ok. ok so i AM intrested in the uhh the oracles stuff!! however everytime you explain its a lot of text and i cant really focus on it,,SO explain as much as u can in as little text as possible? please!!

No problem!! I will explain using bullet points :) Let me know if you want anything else explained btw I will be happy to tell you all about them!!!!

MANHATTAN ORACLE (Our Lady of the Seven Horns)

Perhaps the most famous of all the known living oracles (as of 2512, which is when the story takes place)

lives inside of the Statue of Liberty and wears a similar crown (the seven horns!!)

Doesn’t get outside very often because she’s stuck on Liberty Island (the island the statue is on) most of the time. Because of this she’s very pale and sickly looking

When she dies she will return to the womb of the Statue, meaning she will be put in a coffin by her devoted followers and placed alongside the previous Oracles of Manhattan in the center of the Statue of Liberty.

Most of the time she uses her prophetic abilities to predict weather and communicate long distances through dreams.

CHICAGO ORACLE (The Angel’s Vessel)

Gained her prophetic ability through eating an Angel’s flesh as a starving girl lost on the vast prairie.

Has a cultish group of acolytes, all dedicated to deciphering her prophecies. She doesn’t really like them but keeps them around to mess with them a little.

Delivers prophecies through extremely cryptic metaphor and song.

Tried to steal Joseph’s golden tooth once. She’s kind of weird for that one NGL but a girlboss nonetheless I have to say. She loves to steal.

After she ate the Angel’s flesh, its nutrients were distributed throughout her body and she became blessed (cursed?) with visions only Angels were meant to see.

LOUISIANA ORACLE (Seer of the Delta)

Lives with her sisters and nieces on the delta of the Mississippi river, around where New Orleans used to be.

Had her abilities since birth. She can understand what stories the bloodsoaked soil of the world have to tell. She can speak the language that mycelium networks speak.

Because of this she has a unique view of rotting and death. She views it as a blessing, to return to the Earth and cycle through infinite amounts of God’s creatures.

She holds beliefs similar to that of African-American Protestants, but also believes in reincarnation through this rotting. She believes Heaven and reincarnation is one and the same, and Hell is to be cut off from this cycle.

The oldest of all three known major oracles. She can’t wait to die though so she isn’t too bothered by this.

Loves it when people visit :] she will kiss you on the forehead and have you over for dinner if you help her with household chores

Mixed up Manhattan is doing a special production to raise awareness for the Std problem that isn’t talked enough about in Gotham.

Sure it’s gone down since Redhood started taking care of the girls in his neck of the woods but it’s still an unspoken problem!

So how else to spread awareness and raise funds than to do some raunchy theater songs?

Jason is all for the production!

It’s for a good cause and he’s really beginning to love this acting thing.

He just wished that he remembered to not piss off babs before the production was done.

Now his rendition of Noel’s Lament from ride the cyclone is trending.

Several million people have now seen his ass in lingerie and fishnets.

Minor/side character headcanons/possible prompts for the soul.

Lee fletcher is an exact replica of Apollo in his modern form dazzling white teeth, shiny straight blonde hair and sky blue eyes. In contrast, Will Solace is an exact replica of the Apollo you see in the statues of old with curly blonde hair with a rounder more youthful appearance.

Luke had a suspicion of Chris being a son of Hermes what he did not know was Chris inherited more of his father's psychopomp abilities rather than his domain of travel.... While yes, minos and his curse on the labyrinth is what drove Chris to madness the screaming souls of the damned trapped in the maze did help much either.

Katie Gardner and Meg McCaffrey are praised for their abilities of growing plants. Many often Overlook their sister Miranda who has their mother's ability to bring forth the famine and has the ability take life away from her plants in her bouts of sadness just as much as she can give them life.

Children of Apollo have a fear of snakes. Athena's spawn have a fear of spiders and while they'll never admit it Ares children have always been wary of closed spaces.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare was an only child despite this she was often overlooked. when she took the title of Oracle she did not know what that entailed. She didn't know at the time that it would give her in honorary family of siblings but who is she to complain.

At the end of the titan war Will was at a loss he was now the oldest of his siblings yet he had no knowledge on how to be the responsible older brother. Rachel also has no knowledge on how to be an honorary older sister so maybe they can learn together.

When she was younger Clarisse loved when they learned of the iliad she had a copy she would read whenever she was bored. She looked up to and respected Achilles she aspired to be just like him, a strong warrior able to take on anyone. Her only problem was she couldn't understand how he could turn away from a war how he could back down from a fight. When she returns from the Battle of Manhattan she still cannot understand but alas she made the same mistakes as him just liked she had hopped as a child. If in her anger she burned her copy of The Iliad who are we to judge her.

Rick is known to mirror myths a lot (Silena-Clarisse and Patroclus-Achilles, Polyphemus' cave, Hercules' labors, etc) He could and SHOULD have mirrored the Trojan war in HOO.

Let me set the scene. Gaea doesn't pop up until the last couple books. It's easy to be scared of something that is mentioned but not seen, which in my opinion, is why Gaea in the HOO books just wasn't scary enough.

So the antagonists in the first few books are the Giants working under Gaea's orders. Percy is kidnapped by them and given to the Romans in the hope that the Greeks and the Romans will go batshit crazy in a fight and forget all about the prophecy of the seven and destroying Gaea or whatever.

Camp Halfblood is fully ready for war. As soon as they find out (through an oracle or smth idk) that the Romans exist and they have Percy, not even Chiron can stop them. Percy is the hero of the Battle of Manhattan, of course, and the hero mentioned in the last great prophecy. He's like their modern Aristos Achaion.

Meanwhile, the Romans have no clue what's going on. There's this guy he's funny, he has no memories, he just shows up at their wolf goddess and trains and gets sent to them. Cool.

Juno can't stand to see New Rome be attacked. Whether or not they would win is a whole different story. So she plucks Jason from CJ and brings them to the Greeks just for some sort of a balance.

This mirrors the Trojan war in the sense that Troy was a fortified city, so is New Rome with tons of forts and walls. Aeneas' lineage went on to be Remus and Romulus, the founders of Rome. And Helen of Troy was stolen from the Greeks.

Anyway so there's that conflict, but at the same time Camp Halfblood is getting ready to attack, Jason, Piper and Leo get sent on a quest to rescue Hera who has been captured by Porphyrion and Enceladus.

On the way, Jason starts to regain his memory a little bit, though he doesn't know everything yet. He's still super conflicted with everything. A pretty girl thinks they were dating, Leo says they were best friends, Annabeth says the Romans are enemies. But whom should he really believe?

Piper's whole arc through the first book could be about how she's the daughter of the goddess of beauty, she wrongly assumes her fake crush on Jason was her mom's fault. And she's learned so much bad stuff about her mom from myths, she outright rejects feminity and anything remotely girly at first but then slowly she gets to know Aphrodite isn't as bad as some myths make her out to be. Bonding and shit bc why should Poseidon be the only present godly parent?

Leo, meanwhile, has no idea he can essentially fire bend in the first book. His arc could be about discovering his mother's death was his fault, slightly and coming to terms with it with the help of his friends.

Reyna on the Roman's side is freaking out bc Octavian wants to go to war with the Greeks who are close to attacking them, there's a strange dude who keeps trying to pick fights with gods, a horse girl and not to mention monsters won't fucking DIE.

SON trio go on their quest to Alaska to kill Alcyoneus/ release Thanatos and things are getting clearer to them as well. Just when the Greeks are about to attack on CJ, Polybotes and the monsters attack as well. Somehow, both sides end up fighting the monsters together.

They're not friends, but they're not enemies either, bc Percy is reunited with his gf and Jason is returned to his home.

The Roman senate and the Greeks somehow come to the same conclusions- that a quest needs to go to their ancient lands. Over the next few months the work of the Argo II commences.

Things seem smooth for a while. But Gaea grows restless. She poisons Octavian and manipulates him through dreams and stuff like Kronos did to Luke. As is the nature of most Roman emperors, Octavian overthrows Reyna and declares himself the leader of New Rome like his namesake Octavius Caesar. (HAHA! HISTORY PARALLEL BITCHES)

This puts the actual quest on hold bc the seven now need to find the Athena Parthenos to bring together the Greeks and the Romans and to stop Octavian's plan of trying to fuck as much shit up as possible.

Reyna, Nico and say idk, Grover, are the ones to deviate from the quest and bring the statue to USA again. But the Seven are still very much in Europe after rescuing Nico.

Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus which helps close the Doors of Death, except this time since Nico isn't there, Hazel has to take on control over ghosts and the dead in the House of Hades and leading up to it. The powers of mist, in my opinion, should have gone to Piper since charmspeaking is a lot like bending the mist verbally.

Piper's arc through the third and fourth book is starting to discover herself and with the help of her mother, figuring out she doesn't like Jason romantically like she thought she did.

Hazel's arc is gaining control over what she once was (dead). She's jealous her dad was there more for Nico than her, but she pushes past it and never lets her anger and grudges get the better of her which is like breaking boundaries for children of Hades/Pluto.

Frank's arc in HOH was really cool, I like that. So no change to that.

Jason, poor guy is still very much confused about everything really. He's used to being the leader, he feels lost in the large group. He has his moments to shine ofc (please take away his excess amounts of head injuries), but he starts to feel inferior, which is where Leo helps him bc the guy knows what that's like.

Anyway, in the absence of Percy and Annabeth, Jason has to take charge. He discovers he doesn't really like it. That's not what he was meant for even though he had greatness thrust upon him at a very young age.

His BOO arc is earlier this time and takes place throughout HOH and BOO. He's content with himself, even if he isn't with anyone. HE'S THE ONE THAT GETS SENT TO OGYGIA!!!

And Calypso eventually does fall for him bc he's smart, nice, and just an overall swell guy. But he helps her to realize that she can be content in herself as well. And he promises her that he'll help her.

Show me Leo, Jason and Percy trying to think of ways of helping the goddess.

In any case. BOO could have been like Iliad pt 2 also known as the Odyssey. It takes them the whole book just to get to Athens. Meanwhile, they've understood that Gaea is the main main villain. She's even raised some of the other primordials against them.

Percy and Annabeth already saw Tartarus, and then there's Oceanus who makes their travel much harder than necessary. Something something about how they get tossed all over the place and somehow manage to gather all the correct ingredients for the potion (i forgot the name lol) on their small adventures in the different places. In the end they finally make it to Athens. Except this time, there's only a few giants there bc they killed the rest before.

Annabeth and Percy are taken hostage, like it happens in the books, but PERCY WILLINGLY GIVES UP HIS BLOOD TO RAISE GAEA RATHER THAN LETTING ANNABETH GET HURT BC OF HIS FATAL FLAW LIKE ATHENA TOLD HIM WOULD HAPPEN EVENTUALLY!!

The Gods DON'T SHOW UP PLEASE!! That was so lameee. Why even do the whole quest if their mommies and daddies were going to show up to help them????

So while Percy and Annabeth are battling the remaining few Giants, Leo, Piper, Hazel and Frank go up against Gaia herself. In the old myths four titans held Ouranos down while Kronos chopped his essence up. In the same way, they battle Gaia away from her turf in the air, keeping her distracted enough. All these demigods are needed because she's a primordial dammit!

Jason, my guy, comes in a clutch, chops her to pieces and sends her essence to Tartarus!!

The world is saved, the end!

Note : I'm not going to lie, I thought about this for a long time. I picked Phillipa Soo from Hamilton because she's perfect for the role. I SWEAR THAT IF THEY CHOOSE ANYONE ELSE, WE ARE GOING TO HAVE A PROBLEM! DON'T THEY SEE THE POTENTIAL?

After the battle, like everyone else, you mourn for your lost. Specifically, Luke Castellan.

Sure, he was the traitor who betrayed your trust, caused the death of friends and siblings, and nearly brought the world to ruin by aiding Kronos. But before all that, he was your brother.

Your loving, funny, patient, older brother, the one you always confided in. He gave you affection and encouragement when you needed it, and for a time, the anchor in your fucked up demigod life.

As much as you want to forget him, you can't. You loved him dearly.

While going through the belongings he left in the Hermes Cabin, you come upon a picture of his mother.

When you first asked Luke about her, the grim expression on his face was enough for you to never ask about her again.

Until he opened up to you, saying she was cursed by the spirit of Delphi and this made him run away from home.

You thought of Rachel O' Dare, the red headed girl who is now Apollo's Oracle, and what it means for May Castellan.

Is she okay? Is her curse lifted anyhow? Is she aware of what happened?

Then it hit you. You can visit her and see for yourself, but you didn't want to go alone.

When you suggested it to Annabeth, she was hesitant.

After all, she had her own painful memories in that house; particularly May's glowing green eyes and manic behavior.

However, she knew it was necessary. It will give her the complete closure she needed with Luke, as will you.

As expected, Annabeth told Percy, Thalia, and Grover about it. While they were doubtful that it would end well, they agreed to come along for both your sakes.

Just as you were about to leave Camp Half-Blood, you are surprised to see some of your siblings waiting by Thalia's tree.

"Leaving without us?" Travis asks with a smirk as you approach.

"May we go with you? We promise we won't trash her house." Connor adds.

"What are you guys—" Travis cuts you off, the usual mischief in his eyes replaced with solemnity.

"Luke was our brother too." He says, walking closer to pull you in an embrace. "So, we're not going to let you go through this alone. Got it?"

"Excuse me, we're here!" Percy remarks, sarcastic. "We're also supporting her.”

"Do you hear anyone, guys?" Connor asks, feigning confusion. "Because, I don't."

"Why, you son of a bitch—"

"True, but that's not the point. Let's go!" Connor interjects. The rest try to muffle their laughs, including you.

You arrived at the Castellan residence— a once-beautiful home with white fences and a front lawn. You can almost imagine Luke as a baby, carefree and happy with his mother and Hermes.

Oh, how that poor child turned out.

It was you who knocked on the door, with everyone else on standby. A woman, looking lost and broken, answered with a meek "H-Hello?"

She wasn't as Annabeth had described, but she wasn't the youthful, beautiful woman from Luke's pictures either.

The sight of her alone made you wanted to march to Olympus and shove your foot down your dad's ass.

Nevertheless, she invited you into her home. You frown upon seeing the mess, especially the Kool-Aid and moldy sandwiches in Tupperware containers.

As you, Annabeth, and Thalia explain what happened; you braced for a violent reaction. Instead, she just cries.

Without thinking, you got emotional and pulled her into a hug, apologizing frantically for something you didn't even fully understand. Was it guilt for Luke's downfall? Anger at the gods for the suffering they caused innocent mortals like like his mom?

You immediately pushed those feelings aside, focusing on the broken woman who, like so many others, had lost a child whose life was just beginning.

The others started to help around the house while you console her— cleaning up the mess, fixing the lights, plumbing, even mowing the lawn and painting the fence. You had no idea where they got the supplies from, and when you asked Travis, he just winked.

Percy was having a blast with the water, Annabeth had to calm him down.

May wept once more, this time from overwhelming happiness. Her home wasn't the same as before, but it's getting there. It'll be better with time, like her.

She managed to gain composure after a while, and thanked all of you for coming.

"I'm sorry, I don't have anything to offer right now." She says, mustering a smile. "But if you need assistance, don't hesitate to come over."

As you all drove off, you could hear the neighbors complain about missing cleaning house supplies. Annabeth turns to your brother with a frown.

"Travis!"

"What? We needed it!"

Chiron was pleased to see how it turned out. Due to your initiative, he proposed an idea. Every fallen demigod must be honored, not only by burial rites, but their mortal families shall receive visitations and gifts if they choose to accept it.

The program is ongoing, and he specifically asked you to handle it.

Wow, too much work with no pay but okay.

May occasionally gives you and your siblings gifts and generously welcomes demigods in need, offering them food and shelter during their missions. She even entrusted you with a baby picture of Luke, a cherished keepsake among your belongings.

Then one night, Hermes visited you in your dreams. You've met him before, but this time he seem different. Happier. At peace.

He expresses his gratitude, and offered you anything you wanted.

"I want to punch you. Not as a god, as a human."

You expected him to smite you on the spot, but Hermes just laughs in amusement and agrees.

When you swung, you transferred all your pent-up emotions into your fist. It landed squarely on his perfect jaw, and you couldn’t help but smirk as he fell to the ground.

"You're stronger than I thought." He says.

"Well, I had to be."

Hermes’ smile falters at your words, and awkward silence followed.

"He's happy, dearest. Luke… He's in Elysium with the others."

Unfazed by the bruise forming on his jaw, he presses a kiss on your head.

“He's fine now. And you will be too.”

“I know.”

The next day, you woke up with the biggest smile on your face, gloating that you got to punch Hermes himself.

You're pretty sure that most of your siblings are now praying to him for the exact same thing.

I wish to use this medium to elaborate *cough rant cough* on a fact everyone should be familiar with by now:

Nico changes with every book he appears in.

We all must've noticed that the Nico di Angelo of The Titan's Curse is not the Nico of The Tower of Nero, and without a doubt, the Nico of The Tower of Nero will not be the same as the Nico of The Sun And The Star.

So you may argue, “Character development and everything—no character stays the same throughout a series.” Then I'll say, “Percy's change isn't as rapid and obvious as Nico's. Why not? He's been through what Percy wouldn't have survived.”

Side note before I'm called mistaken: You are free to convince me that Percy Jackson would've had no trouble losing his closest family at a young age, roaming the labyrinth with a vengeful ghost as a guide, believing that due to his parentage and sexuality he would never be accepted by anyone, and—above all—going through Tartarus willingly and all by himself.

Nico's changes between books are so vivid and regular that I can give a name to him for every book he's appeared in.

The Hidden Oracle: Healing Nico, all titles mentioned above repeated, boyfriend of Will Solace.

The Tower of Nero: Nico On The Brink Of A Relapse, founder of the trogdylytes, savior of Camp Half-Blood and New York.

The Sun And The Star: Nico On A Mission But At The Same Time Hopelessly In Love With Will Solace, rescuer of Iapetus, ghost king (👑), zombie dude, lord of darkness, future husband of William Andrew Solace (💍).

Try the same with Percy or mostly anyone else, you won't get such results.

See? Nico has gone through too much to stay stable. The changes make a lot of sense. The only hope now is for these changes to lead to his eventual happiness.

With Kristen I was thinking like.... Maybe she would be Jennifer Drips, because it is Ally's charcater so there is the connection. However sneaky women who works alone doesn't feel very Kristen.

However I can kinda see Kirsten being Kirk Blade (he wouldnt actually die here) They both seem chaotic and I think Kristen would like his chain weapon. Also he died in cannon and Kristen has died tons of times!

Riz can be Greg Stocks, I just think secret agent works well with him

Secondly, Jaune would arrive between the events of Sea of Monsters and Titan's curse, however, Crocea Mors is lost and doesn't get found till much later.

He'd be saved by Percy and Annabeth while Grovers at Westover Hall with Bianca and Nico.

As soon as Jaune is taken to Chiron and Mr. D, Dionysus quickly realizes that Jaune isn't from this world and calls a meeting of the calls since Jaune isn't exactly a "Human" of Earth.

Let's just say that Jaune quickly meets all of the gods, well Minus Hades but that's an... interesting meeting for later.

Jaune is tasked with being both the combat instructor at CHB and also made to do some adventures by both the Oracle and the gods themselves, so he's at the camp for a while but leaves for an adventure a few days before Percy, Annabeth, and Thalia go to Westover Hall.

Of course with Jaune there, there are changes to the PJO timeline and while some events remain the same, others will be different.

Jaune would stay all the way until the end of The Last Olympian.

While at CHB, Jaune proves himself to be a great asset, not only as a teacher, but a fighter, since he has Aura, his Semblance, and has to fight Grimm as well as keep up with people faster and stronger than him, he's one of the best fighters, next to Percy, Clairess, and a few other campers.

However, a certain few are a bit wary of him since he bears a similar resemblance to a certain ex-camper...

I cannot get over how perfect the casting was for the show as a whole, but I want to highlight how perfect the gods were.

I can see Lin Manuel Miranda visiting May, checking up on her, while she waits for Luke to come home.

I see his defeated expression when his son dies. How he clearly blames himself

I can see him blaming Annabeth and Thalia for not changing his mind

I can see him talking to George and Martha, and helping Percy sneak out of camp

I can see Jay Duplass buying Hazel colored pencils, and fumbling about trying to raise Nico.

I can see him with his hands over his ears trying to ignore Nico’s nagging to get him to join the battle of Manhattan.

I can see his face when his Mother in Law moves in and tries to make everyone eat cereal.

I can see his anger as Maria DiAngelo is murdered. And How he just barely manages to save his children.

This is the man who cursed the oracle in rage and pain. Saying no one could take her place as long as his kids were outcasts

I can see him lock up the boy his son is crushing on, and being beaten up by him five minutes later.

I can send Timothy Omundson watching monitors, keeping tabs on Leo and his siblings, wishing he knew how to talk to them.

I can see him building mechanical animals and visiting Calypso.

I can see him saving the head of his son’s pet dragon. So proud that he was able to tame it and put it back together.

See him falling in love with her

See him still in love with her.

He tells Percy that he’s his favorite son.

He lets his home be destroyed because his son asked him to come help.

I can see his face light up when he thinks Paul’s last name is Blowfish.

I can imagine Adam Copeland taking his anger out on Clarisse. Demanding that she take his revenge. Blaming her. Demanding she earn her keep.

I can see him with a grenade pen, bullying terrified kids into giving Frank a promotion, and the look on his and everyone else’s face when amnesiac Percy says that he’s pretty sure he’s beat him up before.

We’ll never get to see Lance Reddik turn Thalia into a tree.

Or him fall for a movie star and have two children with her.

We’ll never see him promise one of them to his wife as a peace offering.

But can’t you just imagine the look on his face when he offers Percy immortality, and in return gets told to pay his child support.

and Jason Mantazoukus is literally Dionysus. There is no question.

This is the man who eats popcorn and watches drama go down between campers

Genuinely distraught when he loses Castor. He asked Percy to protect Pollux cause he can’t stand the thought of losing another child

The god who refuses to acknowledge or learn anyone’s names because knowing their names makes it more difficult when he watches them go off and die

who doesn’t like Percy or demigods like him because they remind him of Theseus.

Who helps mend Chris’s minds after he goes mad in the maze.

Who pretends not to care because he cares too much.

The gods can change their form and look like whatever the heck they want, but it takes true talent for an actor to fill those shoes so perfectly. I love it.

As for sending me to Camp half-blood, Apollo decided to keep me on a short leash and under surveillance and I... [Kore wrinkled up as if she had eaten a lemon]. I fell down my daily solangelo rabbit hole and thought of smth. We all know how Will became head counselor really young after the battle of manhattan, but we seem to be forgetting that Annabeth was also head counselor supper young because she had been there the longest. STAY WOTH ME THIS ISNT GOING WHRE YOU THINK I PROMISE. I feel like after the battle of manhattan Will asked Annabeth for advice because she’s a smartass, a badass, and the aforementioned being a young head counselor. I feel like She didn’t really know what to tell him because it was second nature to her but she told him to be strong for his siblings and be “the adult” because idk I feel like someone told Will that and it manifested somehow and that’s why we got that one scene in the hidden oracle. All in all to say that I think he asked her for help and she didn’t help him much because of the differences in rise to the top and all she really told him was to be strong which he did but it resulted in extreme survivors guilt and never really talking about his feelings and issues. Like he’s just one big bottle of pain and trauma that nobody talks about
