Martyn: Now the characters that no ones talking about- and I’m surprised about that- is the Speakers. No one’s- no one’s ever brought them up in a conversation or in like a- or in an au. And that one baffles me.

Let me consult my google doc. Hmmm where is it. “Lore”. Unauthorized? What? It’s my document what are you talking about? How can I- how can you unauthorize me from my own document when I’ve literally just opened it on my docs part of google docs? 

Ah where is it.. “lore” here it is. Are we in.. chapter two.. chapter three... yeah we’re in chapter three. Cool, yeah. We’re in chapter three of the lore.

“There’s chapters now?” there always has been! I think I've even discussed that on stream. I’m pretty sure I’ve discussed that on stream, that there’s chapters to it all. “I think I deserve to know.” No. You least so out of anybody! *laughs* Yeah. i often think about grians fear alignments (like the magnus archives) and easiest is eye because of watcher and then lonely cus of a super cool post i saw earlier (if i can find it ill reblog it) BUT

He also fits with so many other ones

that i think hes just an archivist marked by all the fears and im sure people have alr come to this conclusion i just havent dont any deep dives yet of the hermit archives stuff (which i really want to)

so yea grian is just an archivist who originates from the eye... i might make more posts abt fear allignments and hermit/life series sillies

I'm a life series, hermitcraft, empires, Evo, Pow creations, Origins, and other smps (that I don't feel like typing) enthusiast. Heh editing Fynch here, probably should of just condescended this to Mcyt. Anyway, I like MYCT (see how I said Mcyt here this time (:), The magnus archives (TMA), Sanders sides, and One piece. I also like some life series and hermitcraft AU's such as Games of life (not the one I wrote, the other one. It's also one main of the ones that inspired me to make my own fanfic), From the archives (also known as the hermit archives), the Gemcyt (the life series one, I don't know much about any of the other ones), the southland archives (the one that Cherri wrote a few months ago), and some other ones.

Oh yeah and I also made my own au (as mentioned earlier) which is here if you want to check it out. Here's my youtube channel too where my upload schedule is non existent and I occasionally post animatics and other stuff.

I draw stuff and occasionally make said stuff I draw move. I wrote some fanfics as well. I also am a decent Minecraft player.

WAAAHHHH JBSDJGBJDG Hi! I'm sorry, we were not expecting to wake up to anything this morning. We are extremely flattered!! We're going to try to talk/answer any of your questions or theories without spoiling anything we have planned but firstly! You should definitely listen to The Magnus Archives it's such a good podcast. You don't have to worry about our fic containing spoilers for any of the events in the podcast (to my knowledge, at least. Anyone is free to correct me).

____ 1) Our main reason for having him wait a day before respawning was so THIS MAN COULD SLEEP. This man hasn't had a proper 8 hours of sleep in weeks at this point and needed the rest. The Universe spoke and said he needs to sleep.

2) We're actually going to start to explore people dying in the next chapter and we are VERY very exciting to start on that. What I think will be funny even going forward is seeing how terrified Jon is of seeing people die verse how laid back the hermits are about it. Cause realistically this is what, their ninth season so I'd say they're pretty desensitized to it.

3) I think about his reaction to Doc a lot cuz here comes this shirtless creeper goat cyborg with crocs. IT'S JUST TOO PERFECT. We haven't pin pointed when we're going to introduce the two but when we do it's going to be so much fun to write.

4) Cub <3 <3 <3 So far Cub has been our favorite hermit to write cuz he's just so chill. He could say the most out there sentence and you'll be looking at him and he's just got a blank expression. You'll look at him like did you not just hear what came out of your mouth and he'll look like he's said nothing wrong. Love his guy

5) It's just a few things we think about the difference between hermits and non hermits. For hermits mining for resources is an (at least) a once a week things. Non hermits haven't needed to mine for resources by hand since what, since heavy machinery was introduced on the scene. So it's not something they think about unless their job is to mine for those resources / work those heavy machines.

6) I wouldn't say it's foreshadowing but mainly a light jab at Jon cuz maybe he looks like the kind of guy who you'd give him simply directions and he still gets lost.

(We are those people. Driving downtown is confusing even with a gps)

But yes, maybe Jon does have an encounter with some mobs later on. Who's to say? Hehe.

Anyways, I'm super glad that you've been enjoying our fic so far! Super exciting to get back to writing it more often now that we have a lot more free time.

Okay okay, everybody seeing this and thinking about the lack of fics for the hermits they like neeeds to look through the reblogs and comments because there are so many good recommendations!

Going to repeat recommend Swimmy Fish by kitsune, because it satifies my xBralis needs, and Attiofem, which is SUCH a good Iskall fic!

Also, From the archives is a really cool magnus archives crossover- it is Grian/boatem-centric, but it focuses on each of the hermits and the empires members as well. It's super cool!

Next, Ilayawakeatnight has a bunch of really good Tango fics, (as well as my beloved Rescue Fire), here's a really good ongoing Cleo centric fic, Nyctae's God's wish us well and guide us to hell is a great Etho and Beef centric college AU (with Tango and Keralis fics sprinkled in) and EntropicThyme has some great ZITS and Zedaph centric fics, I especially recommend It's all gone to rust (the ZIT bois are robots) and It's just a jump to the left (a post moon big time travel fix-it)

I'm planning on writing more things too, I've got plans for some xBralis fics in the future, so yay! (Also someone recommended my ongoing demon Impulse fic I am in tears TwT)

Something I noticed recently is some hermits have a SEVERE lack of fics centered around them, like I get that people either don’t watch someone or just genuinely don’t know how to write them but I’d love to see more of the underrated hermits get the spotlight in the fics! So here’s my list of “hermits that need more fic centric things!”

Mainly because most fics I see are usually mumbo, Grian, and scar centric

The Arcana & The Magnus Archives Crossover GO

If you’re one of my MOTW game players don’t read this, spoilers be ahead. 

Alright for this one we're gonna go with which one they'd vibe the most with, so like for Lucio, probably not an avatar of the End,

Asra: aw fuck started with the hardest one. He's not a violent guy, just flaky. definitely more a mental fear than a physical one. he hates keeping secrets even if he does it a lot, so i don't think eye is a good fit. he does disappear a lot, which leads me to think Lonely, but that doesn't suit him either really. Asra is very in tune with magic and understands how to navigate the realm of Arcana, though, so Imma put him down as SPIRAL.  

Julian is a self imposed martyr, doesn't take care of himself and goes way too far in pursuit of knowledge. He also dies more than is usual, and has that cool curse that lets him take on the wounds of others. While he does have some Eye traits, im gonna go with the END because of his background as a doctor during a plague and the aforementioned curse and death thing.

Nadia felt stifled by her family, and entered a political but shitty marriage in order to escape her older sisters and parents who she felt all saw her as the baby. That can imply the Buried, but I actually think the WEB fits her better. Nadia is a meticulous planner, incredibly smart, and in her bad ending actually does a really good job of manipulating and trapping other people

Portia: honestly this girl's plot is just so intertwined with secrecy that it's hard for me to see her as anything but an avatar of the Eye. Like, she keeps so much stuff to herself, and there's so much stuff that gets discovered with her family (re: her brother being Julian and in her route, whatever the fuck is up with Aunt Vasya) and she's a perilous snoop. So EYE makes sense, really.

Muriel: my favorite character cause im a sucker for stronk people with dark hair. He's one of the few characters with a violent backstory, and his route has a lot of fighting, which could lead to him being an avatar of the Slaughter (or Flesh), but he's also such a Lonely guy that his patron card is literally the Hermit. I'm going to go with SLAUGHTER just because of how much it fucked with him, but he definitely doesn't like it.

Lucio. He's definitely not a servant of the End, he's way too afraid of it and he's the other character with a lot of violence in his backstory so it's going to be something grody. Corruption could work because of the Plague Beetles that followed him everywhere, but probably either the Desolation or the Hunt would fit best. I'm gonna go with the HUNT, because he's actually done a lot of mercenary work and military bullshit.

Also hermitcraft! Basically anything hermitcraft I can get my grubby little Minecraft hands on.

Currently Craving: Ginger Peach Iced tea, it is hot and humid and I require cold drinks ;-; though the Amelia project has given me an incessant desire for good cocoa.

Ok so apparently ive admitted defeat about my resolve to not get hyped up. So since ive seen other people do it here's some things im hoping come out of this tma surprise
