Hip Hop, Be Bop - Man Parrish

This is a really solid electronic hip hop album from the early 80s that gives strong vibes that it was influenced by Kraftwerk. This has some really good drum machine programming, and I think its a Roland TR-808. Also, an interesting thing is the song Six Simple Synthesizers features Klaus Nomi on backing vocals. My favorite song is Techno Trax.

A-T-3 183 Two Sisters

Two Sister's was an electro/hip hop/hiNRG studio group produced by Raul A Rodriguez. According to Man Parrish the name Two Sisters wasn't derived from the two women who fronted the group but “There was the queen at the office, who said that me and Raul hung around each other so much it was like we were two sisters. Raul liked that, and the name Two Sisters became the name of the group,. Then Raul wanted to have Theresa Pesco in the group, because he wanted to “get with” her, and she brought a friend in who sang and bang we got a group: Two Sisters, but the two sisters weren’t "two girls," the two sisters were me and Raul!”

Raul A Rodriguez and Man Parrish were musical partners, they produced classics including Hip Hop Bee Bop and Boogie Down Bronx and High Noon. Below is the Disconet version of High Noon, Rodriguez often remixed for the DJ subscription service Disconet. In fact the labels Sugarscoop, Importe 12 and Disconet were all owed by Mike Wilkenson, he did the dirty on Rodriguez and Man Parrish by diddling them out of royalties. The pair even named one of their groups C.O.D. 'Cash On Demand' as they were living paycheck to paycheck

B-Boys Beware features the talents of MC G.L.O.B.E. (who clarifies this is a male space and B-Girls are invited only as the guests of B-Boys), it's considered an electro hip hop classic
