it was last may I think and I was, for a time, involved in a fantasy high roleplay, where I was playing as Ivy...and completely impulsively, I had Ivy tell Tracker her hair was cool and then they started flirting and then Ivy asked Tracker to a party I think??

I played Ivy so heavily head canoned it's just funny to me. she was so lesbian, she was so borderline, and she multiclassed into being a druid of Ankarna 😭

she also had like a history of knowing Garthy because they took care of her when she was younger (yes she used to live in Leviathan)

and the dynamic was sort of like...they were both really impulsive and thought the other was pretty and were like "let's like go out together" and sort of as time went on, it became this thing of them teaching each other about their backgrounds which were extremely different, but somehow ended up with them having a lot of common behaviors, the way we were playing them. I don't remember the Tracker side of it very well because it's been a minute but on Ivy's side there was a lot of learning kindness and connection with nature, and learning about how religion can be a positive thing, even if Ivy hadn't had very good experiences with religion after moving to Elmville

I do remember they both kind of taught each other about how being impulsive can go wrong too

overall it definitely just started off as a bit and then developed into a crack ship that I never fully get off my mind

maybe a hot take but "rowdy" isn't intended to be slur adjacent at all its a class based insult regarding behavior seen as inappropriate for high status individuals. The Gotch family are bankers, not adventurers, because they dont get their hands dirty. Max is a "rowdy" because he does get his hands dirty (literally and figuratively). It being a slur or a high society way of calling someone gay like saying he's 'fruity' or 'limp wristed' was a funny joke but some of yall are missing the class based subtext of a term coined by goddamned Brennan Lee Mulligan and its driving me nuts.
