Irodori Sakura Release Lesbian Doujinshi '100% Ice Drop'

On February 5, Idodori Sakura, Irodori Comic's LGBTQ label, published Yuri doujinshi 100% Ice Drop in English digitally. It is written by Pikachi, also known as Pikachi Oui, author of Our Teachers Are Dating.

100% Ice Drop is the second of a four-part series that began with Zero-Distance Snow Love, which Irodori published last November. The series follows Mana, a young woman who just began a relationship with Yuki, a magical "snow woman."

The publisher describes the second doujinshi:

Recently, Yuki has been changing the flavor of her snow every day, and Mana is worried for Yuki. How will Mana let Yuki know...?

Although the first two issues in the series are not explicit, they contain passionate depictions of Mana and Yuki kissing and embracing each other, and so are recommended for older audiences. The third issue, Energy Charge, is available for English pre-order and is an R18 release.

Zero-Distance Snow Love was initially published by Pikachi for Comiket 93 in December 2017.

Pikachi, also known as Pikachi Oui, is a Japanese Yuri manga artist known for her series Our Teachers Are Dating, which is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. Pikachi has contributed to the Syrup, Parfair, Chocolat, and Macaron Idol Yuri anthologies. They are well known for their doujinshi, which includes stories about Madoka Magica and Lyrocis Recoil, as well as original works.

i was eating dinner and watching the ~nostalgic memories of paris~ cooking video on the m-m-m youtube channel and noticed that at six seconds in, there is sd mana holding something a bit... peculiar. i know this is meant to be cute andwhatnot but when i tell you i nearly screamed with laughter after noticing.

Back in my distant youth (6 years old), I lived on an old spanish style 2 story wooden house with a wide balcony. Every morning I'd go up there and walk the beams. Must've scared my grandma and uncle silly, yelling at me to get down from there. I never fell. Ever. “how long do we have to wait for?” your boyfriend asked tiredly, staring at the time from his seat at the table

“about five minutes,” you mused from the seat next to him

“wake me up in five minutes, then,” draken requested, sleepily placing his head onto his arms before quickly falling asleep

you could only chuckle as you silently agreed, lovingly gazing at your attractive boyfriend as you waited for the timer to ring

the more you stared at him, the more you started to notice and admire his sharp, handsome features and subtle imperfections

“i love you, ken,” you mumbled, leaning down to kiss draken when he suddenly awoke in confusion

“what the hell’s burning?”

it took you a few seconds before you processed his words and realized what was happening

“the apple pie!” you shouted, about to run to the oven when draken protectively stepped in front of you and made his way over to the kitchen

“you forgot the timer, didn’t you?” your boyfriend stated more than asked, cautiously throwing the apple pie that was currently on fire into the sink and extinguishing it

your apologetic smile was the only answer draken needed, making him sigh in exasperation as he turned to you with a glare

“you’re so lucky that i love you,” draken remarked, sighing once again as he got his keys from his pocket. “all right, let’s go buy something from that bakery that you like so much”

draken had no time to react as you unexpectedly wrapped your arms around him, staring up at your boyfriend with a cheerful smile

mirroring this sentiment, you could do nothing but sigh as you helped chifuyu clear the kitchen and put away various baking ingredients

once you were finished, you couldn’t help but glance at your disheartened boyfriend as he washed the dough-covered bowls and spoons from today’s failed baking attempt

“what’s wrong, chifuyu?” you asked gently, locking your arms around his waist and placing your head on his back in a reassuring manner

“nothing. just feels like i wasted your time,” he mumbled in frustration. “it was my idea to bake cookies, too. took us an entire hour, and i ruined them”

“chifuyu, we could be staring at a wall all day, and i’d still have a good time because i’m with you”

“who are you, me?” chifuyu playfully scoffed in response to your awful flirting

you decided to ignore your boyfriend’s teasing, humming a random song as you waited for him to finish washing the dishes

“damn teaspoon, where did i go wrong?” chifuyu questioned quietly, indignantly glaring at the offending spoon in his hand

looking over his shoulder, your initial confusion was soon replaced with sudden understanding and total amusement

“chifuyu, that’s a tablespoon,” you explained while trying not to laugh

“yeah, i know. isn’t teaspoon short for tablespoon?”

“chifuyu, it’s teaspoon as in t-e-a, not the single letter”

“oh,” was your boyfriend’s flustered response as you began to loudly giggle, no longer able to contain your laughter. “well, that explains a lot”

“wow!” luna and mana remarked, their eyes completely focused on the plate of colourful macarons on the dining room table

seeing this, you couldn’t help but chuckle as you assembled the remaining few macarons that you and mitsuya had been working on before he left to finish cooking dinner

“nee-chan,” mana quietly spoke from the chair beside you. “when can we eat the macarons?”

“after dinner,” mitsuya immediately replied from the kitchen. “i don’t want you three ruining your appetites. dinner should be ready soon, anyway”

“after dinner,” you repeated with a smile, shooting your boyfriend a look of amusement

“okay!” the two girls agreed, patiently waiting for their brother to finish cooking as you put away the plate of macarons for later

“you know, nee-chan. i’ve noticed that nii-chan only makes fancy dinners and desserts whenever you come over to visit,” luna mused absentmindedly, failing to notice the subtle look of panic that was now present on mitsuya’s face

“r-really?” you asked in total surprise, glancing over at your blushing boyfriend

“does that mean if nii-chan marries her, nee-chan could live here forever, and we’ll get yummy food, too?” mana added

“that’s right!” luna cheerfully confirmed. “don’t deny it nii-chan, i’ve seen your wedding dress designs”

and while luna and mana began to happily converse about your and mitsuya’s future wedding and marriage, you couldn’t help but start to smile at the thought of actually marrying mitsuya

“m-maybe sometime in the future, okay?” your boyfriend said nervously, trying to appear calm and indifferent. “babe, c-can you help me bring these to the table?”

with a hasty nod, you hurried to help mitsuya, your boyfriend unable to meet your gaze as he walked past you to place some of the food on the table

“sometime in the future, huh?” you quietly whispered to yourself, fighting back another lovestruck smile

baking with mikey included you having to pay more attention to your disastrous boyfriend than to the actual dessert that you were trying to bake

if mikey wasn’t busy making a mess of the kitchen, he was busy testing your patience by eating all the ingredients meant for the cake

“mikey, stop eating the frosting!” you demanded as you threateningly glared at him. “how am i supposed to decorate the cake for tonight’s party if you keep eating it?!”

your boyfriend only pouted in response, reluctantly stepping away from the bowl of frosting before moving to stand next to you as you huffed in annoyance

“babe, relax. the party isn’t for another two hours. we’ll have plenty of time to make more frosting if we run out,” mikey tried to reason with a grin

“you mean i’ll have plenty of time,” you retorted before letting out a tired sigh. “sorry, i’m just stressed. we haven’t seen everyone in a long time, so this party needs to be perfect”

humming in understanding, mikey decided to finally stop bothering you, choosing to stay out of your way as he watched you skillfully cut up the strawberries needed for the cake’s decoration

“by the way, you have some frosting on your face,” mikey stated

“where?” you asked with a curious tilt of your head

“right about here,” he replied, leaning closer to gently kiss you

pleasantly surprised, you made no effort to reject your boyfriend’s act of affection as he stealthily gathered a few strawberries from the bowl before breaking away from you

“okay, i love you. bye. call me if you need any help!”

realizing what had just happened, your cheeks began to heat up in embarrassment for falling for such a trick

Day 1: Ghost Hotel

I literally just started doing these right now because apparently I like to live life on the edge. If I catch up and do the last one on time, I would like a cookie.

Anyway, decided to focus them all on Nene for a vauge through-line. Please read my long-fic because this ficlet somewhat relates to it. But only somewhat. Still, I need motivation to get back to it one of these days...

The guest wakes up uneasily, rubbing at her eyes groggily. Slipping out of bed and getting dressed, she has another bleary day ahead of her. She does some stretches, ties up her hair, and heads out.

A long corridor with a plush carpet greets her. There are some rabbit-like creatures bouncing by as she walks down, down, down.

It’s dark. She thinks it’s still storming, but she’s almost too tired to be sure. The further she descends, the less certain she becomes. It isn’t until she’s about to doze off once more that—

“Ah, Yashiro-san. Good evening.”

Nene snapped up immediately. She was standing in the dining area now. The one who greeted her was the other guest. The table has already been set up with tea and sweets. Nene’s gaze runs down the tower of macarons longingly before drifting back to the other guest.

The other guest who smiles every bit as elegantly and beckons her with a gloved hand. Nene goes to her immediately.

“Here a little early, aren’t you,” the other guest murmurs kindly. She pours another cup of tea, setting it before Nene. “Well, that’s fine. I do get lonely sometimes.”

“I... Thank you.” Sheepishly, Nene takes a sip from the cup with one hand and reaches for a macaron with the other. “What do you mean early?”

“Simply put that it’s not yet time for you to be here,” the other guest says with a wave of her hand. Even her gaze is beautiful in its shimmering gold shade. “I’m surprised the manager allowed this meeting.”

“The mana...” Nene blinks slowly. “Hanako-kun...?”

“You don’t even know what’s going on, do you?” The other guest looks at her beautifully but also...pityingly. “Are you perhaps still dreaming?”

“I’m not dreaming...” Nene nibbles on a macaron. The sweetness is almost too much to bear which is why she shoves it greedily into her mouth. “I’m here with you, aren’t I?”

“Do you remember my name, Yashiro-san?” the other guest asks.

“Of course I do, it’s...”

Her mind blanks.

Nene blinks once. She blinks twice.

The teacup in her hand suddenly weighs a ton. The macaron she swallowed now feels like lead. It’s as if...she is drowning.

“I-It... It’s... Y-Your name is... I-Is...”

She’s sinking. Deeper. Deeper. Deeper. Until.

The other guest gently takes her hands. Helps her set the teacup aside. Squeezes her trembling fingers.

“Nanamine Sakura.” The other guest smiles serenely. “It’s very nice to meet you, Yashiro-san.”

“O-Oh!” Nene exhaled a sigh of relief. “It’s nice to meet you too, Nanamine-san!”

“I do love meeting with you, truly,” Nanamine goes on. “But I’m afraid it is time for you to go. The manager is waiting. As is someone else.”

“H-Huh?”

“Someone else,” Nanamine repeats. “Someone else who waited for you as I wait for someone else.”

“What do you mean?” Nene asks. “Nanamine-san, you... You...”

Nanamine was no longer smiling.

“You look so lonely.”

Alas, she couldn’t get up to comfort the other guest. It was as if her very being was restricted to the chair.

“Nanamine-san? I-I can’t...”

Nanamine does get up. She places her gentle, doll-like hands on Nene’s shoulders. Nanamine wears such an apologetic frown.

And then, she shoves Nene back. Her chair goes through the floor with a splash.

along the same train of thought as that last post: the complex nature of magic (as honey knows it) is also why 95% of the time she doesn’t just twirl a little magic finger and boom, bam shama-lama bing: instant supply of goodies for her business. arcane energy, mana, whatever you want to call it within a fantasy setting, can simulate taste, texture, and substance well enough, but it will never taste quite the same as making the real thing. 

sure, someone looking to take the easy way around could just go the step further and enchant their food to taste as exceptional as someone might expect, but that misses the whole point as far as she’s concerned (and anyone sensitive to magic would probably be able to tell, no less). nor is it likely to be as nourishing, unless the caster goes out of their way to add the necessary reagents / factor them into their spell... at which point, it’s pretty much just easier, better, and more honest all around to just make the damned thing.

also also: eating a lot of / exclusively conjured food is probably... not good for you, as a whole. worse for non-magic folks, but just generally. not great. it’ll do in a pinch.

...which is exactly why I mentioned “~95% of the time”  — because, let’s be honest: you can’t always give your work, (even when you love it), 100% a hundred-percent of the time. corners, occasionally, get cut. 

and no, despite how much she doesn’t care for it, honey doesn’t exactly feel bad about occasionally taking the path of least resistance. 

be it the case of an especially busy day, a non-sufficient night of sleep or amount Emotional & Mental Stamina, or, (most commonly), a rude, overly-particular and demanding customer; there are some exceptions to the rule where she won’t pour her heart & soul & manual labor into every last macaron. c’est la vie.

Celyssena snaps her fingers and a sparkling tray appears, floating next to her. On it was an assortment of mana-pastries; macarons, cream puffs, cinnamon buns, and last but not least- cupcakes. 

“Oh I love cupcakes! I love them so much they tend to be what I conjure up out of thin air when people ask for a table.” She chuckles.
