent?

No worries! I actually really like the concept of madness (if you couldn’t already tell sksks)

So madness is “a non-magical force possessed by every living being in the world that influences behavior”. This force is innate but it’s quantity in a living being varies from person to person, with some beings able to amplify it or share their own madness with others!

In high quantities has a lot of special effects, such as causing illusions and jamming signals, but most notably it influences a person’s behavior and usually in a destructive manner (ie. making you reckless, not feel pain, ect).

Still, it can also be used a a sort of power boost, that is, as long as you don’t let it consume you and get lost to it :)c

Lastly, there is no real cure for it, but you can recover from it if you’re not fully consumed by it (there are also anti demon wavelengths that some people possess that can help counter madness! Which ingo possesses!)

But yeah! There’s more to it but that’s the jist of it!

Do you guys think Alex and Jay ever made playlists for each other? Do you think they ever burned all those tracks onto a CD and they had that stupid cringe name inside joke title on it? Do you think Alex ever tried to remember what jay liked to drink in winter vs what he liked to drink in the summer? Do you think Jay ever made a mental note to pick up some of Alex’s favorite snacks from the store even if it was a little over budget because he just knew Alex would come over? And he would just *know* where the snacks were because they used to know each others spaces so well? Do you think Alex ever told Jay not to go outside with his hair wet because he might catch a cold? Do you think Jay ever kept extra bandaids for when Alex would get anxious and spiral and start picking at the skin around his nails? Do you think when Alex would see the pale blue in the morning sky he thought of Jay and his eyes? Do you think they might see each other again in a different timeline,in a different universe,in a different life? Do you think they beloved each other? Even when they said ‘I love you’? Even if they don’t remember it?
