Btw devotional acts can and do sometimes look ridiculous. This is partially me gushing because I'm really proud of myself for today, I took the ENTIRE day so far to just do self care that I don't normally have the time/energy for as a devotional act to Aphrodite. This was a big deal!!

It also looked ridiculous though bc washing my face is a sensory issue, I hate water on only one part of my body and getting water in or near my eyes is terrible. So of course I ended up blindly grasping for a towel, eyes squeezed shut, muttering to Aphrodite about how she better feel loved and appreciated.

Sometimes witchcraft looks dumb and I enjoy it.

#josh talks #went out with friends and found these at a run down and extremely suspicious mall!!#i wasn't planning on buying anything but i saw these and just couldnt resist #didn't help that it was buy one get one half off #but four swords manga!!!! ive read it before but i am so happy to have it for myself #and majoras mask is my fav zelda game so i am stoked to have the other one too #im starting a collection of the zelda mangas! i have quite a few #i have ocarina of time in 2 separate books (i can't remember if theres more or not)#and then i have legendary editions that have minish cap/phantom hourglass and oracle of seasons/oracle of ages #and now these 2!#and i saw some loose twilight princess mangas but i actually had to stop at that point #it is so funny to me that majroas mask and alttp are combined into one yet four swords is the same size as those two combined lmao #i know the four swords games are just silly little co op games with little substance #but they actually have so much story telling potential????#i ranted about it to my roommate when i got home #and man i love my roommate they let me rant about zelda for like 2 hours when they really shouldve been working on stuff

i have my benefits of not being out as trans (which is. only one really but it is not being harassed because i dont attract attention) but it fucks with my sense of self

I saw Fight Club for the first time yesterday and to the best of my memory, this was the second time I consciously noticed Edward Norton in a movie (I have a bad memory for actor's names and faces, I may have seen him around but wouldn't know).

The first time was Primal Fear.

This makes Edward Norton the second most specific type cast in hollywood in my book (right after the actress who played cinderella's evil stepsister in like, three different adaptations).

#despite years of memes and being on the internet i somehow missed the Fight Club plottwist and I am insanely grateful for it #i'd need a rewatch to make a sure decision but after the first watch i feel like the message of radicalisation #is stronger when brad pitt and edward norton are just really toxic friends #and edward norton realizes how fucked up everything got when he's in way too deep and can't get out anymore #but a rewatch mind change my opinion once i have a better grasp how the plot twist influenced the story/theme before #anyway #fight club #primal fear #edward norton #fight club 1999 #very stoked to play edward norton bingo on american history x #i know my sample size is like two movies and edward norton is an extremely prominent actor #but the fact that he plays the same plottwist twice but once in reverse technically tickles me so much #director: i need someone to play this character with the hollywood version of DID-#casting director: man do i have the guy for you
