I'm your (not so) friendly reminder that no matter how much you love the jews and yhe Jewish community or how much you support us, it doesn't mean you're one of us.

Celebrating Jewish holidays as a goy is not only cultural appropriation, but extremely disrespectful of our faith and belief.

Our holidays and commandments are for us, and goys are not allowed to practice them. This is why even people who are in the process of conversion aren't allowed to keep Shabbat fully until they finished the process.

You guys can headcanon whatever you want but I choose the more tragic, painful, angsty option, which in , Sirius died before he had the chance to learn about the details, and the truth behind his brother's death.

I’ve been struggling to find the words, but I can’t stay silent anymore. Since October 7th, the Jewish community has been facing horrors that are beyond comprehension. The stories of the Bibas babies and so many others are heartbreaking. No matter the politics—no matter the history—there’s no justification for this kind of pain and loss. But the history does matter. It matters because it explains the fear, the trauma, and the complexity of what we’re experiencing right now.

I need to say this clearly: I don’t agree with everything my government does. I question it, I criticize it, and I believe in fighting for justice and peace. But that doesn’t mean I deserve to see my people dehumanized. It doesn’t mean I should feel unsafe or unwelcome, even here, in a fandom space that’s supposed to be about love and community.

I never thought I’d feel unsafe in my safe space. This fandom has always been my escape, my comfort. But now, it feels different. It’s painful to see people celebrating the slaughter of babies. It’s painful to see antisemitism normalized, to see my identity and my pain dismissed. When did celebrating death become okay? When did we forget that behind every headline, there are real people hurting?

I wish people could see the humanity beyond the politics. I wish they could understand that criticizing a government is not the same as dehumanizing an entire people. I shouldn’t have to defend my identity. I shouldn’t have to justify my right to exist without fear or hatred.

I’m hurting. My community is hurting. And I just needed you to know.

That’s why Marauders for Jews matters so much to me. It’s more than just a fan project. It’s a place where I can feel seen and understood, a place where I don’t have to explain my pain or defend my identity. It’s a community created by Jewish fans who are coming together to support each other and to fight against hate.

We’re not asking anything from you. We’re not asking for political statements or public declarations. All we’re asking for is quiet support. Quiet support against hate. Against hate that has been going on since forever. Against people who have forgotten what we’ve been through.

We just want to exist safely. To share our identity without fear. To be part of a community that stands against hatred in all its forms.

We’re not only on Tumblr; we’re on Instagram as well. We’re building bridges and finding solidarity across platforms, making sure that no one feels alone in this. Whether you’re Jewish or just someone who stands against hate, this community is a place for you.

nothing angers me more than when people make an antisemitic statement about Jews and tag it with antisemitism

oh, so it's "cool" or "fun" to be antisemitic??

Do you know what it's like for people to deal with that stuff daily? Don't proudly tag that statement and hide behind a screen. How about you go to a synagogue or go up to your Jewish friends and tell them what you just proudly posted online. You want to be proud of being anti-Semitic? Not around me. Block me, I don't care, take your horrible statements, and stay away from me and my people.

Because it's Sukkot my brain is just going to think how the characters would react to waving the Lulav and Etrog.

I just know Severus would take it the same as he does with potion ingredients in an "It's necessary" way.

Remus still doesn't know why is it necessary but he doesn't question it.

James doesn't understand and very much questions it.

Lily will tell you the entire history behind it and would start drifting to tell you entire biblical stories.

Peter loves these stories tho.

Regulus is there as a counter to the stories, but it only makes it a more exciting conversation.

While Sirius is just thinking if the waving hurts the Lulav and Etrog.

Okey. So my 8 years old brother is no reading the Prisoner of Azkaban and after a few years in the marauders fandom it's so...unnatural for me to refer to Remus Lupin by his last name and not by his first, but otherwise my brother'd probably not understand who I am talking to.

One of the reasons I kinda stopped reblogin Jewish content on this blog, but this is important.

i am so unbelievably tired of nobody but jewish people caring about antisemitism

i know what people mean when they say “mourning a world they thought they lived in”

i thought i lived in a world where antisemitism was treated as terrible. where people cared about antisemitism as much as they cared about, say, sexism or homophobia or any other forms of racism

but they don’t. nobody fucking cares about the jews.

im so unbelievably tired of it. im tired of literal nazi propaganda and TEXTBOOK antisemitic caricatures, stereotypes, etc are regarded as normal. im tired of fully believing you could directly copy+ paste an excerpt from mein kampf on here and it would get hundreds or thousands of notes. im tired of being scared to post something like this because im scared ill lose my friends or people who follow me. i’m so scared to post this. i really really am.
