A gentle breeze combed it’s way through (Y/N)s hair. Their back laid against the trunk of the tree with their knee’s pulled up to their chest. Listening to the birds sing their peaceful morning songs with their eyes closed off to the real world. Unaware of their friend and fellow sorcerer standing a ways back behind them, starring at them with worriedly. A cup of their favorite drink pressed between his fingers. The whole walk here and Nanami Kento still didn’t know what to say to his friend…His friend he cherished so deeply… just as he had Haibara.
Nanami heard of what happened a week ago… the accident… another failed mission in Jujutsus record books… one compiled of many others that occurred during the last several months. It weighed on all their hearts so heavily. Innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire perishing under their watch. He understood it was difficult not to succumb to those dark voices… After all he’d heard them plaguing his own thoughts late in the nightly hours.
That’s why he was here. He’d seen first hand what listening to those voices did to a person. Geto Suguru was a prime example. The whole situation with the vessel had changed him, formed him into a man beyond recognition… now he no longer stood beside them as a comrade… but as an enemy. And gods had Gojo taken the biggest hit… even if he did try to hide it behind his strength and techniques. Nanami would damn himself if he sat back and watch the same fate befall his last living friend. He couldn’t withstand even the thought of losing them too…
He sighed and shook his head of those troubling thoughts. It was now or never… and he wasn’t going to leave his friend to battle this alone. He steadily approached them, cautious not to startle them. When their tired and swollen eyes turned to look at him he was crushed. Nearly everything unspoken was written in their glossy (e/c) eyes. He moved hastily to sit next to (Y/N), their shoulders barely brushing against the other. He offered the drink to them in a whisper, watching attentively as they took it from his hand. “Thank you, Ken.” They replied equally as hushed. Dammit he just wanted to reach inside of them and take all of their pain away. They set the object on the grass patch beside them, then they buried their head into their arms and knees. Nanami heard a soft sob come from them. He panicked for a moment, then a thought came into mind… a form a comfort he’d seen used with people before.
Nanami placed a gentle hand on their back, ghosting his fingers over their spine. A sign that he was there if they needed him. And it seemed they did. They leaned their weighed into his chest, the crown of their head resting against his chest. He found it natural to wrap his arms around them and pull them in further into his lap. Their body shook as the cried, and Nanami allowed them to cry as much as they wanted. Knowing it would somehow help them move past this.
After several moments passed and (Y/N) sobs quieted to hiccuping snuffles, he spoke up. “Would you like to talk about it?” The two locked eyes. (Y/n) sat up a bit to be eye to eye with the man. Rubbing the remaining tears out of their eyes lashes. “I don’t understand whats happening Nanami… First the vessel, then Haibara… Geto…. And all those people I could have saved but I wasn’t strong enough!” Tears once again began to roll over their red cheeks. The frustration cracking their worn voice. “This feels like madness! Are we… supposed to go on and on with so much death surrounding us like this?” The question wasn’t directed towards Nanami specifically. Even if it was he still wouldn’t have known how to answer. He breathed in… then out again. His breath fanning over (Y/N) face. “I-I don’t know. I wish there was an easy answer to help sooth your worries… But I don’t have them.” (Y/N) eyes bore into him sharply as if they were disappointed with his answer. But there eye’s widened when he drew them in for a warmth filled embrace. Nanami rested his head along theres, his fingers bunched the fabric of their uniform as he desperately clung to them. Almost if he were afraid to let go and lose them forever.
“I do know this… I can’t lose you too. We’ve both lost a lot of things…. But it won’t bring those things back by wishing we were stronger. Our enemies don’t intend to stop… so we must also continue, even if it’s difficult to take the first step. There are people still here waiting for you to take it with you.” Nanami cupped (Y/n) face ever so gingerly, wiping away their tears with the pads of his thumbs. A small tender smile formed on his face. “Haibara would fight for us if he were still here, so we must continue his fight. For him.”
Nanami’s words were tough to swallow… but they knew he was right. They nodded slowly, taking a few deep breath in before turning their gaze to Nanami. “Thank you Ken, you mean the world to me too.” It was their turn to return the hug back to him. A light chuckled rumbled against his chest. He patted their head gently, then proceeded to help them to their feet. Their eyes were still red, puffy, and the tiredness still hung from their bottom lashes. But the hopeful smile they emitted toward him brought him satisfaction. They’d be alright with time.
“ Don’t forget your drink… and…let’s get you something to eat. Even if it’s something small hmm?” Retrieving their drink, (Y/N) agreed to his offer. The pair making their way to the nearest vending machine.

You… You really did have to follow that ship on this forsaken planet, didn't you?
You couldn't just listen to your partner Carson for once when he warned you to let it go.
Chasing that Razor Crest despite the bad weather on Maldo Kreis was not the smartest idea. Not smart at all, in fact.
You were only supposed to ask the pilot why his ship was in the proximity of that prison, Bothan-5, when that officer was killed, but he ran away as soon as he heard that name. You immediately started recklessly chasing that old piece of junk in the hostile atmosphere of this awful, unwelcoming planet, and next thing you know your Starfighter crashed, compromising the integrity of the hatch, you’re cut off from your partner and you’ll likely freeze to death before he can come rescue you. Could it get any worse?
It turns out it can.
Just when you switch the radio off, resigned to accept the unavoidable fate, your eyes seem to catch something dark in the snowstorm. At first you assume it’s just your mind playing tricks on you, but when you take a better look, you see it - there’s a dark figure approaching your ship. It must be him - the Razor Crest pilot. As he gets closer, you notice he’s wearing armour, a Mandalorian armour, and you’ve heard the stories about those deadly warriors. You probably made him angry with your insistent pursuit and now he might be killing you so as not to leave witnesses.
You are so fucked. This is the worst day of your life, and also the last.
He lifts the damaged hatch of your ship and looks at you, exposing you to the freezing air of the blizzard. You stare back at him - his broad figure completely towers over yours, but you try not to look intimidated by him.
"Razor Crest, is that you?" you say in a secure tone, wanting to appear tough.
"Yeah." the modulated voice answers as you feel his dark visor lingering on your figure.
"Came here to finish the job?" you try to sneakily grab your blaster in a desperate attempt to defend your life, determined not to die without fighting, or at least, not without trying.
"Not if you don't try anything stupid like that. Put it down." says in an authoritative tone, his right hand instinctively goes on the holster of his blaster. You quickly realise this is not the moment for heroism if you want to survive.
"Don't give me orders. I'm a New Republic officer." you reply firmly.
He scoffs and shakes his head in disdain.
"Dear officer, take a good look around. This frozen tomb doesn't look like New Republic territory to me." he goads you "Now quit it and let's go to my ship."
"Who says I want to come with you?"
"Come on, I’m freezing my ass off, for fuck’s sake." he loses no time in ripping your seatbelt and life support system off your body before grabbing you and carrying you over on his shoulder.
"Put me down! You're so rude!" you protest and try to kick him, but he blocks your legs in the tight grasp of his free arm, immobilising you.
"So far I've been more kind than you deserve. If you keep acting like that, I'll show you how rude I can be." his grip is firm and strong as he gives a warning squeeze to your thigh.
You do not want to admit it, but you feel a thrill of excitement at that - he doesn’t care about the fact that you're a law enforcer, he’s treating you like the scum he’s used to. He probably wants to trade your life for his freedom with Carson later - you’re his hostage now.
When you reach his ship, he finally puts you down. You take off your helmet and look at the Mandalorian that so unceremoniously saved you from certain death earlier.
You realise how much taller than you he is, his armour making him even broader than what he already is. Your eyes can't help lingering on his body in wonder at how strong he must be, how the shiny beskar perfectly completes his thick masculine figure, only adding to his already imposing stance, perfectly concealing his body, making him massive and statuesque. His suit is tight around the arms, you can see the outline of his thick, strong biceps. If only he wasn’t a criminal, if only you weren’t a New Republic officer, if only he wasn’t a complete cunt…
"You done?" a low, baritonal voice interrupts your dirty thoughts.
"Excuse me?" you raise a brow.
"I asked if you're done checking me out."
“What?! I wasn’t-” you lie and you both know it. You do not feel so cold anymore, your cheeks feel hot all of a sudden.
“Yeah. Sure.” the asshole teases as he rests against the wall of his ship, looking at you with crossed arms.
“You hurt?” he then asks.
“No, I’m fine.”
"Good. Let's go up to the cockpit, then. It's warmer up there."
He climbs up the ladder and when the door closes behind him, you take a deep breath, trying to collect yourself, and follow him.
When you get in the small room, you find him sitting in the pilot chair facing the windshield with crossed arms and legs spread wide. You settle on his side, standing with crossed arms and gaze fixed on his body. He’s as still and silent as a statue, unreadable under that helmet - is he really relaxed as he wants you to think, or is he carefully studying you?
"Don't look at me that way." says without moving a muscle.
"How?"
"Same way you've been looking at me since we got on the ship."
"What are you implying?"
"Don't act like you don't know." he turns towards you and stands up, making you imperceptibly startle. He looks imposing and menacing, his helmet slightly tilted observing you.
"You don't trust me one bit, do you?" he scoffs and shakes his head.
"You assaulted that prison and killed that poor man. He was a New Republic officer, just like me. Why should I trust you?”
“Because I didn’t do it.”
“Why should I believe you?”
“What will you do when you find out I was right all along?” the way he doesn’t lose his cool is fascinating, to a degree.
"You’re not. If you were innocent, you wouldn’t have run away and we wouldn't be here now."
He tilts his helmet to the side once again as he looks at you. His gaze and his confidence make you feel hot and uncomfortable at the same time - you wouldn’t want to give out the undeniable way his stoic charm is affecting you, but you hate the way he's been treating you.
"Yeah, we wouldn't be here." he lets out in an allusive tone as he walks one single step forward while you take one back, ending up against the wall. He's so damn tall and broad and… and you're getting so wet.
You look into his dark visor, feeling his gaze lingering on your body. You can feel the tension, the atmosphere in the cockpit becoming unbearable. It's getting hard to breathe, heat radiating from both of your bodies as you never stop looking at each other. While his sight is unreadable, yours is unmistakably libidinous, your heart pounding in your chest and your pussy throbbing with need, but you're both too proud to surrender first.
"I guess not. You coward." you let out in a far too flirtatious way as you look at him with shameless lust.
"What did you just call me?!" he rasps, sounding so provocative.
"Coward. That's what you are. Running away from me when I was chasing you and taking me hostage when I was so vulnerable.”
“Shut up.”
“So big and tough in your shiny armour, but you run away as soon as you see a New Republic patrol. I should have just shot you when I had the chance. At least I wouldn’t be sharing this ship with a coward.”
“I said shut up.”
“What now, Mandalorian? What do you plan to do now that you've kidnapped me? Are you gonna prove me wrong?" you’re wondering if you got too far when he gets dangerously close to you, his menacing figure towering over yours as he grips a handful of your hair, forcing your gaze into his dark visor.
"Do I have to stick my cock in your mouth to make you shut up?"
A flame of lust instantly traverses your body. You feel your blood boiling, making you feel hot and flustered, reason and common sense leaving you at the mercy of a primal, carnal instinct.
"I bet you don't have the balls to do it." you goad him with a smirk on your face.
Oh, you shouldn't have said that, yet you did, and what's worse is that you don't regret it.
You look at him with shameless desire clouding your eyes, internally cursing at the helmet that can't and won't let you see his reaction to your provocation, waiting for his next move.
You keep your lustful gaze locked on his visor as his hand swiftly unfastens his belt and the zip of his pants. His grip on your hair tightens even more as he pushes you on your knees, immediately sticking his hard, thick cock in your mouth and fuck, the sound he makes. It's worth crashing on a desolated planet and being scolded afterwards. It's guttural and desperate, astonished at how good your poisonous mouth feels when you take him in and your tongue gently swirls around his tip, instead of spitting mean words at him. You keep eye contact as you let the shaft slide in your mouth and coat it generously in your saliva, his head tilted back as he lets out breathy sighs of pleasure.
"You. You need to learn how to fucking behave. Shut up when I tell you to. You have to stop taunting me. Fuck. Is this what you wanted?"
He takes your head away from his cock to let you answer.
“You’re not as much of a coward as I thought you were.” you tease.
“You are still talking?!” exclaims as he pushes your head towards his cock once again, staying still as he uses your mouth for his pleasure, violently forcing all of his length down your throat. When he rips you away from it, you gasp for breath.
"You look so good like this. On your knees, choking on my cock, finally shutting the fuck up like a good girl." he growls, pleased.
Just as you want more of it, your mouth going towards it once again, his grip on your hair turns to steel and stops you there. You look up to him from your kneeled position and see him shaking his head.
“Why? Are you close already?” you taunt him as he tucks his cock back in his pants.
"Oh, it will take you way more than that to make me come, officer." says as he makes you stand up.
“Bet you want me to prove you wrong so badly. Bet you want to come in my m-” you stop mid sentence as he starts to unzip your flight suit while he pushes you towards the control panel of his ship, making you sit on it and trapping you there with his beskar body, your legs instinctively spread open for him to fit between them.
“Yeah? Go on. What were you saying?” he goads you as his hand slips inside of the thin pants you're wearing under the suit, teasing your clit from outside your underwear.
“I-I was s-saying that - that-” you gasp when his hand finds its way into your panties and reaches your slit.
"Ooh, what do we have here?" exclaims in taunting wonder. His beskar helmet is only a few centimetres distant from your face "Acting all cocky and arrogant before, but damn, feel how wet you are. Bet no one ever made you this wet, officer. Stars, you're dripping for me. All of this just from sucking my cock?" says in a husky voice as two of his thick, gloved fingers slide inside of you.
You grit your teeth in a desperate attempt to hide the way this is making you feel, not wanting to give him satisfaction, but your body is slowly surrendering to him and betraying you, your cunt involuntarily clamping around his fingers, revealing how his words are, in fact, effective on you.
"Oh, I bet you feel so good and you sound so sweet when you moan for me. Feel how hot and tight you are." he keeps teasing you.
Resisting him is getting near impossible. By now he knows how badly you want it.
"Listen to what we’re gonna do now. You're gonna come on my fingers like a good girl and then I'll fuck you until your partner comes to rescue you."
You can't help it anymore and let out a moan at how sensual his voice sounds as he says those things to you, at the thought of getting fucked by him, all while his fingers keep sliding inside and outside of you, making your cunt spasm around them.
"Oh, I knew it. Damn, such a sweet girl." he rasps as he takes his fingers out.
"What the fuck?!" you snap at him when he does, making him chuckle at your reaction.
"Hey, calm down officer." he teases your lips with his gloved fingers soaked in your arousal.
You instinctively suck the leather and taste yourself on his fingers, licking them sensually as you look at him in the visor. He hums in pleasure seeing that and goes on playing with your mouth, entranced by the way your tongue swirls around them, until he takes them out and presses his middle finger on your bottom lip.
"Bite." he simply orders and you obey, taking the hem of his glove between your teeth to let his hand slip out of the glove. It's huge compared to yours, callous and veiny and masculine. You hum as it starts trailing down your body and feel the warm trail it leaves on the delicate skin of your neck as he caresses it, your own hands holding tight to the commands of the ship, propping you up to offer yourself to his touch. You can feel his eyes looking at your body from behind the dark visor as his hand slips in your flight suit once again, groping your breast from outside your shirt, his thumb playing with one of your hardened nipples, your back arched and chest puffed out to make it look fuller. You moan loudly when he slides his fingers in your panties and back inside of you.
"Stars - so fucking wet. I bet your cunt is so beautiful. Spread your legs for me. You're making me so fucking hard." he keeps up the pace and also starts to rub your clit with his thumb, making the pleasure you’re feeling unable to hide and you surrender to him, panting heavily as your eyes cross and roll in delight.
"Really? Eyes rolling, officer?" he taunts you.
"F-fuck y-you-" you rasp with half closed eyes, your sentence gets interrupted as he hooks his fingers, touching something devastating inside of you, making him scoff when he sees the way you squeeze your eyes shut and arch your back, your mouth wide open to let out obscene moans.
"What? Do you want me to stop?" he provokes you.
"Don't you fucking dare." you manage to let out in a barely audible sigh.
He immediately grabs your neck, not liking the way you undermine his authority.
"Careful now, officer." he growls.
You moan back in response at how much you like this - being put back into place, the Mandlaorian reminding you who is in control. You hold tight to his sides, digging your nails in his flight suit as he just pushes you further against the control panel with his body.
You’re a panting mess and you feel so close, so damn close to your orgasm. You beg he won’t stop as you wrap your legs around him. He feels by the irregular, ragged way you're breathing and the way your muscles go rigid around him that you're close.
"What? Coming already?” he chuckles “I will let you just because I want to fuck you so badly. Now come, my dear officer. Come for me."
You pant straight into his helmet when you hear him calling you like that, fogging it where his mouth would be. His hand pushes you over the edge and you moan loudly as he makes you come around his fingers, your hands holding tight to his neck, bringing him down towards you. Your back arches, chest rubbing against his armour and you roll your head back until it hits the transparisteel of the windshield behind you. Your nails scratch him hard and your legs’ grip becomes even tighter, his upper body now trapped in your grasp.
He grabs your chin with his other hand and forces you to look at him in the visor.
"Yes - yes, yes. Like this. Good girl." he growls between his teeth, looking at you as you struggle to keep your gaze on him, your eyes wanting to roll up in pleasure.
He lets you ride your high, never stopping those astounding moves of his hand, making you feel so satisfied, but so guilty and humiliated at the same time.
As the orgasm gradually fades out, your grip on his body loosens.
He takes out his hand right in front of your eyes and, Maker, it's soaking wet, glistening in your arousal. You’re both embarrassed and aroused when you see how wet and yielding you got for him as soon as he started touching you.
"Damn, officer. How am I going to-"
You don't even let him finish, you've taken his hand in yours and start sucking his fingers. He lets out a satisfied hum when you do that. You clean them thoroughly, sensually massaging his digits with your tongue, humming as you hear him cursing between his teeth in a foreign language.
Once he’s satisfied, he takes them out of your avid mouth.
"Now strip for me, officer. I bet you look so hot under that uniform."
"Forget it." you tease him.
"Too bad you didn't obey me when I asked so nicely."
In an instant his hands start ripping the flight suit off your body as you're kicking out of your boots at the same time. It's rushed, brutal and wild, the both of you completely taken over by lust. His hands linger on your sides, giving you goosebumps and making you sigh when he lifts the thermal shirt off your body and you hold on tight to the panel when he hooks his fingers in the hem of your pants and pulls everything down and away from your body, leaving you completely naked in front of him.
“You look… Good without your uniform on, officer.” he is pleased looking at your naked body. “Wonder if I could say the same about you, Mandalorian.” “You’ll have to use your imagination."
“Are you even a real Mandalorian? Maybe you stole this armour, or maybe you bought it off some Jawas.” you mock him.
"Come here and I’ll show you." he simply says as he sits back on his chair, legs spread wide and a visible bulge in his pants.
Just as you get close to him, he takes out one of his weapons, a strange sword without a blade, and begins to trace your nipple with the hilt. You start to breathe heavily and you can feel your nipple getting harder by the second, your eyes carefully following his movements as he descends ever so slowly, teasing you, trailing your stomach and then your lower belly, stopping right in front of your cunt, driving you crazy, your legs spreading for him, begging for some friction. He softly brushes your lips, carefully avoiding your clit to tease you further, until he finally touches it. The sudden contact of the hilt with your sensitive clit makes you shudder and let out a whimper.
"Don't. Move." he orders as he continues to touch you with that weapon, rubbing it against your clit, producing obscene, wet sounds at the contact. You try to stay as still as you can as he plays with that dangerous weapon so close to your most delicate spot. You beg he'd go faster, you wish you could ride it and come all over it, as pathetic as it sounds, but no, he doesn't want that. He wants to take his time to tease you, getting you nice and wet as he plays with you like you're his toy.
He stands up, towering over you.
"Stick your tongue out."
You immediately do and he starts to trace your mouth with the hilt.
"This is the Darksaber. Whoever wields it can rule all of Mandalore, and you're licking it after I've used it to give you pleasure. Feel how wet you’ve made it. How does that make you feel?"
“Like you should sit down on that chair and take out that cock. Touch yourself while I lick your Darksaber clean, Mandalorian.”
He grunts as you push him back on his chair. He immediately unzips his pants to take his throbbing cock out as you keep licking his weapon clean, pleased at the sight of his erection in his hand.
"Touch yourself for me, Mando" you order him as you trace your tongue on the hilt.
"Enough of that." he grabs you by the hair and pushes you on your knees, forcing you to suck his cock. In a swift movement he grabs the Darksaber with his two hands, using it as leverage to keep your head down, forcing his entire cock into your throat, making you startle at the sudden lack of air.
"You don't get to give me orders." he growls before freeing you from his grasp to let you breathe. You gasp for air and look at him, panting.
Maker, he's so dangerous. He could kill you in one second if he wanted to, and you've never, never been wetter than this, playing this dangerous, twisted game with a deadly warrior.
He gives you a few seconds to breathe and then he's back at it, using his weapon to make you choke on his cock.
"Do you understand? I can do whatever I want to you." he releases you once again. There are tears in the corner of your eyes but that doesn't stop him from doing that one more time.
"You're so fucking pretty, but you also need someone to tame you. You've found the right man. Is that what you were looking for, officer? Someone to tame that bad temper?" he says and releases you one more time. You gasp for air as one tear sheds down your cheek.
"Come here. I'll fuck that bad attitude out of you." he orders as he puts the Darksaber away.
This. This is what you've always been craving, what you always wanted.
You slowly rise from the cold floor, your hands on his thighs as you can't stop looking at each other with longing desire. You straddle him, shaking in anticipation as you sink on his body guided by his hands on your hips, letting his cock slowly slide inside of you. The both of you moan as his cock splits you open for him, making him feel how hot and welcoming you are. You both let out a long, satisfied sigh, his voice is dark and sensual and you spasm around his throbbing cock, heavily aroused to finally have him inside of you.
“Mando, let me see if you're only good with words now."
“Din. I want to hear you screaming my name when I’ll make you come on my cock, officer.”
“You’re pretty confident in your abilities, Mandalorian.”
“Your mouth might say otherwise, but your body agrees with me.” he's so arrogant and full of himself, his confidence is making you wet.
“It does” you concede “you feel good, Din.” you purr in his neck, and he grunts when he hears how sweet your voice can be as you whisper his name while you have his cock buried inside of you. You start riding him slowly, looking at him in the visor as you feel every ridge and vein of his cock, enjoying every single moment of it, letting him almost slip out, only to let him back inside of you. He lets out sighs of satisfaction that drive you insane and only want to make you increase your rhythm but no, not yet, you want to make him pay for the way he's been treating you.
“If I had known my cock would have been enough to tame your bad temper, I’d have fucked you earlier.”
“What about yours, Din? What should I do about you being an asshole to me?” you say as you pull him out of you, making him grunt.
“Fuck. Put it back in.”
“Not so fast. I want you to behave. Beg for it.”
“You know I could just take you anytime I want, right?” “I do. But where would the fun be?”
He hums in pleasure as you take his drenched cock in your hand and start to slowly stroke it right in front of your cunt, moaning in his neck just to get him even more aroused.
“Fuck. You’re good at this.” he whimpers.
You start to slide it between your folds, the both of you moaning in arousal.
“Dank Farrik, d-do you want me to die?” he growls, subjugated by your teasing. “I want you to behave.” you whisper in a heady groan as you keep rolling your hips and rubbing your pussy on his cock. “F-fuck. I want to be inside of you so badly.”
“Say it.”
He sighs and pauses, taking a good look at the tip of his cock teasing your entrance.
“Please.”
“Please what?” you ask, biting your lip in pleasure.
“Please put my cock back inside of you, officer.” there's a hint of annoyance in his voice when he surrenders and sees your satisfied smirk.
“Good.” you whisper gasping against his helmet as you slowly slide his cock deep back inside of you.
That’s the moment when he digs his fingers in your hips and starts jackhammering you, making you scream as he said he would, your hands clawing on his shoulders.
“Who do you think you are? Do you think you can taunt me? I’m a Mandalorian. A bounty hunter. Bet you’ve never been fucked so good, officer. I’m gonna give you this cock so hard, you’ll never forget about me. You’ll be touching yourself thinking about me for the rest of your life. Thinking about the Mandalorian Din Djarin who fucked your brains out on Maldo Kreis.”
The way he's fucking hard and rough into you as he says those things in an angry, husky voice is pleasurably devastating and addicting, having you moan frantically as your body is held still by his strong hands.
"Oh, fuck, Din, don't stop. Don't stop!" you let out in a desperate cry.
"Do you want to come on my cock, officer? Let me hear it. I want to hear you beg for it."
"Please, please Din, make me come on your cock." you drawl, subjugated by lust.
"Mmm - you sound so hot when you beg for me. Keep going and I won't stop."
"Please! I've never been fucked like this, Din." your heart is racing, your breathing is getting laboured and feel the orgasm approaching “I'm so close, Din, so fucking close. Please, don’t stop."
"Come, officer. Keep riding my cock and come on it. I want to hear you scream my name."
"Oh, Din!" you scream his name as the overwhelming force of the orgasm washes over you, a white blaze of bliss making you lose control, uncontrollably spasming and sensually moaning as he doesn't stop giving it to you, groaning in pleasure when he feels how tight and wet you get around him when you come on his dick.
"That's it. That's my good girl." he grunts as he lets you ride your orgasm.
His rhythm slows down as you come back from your high, his hands still firmly on your hips, guiding you, making you slowly grind your pussy against his cock, the cockpit full of your pants.
"Ready for round two, officer?"
He doesn’t even wait for your response, your mind still fogged by the astonishing orgasm he just gave you.
He gets up from the chair and in a second he turns you around, your body slammed against the control panel and the windshield, your wrists held up high by his hand. Your legs are shaking and you can't really seem to stand on your feet properly.
You couldn't possibly be ready for him slamming his dick inside of you all at once, so hard that air leaves your lungs in an exhale. You'd curse at him, but you can't articulate words as he is fucking you so violently, his strong hand on your hip keeping you still. If you thought he was fucking you hard earlier, it's nothing compared to now - feeling all the power of his body giving it to you wild and raw is pleasurably devastating. You couldn't possibly have imagined that what he gave you earlier was merely foreplay for him, just a little tease before making sure you knew who is really in charge and how hard he can fuck you. He was just letting you have a small taste of what would happen after, wanting you to get ready for him, nice and wet and stretched open for his thick cock to split you in half. He grabs a fistful of your hair and you feel his helmet close to your ear.
"What? You're out of breath already? I'm just getting started, officer." he slides it out almost completely and slams it back in so hard you roll your eyes in pleasure.
"Look at you. Loving this dick so much you're rolling your eyes. Gonna fuck you so hard, you'll learn how to fucking behave."
You can't do anything besides taking his cock and letting out choked moans.
"Still regret being stuck here with me? Tell me. Do you still think I'm a coward?" he growls in between thrusts.
You can barely drawl a moan in response and he chuckles.
"Yeah, I don't think so. You can't even speak." he mocks you as he pounds into you harder and harder, devastating you, reducing you to a pathetic, moaning mess.
"Who knows if the snow storm has stopped and your partner is looking for you. What if he sees you getting fucked like this?"
You know it's wrong, but the thought turns you on so much that you clench around him, and he feels it.
"Oh, you'd like it? Officer, what do we have here? A little whore?" you hear his dark chuckle as he grips your throat with his hand, bringing you closer to him - the hot, naked skin of your back against his cold beskar armour as he never stops railing you.
Getting called like that in other circumstances, by any other person in the galaxy, would have caused you to shoot them immediately, but now, oh, did that turn you on.
"You like being called that way, don't you? Whore." he whispers softly in your ear, and it drives you insane despite how much you're trying to hide it. He feels your body getting rigid, the vibrations of your throat choking a moan, the way you bite your lip trying not to let one sound out, and you can bet he's loving every second of it.
His other hand starts to rub your clit and that's when you fucking lose it - your mouth opens wide and lets out a loud groan of pleasure.
"Tell me you're my whore and I'll give you the best orgasm of your life."
You hesitate - his request is so degrading, but you want it at the same time. He can sense your indecisiveness and stops drawing circles on your clit and starts going around it, carefully avoiding it.
"N-no. Don't stop. It's unfair!" you whimper.
"Say it."
You try to relieve the ache between your legs by bringing a hand there, but he is quick to stop you and block your wrist behind your back, immobilising you as if you were one of his bounties, getting you even more aroused, so much, in fact, that you let out another groan.
"Don't make me handcuff you." he growls sensually and you immediately picture him fighting criminals every day, used to manhandling thugs and being a badass and you get even more aroused at the thought, and decide to give him whatever he wants.
You mumble those words, barely audible, ashamed but at the same time yielding, desperately and pathetically wanting him to give you what you so achingly crave, in a way that only he can provide. A need that you never even realised existed before he brought you into the highest dimension of pleasure.
"What? I didn't hear you."
"I am your whore." you whisper, annihilated.
"Good girl. Say it again. Louder this time."
"I am your whore, Din! Please, please make me come like this!" you surrender to him completely, defeated by your very body refusing to let this slip away.
"That's my girl. You asked so nicely, I'm gonna give it to you." you hear the satisfaction in his voice as he immediately starts to rub your clit again, driving you close to the edge in no time, your cunt getting tighter in anticipation.
“Shit, I want to come inside of you. I'm so fucking close, officer. You’re gonna patrol the outer rim, flying your Starfighter while my cum drips down your beautiful cunt. You’re gonna feel that and you will think of me the entire time.” he rasps in your ear as you feel his body pushing you further into the transparisteel and then over the edge, making you come screaming his name once again rolling your eyes over your lids, desperately begging him to come inside of you.
His groans get louder and louder as he comes. You feel his is cock pulsing and twitching, thrusting into you, wanting to go as deep as it can go, filling you with his hot release as you clamp erratically around him.
Both of your bodies are spent as you come back from your high, the sound of your laboured breathing fills the cockpit.
"Hey" he pants "keep it inside now. I don't want to see a single drop going to waste. Are we clear?"
You nod and he slips out of you slowly as you obey his order, keeping his release inside of you as you get dressed, feeling it drip between your legs as he walks you back to your ship.
Carson is already there - he has fixed the minor damages your X-wing had sustained when you crashed in the snow, confident in the fact that you found shelter somewhere and that you’re safe and will be back soon.
What he did not expect is for you to show up with the Mandalorian by your side, though.
"Can I have a few words with you?" he asks with a raised brow.
You nod and walk a few steps away from Din, going behind your ship to have some privacy.
"He saved my life." you regretfully admit before he even has a chance to speak, expecting a scolding.
"Listen. I run the tabs on the Razor Crest. It seems like your new friend has an arrest warrant on him for the abduction of a prisoner." he pauses briefly and lets out a sigh "But he has also captured three wanted culprits and tried to save the Lieutenant's life."
"I'd say we let him go this time. I really don't want to file a report about what happened. I hate doing that."
"Is that so?" he asks sarcastically.
"These are trying times, come on."
Carson raises his brow once again, looking at you and then at the armoured menace standing a few steps away from him.
“Fine.” he shrugs, not wanting to dig deeper with regards to your change of mind towards the Mandalorian, then gets back to his ship.
You jump in your X-wing, but before closing the hatch and taking off, you address Din one more time.
"We're even now, Din Djarin. See you next time, and don't get caught."

2. SNOW
DINCEMBER 2022
DIN DJARIN X READER
You coax Din from his spot watching over you, and convince him to rest beside you.
genre: fluff
word count: 1,200
a/n: here’s the second prompt, snow! A day late again, but my concept of time is so bad that this comes as no surprise. I hope you all enjoy!
PREVIOUS || SERIES MASTERLIST

Pale white, thick as a blanket and glowing like the moon, coats everything left to settle. Tree branches once bare have been tucked in for the winter, showcasing a new kind of foliage. From the safety of the cockpit, hidden away behind transparisteel sturdy enough to withstand temperatures far more extreme than the quiet planet beyond the crest could ever reach, you watch the world sleep in.
There hadn’t been this much snow yesterday.
You could hear it falling last night, each flake a near silent plunk as it fell against the Razor Crest. There wasn’t any wind, no harsh whispers against durasteel walls—this was a quiet storm. You imagine the roof of the Crest holds just as much snow as the rocks and logs below, the storm not knowing the starship’s inhabitants were only resting, not hibernating. The steaming cup of caf in your hands ensures that you won’t be going back to sleep any time soon.
Below you, in the hold, Din and Grogu are only just beginning to wake. It’s rare that you are up before them, or at least before Din, who seems to run on little sleep even if his body could use more rest. But last night you just couldn’t relax, too excited by the thought of snow. Not a sharp flurry with biting gusts, nor a pitiful dusting that melts as soon as the flakes make landfall. This was a real snow, with puffy, formless flakes, and even when you couldn’t see them falling, you knew. You could hear it.
By the time the barest hints of light began to turn the clouds from their midnight hue to a deep grey, you found yourself grabbing your favorite mug and climbing the ladder to the cockpit. You haven’t moved since.
You can hear Din talking to Grogu, making one sided conversation as he goes about his morning. The kid babbles back, trying his best to participate, but his meaning is unclear. The two sound well rested, content to enjoy the morning. The scent of fresh caf wafts from the hold up into the cockpit, and you’re almost tempted to go make yourself another cup. You’re just not ready to tear your eyes away from the scene before you.
“Are you up there?” Din doesn’t bother to shout. The door to the cockpit is open, and he knows that anything he says in the hold can be heard with ease.
“I am,” you respond. “It snowed last night.”
Din climbs the ladder, the kid tucked away in his bag on Din’s hip so the Mandalorian can carry the last of his caf with him. You’ve never met anyone who could down a cup as quickly as him.
“We should take Grogu outside. I don’t know if he’s ever seen this much snow before. Even if he has, I think it will be fun for him.” From the corner of your eye you watch Din stroke the kid’s head with a gentle touch, tracing the curve of one petal ear fondly.
“He’s been to Maldo Kreis,” you remind Din, but you know it’s not the same. Nothing good ever comes from a trip to Maldo Kreis.
“Maldo Kreis is a frozen wasteland. This is different.” You hum in agreement, finally turning the chair to face Din and Grogu fully.
“What do you think, kid? Do you want to go play in the snow?” The wide smile and quiet “Ah,” is all the answer you need. Besides, you can’t help but want to play in the snow yourself. There’s something satisfying about being the first living creature to make prints in fresh snow.
“I’ll go get him ready,” Din says before descending down the ladder with the kid, likely making his way to his sleeping nook where all mysteries revolving around the Mandalorian seem to hide.
When you hear Grogu struggling just as much as he had in the Shop, you decide to linger in the cockpit for just a moment longer, enjoying what may be the last glimpse at the scenery before it is disturbed.
It’s only when the muffled swearing and grunts subside that you drop down the ladder yourself, grabbing your new cloak from where it’s folded nicely by your own cot, ready to face the cold once more. It’s warm and soft and perfect, and you smile at the Din as you put it on. It doesn’t take long for the two of you to get ready for your journey beyond the ship.
Din lowers the gangplank.
Before the ramp even settles on the ground, Grogu runs as fast as his tiny legs can carry him down towards the snow. As soon as he reaches the bottom, he all but vanishes into the snow. The pale green of his head hardly peaks out above the top, and if you didn’t know exactly where he was you just might have lost him. Or rather, if it weren’t for the bright red snowsuit shining through even the thickest of the snow, you just might have lost him. The fabric stands in such stark contrast from the white environment that there’s no way not to know where the kid has run off to.
“The red was a good choice,” you say to Din, and he hums in agreement.
You make your own way down the ramp, and Din follows close behind, keeping a watchful eye on both the surrounding woods and the child’s whereabouts.
Each step you take sinks into the snow, the fresh fall climbing up your shins past your boots. You won’t be able to stay out long—the cold against your feet will get to be too much even if your new cloak can keep you warm for longer. And if you’re already feeling the chill then the Child likely is too.
You make your way to a large patch of snow that hasn’t been disturbed by Grogu yet, and allow yourself to fall backwards. A flurry of snowflakes float up around you from the impact. It’s not good packing snow, but that doesn’t detract from your joy. When the flakes begin to fall back towards you, they don’t seem to stop.
“It’s snowing again!” you exclaim.
Grogu makes his way towards you, tired from running around, and falls back into the snow by your side. It’s a rare moment, a quiet one, nearly perfect. There’s just one thing missing.
“Come and join us,” you urge, turning your head to face Din so he knows your request is serious.
“I can’t. Someone has to keep watch.”
“There’s nothing out there.”
“You don’t know that.” The two of you are silent for a moment. You turn your face back towards the sky, smiling as a snowflake catches on your eyelashes. Even if Din chooses not to join you, you’ll still have fun. It doesn’t mean you wouldn’t enjoy the moment much more if he were lying by your side, but that seems like too much to reveal to the man who isn’t supposed to be anything more than just a friend.
“I do. Because you said so. That’s why you brought us here, right? Because it’s safe?” Din sighs, he’s been doing that a lot lately, before finally giving into your request.
He trudges through the snow until he reaches you and Grogu, standing for just a moment before lowering himself to the ground with a low groan. He leans back, the two of you on either side of the child.
The snow keeps falling, not quite silent but nearly so, tucking you in for winter.

Din Djarin and Cobb Vanth riding speeder bikes through the canyons of Tatooine to locate the Krayt dragon terrorizing Mos Pelgo. Image from The Mandalorian, Season 2, Episode 1, The Marshal.
Grogu remembered that trip through the desert with the Mandalorian and the Marshal. He remembered getting blasted by sunshine, bombarded with the wind the bikes generated and pelted with sand, rocks and small bugs that got caught up in that wind. The only good part was that for the most part the bugs were tasty.
As he trotted around their cabin on Nevarro, looking for his drawing supplies, he thought about that ride and what would have made it better. Air conditioning. Yup. That’s right. Although his coverall was pretty good at keeping him comfortable, when you have two stars shining on you all the time it’s pretty easy to get hot. That included the air, the sand, and the surfaces of almost anything. Like speeder bikes.
Nevarro was the same way. Not hot because of two suns. It only had the one, but hot because it had volcanos and lava flows and stuff like that. It was another place that could use air conditioning. Not the whole planet. There were a few places that were nice as they were, but other places, like the High Magistrate’s office were pretty miserable if the wind wasn’t blowing at all.
Grogu wondered why they put up with it. The equipment must exist somewhere. He’d been on the Imp ships more that once and even the old Razor Crest had some sort of heat pump gizmo that kept the place warm and cold as necessary. Well, it had most of the time. Maldo Kreis was an exception. Uff, frozen spiders. Yuck.
Of course that would help make the High Magistrate’s office more comfortable, but what about their cabin or a speeder bike? Hmmm. How would you even do that? A speeder bike was very much an ‘experience the great outdoors’ kind of vehicle. Hot, cold, wind, rain, fog, you name the weather condition and a speeder bike had the same answer for them all: whatever.
Grogu didn’t like that answer. Sure, sometimes he could drop down into whatever pouch, bag, carrier that the Mandalorian was using that day and avoid a good deal of the weather, but Din Djarin couldn’t. Or rather his armor couldn’t. Grogu didn’t have armor or at least not a full set. And Luke never gave him a Jedi cloak to wear. That made sense because Jedi lost them all the time. Grogu might have stayed on Ossus if Luke had offered him one of those instead of Master Yoda’s old lightsaber. A cloak provided protection against many perils. A lightsaber only against one.
But back to what he was thinking about; speeder bikes. Was there anyway to modify a speeder bike so it could be air conditioned? Maybe his dad would know. Grogu hated to admit most days, but Din Djarin had actually seen a lot of stuff and might know the answer.
“Air conditioning? I don’t think I understand what you’re talkin’ about.”
Grogu tried to explain in more detail but all that happened was the person he loved the most in the galaxy laughed out loud and found it hard to stop laughing.
“Buddy, the whole point of a speeder bike is to feel the wind in your face. Or so I’m told. If you enclosed it so you could control the temperature it wouldn’t be a speeder bike. It would be a standard, enclosed, land speeder. You can’t fit one of those in the hold of the Razor Crest.”
Grogu was pretty sure if he had stomped off, annoyed with his dad’s laughter, Din Djarin would have taken his helmet off and wiped tears out of his eyes. Instead, Grogu reminded the tall bounty hunter that they no longer possessed a Razor Crest and you couldn’t put anything other than his hover pram in the N1.
“I am well aware of that and your opinion on its lack of privy. But your pram is a good example of what enclosing a speeder bike might be like. Is that really what you want?”
Hmmm. That was a good question. Did he want an open air speeder bike, made to his size of course, or modifications to his pram? That was a tough one. He knew that a speeder bike, even scaled down for his use, would look really cool. It would also maneuver around obstacles effectively, use almost no power, and make him the envy of the Anzellans.  That was a pretty powerful incentive to just deal with the current design flaws of that vehicle type.
Or, he could do something with his pram. First and foremost he’d stop calling it a pram. Prams were for babies. He wasn’t a baby. Maybe he’d call it a hover bubble. He liked how that sounded. Or a flying pod? A pod racer? Nope. Not a pod racer. He didn’t like the engine layout for those things. The couplings were too exposed and he needed something more compact.  Flight pod? Sure. His dad had a flight pack. Grogu could call it a flight pod. That sounded fast without the baggage.
Then, he would upgrade the seat to provide better support and visibility as well as some much needed adjustability. It needed a cup holder. Racing tripes. Maybe a weapons system? Definitely a sleep mode. But what else?
“Modifications to the pram? Maybe we should put a tinted canopy in? Then you can see where you’re going without getting the sun directly in your eyes? If we did that I could probably fit a little AC unit in it and keep you as cool or warm as you like.”
Yippee!
Sure his dad called it a ‘pram’ instead of a ‘flight pod’ but Grogu didn’t care about the name as much as he cared that he could operate with a closed canopy and still see where he was going. And, unlike a speeder bike, it would protect him from the sand. That stuff just got everywhere! He was surprised that his dad and the Marshal didn’t complain about that more. Some of the Jedi he knew never shut up about that. Uff.

New translation yayyyyy! I was possessed with the need to translate this. I kinda felt like I was losing myself because I haven't been doing things that make me happy lately. I would write "I've been depressed lately" But it feels so redundant at this point. The depression is chronic in nature, so of course it keeps throwing me off my game. Anyone who follows me or knows me knows this by now lol.
Uploading korean translations makes me so nervous! But how else will I get better? Let me know any problems u see! And I did compare with the color coded lyrics translation, mostly because that's the only other one I could find. In the end, they are kinda different but I like mine better.
My friend helped me look this over when my brain started melting from dual language exposure. At some point I get lost in the middle and my grammar just falls apart lmao. So happy to have his help!:)

Popping Pearls and Purple Skies (Din Djarin x f!reader)
Summary: While in your home system, Din takes you to your home planet for your favorite treat.
W/C: 3.6k
Warnings: food mention, Star Wars cursing lol, mentions of physical fighting, mentions of trauma
A/N: okay. this was inspired by me thinking Grogu would love popping boba bc he loved the frog lady’s eggs so much!! I hope I did it okay :) Siruus, reader’s home planet, is supposed to be a mishmash of cultures, none specifically, I just picked cool elements from a variety of cultures!
Tumblr media
One of the delights you missed most from your home planet was, you discovered, practically unattainable on any other planet. You’d scoured far and wide, hoping maybe you’d cross paths with another Siruusian or an admirer of the culture, but found nothing. It was only on Siruus that you could find your favorite drink: a milky tea with popping pearls.
Din knows you miss your home. Late at night, in the hull of the ship, he’d confide that he missed his home planet too. He told you tales of growing up in Aq Vetina, the feather-light and velvety robes that he wore every day, the spicy foods his mother would cook- which later made him a great Mandalorian.
Did you know that the Mandos love spicy food, cyare? We have a whole vocabulary to describe the heat of a dish. It’s traditional. I was raised on it, and the comfort of a burning mouth was a universal sensation: one that reminded me of my real parents and my adoptive clan.
Rarely did the Mandalorian man let his guard down, but never had he completely done so like he has with you. From the moment he hired you to care for his little green son, he’d been entranced by your laughter, the smooth sound of your voice in the language you’d been raised speaking. He caught you teaching the kid some vocabulary, and he’d quiz him on it when you weren’t around. The kid couldn’t speak yet, but he could point and match words to images or objects, which he attributed entirely to you. You were the child’s primary caretaker and kindergarten teacher in one, and Din admired your care and commitment.
Something about you spoke to him, and over time he thinks he came to realize it was the fact that, though you’d never heard of The Way before meeting Din, you were the holistic ideal of a Mandalorian. You valued knowledge and valor, and though you didn’t work in the traditional Mando fields of bounty hunting or working as a warrior, you embodied another aspect: that care for children.
Watching you with the kid was what made him realize he was in love with you. He’d told you everything. When you looked over your shoulder and laughed, the baby watching you too, the gaze was a love Din has never felt but immediately recognized. It hit him and his whole body shuddered, harder than it had when the Maldo Kreis cold had seeped into his bones, even through the beskar. At the same time, he felt too warm in his own skin, like the fever he’d had as a toddler that threatened his life- he’d told you that story too.  Dank Farrik. This was not in the plan.
You had told Din all about your home planet too. You told him of the bright flowers that bloomed in the cold of winter, that released a pollen that made the birds in the area start laying their eggs. He listened intently every time, clinging to every word he told you like he’d never hear that beautiful voice again. He’d hear you singing Siruusian lullabies to the baby, and on nights you missed home.
He’d offered to take you back many times. Any time you were near, there was a standing offer to pop in for a visit. But you’ve always declined; the child and Mando would bring too much attention to your quiet little planet, you explained. That was only partially true, so you didn’t feel as bad lying by omission to Din. You’d neglected to mention, every time, that this was your life now, and more specifically that you never want to leave his side again.
Din really is something. You’d never even heard of Mandalorians before he swept you off your planet, never understood the intricate Creed and their strong beliefs. It didn’t matter to you, that you couldn’t see his face; at least at first. Of course you’d respect the slightly terrifying man’s customs.
But over time you’ve fallen for him, and that’s made everything just a little harder. The man seemingly made of steel was warm and gentle beneath it, with you and the child. He’d wrangle a bounty into the carbonite freezer then tenderly tuck a flower he found behind your ear, calling you sweet names in Mando’a that you didn’t understand. The juxtaposition of the man’s very being- covered in impenetrable, freezing metal to hide an ooey-gooey center like that of a warm pastry- was exciting and beautiful to you.
How could you not fall in love? The three of you became a little family, even as you joined Din on the quest of returning your little green son to his people. You’d treated the baby as your own son, the way Din did too. You’d tried to shepherd him away from the Frog woman’s eggs, only to find him munching on them moments later, scolded him with love and promptly hidden the container.
That day made you miss home even more. The eggs reminded you of the popping pearls you loved so much- no wonder the kid loved them. You’d never eat the Frog’s eggs, of course, but you’d sung the baby to sleep that night in the hull of the ship, another lullaby from your youth. Maybe next time you’d take Din’s offer to visit home seriously. Maybe. There was still another reason you didn’t want to return: if you came home, you weren’t sure you could leave again.
Now you’re in hyperspace, nestled into the small bunk, your child snoozing softly above you with gentle grunts and snorts of sleep. Din is up in the cockpit and you can’t sleep. You wonder if he’s awake too. Maybe you’ll go check.
Sliding on warm slippers to pad your bare feet from the cold metal of the floor, you climb the ladder to the cockpit and see Din sitting in the captain’s chair. You’re unsure if he’s awake or not; it’s hard to tell through the beskar. His shoulders shift a little as he hears you moving and you can tell he’s awake. “Hi. Couldn’t sleep,” you admit as you assume your regular position. The chairs move with the pull of a lever, and you scoot yours closer to Din and prop your feet on his arm rest.
Din nods, resting against the chair. “Me neither. The kid?”
“Asleep,” you confirm and nod, slumping down in your seat.
It’s nice and quiet between the two of you, a relaxed silence as the stars fly past and the Crest hums its low rumble of engines and filters. Just being in his presence soothes you more than being alone in that coffin of a bunk. If you think this is calming, you ponder, just his presence, imagine his arms around you while you sleep. Imagine his warm skin beneath the beskar surrounding you and radiating heat.
He’s thinking the same thing. You look impossibly soft and warm. Your plush skin prickles with the cold of the cockpit and Din wants to put an ungloved hand over it and let the heat of his flushed body sink into yours. He doesn’t. He just stares off at the stars. “We’re approaching your home system,” he murmurs softly. “Would you like to visit?”
Well damn. You hadn’t expected to be confronted with the question so soon, and you’re not quite sure how to answer. “I don’t know.”
It’s quiet again. Din’s silence invites you to speak your inner monologue, to throw your tangled thoughts into the open so he can help unknot them with his nimble mind. In response to his lack of words, which say as much as any sentence, you respond. “I haven’t been there in so long. I don’t know if I want to go back. I like my life now, and I’m scared I’ll want to stay if we visit.”
Din nods as you speak, processing the meanings of your words. “Well,” he begins, “what if I rephrase it like this: would you like us to visit?”
Us. What the kriff does that entail? The three of you, your little family, perhaps? You and Din as friends, as coworkers? Or as something more… your mind spins and you can’t make sense of it, so you give it up. “What does that mean?”
Din turns his chair to face you, moving your legs to drape across his lap. Even through the gloves, he holds back a shiver as he rests his hands atop your shins. “We’ll go, all three of us. If you like your life now, we’ll be your reminders of it.”
Your mouth curves into a warm smile, your body feeling soft and fuzzy all over. “How kind.”
“I’ll even buy you that tea you ramble about,” he offers.
Gasping in excitement, you clap your hands together. “Will you try it? Oh, Din, you’ll love it, it’s the most delicious thing in the galaxy.”
“We’ll see about that,” he chuckles through the modulator, a sound you wish you could hear without the mechanical suppressor.
Popping up, you kiss the top of his beskar-clad head in excitement before you can stop yourself. “Thank you, Din.”
“Anything for you, cyare,” he says with a certain warmth to his voice, a large hand finding your waist. “Go get some rest, lie down. We’ll be there in about half a day.”
“Only if you rest too,” you tell him and your hand rests over his. It’s the most he’s ever touched you purposefully, and now all you want is for him to slide that hand back until he’s wrapping you in his muscular arms. Din nods and you pat his forearm. “Sweet dreams.”
-
The ramp comes down and your mouth forms a soft ring in excitement. It’s a beautiful day, the nearest sun making the atmosphere the beautiful purple you grew up under. The oranges and yellows of the architecture surround you, and you instinctively clutch the Mandalorian’s hand. “Welcome to my home,” you tell him with a grin and lead him down.
Your little green child is strapped to your chest in a baby carrier, a birikad in Mando’a, and he looks around in wonder, squealing excitedly. As you walk through the streets of the small city, vendors call in Siruusian, a language Din is slowly learning from you. He thinks he recognizes a few words here or there.
Venturing to the side, a stall sells small animals made of a gorgeously embroidered fabric. You had many of these as a child; your favorite was a blue and silver bantha, an exotic animal you’d never seen before your adventures with Din. The child coos at the menagerie in front of him and you squat so he can look at them.
“Toata,” you coo in Siruusian, a word to mean little one, “can you pick the frog?”
That’s one of the words you worked on with him. A tiny, green, three-fingered hand grabs a gorgeous yellowy-brown frog and holds it up in triumph. “Good job, cutie! Aren’t you a smart little thing?” you grin and kiss his forehead. “Is that the one you want?”
Din watches from a few meters back, grinning beneath the helmet. When the child nods excitedly and squeals, he almost laughs softly at the beautiful sight. You pay for the frog and Din meanders over, the baby already chewing on a long leg of the plush.
He wants to see you like that for the rest of his life: glowing with excitement, the little kid strapped to your chest, absolutely at ease and relaxed in the place you used to call home. “You want one too?” you ask.
He shakes his head at first, but after a little haggling, Din purchases himself a copper and yellow blurrg and a mudhorn made of silver for you. The symbolism of the mudhorn, of Clan Djarin, is not lost on you. It makes your heart flit nervously around your ribcage as you wander through the market, making your little mudhorn and the baby’s frog pretend to fight. As always, the littlest member of Clan Djarin triumphs over the mighty mudhorn.
An aromatic smell wafts through the air and your face lights up to see a stand selling your favorite beverage. Din spots it too and makes his way over, getting in the line, his hand holding yours once again. This time, he initiated it. You like that. It makes you giggle and squeeze his fingers softly.
“What do you usually order?” he asks you.
You frown and scan the menu. You explain your drink to him, an orange-colored, sweet and herbal milk tea with your favorite citrusy popping pearls in the bottom. He asks what you think he’d like and you pick a drink for him: a blue, warmly-spiced milk tea with the same pearls. “It’s not the proper drink without it,” you explain.
Picking the baby from his carrier to face you, you ask him questions by the process of elimination. “Okay, toata, do you like… mushfruit?” He makes a noise of disproval. You knew he hated that one; you wanted to ensure he was listening. “No? How about…” you pretend to ponder it. “How about panga?”
The baby squeals in excitement. The green fruit has always been his favorite when you and Din require him to eat his fruit. “Wonderful, and a panga milk tea with you. Do you remember froggie’s eggs?” You ask him, pointing to the frog toy he holds. He tilts his head in confusion.
“The snackies I said no?” That clue does it. He nods, cooing and giggling. “These taste like those! You’ll love it.”
The rest of the time in the line is quiet, shuffling forward slowly to reach the stand. “Is it what you’d hoped?” Din asks after a while.
You nod and smile. “As soon as I get my tea, it will be.”
“And you… you don’t want to stay?”
“Nope,” you agree, popping the p with your lips.
He doesn’t know quite what to say. He’s not the wordsmith you are. “Well. I’m glad. I, uh. I’d miss you if you left.”
The words are simple but they warm your heart. “I’d miss the two of you far too much to leave,” you assure him. “For different reasons, respectively.”
Your flirtation is more than mild, but it hangs in Din’s mouth like a spicy Mandalorian food. He knows what you imply, and the thought that you could feel the same practically sends him into orbit, above Siruus’s atmosphere and next to one of its 4 moons. He can’t respond. He just tightens his grip on your hand.
Once you’ve acquired the drinks, Din holding his and the child’s, the three of you make your way back to the Razor Crest so Din can enjoy the drink too. Walking up the ramp, you sigh as the air-controlled atmosphere warms your slightly-chilled skin from being outside for so long in the Siruusian spring.
You unpack the kid from his carrier, and grin as he toddles to his father, making grabby hands for his green drink. “Oh my, toata,” you tease. “Your drink is the same color as you!”
Din laughs softly, and sets the drink on the floor for him. The baby tries to hold it and walk but the cup is too tall to move with his tiny body. You lift it for him and move it so he can sit in a circle with you and Din, cross-legged on the floor.
The baby plops down in front of his drink then realizes it’s too tall for him to sip from the thick straw while seated. The baby makes a little whine of frustration and you scoop up the kid, putting him in your lap. You hold the cup for him, and his two tiny hands grab the straw to drink from. The baby squeaks as he pops a pearl in his mouth. It’s just like the froggy eggs, and he couldn’t be more excited.
Your free hand holds your drink, and you close your eyes in happiness when the first sip of your tea reaches your tongue. You make a content little moan at the flavor, then open your eyes to see the child vigorously slurping up the drink. “Woah, little man. Slow down.”
Din just watches the two of you, smiling to himself. When your eyes return to him, he lifts his drink. “I’m not really supposed to do this,” he admits as he grabs the edge of his helmet. Both you and the child watch in bewilderment as he lifts his helmet just enough to expose the bottom of his nose, his lips and chin.
You’d never really processed that Din would be… well, so human. The strip of his face, exposed, reveals warm skin, dark stubble, and lips that look ridiculously soft. It’s a sight to see, a Mandalorian cross-legged on the floor and sipping tea with popping pearls. It makes you grin, and both you and the baby lean in closer to try and look under the helmet further.
“That’s as much as you get,” Din teases as he lowers the helmet, once more covering his entire face.
You frown, but the excitement of Din trying your favorite treat overwhelms it for now. “What do you think?” You ask.
Din tilts his head and does exactly that: thinks. “It’s very good,” he nods as he looks at the child, nearly halfway done with his green milk-tea. “I really like it. That’s delicious.”
“Yay,” you smile and sip your own drink again, sighing. The three of you continue like that for a while, sitting together and drinking your tea. Every time he lifts his helmet, you consider those plush lips, the scruff coating his defined jaw and chin. When his tea is gone, you frown to realize the moment of intimacy, of seeing just a little of his face, is over.
The kid is tuckered out from his day. You put the baby to bed in his hammock over the bunk, kissing him goodnight and singing him a lullaby as you rock the knit cradle. He falls asleep quickly,  tummy full of a delicious treat very similar to his favorite snack. While you put the child to bed, Din pilots you safely out of the sky harbor and away from Siruus, out of the purple-tinted sky and back into the darkness of space followed by hyperdrive.
You climb up to the cockpit, entering and standing behind Din’s captain chair. “I had a wonderful time today. Thank you.” You put your hands on his pauldron-covered shoulders.
“Thank you,” he insists. “I’d never go there for any other reason. The drink was wonderful and the kid absolutely loved everything about it.” “Maybe we’ll have to vacation there sometime,” you chuckle, spotting Din’s little toy blurrg peeking out from a pocket on his utility belt.
Din turns and stands from his chair, looking at you through that black t-visor. You’re not sure why he does it; in all honesty, he isn’t either. You stare into the helmet, where you suspect and hope his eyes are. “You’re very handsome under there,” you tell him, putting a hand on the divot of his helmet, where the beskar caves inward over his cheeks.
“I’m nothing special,” he shakes his head, a hand covering yours. “Nowhere as special or as beautiful as you.”
Heat rises in your skin, blood flowing closer to the surface. “That’s not true, Din.”
“It is. You’re the most beautiful creature I’ve seen in the galaxy,” he murmurs, his other hand cupping your cheek through leather gloves.
“Well, thank you,” you laugh softly, almost nervously, “but I meant you’re very special. I haven’t even seen all of your face and I know you’re absolutely gorgeous beneath that helmet.” You pause, tracing the curves of the beskar. “What color eyes do you have? I want to finish the mental picture.”
“Brown,” Din breathes out, barely able to control himself with you this close.
“Din?”
“Mesh’la.”
“Can… can you do what you did with your helmet to drink the tea?”
He lifts it just enough, just exposing those goddamn taunting lips and the scruffy jaw. “Like this?”
“Exactly,” you exhale before cupping his soft jaw, feeling the stubble beneath your palms as you press your lips to his. Those lips are a little dry but warm and strong, just like you’d assume the rest of him is. He puts a hand on your waist and pulls you in close, kissing you back deeply.
The beskar right above his lips makes it more difficult but not impossible. He lifts the helmet a little higher so he can tilt his head to the side, can kiss you with the energy and passion you’re putting into it. Mentally, he adds this to his lists of favorite tastes: spicy Mandalorian cuisine, your favorite tea with popping pearls, and you.
It lasts a while before you break away and Din lowers his helmet all the way once more. You breathe heavily from the fervor of the kiss, lips swollen and damp. Maker, he wishes this visor had a photo capability to take a picture of the way you look. “Come rest with me. Please, Din.”
Din can’t say no to that. He retreats downstairs with you, strips himself of the beskar save for the helmet, and snuggles into your side. Your wish comes true then and there, when you learn that he’s as good of a cuddler as you’d hoped. “Goodnight, Din. Thank you,” you murmur.
“Goodnight, mesh’la. Thank you more.”
The baby above you gives a little snort in his sleep. That’s the last thing you remember before falling asleep in his arms.

For the Best (Din Djarin x Reader) | PART 1
Tumblr media
PART 2 ⇒
Rating: G (General Audience)
Type: Angst
Summary: Din has put his life at risk one too many times in order to protect Y/N. But how much is too much?
Word Count: 2.3k
Warnings: CHAPTERS 14 & 15 SPOILERS
A/N: this a long one, so strap in. and fun fact, that’s my favorite gif of din, ever. something about the ruffled hair, the worried eyes and the facial hair just hit the spot. (UPDATE: Hi so apparently people want this to be a series??? So part 2 is in the works but because this was intended to be a one shot apologies if it seems rushed)
MASTERPOST | REQUEST HERE | KO-FI
✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸ ✸
Din would give his life to protect the ones he loved. It wasn’t just a case of honor and duty anymore but rather of pure unfiltered love, which he’d never admit out loud or phantom of letting you know. Most of the times he’d do it so unconsciously that it was as if a primal instinct took over him when it came to protecting either of you. Sure you were a grown woman, with amazing hunter skills but for him, you were something that he had to protect, without making it too knowledgeable to the people around him.
That is why he was quite reluctant to take you along with Mayfield to the hidden Imperial rhydonium refinery on Morak to get Moff Gideon's ship coordinates.
“Din, I’ll be fine.”
“What if-”
“No discussions. I’m going.”
And he just silently nodded his helmet in a yes ma’am manner that made the whole crew on the back of The Slave side eye each other.
Once inside the officer's mess hall, where the terminal Mayfield needed is in, he notices his former commanding officer, Valin Hess, and fears being recognized, refusing to step into the hall.
“This is your part of the job. You go in there and you get the bloody coordinates.” you hiss at him through your own helmet.
“My part of the job? I drove us here while under attack and saved our asses, and you have the nerve to say this is my part of the job? No way I’m going in there.” he looks between you and Din.
“I’ll do it then.” you say decidedly, but before you could take a single step into the hall, Din grabs your upper arm.
“No.”
“What do you mean no? He won’t do it and you’ have to take your helmet off which is not happening.”
“Why would I have to take my helmet off?” he questions through his modulated voice.
“All the terminals in this refinery can only be accessed after a facial recognition scan. I noticed it while we were making our way through the halls.” you explain causing Mayfield to throuw an impressed look in your direction.
All three of you fall in silence for a few seconds, considering how you would go about reaching the terminal and before you could say another word, Din steps away from you and Mayfield not even giving you time to process what was happening or try to stop him.
With just a few strides he was standing in front of the target terminal pressing a few buttons and for two times getting an automated voice stating facial scan required. Sensing his distress, you try to walk to him only to have Mayfield’s hand forcefully grabbing you and pulling you back to where you were standing.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” he whisper-yells, scolding you.
“I’m trying to help.” you answer with the same voice tone, releasing your arm from his grasp.
“He can take care of himself.” you don’t say anything but instead turn your head in Din’s direction, just like Mayfield as you hear the facial recognition being asked for a third time, initiating a countdown.
Din reaches for his helmet and you cut your own breathing. and there’s a slight buzz in your ears. The world stops spinning when your eyes catch the back of his head and the curling of his brown hair strands there resting. You can’t believe what he just did, exposing himself like that and introducing his face to virtually every security control in the galaxy.
Even though his back was still facing you, there was almost a sense of disrespect in looking at him, almost as if you’d caught him undressing.
Then, from the corner of your eye you can see Hess approaching him.
“Trooper!” Hess shouted to him. “Hey, trooper!”
Din turned his head in Hess’s direction and as soon as your eyes caught a glimpse of his skin, you looked away - this didn’t feel right. He didn’t have a say on whether or not he’d want you to look at him and you didn’t want him to be even more uncomfortable than what he already was.
“Pay attention when a superior addresses you. What’s your designation?”
“Transport crew,” he said. No helmet modulator whatsoever and his honey like voice slipped so easily into your ears.
“What?”
“My designation is Transport Copilot.” his voice said again and you could hear to slight tremble in his statement.
“No, son. What’s your TK number?” Hess insisted
“My TK number... is...” he tried but nothing comes out, and you know that this might be the moment that gets all three of you killed. That is until Mayfield steps in front of you and quickly strides to Din’s side.
“This is my Commanding Officer TK-593, sir,” Mayfield quickly says, and gave Din a look of reassurance before turning in your direction and motioning with his head for you to come closer. Slowly, with the riffle still under your harm you approach the three men all looking at you. “And this is my First Lieutenant TK-234. I’m Imperial Combat Assault Transport Lieutenant TK-111, and Sir, I’m afraid you’ll have to speak up to him a little bit, since his vessel lost pressure in Taanab.”
You are standing next to Din and you now realize how he was only a few inches taller than you without the beskar armor, his chin just little above your eye line. For a moment you imagine how enjoyable it would be to lay your head against his shoulder or nuzzle against his neck, heights perfectly matching.
“What’s your name, Officer?”
“We just call him Brown Eyes,” said Mayfield with a mocking undertone in his voice “Isn’t that right, Officer?”
Brow eyes you thought. Brown eyes... that suits him.
With your peripheral vision you can see Din slightly nodding with his head. You still din’t dare to look at him.
“C’mon, let’s go fill out those TPS reports, so we can go recharge the power coils-” Mayfield started, trying to get done and over with this situation
“You’re not dismissed.” you all froze.
“You the tank troopers that delivered the shipment of rhydonium?”
“Yes, sir.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Yes, sir” Din was the last to answer and you could feel the vibrations of his voice next to you.
“Well, you three managed to be the only transport today to deliver their shipment. Come with me, hmn? Let’s get a drink... Brown Eyes.”
As soon as he turns his back Mayfied follows suit and you can see Din looking at you, once again, through the corner of your eyes, but you look straight ahead and walk behind Mayfield.
What you didn’t see is that you left a hurt man behind, one that wished for you to be the first person to look him in the eyes but that now thought that he was so hideous that you couldn’t even bear the sight of him.
Sitting down on a nearby table, Mayfield took the seat in front of Commander Hess and you to his right, leaving the seat in front of you free for Din to take his place at the table.
“So,” said Hess, “What shall we toast to, boys, and girl? I can blather on, about ‘to health’ or ‘to success’, but... I’d like to do something a little less rote.” he turns to Din “Where you from, Brown Eyes?”
“How ‘bout a toast to Operation Cinder,” Mayfield intervenes.
“Now,” says Hess “That’s what I’m talking about.”
“No,” Mayfield continues. “No, you don’t get it - I lived it. I was in Burnin Konn.”
“Burnin Konn?” “Mm.”
“That was a hard day. I had to make many... unpleasant decisions.”
An exchange between the two men initiates but all you’re focusing on is keeping your eyes looking down at either the table or your drink avoiding Din at all costs. But then, feeling his eyes practically burning a hole in your forehead you realize how much of an asshole you are acting like right now.
This man trusts you with his life. And you with his. You both had made sure to make that known a few weeks ago when you almost got killed by this enormous Ice Spider in Maldo Kreis and he told you to instead of running away from the spider to try and run into and under it.
“Are you crazy?” you cried out
“Do you trust me?” he asked
“With my life.”
“Me too. Then do it.”
And so, your eyes start to trail their way across the table. To his chest plate. To his neck. To the bottom of his face, noticing his light stubble and mustache. To his eyes. And then, just like that, wind knocked out off you.
Your furrowed and anxious brows soften and your teeth release you lips, that you were biting trying to not think too much. Your whole body softens and as you look at him in adoration.
And he is looking at you. Adoringly. These two people that have known each other for so long, longed for each other for so long are finally meeting each other, actually seeing each other for the first time. For him, it’s the first time he sees the true color of the flush of you skin or how blood tinted your lips are as he doesn’t have the slight darkness of his helmet distorting them.
He wants to kiss you, so bad.
“You see, kids,” Hess says snapping you both from that moment “Everybody thinks they want freedom, but what they really want... is order. And when they realize that, they’re gonna welcome us back with open arms.”
He lifted his glass, and Mayfield chuckles. Both you and Din look worriedly at him knowing how he is about to go out of his mind
“To the Empire.” He drank and Mayfield fires.
You and Din look shocked at each other before turning to Mayfield.
“What the hell?!” you scold him.
Suddenly, stormtroopers appeared from all sides, and the three of you grabbed your weapons, starting to shoot everyone on sight, Din in front of you. Eventually, they were all down and there were just the three of you standing in the room.
Mayfield jaunts ahead “Come on, let’s get out of here.”
Turning back to Din, you meet him looking down at you, his expression soft again. You reach for his helmet, pressing it against his chest.
“You did what you had to do. I never saw your face.” He looked back at you.
“Y/N...”
“It’s okay. If there is a next time that I can look at you, I want it to be out of want. Not out of need.”
He looks at you, actually thinking about whether or not he’d go back to hiding himself from you but ending up nodding and putting it back on.
“Thank you.” he says voice muffled by the helmet.
“You’d do the same for me.”
Yes he’d do.
Tumblr media
You sat in the main chamber of the Slave next to Mayfield as the rest of the crew conversed in the upper room trying to come up with the next part of the rescue plan.
“You’re going to get him killed.” your head turns in his direction.
“What?” you question not sure of what you heard.
“You’re going to get him killed. Today, that man went to the terminal to prevent you from going. He put himself in front of you, shooting at a whole battalion of stormtroopers. He stayed behind so that you could be the first to climb into this very ship.”
You look down, remembering today’s events.
“He just did that for you, and Cara told me that yesterday he almost made a roast of himself when he thought you were on the Razor Crest when it got blown up. He was actually going to walk up into a ball of fire because he thought you were there. Don’t you get it? He might be one of the most feared bounty hunters in the galaxy but that man goes completely irrational when it comes to you.”
“What are you trying to say?” you asked confused and trying to mask the hurt in your voice.
“I know this is going to hurt to hear but... maybe you should go away. At least until he gets the kid back so that he can concentrate only on that.”
“Are you saying that I’m a distraction?”
“Your not a distraction to him. You’re his priority. And that has proved itself to be beyond dangerous.”
He stands up without another word and climbs to the room above, letting you to sit with your thoughts, going over the exchange that just happened.
Tumblr media
Boba had stationed the ship on some random planet for the night and while everyone was sound asleep, preparing for what they had to face the next day, you spent the past hours pacing in your room, Mayfield’s words still echoing in your head.
That’s why you were now standing next to your bed, a bag with all of your belongings on top of it. This is for the Best. If I stay he’ll probably get killed. You repeat over and over, recalling all the times that Din risked himself for you, the ones that no one but the both of you knew because they weren’t there to witness them.
This is for the Best.
Decidedly, you sling the bag over and across your shoulders, silently opening the door to the outside of your chamber and sliding it close. It’s better this way: to leave without saying goodbye, during the dark of the galactic night. A goodbye will wreck you and a goodbye would make you stay.
This is for the Best.
You repeat one last time, once you step out of the ship into the frosty night air, taking one last look back, before walking away, wishing that the next morning people wouldn’t panic and rather understand your decision; wishing that Din would some day forgive you.
This is for the Best

‧𓍢ִ໋☕ ׂ 𓈒 ⋆ ۪ Akaza x GN!Reader~Modern coffee shop AU ‧𓍢ִ໋☕ ׂ 𓈒 ⋆ ۪
I’ve had the premise of this idea brewing in the back of my mind for sometime after reading a similar fic I can no longer find ;-; Rengoku is behaving as a protective older sibling to reader. Akaza is a flirty meanace but still drinks his respect women juice.
This is a fantasy setting in a fantasy world children please don’t leave with men you don’t really know. EVER. At the very lease exercise caution and tell someone where you’re going.
No warnings, flustered reader and a sweet kiss at the end
Playlist listened to while writing: Lowkey imagined it was the music playing the lobby of the coffee shop

“Thank you and have a nice day!” (Y/N) smiled brightly as they bid another satisfied customer farewell. Kyōjurō Rengoku stood beside them beaming his usual smile. “Excellent (Y/N)! I’m always happy to see you getting along with the guests!” They returned his warm smile, opening their mouth to form a polite response. But they were caught off mid breath by the sound of something crashing in the back room of the store followed by Zenitsu infamous screamed. The two of them could hear the ‘hushed whispers’ of Tanjiro and Inosuke bantering back and forth. “Oh my, I’ll be right back! Just holler at me if you need anything!” And with that Rengoku disappeared to investigate the trio’s whereabouts.
Chuckling to themselves, (Y/N) turned their attention back to the front counter. Seeing a figure right out of the corner of their eye, they let out a sharp gasp. Finding pastel lashes and bright ocean eyes starring directly them along with a charming smile. Recognizing these eyes, they quickly relaxed, reforming their customer smile. “A-Akaza! Sorry, you startled me…. Again.” His smirk grew while he leaned himself onto the counter. Leaning his chin into his palm promptly closing the already short space between them to a mere few inches. (Y/N) concluded he must have just finished at the gym judging by the snug black shirt he sported and his hair slicked back as if he showered a few moments ago. What also gave him away was a specific cologne he used after he visited the gym. (Y/N) had picked up on the fact he only wore it *after* his work out. The scent noticeably missing on the few occasions he came before his routine.
“Oh my apologies precious, I just can’t help myself sometimes.” He gave a low laughter that stirred (Y/N) stomach. He always managed to make them a flustering mess within the few minutes of being in their presence. They cleared their throat quickly to gather themselves, though thier eyes never moved from his. They admitted… his eyes were easy to admire.
“What can I get for you today Akaza?” His eyes seamlessly flickered up to the menu above, grazing over the many things they offered within a few seconds before retuning his gaze back to (Y/N). “Hmmm, I was thinking of trying something new today…” A michevious look danced across his eyes lashes. Heat blossomed on (Y/N) face instantly when they caught his knowing smirk. Yet, they still dared to play into his little antics… it made the work day a little more exciting with him around. “W-what did you have in mind.”
Akaza snapped his fingers suddenly, as if the best idea had just entered his mind. “I know! Why don’t we try that new ice cream parlor after your done here. My treat! What do you think about that?” The proposition took them by complete surprise. They fumbled with a response at first, stopped speaking, taking a deep breath in. And once again speaking. “W-With me?”
He nodded, pointing a gentle finger at them. “Yes, with you. No pressure though-“
“Yes.” They cut him off unintentionally. “That actually sounds lovely.” They caught themselves by surprise with their answer. But they trusted their gut instinct Akaza wouldn’t do any sort of malice to them. (Y/N) confirmation causes a genuine smile to uplift on Akaza’s face, one they’d never seen him make before. Another waft of his scent invading (Y/N) senses. It was so… lovely. Mentally they swooned
“Wonderful! I’m so glad to hear! What time to you get off precious?”
Discussing the details with Akaza, they confirmed with each other they’d meet back up at the coffee shop a little after 4pm. That was also the exact moment Rengoku made emerged back up to the front with noticeable dark coffee stains all over his nicely pressed shirt. However, all those thoughts went right out the window as he locked eyes with Akaza. Uh oh… he defiantly wasn’t happy to see him. And yet, Akaza simply waved cheerily at him as if they were life long friends. “Kyōjurō!”
“Akaza.”
A chill shiver ran over (Y/N) spine they way Rengoku frowned toward the man in question. Rengoku never, ever frowned at anyone, no matter how difficult they were being… unless that persons name was Akaza. They were unsure why Rengoku disliked him so much but at this point they were a bit too afraid to ask. “I trust you are behaving for my employee.”
“Of course! I was just about to leave actually…” He pivoted on his feet toward the door but stopped to turn his attention back to (Y/N) one last time. Sending a charming wink their way. “I’ll see you later precious~”
They melted right in their place with that singular wink. That was a enough serotonin for them to last for weeks. (Y/N) pinning was interupted however with the way Rengoku peered at them with concern. “You’re seeing him after your shift today?”
“J-just for ice cream a few blocks over. Nothing serious!” They responded hastily, raising their hands in front of them in self defense. Saying it aloud did make it have other implications or as if they were walking into a lions den- still, they were standing firm on their gut with this one. “Do you still have Mitsuri’s number?” They nodded at the mention of one of their other co-workers. “Good, good, I don’t want to tell you how to live you life, so I’m not going to. But would you at least let Mitsuri know where you are and when you get home?”
A smile broke out onto (Y/N) face. Rengoku was always so protective of his workers, much like an older brother. The concern warmed their heart. “Of course Rengoku! I promise!”
The tension of the room disappeared along with his frown as his signature smile returned to his face. “Very good! Do enjoy yourself (Y/N).”
☕︎༄
The entire interaction with Akaza after work was more than delightful. They sent the text to Misturi as promised to Rengoku. Then, Akaza lead the both of them to the ice cream shop just a few blocks over. They took turns talking about their days and learning a few things about each other as they walked. (Y/N) rather enjoyed Akaza’s company and was exstatic to learn he ran a Dojo of his own on the other side of town. Which was the reason he was always working so hard on his physique with long hours at the gym. He also listened attentively with interest when (Y/N) spoke about the things in their life.
Once they arrived at the ice cream shop, it seemed a mountain of other people had the same idea on the warm summer evening. (Y/N) shifted uncomfortable between their two feet upon viewing how many people there were. Something Akaza’s keens eyes picked up on quickly. “If you tell me what flavor you like, Ill get it for you. And maybe you can find us a table outside?” They blinked at him for a second before happily agreeing. ‘How sweet of him to offer.’
It didn’t take long for Akaza to return with two single scoop cones in his hand. One of Strawberry for himself and the other of (Y/N) preferred flavor. “For you (Y/N), my precious.” He spoke, handing them their cone before having a seat across from them. Something was a bit different from the way Akaza carried himself now then when they were together in the shop. The mushy flirty comments had stopped, though a content smile did remain on his face. His shoulders were far more relaxed and he spoke with (Y/N) more so as a friend. It was nice to see this side of him.
“Penny for your thoughts?” Akaza questioned between licks of his strawberry ice cream. Realizing they’d been starring, (Y/N) averted their eyes and took another long lick of their dessert before answering. “I was just thinking how nice this is. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this side of you before.” This comment rippled a chuckle from Akaza. He leaned back in his chair in such a way (Y/N) already knew they was blushing all over again… How was he so handsome!
“Funny, I was thinking the same about you. I’ve picked on Rengoku so much he loathes me when he sees me and the other workers tend to ignore my gestures.. But you… I don’t know… friendly. First time I saw you I knew you were different from his other employees.”
“Different enough to ask me on a date?” He froze mid lick and his eyes blew up wide open. (Y/N) heart raced with panic they may have crossed a boundary. “S-Sorry, I was only joking-“
“Hahaha! See! I knew you were fun!” He leaned his head into his opposing palm with a teasing smirk on his lips. (Y/N) breathed a sigh of relief despite the still wild beating of their heart. Together, they enjoyed the rest of their time chatting about casual things. Eventually an hour turned to too and soon enough the sun was beginning to set. Akaza offered to walk (Y/N) home since it had gotten dark on them. They felt comfortable enough to wrap their arm around his bicep in which he happily allowed them too.
They both agreed on a second date 💐

Hi 🤗 If you are still answering, how about this for a made up title: Northern Lights To Guide Our Way?
Hi! Thank you for the title 💝
Ooo I picture a Din fic where they crash land on Maldo Kreis like in Episode 10, except instead of the whole trapped in the caverns with ice spiders nightmare, you and Din decide to brave the frigid temperature and head for the nearest settlement for supplies. However during the journey it becomes apparent your clothes are failing to keep your warm, resulting in you collapsing and--because I'm a sucker for this--Din is forced to carry you piggyback style because the alternative is leaving you behind and there's no way in hell he's doing that. And despite also freezing, he does what he can to keep you awake by talking to you, pointing out the beautiful light display in the night sky overhead, saying they'll guide the way, just keep watching them cyar'ika, we're almost there.

The Razor Crest, pursued by New Republic X-wings on Maldo Kreis. Image from The Mandalorian, Season 2, Episode 2, The Passenger. Calendar by DataWorks.
Grogu loved the Razor Crest. It had been a great ship. It had taken them on a lot of adventures and somehow managed to fly again by the time they needed to get the heck away. Like the time the Mandalorian tried to avoid, evade the pilots from the New Republic and they had a particularly hard landing on that ice ball planet, Maldo Kreis.
The poor Razor Crest. Almost every bit of her was damaged during that “landing”. Her passengers were fine, which had been the one good thing that came out of that whole fiasco.
Grogu wondered not for the first or the last time, why the Mandalorian was so happy to bring bad people in under a bounty puck, but really, really, seemed to have a deep and profound distrust of authority? Did he think they were all corrupt? Did he think that they were all impatient? Or did he just think that whatever he was actually up to at the time was too complicated to explain to anyone else?
Of course, Grogu knew that the Mandalorian seemed to have a habit of making friends with shady people. Not necessarily evil people, but people who really didn’t seem all that keen on rules and regulations and following them the way other folks were expected to follow them.
Grogu found that down right hilarious. This Mandalorian, who voluntarily followed a Creed that didn’t let him take his helmet off in front of other people, was a bit of a scoff law. Grogu hadn’t expected that. He expected his tall friend to follow all the laws just like he followed the Creed. If he couldn’t do that, what was the point?
Sure, Grogu knows what you’re going to say. There are bad laws out there. Laws that make no sense. Laws that cause more harm than good. Laws that disadvantage one group over another. Grogu understood that. He had been trained by the Jedi after all. Then you change the laws. That of course takes time and the Mandalorian clearly didn’t want to spend his time gathering signatures on petitions. And he definitely wasn’t going to be speaking at zoning meetings to ensure that the slaughter house wasn’t built right next to the school. After all, Grogu really wasn’t school aged, so those other kids could fend for themselves or find their own Mandalorian guardians.
Grogu had to wonder what it had been like for Din Djarin growing up on Concordia. The only rules he followed were likely the ones set by the Mandalorians who lead the Children of the Watch. Whoever they were. The Mandalorian had never mentioned them by name.
Now, whoever they were, the Armorer must have trusted them enough to accept Din Djarin into the Tribe. He could have been like Bo-Katan. But whatever test she had put his guardian to, Din Djarin had passed with flying colors. The Armorer hadn’t cared that the bounty hunter wasn’t born on Mandalore, for instance. He must have told her enough about himself to make her happy that he was an old-school Mandalorian.
So why tell her all that stuff and not just answer the simple questions that the New Republic rangers, or whoever they were, had about where the Razor Crest had last been? Why bother running away? Why not just answer the question? What did he really have to hide? It wasn’t like anyone had seen his face. There weren’t virtual wanted posters plastered all over the galaxy with the caption “Have you seen this man?” No one had a bounty fob with Din Djarin’s vid attached to it.
But he sure acted like that was what was going on. Until something else happened that caused the Mandalorian to break all the rules he held dear. Now, that something else wasn’t minor or trivial or a mere inconvenience. Moff Gideon had sent super nasty battle droids to the surface of Tython and kidnapped Grogu. That was a shockingly bad thing to have happen. Especially if you were still being held accountable by the Armorer for the work she had assigned you. Uff. No way would Grogu want to disappoint her.
Because, even though the Razor Crest had been destroyed by Moff Gideon and even though Din Djarin had to pull in every favor he’d ever done for anyone else, and use every bounty hunting trick he’d ever learned to get Grogu back, the Armorer was still not happy that Grogu had seen the Mandalorian’s face. Loving rules that much seemed counter productive at the very least, which doesn’t really seem like the Way.
Was that why Din Djarin didn’t answer Captain Teva’s questions? Because the Creed made impossible? Whatever the reason, the Razor Crest had paid a steep price for it. Grogu just hoped it was worth it. He still missed that ship.

Oblivion | Part I (The Mandalorian)
Tumblr media

Pairing: The Mandalorian x Reader (she/her)
Rating: 18+
Warnings: Mention of death, lost of memory, violence, blood, abuse, curse words, drugs and some traumatic shit. ALSO SOFT DIN
Word count: 3K+
A/N: I’m new to the Star Wars fandom and to be honest I’m a little scared posting this. Please don’t scream at me if I made any mistakes, I’m still catching up with everything. Also, this is going to be a two part story and It has taken me about three days to fully finish the first part, so I hope you guys enjoy and happy new year’s eve!
The warm volcanic air of Nevarro greeted The Mandalorian as he exited the Razor Crest and headed towards de cantina to meet with Greef Karga. As per usual, everyone's eyes landed on the shiny beskar helmet while The Mandalorian quietly walked by himself with his Amban sniper rifle on his back.
Walking into the busy cantina, Mando moved towards Karga, sitting on the room's far end. "Mando!" Karga greeted him, ushering him to sit down on the opposite seat before Karga.
"What's the job?" Mando asked, cutting straight to the point and skipping the "friendly" welcome. Karga sighed, his hands landing on the beverage on the table.
"Right to the point, okay." Karga began. The Mandalorian watched through his visor at the man before him, who leaned in closer, not wanting anyone to eavesdrop on the private conversation.
"No offense, but you're one of my faithful hunters who knows how to get the job done, no questions asked. But I also have my favorite hunter, similar to you, without the beskar armor." Karga announced, his eyes wandering around the others surrounding them inside the cantina. He didn't want to drive more attention to the table, more than its already been drawn by the beskar armor. "She's strong, straightforward forward, and never fails me. Reasons why I gave her the quarry only her or you could've handled, especially when the rich would pay any amount to end any theft from their fortune. You were away with other pucks, and she was free, so I gave it to her."
"Let me guess, she failed you, and now you need me to do the job?" Mando sighed under his helmet, crossing his arms over his chest.
"We presume she's dead; some members of the Guild found her ship raided and full of blood. It's a loss we all felt deeply, which you don't see a lot in here. She cared for everyone, and it rubbed off on some of us. Her death is on that quarry's life, and I count on you to avenge her death." Karga was resting his back on his seat, waiting for a response from the hunter in front of him.
"Do I need to bring them in alive?"
"No, only bring the body for confirmation." Karga disclosed, sliding the puck over to Mando with the tracking fob. "It's double the amount of what I originally offered. It's going to be a heavy payday for you, Mando."
"She was that good, huh?" The Mandalorian stood up from his seat, hanging the sniper rifle again behind his back. He was a bit curious about the girl and how comparable she was to him.
"You might have seen her before. She used to work here from time to time in the cantina. And now that I think of it, one time you came here to meet with me, and she was serving me the drinks that day." Karga remembered, and so did The Mandalorian. "The bounty's last known location was Maldo Kreis. Good luck, Mando."
On the way back to his ship, Mando was deep in his thoughts. He remembered that day very clearly.
He remembered the girl. How could he forget?
"I don't want to be rude, but I would offer you a drink, but I know you can't take that shiny bucket off." Y/N chuckled, grabbing Karga's empty cup to replace it with a new one full of spotchka. She had watched him arrive earlier into the cantina; her older brother used to talk about The Mandalorians when they were children. She had never seen one in person before. She watched him glide through the people in the cantina towards Karga, how only a few dared to look at the man in the beskar, and others had their eyes on the floor. Too scared to even look at the feared hunter.
Karga chuckled at her comment before taking a sip of his new drink. Mando tilted his helmet at her in curiosity. She wasn't intimidated by him and made a light joke about his armor.
When The Mandalorian didn't answer, she sighed and looked away from the tinted T shaped visor. Y/N walked away with Karga's previous empty cup and headed towards another table to serve them with her funny jokes instead, where others will appreciate them.
Thankful for the helmet, he heard Karga tell him about the previous bounty Mando had captured, how he never disappoints in getting the job done. "You might give my favorite hunter a run for her credits." Karga joked, emptying his second drink of the day. But The Mandalorian's eyes followed the girl. She was behind the bar now, laughing with her other customers as she leaned herself on the counter. Her mid-length dark hair bounced around every time her shoulders moved from her laughing and her tiny figure moving around the back of the spacious bar, gliding through without a hassle. "Y/N! Get your pretty face over here with another refill, sweet face." Mando's eyes shifted to the very drunk customer far away from the bar where Y/N stood.
She laughed at the drunken state he was, filling up his cup with some water instead, cutting him off from his usual drink. "That's enough for the evening, Gyan. You have a family to get to, remember?" Her sweet voice passed right him, the sweet scent from her hair hitting him with a whiff.
Y/N, now the girl who he watched over had a name.
Many people were intimidated by the beskar armor, but she didn't even flinch from making a joke about it. Even after he didn't answer her, she didn't shake in fear, and she walked away disappointed. Was she expecting something else? The Mandalorians came across as cold and people of not many words. She knew that, but deep down, she didn't believe it entirely from all the stories others would tell about them and their creed.
Mando landed on the ice planet two days ago.
Tracking down the bounty was surprisingly too easy, Mando thought. The tracking fob immediately started going crazy on the first day while he hunted around the planet. Once he found him, he watched his every move.
Not only did he want to assure a good plan, but he also wanted to figure out how the girl got herself killed for a simple quarry that didn't even bother hiding.
Maz was wanted for theft, and he owned a lot of people's credits. The usual. Maz had the same routine strangely; he visited the markets early, creating chaos with innocent villagers, and then spent the rest of the day in a cantina with possibly other bounty's.
One of the things Mando noticed first was that Maz wasn't ever alone. He always had to be surrounded by people to praise him and make sure he felt he had the power. Maz still had six guards with him. Four of them guarded the outside. While two were by the back of the cantina, the others guarded the front door. And that left the Maz and two other bodies with him inside.
Mando could quickly grab the guards in the back successfully and then attack the ones in the front before dragging them with the rest of the bodies behind the cantina. He liked those odds.
Part of his evening entourage, he brought one woman with a metal neck collar hooked on to a chain for him to drag her around like some pet. The woman had barely any clothing on for the shivering weather, and it was torture and cruel.
They had her wearing a tiny leather top that did nothing to hide the purple bruises on her neck and shoulders. Mando also noticed marks that could only be caused by a whip on her exposed back. She also wore a torn skirt that didn't cover much of her barely functioning legs. But Mando never saw her face. They always dragged her around with a bag over her head.
The Mandalorian prepared for his attack on the third day. As planned, he managed to seize the men on the back of the cantina without any problems. And then he followed with the other two guards by the front door. Maybe the guards were for appearances because they went down quickly and quietly, or The Mandalorian was that good. Mando swiftly dragged both bodies towards the back and huddled all four of them in a pile against the bar's walls.
The cantina's door unlatched and revealed The Mandalorian standing under the frame while the snow flew into the cantina. Immediately, all eyes were on Mando as his eyes scanned the place, looking for Maz. The air in the cantina stiffened at The Mandalorian's presence. Every single pair of eyes followed him while he proceeded to take a seat by the bar, a safe distance to the corner of the room where he spotted Maz with the girl sitting down on his lap miserably.
"Two chowders to go," Mando ordered, trying to blend in as he wasn't there for a quarry. He passed some credits to the bartender while his eyes caught a glimpse of the girl's face when she moved uncomfortably on Maz's lap.
"Y/N." Mando thought to himself, how could he forget her? Her hair was longer, and she looked slimmer, probably caused by the lack of meals Maz didn't give to her. Mando's blood boiled as he watched the dirty man's hands caressing Y/N's bruised and sensitive skin while he chatted away with another person sat on the table as well.
Y/N dozed off, her head feeling heavy, and her exhausted body was about to give out on her. She couldn't even remember how she got there and what they gave her to tame her down. Everything was a blur.
If she could, she would've blown up the whole bar into ashes. Make every living being that touched, drugged, and tossed her around to burn into oblivion.
Mando had a plan to grab Maz, but it flew out the window once he noticed who the girl was. The seat that Maz's "friend" occupied was now free, and while "waiting" for his chowder, he slipped into the empty chair.
He regretted his change of plan the moment his eyes landed on the poor girl. The open wounds that would heal into scars horrified him. It angered him the most. Mando was going to make Maz pay for every mark he left on her body. "A Mandalorian? Thought those only existed in stories." Maz tried to hide his widened eyes from the hunter. Mando smirked under his helmet, sensing the fear in Maz's eyes.
Mando's hand rested on top of his blaster that rested on his side. Tilting his helmet, he studied and watched Maz, and he knew the guy would never be the criminal to carry a blaster. He needs a pack of guards because he didn't even know how to handle a blaster by himself. He was all about appearances and less about his fighting skills. "And now they are going to exist in your worst nightmares."
The first shot from Mando's blaster went off and hit the closest guard to Maz in his chest. The first guard's body fell to the floor with a loud thud while others either stared at the fight that was about to break down, and some decided to leave the bar. Before it, all got a little too messy for their liking.
Maz shot up from his seat, not caring that Y/N had fallen to the floor. He gripped on the metal chain tied to her neck collar and dragged her up to her feet as he made a run for the door. Mando had purposely let Maz get a head start; he knew he couldn't get too far with Y/N's weakened state.
The final guard, who was the furthest, made a run towards the hunter, but Mando was quick to his feet and grabbed one of the knives on the table and flew it across the bar for it to land on the guard's shoulder. Stomping his way towards the guard, he hovered over his unbearable body and sent his final shot from his blaster to his chest.
The bartender rose from behind the bar, where he had found shelter from the fight. He watched as the hunter exited the cantina to catch up to Maz, who hadn't gotten very far as Mando had anticipated.
One thing The Mandalorian didn't expect was seeing Maz holding a blaster to Y/N's temple. "God, she can't even lean on him for support from the pain she's in." Mando thought to himself, his grip tightening on the snipper he pulled out from his back. He aimed it at Maz, taking slow steps towards his quarry.
"Give up, Maz. We both know you don't stand a chance." Y/N heard Mando's filtered voice from afar. She was thrown around by Maz for a long time, that the little hope she had of being rescued from the torture had faded every time the sun left the horizon and left her in complete darkness.
Maz had the safety on his blaster. What an idiot.
Mando was about to shot at Maz's shoulder when suddenly, from the corner of his eyes, he watched Y/N slip out a blade from the waistband of her skirt. She must have gotten it after she fell from the first guard laid on the floor after Mando shot him. Maz didn't even know what was coming for him.
Y/N used the little energy she had and pushed the knife into Maz's abdomen, causing him to force her out of his grip and fall on to his knees from the sudden pain. He shrieked in pain while holding the knife still pressed into his body in shock. "He did tell you that you didn't have a chance." Y/N coughed only a few feet away from him, looking straight at Maz as the blood-stained the pale snow underneath him.
"Should've given you a painful death the night we took you." Maz groaned,  pulling the knife out of his stomach. "You were worth-" Maz's words caught short, Mando shutting him up with a shot to his chest. Maz's eyes rolled back, and he fell onto his back on the snowy ground.
Tears spilled out of Y/N's eyes. She never thought she was going to make it out alive at all. "Hey, we need to get you out of this weather." Mando knelt to her level on the floor, wrapping his cape around her shoulders to bring in a little bit of warmth to her body. She nodded in response, but before she could force herself to stand up, he already had her in his arms pressed into his chest.
Instead of going to his ship, he preferred getting those chowders he had ordered earlier for her to eat before the flight back to Nevarro. "You might want to eat first." His voice was soft, caring for the petite hunter before him.
Food. Y/N hadn't had a warm meal in such a long time that she devoured the first bowl of chowder too quickly for her liking. Mando sat silently across her, watching her finish up the first bowl in minutes. "Want the other one?" Mando asked, sliding the second bowl towards her.
"Please, I'm starving." It was good that she was eating. The drug that made her doze off was wearing off quicker thanks to the food. The other great news was that Mando had managed to break off the metal collar from her neck. She was free to walk and eat without the cold metal pushing up against her neck. "Thanks again for everything." She went from living a nightmare to finding some peace. Maybe it won't last that much longer, but she enjoyed it a little bit. She enjoyed the hot meal.
After she finished the second bowl, Mando brought the empty dishes to the bar counter a few feet away from the table where he previously sat with her. He tried passing the bartender some extra credits for the mess he caused earlier, but the bartender refused to take the credits. He was merely glad that Maz was gone from his cantina.
Mando nodded as a thank you towards the bartender when he gave them extra food for the flight. "She suffered a lot in the hands of those criminals. I'm glad she's safe now." The bartender explained to the hunter as they both watched her from afar snuggled up into Mando's cape.
After Y/N and The Mandalorian said their final goodbyes to the cantina's owner, he pressed her close for her to lean on him as they walked to her rhythm towards his ship with Mando dragging Maz's body behind him with the same chain Maz had tied up to Y/N neck collar. Y/N was grateful for the food, but she was even more when Mando's ship greeted her with its warmth. "I have never been this excited to see a Razor Crest before." She chuckled, her cheeks gaining a slight red tint.
Mando moved around the ship, trying to gather up a couple of blankets he had stored away. "I don't have a change of clothing, but I did grab these for you."
Y/N mumbled a thank you to Mando and pulled off his cape from her shoulders to replace them with a slightly thicker material to keep her even warmer. "I suggest you rest for a while if you can." He suggested, sitting on the pilot seat and getting the ship ready for departure. Y/N made herself more than comfortable on the chair behind him by the right side of the cockpit.
Y/N relaxed her shoulders as she let the soft material of the chair rest snug to her body. "Thanks again for rescuing me, metalhead." She mumbled, sleep consuming her quickly.
Mando snorted under his helmet. Even after going through what she did, she managed to make fun of him. He watched her over his shoulder, her chest rising up and down while she faded into her deep sleep. He pulled himself away from staring and sent the Razor Crest into hyperspace after placing the coordinates to Nevarro.
"You don't need me to rescue you. You saved yourself out there." Mando whispered, pushing a strand of her hair behind her ear.

abuse of power [din]
summary: din has an encounter with a semi-unhinged new republic pilot.
author’s note: an idea that popped into my head while watching chapter 10 ,, bored new republic pilot reader. WARNING, reader really likes murder
Tumblr media
With the fall of the Empire and the rise of the New Republic, anarchy has reigned king. Five years have gone by and remnants of the Empire continue to appear, though sparsely. Each passing moment makes you question your decision of taking such a boring job. The recruiters said you would be helping restore the Galactic Republic and they made it sound exciting. Now, you're a glorified bounty hunter for the New Republic, and it’s been months since you last shot down a TIE fighter or encountered Imperial troopers.
If there are any Imperial holdouts left, they’re well hidden and small. The only crafts you’ve encountered are those of beings that simply forgot to run the beacon. Which appears to be the case right now, as you spot an old ship to your right. You try to get in contact with the pilot of the craft but there is no response.
You fly closer to the craft, “Y’know, I have no problem shooting down this craft. It’d be a serotonin boost.
That would be a lot of paperwork, though. On the off chance that the craft is not Imperial, you’d be suspended and an investigation would begin. Come to think of it, the New Republic has taken the fun out of your threats.
“Hello? Come in?”
“This is Razor Crest. Is there a problem?” The pilot of the craft finally responds.
“Looks like your transponder isn’t not emitting.” You comment.
“Yes, I’m pre-Empire surplus. I’m not required to run a beacon.” He replies.
He is very cautious with his words. You take note of his hesitance to emit the transponder. He’s hiding something. When creatures see an X-wing, they are compliant, it’s one of the best parts of the gig, but it this pilot has no respect for the New Republic.
“Yeah, that was before. Y’know, when the white devils patrolled the galaxy.” You remind him that times are different. “And, unfortunately, there are rules now. All crafts are required to run a beacon. Makes it easier to identify Imperials.”
“Thank you for letting me know. I’ll get right on it.” The Razor Crest pilot gvies you an insincere thanks.
“Safe travels.”
“May the Force be with you.” The phrase feels empty coming from the pilot. He’s probably never even met a Jedi. There is not too many of the left.
“And I’m gonna need you to send me a ping if you see any Imperial holdouts.” You silently hope to find a couple TIE fighters. Shooting those ugly spheres makes you feel alive. No drug or partner has been able to make you feel like that.
“I’ll let you know if I see any.”
“Still waiting on that ping.” You remind him after a few seconds of silence.
“Well, I’m not sure I have that hardware online.”
“Yeah, I’ve heard that bullshit excuse before. Try harder.” You’re no longer entertained. You’ve already begun checking off items in the Rules of Engagement the New Republic officers forced you to memorize after a few accidents.
“I...Doesn’t seem to be working.” He sounds a bit defeated, and it makes your smile.
“Awe, that’s too bad. If I can’t confirm you’re not Imperial, you’re gonna have to follow me to the outpost at Adelphi. They’ll run your tabs.” You follow the procedure.
“Oh, wait. There is it. Transmitting now.” You hear some clicking from his end a a voice. “Be quiet.” The pilot hushes, earning your curiosity.
“What’s that?” You ask.
“Uh, nothing. The...hypervac is drawing off the exhaust manifold.”
“Yeah, uh, give me a minute. Wait or I shot ya down.” That is most definitely an abuse of some power. Oh, well. He won’t be around to file a complaint.
You change channels and contact Wolf. “What did you say the antique ship at the prison was called?”
“Uh, Razor Crest. I think. Why, what’s up?” Wolf asks as your lips form a mischievous smile.
“Because I’m about to add another tally mark on my wall.” You respond. “Over and out.” You return to the channel with the Razor Crest pilot and switch your X-wing to attack mode. The wings of the ship scissor open.
“Now, answer honestly.” You warn the pilot. “Was your craft in the proximity of the New Republic Correctional Transport, Bothan-Five?” You ask.
Instead of replying, he takes off. You laugh and immediately follow the Razor Crest. “This is turning out to be a great day.”
You chase the Razor Crest to the icy planet of Maldo Kreis. Watching the ship struggle to fly in the harsh weather almost made you pity the pilot. It also made you laugh. A lot. “It’s not even funny.” You say to yourself, tailing the Razor Crest.
The snowstorm makes difficult to follow the Razor Crest, and you lose it after a couple minutes of high-speed chasing. “The adrenaline is certainly up.” You smile to yourself as the speed of the X-wing reduces. It seems only murder can boost the serotonin levels.
Wolf keeps you company during your search. He does further research on the ship, running tabs and checking the security footage. How he got the clearance for that, you’ll never know. As it turns out, events at Bothan-Five happened differently than described in the daily report.
It takes you nearly half an hour to find the Razor Crest. It’s surrounded heavily damaged and by hundreds of spider-looking creatures. You take the opportunity to practice your aim and use your blaster cannon to clear out the spiders.
Within seconds, they’re all dead. You unlock the canopy and hop on the edge of the ship. You have your blaster rifle aimed at the only possible exit for the pilot of the Razor Crest. “I just wanna talk.” You shout.
A Mandalorian takes small steps out of the gaping hole in his ship. He’s showing you his palms and has his blaster facing up. You haven’t seen a Mandalorian in years. Like the Jedi, there are not too many left.
“Toss your weapon, Mandalorian.” You look through the eye scope of the blaster rifle. Now, he is very compliant.
“What are you smiling about?” The Mandalorian questions.
“Power play.” You respond. “Just the last time I ran into a Mandalorian I was the one with the gun to my head,” You inform the stranger.
“You’ve met other Mandalorians?” He asks with a tone of hope in his voice.
“One.” You respond honestly. “I’m technically a contracted bounty hunter. For the Republic. It’s a bureaucratic mess. We don’t get any benefits. Honestly, I think it’s destined to fail, so I have a side hustle.” You ramble. “Had.”
“The Mandalorian?”
You shake your head. “I’m the one asking the questions.” You remind the Mandalorian pilot. “I ran the tabs on your ship. Looks like you’ve got an arrest warrant for the abduction of prisoner X-Six-Nine-Eleven.”
“However, onboard security records show that you apprehended three priority culprits from the Wanted Register. Security records also show that you put your own life in harm’s way to try to protect that of Lieutenant Davan from the New Republic Correctional Corps. Is that true?”
“Am I under arrest?“ The Mandalorian asks.
“Technically, you should be.
But I don’t really care.” You shrug. You drop the blaster rifle on your seat and hop off the ship.
“Happy to see the galaxy is being protected by stable minds.“ He says sarcastically.
“Protected? Try being held together with glue and tape.” You chuckle.
“What say I forego the counties on these three criminals, and you help me fuse my hull so I can get off this frozen rock?” You laugh at his proposal.
“What say you fix that transponder and I don’t murder you the next time I’m patrolling the Rim?” You smile and hop back down into your seat, setting the blaster rifle aside and bring down the canopy.
You’ve got a feeling that won’t be the last time you encounter that Mandalorian.

A little follow up to this:
https://boliv-jenta.tumblr.com/post/643469166388609024/a-little-fluff-about-the-times-mando-and-the
*Canon type violence, working your feelings out this way in real life is not cool.*
Worth the Risk
Pain radiated through your foot as it connected with Mando's, you corrected yourself, Din's solid chest plate. He didn't take you with him to Nevarro but he did at least tell you his name. Your anger had made you sloppy. The misplaced kick threw you for a second, long enough for him to grab your arm. Throwing the arm he was holding in a wide circle loosen his grip. As it completed it's circle, you balled your hand into a fist and landed a punch to his lower abdomen. Stepping into him as you did so, intending to land another blow with your other hand, gave him an opening. His hand flew to your throat. His grip wasn't hard enough to hurt but it was certainly enough to get your attention. "Stop!" he commanded.
Breathing heavily, your chest heaved against his forearm. The worn leather edges of his glove scratched the delicate skin of your neck. The heartbeat that you could feel pounding in your head was echoed in your neck under the pressure of his thumb. Adrenaline thrummed through you. Other hormones joined it, travelling south as he squeezed a little to emphasize his point. "Just stop." more a plea than a command this time. He kept his hand still as yours came up rest over it, you little finger stroking the bare skin of his wrist gently. "Ok." you gave a slight nod, suddenly feeling unable to do much more as the adrenaline died down leaving you feeling drained. He took his hand from around your throat and moved it to caress your cheek. It never made contact as you turned and used your remaining energy to storm back to the ship.
Leaning on the bar you eyed the Marshal, wondering why he was willing to go up against Din over a banged up armour.
"We going to do this is front of the kid..." he drawled, his eyes flickered to you "...and the lady?"
"He's seen worse." Din answered.
"She's done worse." you added.
A smirk tugged at Cobb's lips briefly as his stare returned to the Mandalorian. Before they could do any damage to each other the ground began to shake. Cobb headed outside first, followed by you then Din. The ground shook heavily as whatever was causing all this came into sight at the edge of town. Lurching forward you threw your arms out to steady yourself. Din grabbed your hand to help you. As his fingers touched yours, you snatched you hand back as if you had been burned. The violent motion caused you to to fall back against Cobb. "Easy there, darlin'." his hand, strong and firm, on your lower back straightened you up. You couldn't help but return the smile he gave you.
The Child cooed as you held him to your chest. His tiny hand wrapped into your hair hanging over your shoulder. The hand that clasped his fuzzy green head was sweating profusely, more to do with your anxiety than the twin suns. The seconds that passed as you stood there feel like years. The Child's head rose as your chest inflated with a much needed breath when Din finally burst free from the monster's mouth. Relaxing your grip allowed the kid to turn in you arms, he squealed as he saw Din landing. Legs burning with effort, you ran towards him. Slowing only to drop the kid onto the speeder bike, you were in front of him in no time. He used his Amban rifle to prop himself up as your weight barreling into him almost knocked him over. Throwing your arms around his neck, you clung to him. All your anger at him for leaving you behind before facing the fight on Nevarro, momentarily forgotten. "It's ok." he soothed rubbing your back.
The weather on Maldo Kreis was about as frosty as you had been behaving towards Din. After a brief reprieve on Tatooine, your walls had gone up again. It was easier to lie to yourself and say that you were mad at him for treating like a child. Well, a non magical child. The truth was much harder for you to deal with. You suspected that he dumped you on a backwater planet for the same reason you would have left him on any planet as far away from harm as you could. He loved you. The thought of acknowledging that fact and giving your heart to him in return, being vulnerable like that, terrified you.
At least when the ship crashed this time you had some power and heating. As Din worked you shared the blankets out between your passenger and the kid. You had kept a blanket back for yourself but when the frog lady had wrapped most of hers around her eggs, you gave her yours too. Learning your lesson last time, you had bought some thick over clothes. They retained enough heat that you were able to settle down to sleep. Heavy footsteps pulled you from your dozing. Din stood over you, his cape in his hand. Silently, he draped it over you before he walked over to sit on a create across from you. Leaning his head back against the wall, his helmet faced you. Shrinking under his visor's gaze you turned your attention to the passanger.
Honestly, you had to admire how brave she was to trust you to get her, and her eggs, safely home. The thought of putting your future happiness in the hands of someone else terrified you. Damn, you'd always though of yourself as tough for being self sufficient. Looking between her and Din, you realised you were a coward.
Standing up, you grabbed Din's cape off of you. Walking over to sit next to him you spread it out over both of your legs. Turning to him you undid your thick over coat. Opening it wide, wrapping it round him as much as you could, you hugged his side. "Careful, you might actually freeze to my armour." you could hear the smile in his voice. Leaning your head on his shoulder, you smiled "You're worth the risk."

Binary Sunset Ch 2: Seemed Far Away
Story Summary:  Obi-Wan finds himself decades in the future on the ship of a Mandalorian  that seems like the last thing he wants is to be sidled with another  lifeform. Or two, because suddenly they have a little...tiny... Yoda to  deal with. Not actually Yoda, Obi-Wan knows, but still. It's weird, and  stressful, and there's an entire Empire that's come and gone (going?).  He just wants to rest. Figure out what exactly has happened and maybe,  maybe find a way to stop it, if he ever gets back to his own time.  Better that than wallow in misery and pain of a past he got plucked  from, yet still feels the pain of.
Read on AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/30771671/chapters/76338152#workskin
Saleucami is a fairly nice planet, Obi-Wan decides as he steps from the ship. Warm, for sure, but not overbearingly so. They’ve touched down in one of the more swampy areas. Obi-Wan cranes his neck to get a good look at the area. A bird flies overhead. Mando puts his arm out, stopping him in his tracks.
“Yes?” He asks, raising an eyebrow.
Mando turns his head to look at him. “You’re staying here.”
    “Excuse you?”
“You’ll only get in the way. I’m used to working alone. I don’t need your help.”
Obi-Wan crosses his arms. “What, exactly, do you expect me to do while I’m waiting for you to track down your bounty, then?”
“Don’t know, don’t care, as long as you don’t get into what isn’t yours.”
Obi-Wan tosses his head. “Ah, so I’m to sit quietly in the dark of your ship.”
Mando shrugs. “Maybe there’s something in the area that’s edible. You could resupply the food stores so we don’t have to purchase anything.”
Obi-Wan just sighs, turning back to the ship. “Do I at least have permission to get into the weapons if danger occurs?”
    “Sure.”
Obi-Wan looks over his shoulder, watching somewhat petulantly as Mando walks away, following his tracking fob. He sighs again. He’d have liked to have something to do to keep his mind off things. Clearly that won’t be happening. So he walks back into the ship, closes the door, and sits on the floor next to his still-discarded robes. He runs his hands through the fabric.
“The Galactic Empire destroys the Jedi Order.” He says softly, the same words he’s been thinking since he talked to the Mandalorian Armorer. “Wish I knew more about that.”
He’d been a little overwhelmed during his talk with the Armorer. After leaving he’d thought of a thousand questions, ones she may or may not have had answers to. Asking Mando had been… unsuccessful. He should have realized that Mando had limited knowledge, after all, he had said he’d never heard of the Jedi Order. Further questioning had brought forth similar answers.
Obi-Wan is disappointed, but not surprised. Surely the Empire had done as much as it could to control information as much as people and planets. And Mando, living among the Outer Rim, wouldn’t have had much reason to bother with the Empire. Obi-Wan’s fairly certain that the Empire’s control over the outer rim had been as thin and fleeting as the Republic’s. The Outer Rim is often simply uncontrollable from those in power at the Core Worlds. So it would have been advantageous for Mando to know what he had to know to survive, and little else. And he wouldn’t have gained anything from knowledge about the Jedi. At least, that’s what Obi-Wan rationalizes to himself. What other answers are there, after all?
He must stay there for hours, thinking about everything and nothing, and absolutely, completely, one-hundred percent meaning to get up and have a look around the area. Maybe find some food like Mando suggested. And yet, he’s barely moved a muscle when the door opens again and Mando strides in, dragging a shaking human man behind him. He locks eyes with the man, and then decides that he’d rather not have any reason to feel for him; he’s going to have to get used to the bounty hunting life, and the good and bad people that get caught up in it. The man yells as Mando shoves him into a carbon freezing unit.
Mando turns to him. “You haven’t moved at all, have you?”
“Not a bit.” He admits. “Where to next? Nevarro again?”
Mando walks to the ladder heading to the cockpit. “Crait.”
Obi-Wan follows him up. “How many bounties do you have?”
    “Several.”
***
Crait is as boring as Saleucami, as are Galidraan and Gamorr. Mostly because Mando refuses to let Obi-Wan help, and so he sits, bored, on the floor of the Razor Crest. Alone with his thoughts. Alone with his fears. Mando isn’t even particularly talkative, so even when they’re in the cockpit traveling together through space it’s boring.
After a day of traveling, Obi-Wan finds a pen. He promptly spends two hours drawing all over himself for lack of anything else to do. It’s something he’d ordinarily scold Anakin for doing. Had, in fact, several times over Anakin’s padawan years. There’s something freeing in it, though, knowing that the only person that will know is Mando and Mando clearly doesn’t give a kriff. There’s no rhyme or reason to what he draws-- the symbol of the Jedi Order, a five pointed star, the Basic Alphabet. Birds and loth-cats and a badly-drawn wampa. Random lines and squiggles, until his arms and legs are covered and he’s made a fair dent everywhere else, too, using the mirror Mando has in his refresher. They almost look like tattoos.
Other than drawing, he spends his time meditating, and when that only manages to make him more anxious, he sleeps. And dreams-- nothing that seems to be prophetic, just dreams of his past, dreams of nonsense, nightmares of his anxieties come to life. A particularly rattling one has him waking, gasping for breath, with screams of the dying thundering in his ears.
When he can’t sleep any more, he stalks around the ship, committing as much of it to memory as he can without prying. How many steps can he take, going from one side to the next? Where are the control panels? How many people, frozen in carbonite, can fit in the ship? There isn’t much of a kitchenette-- actually, there’s little more than 2 cupboards, a small box for cold foods, and a small oven that really serves for reheating more than actual cooking. Obi-Wan counts the ration bars, the cans of soup, the few bits of frozen meat. The rations will last them for quite a while, despite the small space.
And just like that, three standard weeks pass.
***
Maldo Kreis is as boring as everything else, at least until Mando shows up with his bounty with a hungry ravinak following. His bounty-- a blue Mythrol-- screams bloody murder. Obi-Wan lifts his head from where he lays on the floor and watches the two move past him, heading for the cockpit. He looks out the door-- the ravinak’s bitten down on the landing gear.
There’s no way they’ll be able to lift off with that hanging on the way it is. In fact, it’s more likely that the ravinak will drag them under. He springs to his feet. Mando’s Amban Rifle is around here somewhere, where had he last seen it..? Oh, right, by the door to the cockpit. He follows them up the ladder, grabs the rifle, and jumps back down. The ship shudders. He grimaces, charges the rifle, and braces himself at the door.
Here goes nothing. He lunges forward, shoving the prongs of the rifle into the ravinak’s face. Electricity dances across and under its skin. It lets go of the ship with a roar, sinking back into the icy water. Unfortunately, without the ravinak holding it down, the Razor Crest lurches into the air with enough force that almost sends Obi-Wan tumbling into the water with it. He climbs into the ship and closes the door. He lets out a breath. I’m out of practice.
He joins them in the cockpit. The Mythrol chatters away about nothing in his best attempt at persuading them into letting him go. After getting nothing from Mando, the Mythrol turns to him. Obi-Wan gives him his best unimpressed look and turns back to looking at hyperspace. Is this how I sound to Mando? He wonders. It’s exhausting. He’s honestly thankful when Mando gets the chance to put him in carbonite. When he returns to the cockpit, Obi-Wan offers him a smile.
“You probably wish you could do that to me, hm?”
“Maybe a little.” Mando admits. “And before you ask, now we’re heading to Nevarro.”
“Ah, wonderful. I could stretch my legs.” I’ve already been out of the ship there, you have no way of arguing me into staying hidden.
“We’re only stopping to turn in the bounties and get new ones. It’ll be quick.”
Obi-Wan hums. “If you say so. I could buy new supplies, then, while you deal with Guild business?”
    “Sounds like a plan.”
Obi-Wan glances at him. “You know, I still don’t know your name.”
    “And?”
“I think it’d be helpful to know it.”
    “No.”
Alright. “Were you born a Mandalorian?”
“Why do you care?” Mando asks slowly.
Obi-Wan shrugs. “We’re going to be traveling together for an undetermined amount of time, I’d like to know at least a bit about you. All I know about you is that you’re a Mandalorian bounty hunter, you don’t know anything about Jedi, and you’re much better suited to long space travels than I am. Well, I also have nothing to do, but I haven’t exactly seen you do anything more than eat, sleep, clean your weapons, and fly this ship, none of which actually take that long. Also, I spent a year on Mandalore when I was younger, during the civil war.”
Mando fully turns to look at him. Obi-Wan offers another smile. Focus on the future right now, not the past. Nothing can be done about the past, so make sure the future isn’t going to be a mess.
Mando sighs. “I was a foundling, taken in when I was a child. I was raised in the Fighting Corps. I work as a bounty hunter to support the Tribe. Is that enough?”
“If that’s all you’ll give me.” Obi-Wan acquiesces. “Would you like to know more about me?”
“Which side were you on?” The question is immediate.
    “Er-what?”
    “During the Clone Wars.”
“Oh.” Obi-Wan pauses. Not a question he expected to hear. “I was fighting on the side of the Republic. So, the clone army, not the droid army.”
“Good.” Mando says darkly. “You said you’re from the beginning of the war?”
“Well, I assume so, unless the War was done and over in a matter of a few months.” Obi-Wan says, falling into the sort of sarcastic indignance he often does with Anakin. “I’d just fought at Christophsis.”
    Mando hums. “Alright.”
    And that’s that.
***
Obi-Wan stares at his reflection in the mirror of the Razor Crest’s refresher. He’s let his hair grow too much for his tastes over the past few weeks. He hasn’t trimmed it at all, and now he hardly looks the part of Jedi Master. Well, he does want to blend in, but… it’s really a matter of self-care, in the end. He runs his fingers through his beard.
It’s doubtful there are many people in the galaxy now that would recognise him. He imagines they’re dead, old, or simply wouldn’t expect him to look so young. So really, he could probably get away with keeping the beard. But it would be his luck, to manage to run into someone that would recognise him, his look. And it would be his luck that said someone would be an enemy, too. It can’t hurt to be cautious.
He glances at Mando, standing at his weapons cache. He’s not sure what species he is, still, seeing as he never takes his helmet off. Nor does he particularly care what species he is. But if he’s a species without hair, it’ll be rather hard to cut his own. “Do you have something I could cut my hair with? And shave my beard?”
Mando turns to look at him. “There’s a razor and a pair of scissors behind the mirror.”
    “Ah, thank you.”
He finds them where Mando says they are, strapped in so they don’t fall out and make a mess during rough travels. That sort of thing isn’t typically a worry on larger ships, but one as small as the Razor Crest, it’s practically a necessity. He pauses. He’s well versed in taking care of his beard-- that’s not exactly hard, and not something one would want to go to a barber for. His hair, though… well, he’ll just have to give it a go, won’t he?
So he shaves his beard, leaves only stubble. He’d been completely clean shaven as a padawan for several reasons and only some having to do with his age, but the moment he’d no longer been a padawan he’d happily grown a beard. Partially just to prove to Quinlan he could. Obi-Wan frowns at his reflection. It’s… strange, having hair as long as he does without the beard to match. Luckily I’ll be dealing with that shortly enough.
Cutting his hair goes about half as well. He leaves it just barely longer than he’d had it as a padawan, minus the ponytail. And a lot more messy, actually. As it turns out, he’s very bad at cutting hair. It doesn’t look terrible. It just doesn’t look very good, either. And it certainly doesn’t look like it was on purpose.
“Oh well.” He mutters, and starts cleaning up. It’ll just have to do.
    Mando chuckles. “Having trouble?”
Obi-Wan eyes him. “Not everyone is as used to cutting their own hair as you are.”
“Maybe you should shave it. Go bald.”
Obi-Wan thinks about that. “That is a cursed image and I hate that you’ve made me think of it, Mando.”
Mando’s laughter gets louder, and he counts it as a win.
