“The present.  People can learn and adapt and they can make mistakes before they realize what could come of them.  I think anything can be forgiven with the right path of atonement.  We are our hardest critics to please, but given slack we can become better and strive to keep going further instead of letting it hold us back.”

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Do they want children? 🐶Are they a cuddler? ⚔️ Are they protective of their partner?

He is still unsure as to whether or not he wants children.  There is probably a daydream deep in his subconscious that he will be a father one day but the times are hard to consider something like that.

While awake I don’t think he would engage in it on his own, he wouldn’t push his bed mate away either.  I think if he ever is the first one to initiate it, he is asleep.

Yes, he is protective of those close to him, sometimes to a point that it goes too far but he doesn’t want anyone hurt if it can be avoided.

abalone: what kind of situations compromise my muse emotionally

Not many things really compromise him emotionally.  He is good at hiding his emotions and keeping them locked down.  The worst of it would be things to play at his anger, if he is betrayed or made to be a fool especially in front of other knights would be the thing to set him off.

Winter Veil with the Aen’dyrs

The two Sin’dorei had a few days off around the holiday, giving Aria enough time to finish off the gift she had been working so hard on. For months, any time she had free, she went right back to work. And that was a difficult thing to do, seeing as she was always stationed with her brother. Finally, just a couple days before they would be sent out again, she finished his gift. It was her first big project after she learned how to blacksmith. Eventually, she would learn for intricate details. For now, however, she was pleased with her work and hoped Hayldrin would be, as well. Carefully, it was wrapped in a cloth, from the pommel to the tip of the blade and taken to the room her brother occupied. With a deep breath, she enters and calls out to him. “Hayldrin. I have something for you.” A big smile was on her face, warm and bright just as Quel’Thalas.

The wrapped blade was held out for him to take and reveal. Lyariah watched with anticipation, biting at her bottom lip as a nervous habit. “I hope you like it. It was my first real thing I crafted.” It was simple in it’s looks. A round, silver pommel atop a grip wrapped in brown leather, a simple silver guard, and a long blade. Already sharpened. “Happy Winter Veil, Hayldrin. I love you.”

94. Outlook on life?

“Realistic I guess.  Life is a mess, sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad.  Get too lost in either one and you are not going to be enjoying yourself as much as you possibly could.  Makes you more ready for the many things life could through at you with a balanced approach as well.  Hasn’t let me down, yet.”

Golden Lotus: Would your character be willing to sacrifice something dear to them (A loved one, a cherished heirloom, or even their own life) for what they consider to be the 'greater good' (or evil, if they float that way)

The knight thought for a good long moment, his gaze growing dull before it refocused in front of him.

“At this point in time, I would always be willing to sacrifice myself in the line of battle, it’s a natural occurrence in that line of work.  Heirlooms mean nothing to me, more than willing to turn them into kindling or whatever needs to be done for a better cause.  A loved one, no, at this time I would not be willing to give up that.  Not while I still draw breath and can still move.”

The man grew cold again, eyes looking far away in space and time, not saying another word.

cider - a food that you disliked as a child but now enjoy?

“I didn’t really have the luxury of disliking foods when I was a kid.  Everything was eaten and enjoyed, or at least to a point I don’t recall disliking anything.  Nowadays, maybe the foods I avoid are because of my youth.  Nothing really jumps out though.”

“I know this is going to sound boring but I’m not really a party guy.  I’d invite those among my ranks, family I guess.  People I trust.  I wouldn’t really have too much fun otherwise, it’s often not my place unless right after a fight or a particularly long stay.”

“I look forward to most of fall.  Cooler temperatures means armor feels better.  Scenery is nice.  People just all around think better when in fair temperate seasons.  Everything goes smoother.”
