After further research this post was actually on the right track, and I would like to add a little from an article because it's not just universal though from what I've seen online, and through conversations with my lecturers, it was their agreement that reilled this whole thing up.

Millions of artists are steamed less than 1000 times per year, releasing through distrokid, CD baby, tune core and ditto, and it makes up a giant proportion of all streaming revenue that these corperations wanted and now already have (this was enacted in April). This is money that no matter how small an artist is or how little their songs are streamed was not earned by these massive labels and therefore is being stolen.

Dear artists,

You have rights to your royalties. Sign up to your countries musicians' unions and write to them asking for support on how to combat this and keep the money that YOU earned.

In the uk the largest is the MU.

And if you are not an artist, hold your favourites under these labels accountable. Get them to fight for the musicians who don't have their protection. They were all once nameless and faceless. Don't let them take your money without a fight.

Rhysand stans:"nobody wants to talk about how Rhysand is a SA Victim"

Girl, I see constantly posts/tiktoks/content about how Rhysand is a SA Victim and 99% of the comments are always super supportive, but every time a Nesta post is made about how she was SA'd by the Kelpie and/or Thomas there are always some Nesta antis in the comments being like "her trauma, doesn't absolve her of being a horrible sister!!!!" even though the post has nothing to do with feyre

or than god forbid people point out that feyre is a Victim of SA in the hands of Rhysand all hell breaks loose, and instead of acknowledging what rhysand did was SA , most of the fandom is out here trying to justify it with the same old tired phrase of "he did it to protect her" or even worse out right denying it by being like "rhysand touching feyre's waist, arms, making her sit on his lap and kissing her against her will isn't SA because only certain circumstances need to occur for it to be classified as SA"

Don't even get me started on the people who believe that gwyn faked her SA and is secretly an evil lightsinger

And the one who rarely gets any recognition of being a SA Victim (besides from his fans) is Lucien. I saw a handful of posts/tiktoks from lucien fans that bring this topic up but those are not nearly as popular as Rhysand's posts and where are almost always some people in the comments of lucien's posts who are asking "when did he get SA'd?"

i dont think this is relatable to anyone but a lot of people i encounter have never heard of fall out boy but the thing is i dont know if theyve never heard of fall out boy or if they just dont know theyve heard of fall out boy. and youre thinking, well thats easy. list some singles. ok. which singles. because trying to figure out which fall out boy single someone is most likely to have heard is like throwing a dart at a map. do i start with sugar? centuries? light em up? thanks for the memories? if they dont know any of these songs does that tell me theyve never heard a fall out boy song? no. it tells me theyve never heard those ones. dance dance, this aint a scene, the phoenix, uma thurman, i don't care. and still someones gonna come out the gate swinging to pull the rug from under me and tell me a week later they did actually know fall out boy. theyve heard the last of the real ones.

This is a weird question but an an American is thete anything about your life that is uniquely Californian compared to the rest of the other states in terms of a culture you grew up in or do

oh man. i'm sorry, it's gotta be talking about driving. i love my state so much. it's a beautiful, diverse, wonderful place, and we talk about driving so so so much.

if i go visit someone, the first thing i'm going to get asked is "what road did you take?" it's part of the greeting. "how are you, how was the drive, what road did you take?" and then you will talk about the road. you will discuss how the road is now, what's going on with that road, what other roads one might have taken. and then they'll offer their insights about the roads. when you leave, as part of the goodbye they will likely, with full earnestness, ask you what road you intend to take and discuss the options.

i know other places do this, but here it can be 80% of a conversation and that's not only normal but culturally literate and encouraged. and to be clear: this isn't me complaining about it! i do it, too! i genuinely enjoy it and it actually feels weird to go somewhere where this isn't the norm.
