Torterra has and always always will be no. 1 in my heart <<33 I used one during my first ever Nuzlocke and I named him Boba Fett, and that Nuzlocke has still stuck with me as like a weirdly formative and fond moment in my life where a lot of things irl were changing rapidly???? So I’m really attached to my little guy BCBSNEJDJXJ like don’t get me wrong I LOVE the other two heaps but if you asked me to pick one to become real I’d choose Torterra no hesitation he will always be my ride or die my number one my bestie 4 life

Kinda similar reasoning as Torterra, I used a Dragonite named Stella-Clover during my Nuzlocke of the original Pokémon Red that I was making into a purposefully poorly-drawn comic at the same time ( @serralocke I’m still working on it!!) and she unexpectedly became the character I was most attached to and developed the most BCNSNSNDJS

This is a really depressing answer but Mabostiff reminds me of my dog Hudson who passed away last year BCNSHENSK there’s even a whole plotline in the most recent game where your rivals Mabostiff is dying so you’ve gotta feed it magical sandwiches to get its energy back AND I WAS SOBBING LIKE A BABY CUZ I PLAYED THROUGH IT R I G H T AFTER HE DIED OAOAUGH,,, Hudson was a lot yellower but it’s that big stupid sad face that gets me LIKE COME OOOOOONNNNN

i turn 24 today. To celebrate, I made this comic to be a spiritual successor to lead balloon, a comic in which I talked about the darkest period of my life so far.

A lot has changed since my 23rd birthday and this one. My priorities have shifted a lot, in ways that I think are mostly good. But i think the best part about today is that suicide has gone back to being a far away notion. I'm really lucky, and I'm grateful for that.

Ahmed Saad, a Palestinian man who had to jump through an insane amount of loops to get the funds necessary for escaping Gaza, is asking us all to donate to his friend’s family fund.

Mohamed is a hemophilia patient who needs access to medicine and to do surgery on his knees, his 11-year-old daughter also needs thigh surgery (she was supposed to do it outside Gaza in November but couldn't travel due to the border issues). Mohammed’s condition is worsening rapidly and, with Israel destroying the last functional hospital in Gaza, things are looking dire.
