There we some nights where one just needed a post party snack. And tonight happened to be one of those nights. So as Emma entered the penthouse (shoes in hand so as not to wake anyone who might be sleeping), she bee-lined for the kitchen and the leftovers she knew had to be in there. 

Their new chef, while not quite as good as their one in Paris -- but then he was gorgeous on top of being amazing, was quite talented. She enjoyed experimenting with different things. Like cultural fusion. So if Emma was lucky, there might be some of the Japanese Style Street Noodles she prepared the night before still tucked in the back. Provided, of course, Henry hadn’t come by and gotten to them first.

Entering the kitchen, she turned on the light and was surprised to find she wasn’t alone. “Daddy....what are you doing awake?”

New City same job

Lilah had finally taken Wesley's advice after debating with herself about it for an hour. So she got herself out of the Los Angeles sewers and got her gut wound patched up, then packed up everything she owned and booked a red eye out of town.

That had been a few weeks ago now; since then she'd landed in New York City, Manhattan specifically and found herself an apartment on the upper east side. She'd also managed to get her old job back at the Manhattan branch of Wolfram and Hart.

She was still setting up her office and interviewing for assistants when she heard that Bartholomew Bass wanted to be added to her slowly growing new client list. It seemed that her reputation preceded her even across the country. She had of course told the temp the firm had filling in as her current assistant to add the Bass family to the top of her client list. One of the many things Lilah had learned in her many years at Wolfram and Hart was that you never refused a request from a man as important or as rich as Bartholomew Bass, he was the type of client that you went above and beyond to keep as a client.

An hour after sitting through the morning staff meeting Lilah was back in her office, finishing setting everything up just how she wanted it. She was in the middle of getting her desk in order when there was a loud knock on her office door. "Come in." She called out as she repositioned her computer again for the third time.

Evie: As a small child, Evie’s favorite candy was pixi stix; especially those giant, oversized ones. When she and Chuck would ditch their nannies and run off to the Zoo or FAO Schwartz or whatever, she would always come back with at least two of those.

Emma: Emma has never bought a piece of clothing ‘off the rack’. Between her aunt running Waldorf designs, their family friendship with Jenny Humphrey, and the Bass last name...all of Emma’s clothes have been designed and/or altered just for her.
