"Dan, when have I ever done a nine to five?" She asked with an amused smile on her lips and she shook her head. "You know what's going on with me, working on new designs, being an amazing mom to my kids, having Chuck as a husband, life is good."
Dan leaned back in his chair, lifting his face toward the rare Manhattan sunshine as he took a sip of his iced coffee. "Man, I forgot what it felt like to actually see the sun in this city—thought we were permanently stuck in that gray, gloomy filter," he said with a chuckle. He glanced at his friend across the table, shaking his head as he tore a piece off his sandwich. "Anyway, enough about the weather—what’s new with you? Last time we talked, you were, what, plotting world domination or just trying to survive your nine-to-five?" Dan smirked, stretching his arms out before adding, "Either way, I’m sure there’s a story in there." @ggstarterblog

"Not often of the good weather, but sometimes I just leave the country if I need a good vacation." Blair smiled and looked at Mary
"Just soak in on the sun, and stop being a sour puss... How often do we get good weather in march?" Mary said looking around the fancy boat they were on, taking everything in as the music blasted and people walked around them. @ggstarterblog

"Jenny Humphrey, hi there." Blair gave her a smile and raised a brow when she saw the broken heel and put her empty drink down on a nearby table. "Come with me."
Jenny had barely stepped onto the yacht when disaster struck—her heel snapped with a sharp crack, sending her stumbling forward. She caught herself just in time, but now she was left holding a broken shoe and an even more broken sense of dignity.
" Shit, that's just perfect" she muttered under her breath as someone seemed to approach her, but she couldn't quite make out who it was yet, or if they were approaching to mock her or help.

Blair rolled her eyes, but a smile, a small one, came onto her lips and she looked at Dan. "Holding grudges does nothing for me, Humphrey." She said. "Besides given what you've written about and what Kate Keller wrote about, I'm saying the latter was worse, especially since she was a teacher after all."
Dan looked at Blair. "Okay, no offense, but who are you and what have you done with Blair Waldorf? I was expecting you to still hate me for everything."

"Oh well that's exciting!" Blair smiled at her. "Are you and that Jasper kid doing anything to celebrate?"
"I am very much loving Manhattan and I've been here for almost a year. April 27th I'll have been here for a year, which I honestly can't believe to be honest."

"Hmm, would have been something to see actually." Blair admitted with a smile.
Hanna grinned, twirling her straw in her drink. "Oh, Blair, if we had teamed up in high school? Total world domination. Queen B and HBIC running the show—Manhattan wouldn’t have known what hit it."

"That's actually perfect, Hanna." Blair smiled. "Damn I wish I knew you in high school, the trouble we could have caused together would have been iconic."
Hanna laughed, intrigued. "Okay, now that is iconic. But what do we even write? ‘Sorry your date was so boring you had to resort to practically fornicating in public. Hope the next one has at least some stamina.' Too much? Or just the right amount of petty?"

"Nate, if I've done it then I can't judge you, Serena, Chuck, Jenny or Dan for it. Everyone else, I can judge for it." She smiled at him and laughed. "Don't even get me started on cancel culture and how fucking pathetic it is."
"Nate, you were the most classy out of all of us." She reminded him with a smile. "I don't think they're worse than us, I think they're afraid to be worse than us, actually."

"You know, it's been years since I've been in high school, but I love that people still want to be on my VIP list an not my shit list." Blair laughed. "Let's send her a drink with a note." She suggested.
"Oh don't worry Hanna, I have a feeling you'll be one of the people that'll never have to feel my wrath." Blair said and she meant it. There was so little people in Manhattan that Blair felt like she could let her guard down around and Hanna was one of them. "Let's pray for that poor girl." She laughed.

"Yeah? That's really good." Blair said with a smile and looked at him. "Look I get it, but you aren't Gossip Girl anymore and that's important."
"You know, I'm actually feeling good, for once." Dan said and looked at Blair. "I know I shouldn't because Gossip Girl is still this looming entity but I do."

"I think horrible is sort of an understatement for how I was, but I get your point." She looked at her friend and laughed. "Oh please, high school me would have ended and put a bunch of them in exile by now."
"Oh we were horrible Blair, you know this." Adrianna laughed. "Not as bad as them though."
