You smirked as Sebek smothered himself from being too loud.

You dragged Sebek over who stuttered before freezing as Malleus lays the babe in his arms.

You all watched as Sebek practically melted when your baby opened their eyes and smiled at him before sleeping again.

Now that everyone is awake and Malleus is jumpscaring Idia at the door, I just wanna yap about the fact that a lot of this really fucking adds up to why having severe abandonment issues spanning from WHILE IN THE EGG and then hatching is a serious issue and Lilia is not exempt from it either because he's been doing his god damn best, but there's still this distance he puts between him and Malleus WHEN YOU'RE HIS DAD TOO DAMMIT

Like the fucking dead dudes need to be exorcised, but Lilia, please, when you're teaching Malleus to cherish the transient lives of those around him with GaoGao, YOU HAVE TO ALSO EXPLAIN IT TO HIM.

Like it's a massive miscommunication that led to this situation because Malleus HATES being lonely. But also don't mind my AuDHD ass bringing up RSD cuz him reacting the way he did was that fucking feeling like someone was clawing your heart out at the idea that those closest to him were leaving him like that (abandoning him) WITHOUT HIM is peak rejection sensitive dysphoria doing its thing.

Legit, it's honestly sad, but this is very much the fucking Senate's fault overall, and I hope the consequences go entirely to them because Malleus is legit the equivalent of someone who just turned 18 and expected to be 100 percent mature, WHEN HE LITERALLY JUST TURNED 18 AND WILL BE LIKE THAT FOR A DAMN WHILE. It's like turning 18 in the states, but you're only legally an adult and can vote, but fuck if you can't drink nor do anything most other adults are capable of, like taxes, paying bills, and all that shit.

Throw in that elitist senate ripping a baby Malleus out of Lilia's arms, and then keeping the two away from each other, and you have the most horrifically stunted, traumatized person around who has yet to realize that there are better ways to cope.

Consequences be damned, I want Ace to talk some sense into Malleus and Lilia again like in endless halloween. GET THEIR ASS.

I've been having thoughts on Malleo, so hear me out

Imagine a Leona x fem!Malleus scenario, the romance would build up more naturally if that was the case!!

So Malleus is walking around doing club activities, which is observing gargoyles ofc, and Leona happens to be near bc he overslept into the night and was going back to his dorm. But Leona sees Malleus and hesitates. Logically, he knows she's way more powerful than him and can take care of herself just fine, but he questions if he'll be able to sleep peacefully knowing he saw a girl walking around abandoned places alone in the middle of the night. So he decides to go up to her and pays the small price of Malleus excitedly talking about gargoyles the whole time. He even accompanies her back to Diasomnia before going back to his own

He tries to avoid it at first but it keeps happening until Leona eventually decides to join her every time she goes out at night. He even starts participating in the conversation instead of just listening and tuning out most of Malleus' monologues, which she notices

I can also totally see Lilia tricking Leona (and Ruggie, by proximity) into coming to Diasomnia, but Leona decides to stay once he learns it's Malleus' birthday (bc ofc Lilia is his kids' biggest wingman). Whether or not he knows Malleus used to have very lonely birthday parties before doesn't matter, Leona has shown in a vignette that he's more inclined to participate in a woman's birthday than a man's, even if they're a stranger

Like, man. Turning Malleus into a girl would make Leona go softer on her when they interact outside of their established rivalry, which would make for an interesting dynamic me thinks

... On the other hand, if you change Leona into a girl instead, nothing about their interactions would change lol. If Malleus wanted to court Leona, he will do so no matter the gender

Let me see your textbook.” no introductions or anything, just straight to the point. probably doesn’t ask for your name since he already knew. yes he didn’t prepare anything beforehand, no flipping through your syllabus before the actual tutoring because this man just skims through your textbook under twenty minutes and started teaching. yes he’s good at it. unfair, really. sometimes he’ll get a generational shock at the current syllabus though. “The hell are kids learning these days.” “Do you even need these in real life.”

he may seem like an indolent man (and he is) but it’s honestly so impressive of him to be able to understand your syllabus the moment he reads through them and being able to teach you about it.

strictness is 4/10 he doesn’t really care if you didn’t do the homework he assigned bc he’s not gonna be the one failing those exams that determines 70% of your future. yes those were his exact words. he might nag you a little but after that nothing’s on him. clocks off right on time.

this mf whips out a whole stack of 9cm tall worth of exercises for you because he thinks it’s funny. eerily friendly. might unintentionally make you feel a little dumb when he does that little inhale and tilts his head slightly, looking genuinely confused as to how you could get this question wrong. wears glasses (i know what jade leech stans are) occasionally. yes those attractive thin framed ones. only when you’re halfway selling off your soul to deal with the mountain of exercises he’s telling you “Oh, you needn’t get all of them completed today.” with that very innocent smile.

strictness is 7/10 he’s scary when he’s strict. might let you off the hook once or twice with incomplete homework (only with valid reasons tho) but afterwards that service smile drops and questions why you’re so reluctant on doing homework. it’s just a 2k word essay. also clocks off right on time even if he’s about to finish teaching a topic he’s not going to provide free labour.

this man is INSANE literally not one day does he wear a casual outfit to your sessions it’s always professional wear with him. yeaah i’m back with my dress pants dress shirt along with vest plus neat tie malleus only this time he doesn’t have his collar unbuttoned and sleeves rolled up sob sob gotta look clean. intimidating asl but that’s just bc he’s bad at connecting with the younger generations (or anyone, really) however it’s very sweet of him to still try and crack some academic related jokes with a straight face (it’s up to u whether they’re funny or not) hoping you’ll laugh. look he really wants u to open up to him so that u can absorb knowledge better instead of being constantly on edge around him ok

strictness is 9/10 oohlala much like jade he’d close an eye if it’s not a frequent occasion but he demands respect and you constantly putting off the works he assigned to help you clearly shows you don’t think of him as anything. he is patient and nice but only when you deserve it. also he’d delay a maximum of twenty minutes of your time after class ends just to finish talking about the topic.

DEADASS the most fun tutor ever. he’s all malleus ever want to be. bought drinks or snacks on his way and decided to buy you some too (just take it even if the flavours are weird). this man makes you comfortable around him instantly and teaches better than most of your teachers in school. definitely checks out your stationary while you’re suffering in doing matrixes. you can hear him mumbling to himself sometimes “Broo we didn’t even have these back then.” and it’s a squared glue stick. “Can you link me where you got this.” also THE most patient tutor and he won’t even let you feel bad for making him explain the same thing for the nth time. his job is to teach! not scold.

strictness being a 2/10 he’ll still advise you to do your homework but not in a scolding manner. he’ll really gently talk you into doing them for your own good unless you’re outright being disrespectful then the rate changes :p will ask if you want him to continue when the clock strikes end of session. if you don’t, okay! he’ll get back to it next lesson.

I’m reading Yandere!Malleus fanfic right now and now I want to live the reality of being Malleus’s precious little darling he keeps to himself-

Specifically as a sort of sea creature who only really needs blood to survive because those things are fucking cool.

Like, I wanna be allowed to go out in public only when Malleus is with me and only have visitors and friends over that he trusts. I wanna have a little private pool that is the only body of water I’m allowed to be in unsupervised because Mallie is scared of me getting the idea to swim away even though I know it’s futile to even attempt an escape.

But why would I want to escape?

So long as I behave and abide by the rules, I’m free to do as I please with permission and I’d get all of the bags of humanely obtained human blood I can drink along with my favorite foods. All I’d really have to do would be to sit in his lap and obey all of his rules and requests and love him just as much as he loves me!
