Also, I recently realized that I'm a magpie kin instead of a crow kin. This is because I was under the impression of the common myth of Crows being interested in shiny objects, which recently discovered isn't true. However, that doesn't mean I'm dropping the crow bond, instead it's an emotional link for me I'm still connected to crows in an alterhuman context after all.

Hi! My name is Nat, though I also go by Victor (preferred) and Faust and I use he/it/they pronouns. I´m a 20-year-old Spanish alterhuman and I´m studying education in university.

I´m a therian, otherkin and fictionkin, although I tend to use alterhuman or therian generally on other social media. I´ve been aware for almost all my life that I was non-human, but I discovered the term when I was around 12/13 years old, now I´m here after quite a troublesome experience discovering my kins.

being a wolfbeast that shapeshifts into other animals and then also has other theriotypes and kintypes on top is. weird. sometimes

like. yes, we are a wolf through and through. and we are a wolf that sometimes transforms into a dog or a coyote or a wolverine or a bear or a long-tailed weasel.

but we also internally feel we're a red fox. and a leopard seal. and a jackrabbit. and a barn owl. and every single corvid (but especially crows, ravens, magpies, and blue jays). and a shrimp.

and then on top of that, we're also (internally) a protogen. and a TV head robot. and a malware program masquerading as one of those desktop pets that run around on your screen and you can interact with. and an orange slime glob.

and we don't get a lot in terms of species dysphoria. oh, sure, the occasional thing makes us anxious, and we get distressed when we're called human, but that's about it. we don't feel species euphoria around being a wolfbeast either, in much the same way that most humans won't feel species euphoria when they're recognized as a human; it's just what we are, it's our natural state of being.

we don't get species dysphoria* when it comes to our therio- and kintypes, but that's because we're already what we're "supposed" to be: a shapeshifting wolfbeast. but we do get euphoria, especially when playing games where we can be one of the above, making art and picrews of what we look like internally as our therio- and kintypes, or even just looking at other individuals of our species (or, in the case of protogens/robots/programs, individuals of a similar "make").

like. we are perfectly content and happy being a wolfbeast. we wouldn't want to change our physical body to be another species, simply because this is how we feel most at peace. but we're also happy being all of these other things, and holding them as part of who and what we are.

(* note: we don't get species dysphoria when it comes to our collective therio- and -kintypes. for individual therio/kintypes, such as Twitch's tiger theriotype, they may still feel species dysphoria that solely applies to them.)

NAME AND THERIOTYPES

Call me Magpie for now, I’m not settled on a ‘pet name’ yet but my cat self seems to respond happily to Magpie, I think it’s due to him being a black and white cat

my kin/theriotypes are vampirekin, bat therian and cat therian! with definitely more of an emphasis on the cat atm but it’s fluid! I am looking into cat regression and bat regression specifically and get phantom limb for basically pretty much every aspect of both animal.

GENDER AND PRONOUNS

I am ‘fully male’ as far as I know and also pansexual greyaroace, but I relish the chance to get funky with it, I’ve been incorporating more bat stuff into my gender recently and I’ve been really enjoying it! just no female terms or ‘uwu soft trans boy’ stuff please, at the end of the day I may be a soft little kitty catboy but I’m still a man.

xe/bat/vamp/meow are currently the preferred pronouns, but he and they work fine as well! it’s just I hear those more in my day to day life so using my ‘weirder’ pronouns is more appreciated <3

FURTHER INFO

I am in the 18-25 age range and do not regress down to any other age! although I’m not against agere I’m more interested in petre. I also swear a lot! If any of this makes you uncomfortable, I understand completely and genuinely no hard feelings! I also have not ‘properly’ regressed into a pet before either but am looking for tips on how to do so!
