How do you price your work? Pricing of work seems to be one of those black arts with no definitive answer. It should go without saying of course that you need to cover the cost of your materials. There's some dude (derogatory) on FB who is PISSED people are pricing their farm fresh eggs at $2 and $3 a dozen instead of $4+, saying it's "disrespectful" and "undignified" and "I'm trying to feed my kids" like Sir, you are on a Facebook group page bitching about your neighbors egg prices because your pet chickens aren't earning you a living wage and you think it's your neighbors' fault, you do not have a leg to stand on here wrt dignity.

Also half the answers are like "I give them to friends and family free" or "I donate them to food banks" or "I'm making them affordable to folks who might not otherwise be able to get them now that they're so expensive in the store" and "if you think you're going to turn a profit keeping backyard chickens you have been wildly misled" and so on, and so forth, and I'm so living for it.

and I can tell you right now, he did NOT like my answer of "if you're trying to feed your kids, I hear eggs are edible."

Ooh, I've been sitting on this one for so long! The first 8 or so songs on dbhc X's playlist portray the gradual deterioration of Xisuma's psyche throughout season 8 under Android 24's command and control; Pathetic actually comes right after Again & Again on the list, as Xisuma's dread turns to self-deprication spun by 24's demands and manipulation. His self-appointed derpiness kind of becomes a weapon turned against him, and the playful self-bashing becomes something 24 canonically uses against him (see: Evil X always calling Xisuma a derp, and 'foolish axolotl' etc) to admonish his efforts and ideas.

Even though this song is on Xisuma's playlist, I imagine most of the lyrics (namely, the ones bolded above) are coming from Android 24, coming from an annoyed, flippant, and demeaning place.

Unpopular opinion but I think we’re still a couple months out from the rebrand. They said once all the leftover tit merch is gathered they’ll sell it. I think they’ll release tit for free on YouTube with the leftover merch drop then wait a month or two before the official rebrand so they can do a rebrand merch drop.

like i know of course the games industry is fucked and EA will continue to make money with impunity but i just. continue to wonder how the fuck they operate as a business if they keep getting caught setting people up to fail on purpose. from a logistical standpoint, do you not want to make money on every product you develop so it’s not a “waste of resources”? do you not understand market research and what appeals to consumers?

like we keep hearing about how they wanted to turn the franchise into something else and the fact that it “”failed to meet expectations”” because they couldn’t adequately course-correct, but i am so baffled how those expectations got set in the first place. how are you a video game company who doesn’t understand the concept of a target audience. why do you keep trying to broaden your appeal when time and again it’s proven that just alienates the people you already had. someone who plays overwatch is never going to come to dragon age for the same thing. the devs who work on it are never going to be able to make something comparable because it’s not the kind of thing they’re used to doing. like who let them think this was a reasonable thing to expect would just. happen
