(can i just say whenever i read for jk, i get the message immediately. it's actually crazy. he's probably the only idol who i just understand in an instant, very comfortable and easy energy)

so to answer your question, no i don't see him married in the next few years. jungkook seems to sincerely believe in the power of right timing. he's very intuitive and believes the universe will just kinda tell him "now is the time". he will just have this feeling that it's right. but the cards are very clearly telling me that that period is still far away.

i literally get this message every single time i read for him, but he has this very certain and specific image of the man he wants to become. jungkook aims to become someone like the king of wands here, who is not only very mature, powerful, confident and assertive, but also a warm, passionate and loyal protecter and provider. he puts a lot of burden and pressure on himself to continuously strive to get closer to that version of himself, extremely perfectionistic guy. he also connects relationships and especially marriage with a lot of responsibility (ppl are quick to misunderstand him because of his flirty libra venus but.. he's a double virgo and a mars in scorpio.. both fiercely loyal signs. he's very committed once he settles down) he doesn't just wanna rush into it out of love. he wants to make sure he ties the knot at a point where he feels like he gives his s/o the best version of himself that he can be. and yeah, in his eyes he's still far away from it.

Aries

Aries gets grumpy.

Aquarius becomes withdrawn when they are tired.

Aquarius wants nothing more than to retreat to their room to nap, or just relax for a while. Being around others will become more and more annoying. They won’t have the energy to be snappish with others. They just want to be alone.

His finger dislocates like nothing, right at the base, and he feels a gross shooting pain run all the way down his wrist. The air is still thoroughly knocked out of him, so he can only wheeze and kick his legs. Devi gives the same finger a little twist and a little tug. She’s almost hoping it’ll come right off and maybe sound like a cork popping when it does. Instead, little blood spots begin rising to the surface right at the point of tension, forming quick and easy bruises that swell his joints. She feels satisfied with that–she releases the forceps, but keeps her grip on his hand so she can move right along to the next finger.

i rewrote this part soooooo many times. originally i wanted devi to slowly saw off his fingers, one at a time, and she was gonna be talking a lot more doing it. there was a though that this fic was actually gonna be one in a series of three, and with each installment the violence was gonna get worse and worse and more and more blatantly horny. so i pulled back on the amount of gore and made devi talk a whole lot less bc she’s just so focused on “making it feel good”. eventually tho the second installment turned into sexual trauma clip show and became its own thing, so i sometimes wish i made this part grosser. but i also think i’ve read it so much i’m completely desensitized to it.

Moves to wrap her left hand around Nny’s fingers, around her hand holding the knife, and the two of them go for it.

when i was writing this i was like “ugh this is too sweet for them” and really was scared it felt out of character, too shippy, etc. but i also do think devi would not want to actually kill someone, not even nny, at least not in this narrative. the cover art i made for this fic has a screenshot of a google search that says something like “places to stab someone that won’t kill them but will still hurt” which is truly what i searched in order to figure out where she could stab him.

Ok so I see that there are several routes. However, that’s not the issue- the issue is impacted by expectations placed onto you by familial, societal, or self pressure. The crazy thing is…you have all the skills! There’s another thing: the heart for what you’re going for that’s missing.

I’ll help you narrow down the options by some. Taking on a job that you actually like and prefer even though it makes less might make you happier and less mentally stressed out. Through this, you’ll get to make wonderful connections in love, partnership, friendships. If you you take pride in your work and you love doing it, you have potential to meet.

You also have another choice, something in healthcare or that requires quick thinking and fast action. But in this type of profession/field of intense and fast movement, you’ll have to leave something behind. This could mean a lot of things- giving up a quality, dream, or piece of yourself, or sever connections with certain people, places, in order to start anew and begin down that road. This job will require someone who can act fact and stay calm under crazy ass amounts of pressure, BUT the bag do be good.

You know what’s crazy…

… it’s legit been years since I had a huge crush on someone who wasn’t a celebrity/famous. This was a guy that I could have potentially tried to date. It could be my imagination, but I could of sworn there was a connection between us. Or maybe it wasn’t my imagination. Maybe there was a connection there, I just don’t know what kind of connection it was. It could of been that maybe he is my other half but we’re not ready to be together yet. OR! It could of been the universe just showing/telling me that my other does exist and is just waiting for me to get my shit together. I think either one of those could be the reason why I felt so much for him.

It’s just sad that I only got to interact with him a few times before he ended up getting another job and moved. 😩 So yea, he was a coworker. We didn’t exactly work together, but like once a month or so we would have group outing where everyone close by in the company would meet up and hangout/have dinner. That’s how I meet him and few other coworkers. And was just so bright and energetic and fun, and I wanted him! I wanted to get to know him more. Learn about him and so much more. Like I know his bday is in September(if I’m correct he’s a Virgo), he has a younger brother, he likes rock climbing, and he’s lactose intolerance. I wanted to know more. I still want to know more. Cause what I don’t know is if him and another coworker is dating. It was really hard to tell cause they would sit next to each other and I know they was around each other more than just working together, but I couldn’t tell if they was more than friends or not. Cause I’m no home wrecker, and I really did try not to make it obvious that I was so into him. But I swear I could barely keep my eyes off him whenever he spoke. Especially when he talked to me.

Oh my yes! I won’t ever forget how it SEEM like he made it a point to talk to me at the last gathering we had. Which was at his place to celebrate him getting another job and moving. I just wish that I had moment with him all to myself before he left, cause I would of told him that I had a crush on him. I would of apologized for making things weird especially if he was dating the other coworker, but just to get it off my chest so I could get over him and not think about him to the point that I’m writing this. i would of put on my big girl panties and told him that I liked him. Not like would be seeing him again since he’s moving and I don’t expect him to like me back.

It would have been quick and nerve wracking, but at least would have got it off my chest. Cause a crush like this is just too much to keep in. It’s been years… YEARS! Since someone has ever smacked me in the face, kneed me in the crotch, and shot me through the heart like this. And as nice as it is to know that I can indeed still feel flames like this, it just sucks that I didn’t have the time or opportunity to do something about it. The reasons why I think I’m a survivor of SRA/MK

Researching about MK, I started to analyze if it could have been possible for me to be a victim of it, which seems highly likely, so I enlisted the summary some of the most important reasons why I'm suspicious. TW.

I'm highly resistant to drugs I had never consumed before (cocaine) and since I’m 16 I have a hard to resist compulsion to be a high end prostitute, even though my first kiss was at 17. It’s felt as important as breathing.

My name was partly made up with corruption, it’s a long story, but my mom was adopted and had her whole legal identity made up, nobody told her who her real family is and there is no legal way to trace them, as she was never in foster care. Legally she was born to a man (who doesn’t exist) and my grandmother. 

I don’t know who my biological father is and no one wants to tell me, but even though he is a little bit abusive (he tried to get me into jail as a punishment for running away, etc) I love my dad. 

I only know my biological father was probably the (out of marriage) son of the director of the private university my mom studied at. My mom used to tell me he was a really shady person, that the best for me is to not have met him. 

I’m from LATAM, my mom's family was wealthy until a politic re-structuring a century ago, they were left without anything and somehow built everything again. My mothers family is related to politics, indeed we were by way too far the poorest ones, we are the “dirty blood” those who mixed European blood with native blood, so they don’t talk to us at all, we were only invited to a national reunion celebrating their bloodline only once. It’s a mainly Italian and then Spanish family. The event is shown in the local newspaper and once I found a file containing the draft of the whole family tree, I think my mom made it. 

Most of my nightmares are in a countryside house, the only relevant thing there is a castle in the middle of the forest and a sacred mountain nearby, I remember being inside, I just have one memory which I guess was there cause I was walking on a stone floor and seeing stone walls, but I researched and it’s not open to the public, it’s private property, in my research local people fear it for the “gruesome stories that are told”. In this place, though it is really poor and there’s nothing there, this family built a lot of houses to spend summer there, it’s also the first place on missing people since there are historic records, even though it has 100 times less population than the most crime-related place of the state. This family got sexually involved with really young local people. I think it’s almost certain my mom comes from this place and we were told so. My mom had no siblings, she was an only child.

There are some markers of SRA, like, I was born by c-section on an important satanic sacrifice day, April 19th, I have the same zodiac configuration as Buddha, my sister has the same zodiac configuration as me, and was born on April 23rd at 7 months old by c-section, my grandmother mistreated my mom during the pregnancy , like making her spend all day long without water and I think without food as well. The only other boy of the family shares my birthday. All my mother’s family (as far as I know) share the same zodiac sign: virgo. But my mom was a Cancer. 

My dad has a double life as well, but I don’t know anything by about it, and his family is involved in crime and corruption, some crazy stories. 

I moved to another more peaceful place at 11 and the first week I had intense hallucinations while I self harmed in a dissociated state, I also threw up while crying and suffocating, I remember telling my mom I felt peace by not having to suffer everyday anymore, it was that age when I first tried to kill myself in order to help Earth to get rid of my evil. I have been suicidal for 13 years until two months ago, I’m 24 now, I ran away from home almost 2 years ago. Long story short family doesn’t talk to me and I don’t talk to them since I ran away, just to my dad sometimes and short messages.

Though I don’t have any memory of SRA, just of being raped once and general mistreatment, I do have some dreams that are similar to stories of MK, and I was diagnosed with DID two months ago, after switching to a cannibal alter ego while chatting with a friend, telling him my sexual fetish was to rip a boy open, drink his blood and take a bath under his vital organs, and that that was love. I had some glimpses of that personality some months prior to the incident.

it has been over a year since she broke up with me but i still think about her all the time. she's the best person i have ever known. every day i have some small thing remind me of her and i want to k myself because i treated her so horribly i cannot even begin to describe it. it's almost like i was possessed by a demon or something truly evil when i was with her. i still feel disgusted with myself over those days. i think she was the best thing that ever happened to me and i was the worst thing that ever happened to her. the way i fumbled her is the biggest regret of my life. deep down i still hope we are soulmates and maybe one day our paths will cross like a movie but the realist part of me knows it will never happen. i honestly believe she is better off without me which is why i plan on never breaking our no contact. i truly hope she is happy.

no 2: the strict (ex) coworker (taurus)

i felt attraction towards him the first time i saw him but i never thought that things would come to this. i had this friend that mocked me for it at the time but we ended up making out a few times when we were drunk. it quickly became awkward after that. i spoke to my friends about him and they said that he still had feelings for his ex which is why it wouldn't work and that i should just give up. he also said some stuff about only liking foreign girls. i still liked him maybe even more after our kiss but i think he thought less of me after that. he was also annoyed with everything i did. he didn't say anything to me about it but he never hesitated to put other people in their place which only made him hotter in my eyes. he had everything i could ever want and more. the only problem was that he was a bit of a fboy and he kinda sorta hated me. if that changed i totally would date him.

no 3: the toxic youngster (aries)

i think we may be the same person. he's the exact same me that i was with the 1st ex that was mentioned but there was a sweetness to it. i cannot explain it. the toxicity gives it an excitement that was missing from the other ones. i hate him with my guts but also we could be incredible together. we would be the it couple that did all sorts of crazy things but i know it will not work. it seems nice at the surface but i know myself and i know how i will want to live peacefully after a while. i'm not built for a crazy life all the time. of course i want craziness every now and then but always? i couldn't handle it. also we're going to be working together in a few weeks. that's why it has to remain as a fantasy.

no 4: the horny gymbro (virgo)

i'm sorry to start like this but he's a bit stupid. he has really nice arms and a great face but his personality is nowhere to be found. we made out a few times and it was okay but i learned he wrote to a close friend of mine after that. that was quite shtty of him but i guess i can't say anything about that because i also spoke with his friend for a bit afterwards. i think this one is purely physical because when i see him i still blush but i know in my head i want nothing to do with him.

no 5: the cute barista (???)

he works at the cafe we're a regular at. and by we i mean me, my mom and my dad. we have been going there for a few years and i thought he was cute from the moment i saw him. i don't know a lot of things about him but i know he loves and cares for animals and has a few pets. a dog and some cats i believe. he has tattoos which are always a plus. and he just looks kind. i don't know how to explain it but i feel like he would treat me right. he would be gentle and caring and idk loving? i got ready to see him a few times this week and visited the cafe but had no luck. i was planning on finding something to start a conversation with but i know i'll just get shy and won't shoot my shot anyway. my friends are saying that maybe he quit. i doubt that but it's still technically a possibility i guess. i could ask the owner of the cafe (he's a close friend of my parents) if/when he's working but i don't want to risk him catching on (he will be very annoying about it every time i go there). maybe i'll take my crochet and go there after work tomorrow.

Hello everyone, I decided to come up with this PAC for you guys to read as I go through all your asks. I’m really sorry for not being able to release it sooner, and thank you to those who are supportive. As you can probably guess from the title, the topic of this PAC is: What kind of villain would you be? I hope this will be to everyone’s liking, please leave some feedback so I can improve! ☾ Pile one: The Enchantress

I see a yellow gemstone for this pile, some of you might resonate with that? Maybe Opal? 7, 9 or 20 might be important numbers for you. Virgo, Pluto, Fire, Aquarius, and Moon energy here. Quite a lot of sword energy too. Capricorn, strong Jupiter, Libra, and Air dominants here too. I see that as villains, some of you could be quite scheming, not really in a bad way though. Wise beyond your years, you have a lot of foresight, and are probably the types to plan a coup or be the mastermind behind things. Maybe Junko from Danganronpa but with less of the crazy. The ones who are desperate for knowledge, but might have went about it in the wrong way. As a villain you might not show yourself much. I got “cartographer?” You might be sensitive to criticism, and hate it when you are questioned by your minions. The second type of villain I see from this pile is the sneaky type? Not the mastermind of the “main” villain, probably the one who betrayed the heroes’ side for the villains’. It might be because you didn’t feel included or like you were part of the heroes’ side. As a villain, you could be good at gathering information and using manipulation in order to achieve your goals. A spy, perhaps an assassin. Lowkey gives me Sasori (Naruto) vibes. The last type of villain I see here are the types who can get too hung up on things. Unable to let go, they let their past mistakes consume them and they turn evil, possibly to run away or to avoid something, possibly their past situations. Self conscious and unable to face their true self. In the past, the people in this pile could have had bad habits limiting their personal growth. Right now, some of you could be quite stressed. You should take a break and pamper yourself; impulsive as it may seem, it would be the best for you in the long run. The future is promising for this pile but roadblocks or conflicts right now need to be removed / resolved in order for you to advance. Good luck!

Leo, strong Mars and Air, Pisces, Cancer, Libra, Moon, Mercury. The first type of villain I see here is the stubborn type. The ones who fight doggedly until the end even when they know they’re wrong.Quite impulsive, you could start fights easily and that could get you into trouble. Enemies are made easily. Some of you could be passive, or too defensive. On the other hand you could also be the type to give up easily, but mostly I see stubbornness. The second type of villain I see here is one of my favourites. If I could put it in one word, it would be smooth. Jesper from Shadow and Bone vibes. Intelligent, social, charming. Probably the type of villain to have their eyes everywhere, you know what is going on at all times. Also the type of villain to have a glib tongue, easily talking your way out of things / trouble. May be particularly interested in puzzles, mysteries, and mind games. Good at strategy. The third and last type of villain I see here is the type that can be perfectionists. Probably not villains by choice, these people are very avoidant. You probably dislike conflict, and try to avoid them, which can cause even more problems for you. Maybe the type to lie about something and lie more and more as to cover the lie. Eventually it snowballs. You could be idealistic as well, so you try to create a “perfect” world. Which is to say, your ideal one. In the past, a lot of you might have been unsure of where to go or what to do, but you could’ve been enlightened by something or someone recently and now know what to do. Trust yourself. Right now, I think that some of you could just have gone through something important or great in general. The efforts you’ve been putting in will pay off, so hang in there. In the future, some of you could be leaving from toxic relationships. You will also be more decisive, and in control of your life. 5, 6, 7 and 10 could be important numbers for some of you.

Lowkey weird but I saw the anemo symbol for this pile so maybe some of y'all play genshin impact? (pls if y'all do dm me I'm ar 55 with nothing to do) Strong Taurus and Mercury here, Cancer, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Jupiter, Saturn. The first type of villain I see here is the one who was always known as the outsider. Down on their luck and probably weren't the types to get opportunities from others. There is something lacking in these people's lives, yet they don't know what it is. Reliant on others. These are the types of villains who victimize themselves and make you pity them, but stab you in the back right after with no sympathy whatsoever. The second type of villain I see here is somebody with very low self esteem. They might not have a sense of self direction and let themselves get used by other villains? Probably afraid of failure and disappointing others. On the other hand, this villain could also be opinionated and arrogant. Especially reckless, they are mostly bark with no bite. The type to give you threats but gets defeated in an instant 💀 They could also be the type to want recognition, maybe even obsessed with success. That will be their downfall. The last type of villain I see in this pile is the dramatic type of villain. The ones who make a mountain out of a molehill. Probably the ones who try to take things too far, or like putting on a big show with their abilities. They could also be the whiny type, the ones who get mad when they don't get what they want. Unresolved anger issues too. Lastly, they could be the villains who had gone through some kind of transformative experience in their life to make them this way. In the past, you could have felt very "stuck" and bored with your own life. You could also have lessened interactions in your social life due to responsibilities. Try letting loose sometimes. You could have also neglected some serious issues which you needed to face. For some of you who have been struggling or anything like that, rest assured that things will blow over soon. Hang in there, and remain grounded. For those of you who have put effort into something, I see that the rewards you get might not be up to your expectations. At least now you know what is worth you investing your time in; sit back and reevaluate your situation.

her birthday is april 25th 1968, which would make her a taurus (just like me!) . at first, i found it weird, not really seeing it, since i always thought she was a sagittarius. but, after thinking it for maybe less than two minutes, i definetely can see it. sheis quite lazy for those things that are not really a reponsability or simply avoids doing certain tasks, yet she's extra hardworking (and even more since her sun could be on her 6h with the sag ascendant i think she is). though she also loves to treat herself, she also knows when she need to tighten her belt. she doesn't like changes that are really crazy and, honestly, has a hardtime letting things off her chest sometimes. oh, and, of course, she is a foodie. i say she's a sag rising for her desire to know and travel, always pushing forward for greater things in her life. i kept debating if she was an aries moon or a gemini moon, so i actually made her chart, and she actually is an aries moon!

the next gilmore also has a canon birthday and birth time! it says she is born october 8th 1984 at 4:03am! it's funny cause, recently, i had a discussion with my mom abouth wether she was a virgo or a libra. she is totally a libra and you can tell since, as her mother sun sign, libra is also ruled by venus, which makes them unfairly pretty and attractive, enchanting and wanting to be nice to absolutely everyone. and she is a virgo asc (you bet i drew her natal chart), which explain how responsible and grounded she is. the pisces moon also makes so. much. sense! you know, i thought she was a virgo sun with a psices rising, but wow, this makes way more sense than i thought. remember how the stories of lorelau always were of her wanting to help people when she was a baby and how she's always concerned about others?

also, rising opposite moon does create a conflict on her internal emotions and thoughts, so that's why is harder for her to tell lorelai what's going on at first. and 7h moon makes you usually really close to your mom so-

so, i didn't know who to put next, since the series has so many characters becoming more and less important through the whole plot that the next big character i saw was luke (not at all because he's one of my fav characters). it's said that his birthday is between october and november, which it'll make him a scorpio, a hunch i have since the first time i knew his full story, which makes senses since we see how his family life was never the best. nevertheless, he was the most grounded one, who had the initiative to make his own business but without really changing his dad's old stablishment. he has quite a hard time telling his emotions (again), though everyone knows them, and always showing though love. i was about to write taurus asc instead of aquarius is because of how he decided to open a café, but an aquarius rising would also make a lot of sense - he helps the community yet somehow always seems to go against the authority in it (taylor) and he move forward about his dad's business creating his own.

super dramatic, rebellious, and knows how to be secretive. fun, and it is quite realistic. an amazing friend, but does require a lot of attention. not the best home life, that what provoques her escapes and hideaways, leaving house with quite an impulsive thought process behind. also, the relationship with her mother is bad but she still loves her. she's also super independent and ready to build her own path - until she actually has to and freaks out.

needs to have leadership and control, but doesn't have the exact delicacy that rory has to ask for it. she is always confused about her emotions and the non-logical part of life. she is super focused cause she was pressure on her back at all time from her family, but, once she gets adjusted, she doesn't like changes. she could have a 12h moon though.

Astrology Notes I🦋

Hey y'all! This is my first time writing an astrology-related post! So excited to share you guys some of my experiences with certain placements and knowledge about some fun facts based off my own observations and research<3

🤍 Oftern times water moons are described as emotionally needy or explosive. In real life while they are emotional beings, they either understand emotions so well or completely disregard it.

Scorpio moons, in particular, are prone to shutting off at first, they have the same mentality a lot of Capricorn moon does, which is expecting others to open up entirely to them first and whether or not they choose to reciprocate it depends entirely on them.

Cancer moons, since they feel pain and feelings so intensely, are very likely to create a facade of a typical "cold-hearted" character to the world. If Cancer moons individuals have some Libra, Gemini or Aries influence, they can become true flirts or serial daters to disregard their own intense emotions.

Pisces moons, are both children and old souls. Like other water moons, Pisces moons can understand emotions really well. Hence, if the moon is aspected to too many personal planets, the native can literally FEEL other's pain and sufferings simply by listening to it. They, out of the three water moons, can actually understand the complexity of emotions. However, if badly aspected or venus is damaged, they can use this gift to their advantage to manipulate others. Pisces moons lie without blinking twice. ( I am one so trust me on this;)

⛈Aries placements are beloved for their straightforward and direct approach. However, they sometimes work better with softer placements as their need for being the leader and the winnter is huge. They would not hesitate to call someone's out for their bs. Therefore, softer placements such as libra mars or libra sun may try to compromise and find the middle ground while placements such as Capricorn sun will not give into their authority.

🏳️ I have noticed Fixed placements tend to group up and naturally find one another. It almost seems like they enjoy and understand each other's reasons for acting the way they do. For instance, a friend group of 10 I know mostly has either Scorpio Rising, Aquarius Rising or Taurus Rising with one exception of a Capricorn Rising. Their sun signs are also mostly Leos, Aquarius, Taurus and Scorpio with an exception of a Libra Sun. The same thing goes for their moon signs with exceptions of Cancer moons and Libra moons! Astrology never fails to amaze me.

🍇 One thing I have noticed is that you tend to attract the sign that rules the house of your Venus/Mars or their sister signs. For example, my venus is in 12th house in Leo while my mars is in 11th house Cancer and I usually attract a crazy amount of Virgos, Capricorn and Aquarius into my life! Other placement counts too but often times, the house positions really give us an idea of what energy we give off and attract.

✨Libra sun women. Wow. Simple wow. You either love em or hate em. Often times, they are less charming than Libra rising but Libra sun women will always be noticed no matter where and who they are esp with a blend of Scorpio or Leo placements!! If well aspected and placed in a chart they can be so loved in their community. However, if badly aspected, they can be seen as extreme flirts who use their charm to their own benefit.

Well aspected Libra sun simply does not allow themselves to be hated by the public. Validation and acknowledgment is so important to them. This is the reason why they can be so controversial.

Libra rising natives are pockets of charm. PERIOD. Most Libra rising I know can act similar to Libra sun infront of strangers. However, depending on their chart, some may not have the need to be adored like Libra sun and often times can be extremely confrontational when combined with a placement such as Scorpio moon or Mercury in the first house.

🌔 This may sound crazy but I heard a lot of people talk about how Cancer and Sagittarius, the two inconjunct signs often experience soul-mate relationships. From my experience this had yet to be true. While I've met a lot of Sagittarius moons and love them, Sag sun are rare in my circle? Mars Retrograde in the natal chart

I’ve written about planets in retrograde in the natal chart before, find the post about Mercury, Venus and Mars here and the post about Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto here.

In this post I’m going a bit deeper into Mars Rx.

As we all probably know, Mars is the planet of personal drive, aggression, assertiveness and outward directed energy. Mars it works on behalf of the personality as the warrior – as forward movement, strength and desire. Mars enables us to be goal oriented, to stand up for ourselves and have a sense of direction and momentum. Depending on the sign Mars is in, the style in which one goes about one’s interests will vary. For example, an Aries Mars will be direct, impulsive, straightforward, loud, non-apologetic and open in taking action. Taurus Mars will be calm, patient, stubborn and energy preserving. Gemini will be cerebral, creative, mischievous and all over the place. Cancer Mars will be careful and protective of emotions while trying to secure a goal. Leo Mars will be demonstrative, proud and demanding. Virgo Mars will be purposeful and practical, going over the steps required to reach a specific goal. Libra Mars will try to smoothly get other people to get on board with one’s direction without ruffling any feathers, usually through using reason and logic. Scorpio Mars will assert its will “undercover” often through subtle yet effective emotional blackmail and strategy. Sagittarius Mars will be bold and restless, potentially quite clumsy and funny. Capricorn Mars will be serious, patient, mature, responsible and steadfast. Aquarius Mars will potentially be acting on behalf of a collective mission and thought-movement, considering what lies in the best interest of the “group”. Pisces Mars will be easily directed by influences from the environment, compassionate, soft and a bit confusing.

Having Mars direct in the natal chart means that desire is merged with action. In other words, action is employed in the name of desire. In the most basic sense, a person sees something of value (Venus) and Mars is the one who is in charge of conquering it. Venus and Mars can’t really be discussed separately for this reason because something has to catch one’s attention (Venus) in order for there to be anything to attain and achieve. Simply put, Venus is the object, person, place of esteem and Mars is the force that is in charge of closing the gap between the person and that which is desired.

When Mars is retrograde in the natal chart the drive to achieve is equally as strong as with Mars direct, but it is turned inward instead of being directed outward. This causes inner frustration, pent-up energy and often feelings of being ineffectual – unable to directly go after what one wants. Many sources state that since Mars is a masculine planet, Mars Rx is more bothersome for men, as women tend to not suffer from lacking in masculine traits as acutely because of identification with femininity (Venus). This is probably true, yet women will similarly experience the debilitating effects of Mars Rx – sometimes through the lover and partner of choice.

Some sources state that natives with Mars Rx had a childhood where they were not allowed to get angry or to stand up for themselves. Perhaps no one listened or bothered, perhaps displays of aggression were forcefully disapproved of and punished. There could have been a lack of support of the native taking initiative and paving his or her own path. I have had the reverse experience of being accused of not being assertive enough. I have Mars Rx in Virgo in the 3rd house and I was constantly criticized for lack of extroversion growing up, particularly in school (the 3rd house rules lower education) by teachers and peers. I was “too quiet”, “too inhibited”. In a sense, I was attacked for my “lack of Mars”. Unfortunately, I think this is quite common for people with Mars in Rx, we seem to invite aggression (in my case criticism because Virgo rules my 3rd house) in the area of life (house) that Mars is placed. I never attempted to “strike back” but kept my own pent up anger inside feeling worse and worse about myself, humiliated, yet for some reason unable to project the intensity outwardly – probably because it would only have caused me more reprimanding. However, the positive thing I’ve noticed with Mars Rx is that I have the ability to act independently of outside influences. In a sense I can act without desire being merged with action. Or rather, I can choose to redirect the build-up of intensity into unrelated activity. It’s definitely counter-intuitive, but it’s very useful in situations where one is required to act despite of a goal. Since people with Mars Rx have an obscure desire nature, there’s the ability to simply put one foot in front of the other and see what comes of the action.

There’s something to be said about inviting aggression from the outside with Mars Rx. Other people seem to want to cause a reaction by provoking the Mars Rx person to make them stand up for themselves and display some assertiveness. This never works because Mars Rx people don’t react defensively to personal attacks on the spot. They sit tight, face the situation calmly yet is feeling a build-up of energy that is likely going to erupt later, when the situations has passed and when it’s no longer relevant. They get angry with themselves for not acting on the spot, for not saying the things they wanted to say and display the strength that they really do possess. Mars Rx people often question their potency and can beat themselves up for not being more willful. As stated, the bouts of anger come only at a later time, which does nothing to gain the individual a reputation of being impactful. The moment has passed and the opportunity to strike is gone. It’s important to not be too hard with oneself, Mars Rx isn’t a character flaw, it’s part of one’s unique blueprint and one would do better focusing on the benefits rather than the down-sides. Mars is after all about confidence and there’s no reason why Mars Rx should settle for feeling “less than” confident. The key is to not look for external proof of one’s potency and be content with knowing that one is powerful despite appearances of lack of assertiveness. With Mars Rx one should avoid comparing oneself to other people. Comparison and competitiveness don’t benefit these people, for obvious reasons. Measuring one’s strength against another will leave one feeling neither strong nor confident because the strength of Mars Rx is passive and felt internally.

In order to not feel emasculated with Mars Rx, one has to be squarely doing one’s own thing and avoid caring about what other people think one should do or even what oneself think one should do based on social values. This is the only way to be happy with this natal planet in my opinion. Stop competing = stop depleting, stop comparing = stop caring. Mars Rx people have the opportunity to be real individualists when they start valuing their internal integrity rather than the outward display of it. In a sense, Mars Rx is a very pure Mars. It’s simple action, unmotivated and unresponsive. It will not win us any battles in the moment; Mars Rx doesn’t build any momentum, energy is extended outward in bursts, starts and stops. The approach that works the best is to let action flow through, rather than directing it deliberately. This is usually going to translate into a quite soft energy but it can be quite beautiful. The famous male ballet dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov had Mars Rx – he was especially admired for his gracious jumps and seemingly effortless soaring in his dancing. He’s a good example of Mars Rx manifesting in a very powerful way – he uses his Mars to move independently in a non-confronting “Venusian fashion”. Yet, no one could claim that he lacks strength. The famous basket player Michael Jordan also has Mars Rx and he is widely considered one of the greatest basketball player of all time. It makes sense that dance and sport should suit these people because these activities require starts and stops more than building momentum.

Mars Rx has a reputation for being sluggish and lethargic. I think this is inaccurate to accept as a rule, but it is certainly possible for these people to seem like they are. Other people often perceive Mars Rx people to be at least very chill and calm, which is not always the case, it’s just that the boil hasn’t reached the surface yet and when it does, it’s out of tune with the outer situation and its momentum. The Mars Rx person might sit tight in a social interaction, never showing any sign of annoyance or agitation, despite being pissed off. It might be frustrating to not be able to release energy directly but Mars Rx energy is better channeled into purposeful activity, into independent action. Some sources claim that Mars Rx can be prone to self-destructive behavior and self-harm because of pent-up energy and unexpressed anger. I think this is true, especially if one lives in a very hostile environment and has a hard time, because of one’s Mars Rx, to do something about it – to fight back, to spontaneously immerse oneself in “combat” and defend oneself. It could also be because one’s aggression, when openly displayed, is turned to a social disadvantage. People might claim that one is “over-reacting” because the anger response is out of proportion with the situation at hand. “Over-reacting” is common problem for people with Mars Rx, because they’re typically calm, until they burst – and then they’re commonly labeled crazy or even abusive. There’s no way to “win” socially with Mars Rx, I find – either one is accused of being too passive or too reactive. This social disadvantage could easily turn into self-hate and self-rejection, because one doesn’t get any approval from the outside. Depression is sometimes linked to planets in retrograde, and this is quite understandable, in the light of everything that they imply. Depression is after all often associated with repressed anger, of a blocked drive and frustrated desire.

People with Mars Rx say that it gets better with age and that Mars is gradually more easily expressed because of experience and understanding of oneself. This might be partly due to Mars going direct in one’s progressed chart, however, one cannot make Mars go direct in one’s natal chart, it is a fixed blueprint that one will have to contend with. This is not to say that one cannot become more conscious of one’s own psychology.
