"I expect you to beg me for forgiveness as you were taught." Celeste crossed his legs, resting his elbow on the arm of the chair and leaning into his hand. "Or have you forgotten how to do that, too?"

You didn't miss a beat in your response. "With all due respect, sir, I do not believe I should beg for forgiveness. The ingredients were beyond my control."

"Well, then you should have gotten Monokuma to go get more, knowing we were low."

The back and forth was leaving you fuming, especially with how Celeste would constantly find a way to blame you for this unforeseen incident, yet you remained in position. Despite your annoyance, you always fell back to your roots. Remain seen, remain calm, remain obedient.

Celeste beckoned you over with a single finger, to which you obeyed, and stepped forward. He remained in that same, bored position, eyeing up at you.

"I'm very disappointed in you, (Y/N). First your incompetence, now that running mouth of yours..." A hand slowly reached up, grabbing your black tie and yanking it and you down to a single knee. "Begging for my forgiveness is no longer enough. I think I should teach that disobedient little mouth a lesson." His voice was deeper, darker, more menacing, full of promise. It was enough to get your heart pounding out of fear.

"S-Sir...please, whatever i-it is you plan on doing I--"

"No." He tugged you forward, dropping you to both knees now with a small grunt. "You had your chance. You need to be retrained."

Five interesting things the Danganronpa manga confirmed about Celestia Ludenberg.

Apparently it will be a while before @shsl-analyzer-guy gets around to his Celeste analysis, so I thought I'd do this post since I was reminded by this one, since Celeste deserves it.

1.) She really was trying.

Part of what makes Celeste such an interesting villain is that she wasn't a villain until midway through Chapter 3. Despite her sinister appearance and personality, she really was intent on lying to herself about being content to adapt to being trapped in Hope's Peak Academy, actively looking for things to find joy in like taking a bath with the other girls and even imagining transforming the school into her castle and shaping the boys into her butlers. Up until Monokuma brought in the $10,000,000 motive, she sincerely had no desire to partake in the Killing Game, hence things like her "Nighttime Rule" and her "adapt" advice to others.

2.) Kiyondo and his feud with Hifumi over Alter Ego was the tipping point.

The manga confirms that the $10,000,000 motive alone wasn't what pushed Celeste into becoming a murderer. It brought about immediate temptation, of course, but Celeste's resolve to not partake in the Killing Game didn't crumble just yet. Everyone's fixation on Alter Ego and placing their hopes in it, and especially the effect it had on Kiyotaka (now "Kiyondo") and Hifumi is what tipped the scales. Celeste is clearly frightened by this whole turn of events: Taka is now acting like the previous murderer, and tensions are running high between him and Hifumi. Either of them could turn to murder to frame the other in her view, and she could possibly be the victim since both prior victims were physically weaker than their killers. And even if she isn't, even if another case is solved, the $10,000,000 reward from Monokuma will come and go, meaning she let a chance to achieve her dream pass her by in order to stay locked inside this school that she can no longer lie to herself about being able to enjoy since no matter what, Monokuma keeps making it dangerous and anxiety-inducing. Adding to this the fact that nobody else feels motivated by the $10,000,000 and thus would have their guards down against someone who did, Celeste just couldn't resist the temptation any longer. Using Taka and Hifumi's feud over Alter Ego to commit an unsolvable murder so that she can finally escape this nightmare and get her castle was too tantalizing an opportunity for her.

3.) She did feel suppressed remorse.

Celeste's spiel about how human life means nothing to her if it gets in the way of victory and how she feels no remorse for her deeds was a lie. In addition to her almost walking back on it when giving the key to Alter Ego's locker to Kyoko before deciding against it since she embraces the "Cool Motive, Still Murder" mantra and doesn't want anyone's pity that we see in the game, the manga shows that she has a pang of conscience after betraying and killing Hifumi. She quickly shuts it out, though, since Celestia Ludenberg isn't supposed to have a conscience; that's a Taeko Yasuhiro thing that she ought to be above. And speaking of...

4.) Her true motive was to live as Celestia Ludenberg, not as Taeko Yasuhrio.

The manga is blatant in that the dream of living in a castle with handsome male servants is a simplistic character goal for Celeste, and I do mean character, as Celeste is a fabrication. Taeko Yasuhiro has zero self-esteem due to being seen as dull and ordinary, much like Makoto or Komaru, by a world that values celebrity, and due to coming from a low class, garbage-ridden background. Even her talent is boring, passive "luck in games". That's why she invented Celestia Ludenberg as a means of escape, a means of self-rejection. The castle is what Celeste wants, but what it represents is what Taeko wants: an adult life as Celeste, where she can perpetually lie to herself about who she is....her own reality that she can cocoon herself in. It's a tragic irony: because she thought so little of herself, she ended up becoming completely and utterly self-absorbed. In her school life at Hope's Peak, she could grow beyond this, and is hinted to have done so given that she let Hifumi know her real name and even agreed to potentially living her life in the school shelter since the world's destruction made her realize there are more important things than a silly castle dream. But Junko wiped her memories of all this and then led her into becoming a manipulative, murderous villain.

5.) She did not take her impending death by firetruck well.

We never see her reaction to the approaching firetruck in the game, but we do in the manga: a face of horrified disbelief. Burning at the stake would have been more painful than this, but it would allow her to die as Celeste. Instead, she gets vehicular slaughter, a commonplace death worthy of a commonplace girl like Taeko Yasuhiro. And so she dies....in despair.

Moral of the story: don't live your life telling lies. Especially not to yourself.

I’m a bit bored, so how’s about some non kink appearance headcanons

I’ll start with THH

Leon Kuwata - (He/Him bi, female pref)He’s an athlete, so I figure he’s kinda lean-muscle-ish, but with thicker thighs bc baseball players are just built different. Has smallish stretched ears (like 0g)

Sayaka Maizono - (She/Her, bi male pref) Built like a standard jpop idol, what else do you expect? She definitely puts blush and highlighter on her nose like a 2020 egirl.

Chihiro Fujisaki - (She/They, trans-femme (questioning), pan) All around petite, even their feet are tiny. Has chubby cheeks and a slight gap in her front teeth.

Mondo Oowada - (He/Him, gay) Muscular and a bit stocky, has naturally curly hair when he lets it down. Has scars on his hands from busting his knuckles. Pierced eyebrow, septum, and ears.

Kiyotaka Ishimaru - (He/Him, demisexual gay) Has a gym regimen that he sticks to religiously and is well muscled. He has fuller lips and a round face that don’t quite suit his body.

Celestia Ludenberg - (She/They, bi fem pref) She is plus sized and has an slight hourglass figure that is accentuated by her corset. Draws their eyebrows on in thin triangles and has a trad goth makeup look. Snakebites and stretched ears.

Hifumi Yamada - (He/They, aroace) We all know the man is fat, but the game really did him dirty. His body in my headcanon is evenly portioned and he has more of a hanging stomach that is tucked in his pants. Always wears comfy clothes because of sensory issues and has somewhat curly hair.

Sakura Ogami - (She/Her, pan) She’s already perfect in game. I do see her having softer facial features and thick curly hair though. She also loves to wear nude tinted lipgloss when she isn’t actively training.

Aoi Asahina - (She/Her, Lesbian) Midsized with thick thighs and muscular arms. Has a really cute button nose and a dusting of freckles. Has a small gold hoop nose ring.

Junko Enoshima - (She/Her, pan) She’s a supermodel, so yeah. She wears hair extensions, and her natural hair is pin straight. Has a small, upturned nose. (She also wears push up bras)

Mukuro Ikusaba - (She/They, Lesbian) All around muscular from combat training. Has freckles on her shoulders as well and scars on her hands/arms from knife fights.

Kyoko Kirigiri - (She/Her, bi, female pref) Slim and relatively flat chested, but doesn’t mind at all. Has very light colored eyelashes that match her hair.

Yasuhiro Hagakure - (He/Him, pan) Just kind of an average guy. He doesn’t work out or anything, so he’s a little bit soft. Scraggly facial hair. Likes to wear his locs in a ponytail with a bandanna, and he has some wood and glass beads in them. Pierced nostril and ears.

Toko Fukawa - (She/Her, Lesbian with one exception) Kind of scrawny and awkward. Hates wearing form-fitting clothes. Has knobby knees and doesn’t like wearing skirts that show them. Thick hair and eyebrows. She has freckles on her shoulders and a few other dark moles on her arms and back, like the one on her face. Is actually quite pretty, but doesn’t put any time into her appearance.

Byakuya Togami - (He/Him, Somewhere on the ace spectrum) Tall and thin, but not in an unhealthy way. Has long elegant fingers and big feet. Softer, androgynous looking facial features and double eyelashes.

Makoto Naegi - (He/Him FtM, pan) Is just kind of naturally chubby, and has a round baby face. Hasn’t had top surgery, but his body shape kind of evens him out. Thick, wavy hair. Has a gap in his front teeth and kind of a wide flat-ish nose with full lips.

They seemed to have nothing in common, and yet, Celeste's teasing remarks towards Kyoko came across as flirting

Although really, it was just because Celeste was trying to get a reaction out of Kyoko, which always failed

Like everyone else, Kyoko was beneath her

Speaking of the lavender-haired detective, she found it odd when you suddenly started avoiding her

She planned to ask you about it, but one day, you wandered into the dining hall, where she and Celeste were drinking tea together

"Hello, (Name)."

"Hm? Oh, hello, my dear. Would you care for some tea?"

"Oh, um... No thanks. I don't want to interrupt."

You turned to leave the dining hall, but Celeste tilted her head with a curious hum

"What do you mean by that?"

Kyoko mirrored her look, clearly wanting an explanation as well

"Well... Aren't you two dating?"

Celeste let out an amused giggle while Kyoko simply looked at you in confusion

"Oh my! How on earth did you come to that conclusion? Why, you're an even worse detective than Kirigiri. We most certainly are not dating."

You looked at her in genuine confusion

"...You're not?"

"Of course not. I would never date a mere C-Rank like her. No one in this building is worthy of my time. No, Kirigiri is far from my first choice of partner."

Well, that was harsh, but at least you still had a chance

Kyoko awkwardly cleared her throat before putting her tea cup away and approaching you

"I'm sorry you had to hear it from her. But no, Celeste and I aren't dating. I'm interested in someone else."

"Who's that?'

A light blush formed on her face as she looked you in the eyes

"Isn't it obvious?"

You then accepted her confession, and the two of you smiled as you stared into each other's eyes

Then Celeste cleared her throat from across the room

"Pardon me, but in case you did not notice, I am trying to drink my tea. Please get this hideous display of affection out of my sight at once."

After being kicked out of the dining hall, you and Kyoko went to her room to relax

- Sayaka gets upset when you’re mean to someone- she’d talk to you about your actions and apologize to that person later.

- If you ever got into a fight, she would try to diffuse the situation and stop you from fighting. Afterwards, Sayaka would talk to you to make sure you were okay!

- She would never doubt you though, she would still trust you completely even though you are very reckless.

- And then randomly, you hugged her- squeezing her all flustered.

- Sayaka let out a soft giggle, she thought you were adorable!

- She squeezed you back while continuing to giggle.

Celestia Ludenberg

- The idea of a delinquent boyfriend makes Celeste’s skin crawl. But ever since she got with you, she didn’t really care anymore.

- At some point in the relationship, Celeste did try to mold you into the most perfect, respectful gentleman.

- She didn’t really care after that.

- If you were ever mean to someone, she would just sigh and not do anything. As long as it doesn’t involve her, she doesn’t care.

- Literally the definition of “I pretend I do not see it”. Celeste will literally just sit and drink her tea looking all pretty while you bully the shit out of someone.

- If you're fighting someone, she would just sit there and watch- basically enjoying the show.

- Damn, Celeste thought that you were honestly badass until you decided to hug her privately

- Celeste was shocked- she wasn't used to physical touch, especially not from someone like you...

- She sighed, and patted your back with a small smile on her face.

Aoi Asahina

- Like Celeste, Aoi did try to help you become a better person. But really, it was no use,
