the idea of cal and andre being nothing without each other HAS to be one of my favorite relationship dynamics for them. like. andre being nobody without cal and cal being nobody without andre. like theyre fucking hosting off each other like a parasite. andre in the car scene before the shooting.

that scene is so special to me. them needing one another to survive. andre trusting cal at the suicide scene. he did it even if he had to throw away his plan to escape with him. even though he did all that work, of gathering the fake passports, id's, the whole 'we're gonna skip town together' idea. he risked all of that for cal. because he would rather be dead with him than alive without cal

yeah! i bought the game for the switch the other day! i like how its layed out into cases and after ur done it tells u if u have found everything n stuff and im enjoying it i was a bit unsure if i would bc like its not professor layton but kat is fun!

so, idk if you've heard of it but apparently people who code for a living have a rubber duck (or equivalent) that they read their code to and sometimes realize mistakes. the thought occurred to me that the Bad Kids would a) *be* the "duck" for Riz, b) actually give Riz a rubber duck/plush/something to act as his duck, or c) both. If he was given a duck, there'd absolutely be one in his office, one for the apartment and possibly even spares for his briefcase and locker.

Riz used to do this right at the beginning of his investigation into the missing girls, back when he didn't have friends to bounce ideas off. He took it out of their bathroom and would have it perched on his bed while he rambled. It couldn't talk back but having something with a face there really helped him get his thoughts out.

Now that he DOES have friends though he will, 99% of the time, talk to one of them instead (though he does have to check the time before calling just in case he wakes one of them up at 3am by accident). If it's late at night Adaine is usually the person he'll call first, she usually doesnt try to trance before about 1am at the earliest so its a good bet she'll be awake.

Sometimes he's so deep in a case that he forgets that other people might be asleep. Fabian has been woken up many times to Riz calling him in a slightly manic state needing to info dump to someone. He usually just turns his crystal onto speaker mode and roll over and pass back out to the sound of the goblin talking.

His friends get him a stuffed bear with a deerstalker cap and magnifiying glass as a gift once and that gets talked to a lot when his friends arent free (its nearly as big as he is). It lives in his briefcase and you can tell he's having a lot of trouble with a case if Bearlock Holmes is on his desk when you go to visit his office.

Other jerkish things Herbert has done include: Stealing or maliciously modifying Gary the Gadget Guy's blueprints and inventions for his plans several times, nearly sinking the /entire/ island of Club Penguin (technically an accident BUT he was intentionally trying to heat it against everyone's will when it happened) by using a giant magnifiying glass. Right before the island sinking, he also kidnapped three of the agents (and puffles) and tied one to a rocket! :D (1)

For the masters guest anon, someone recently mentioned that Taylor coming out would push Karlie out of the closet too which would put Josh’s and her relationship under the magnifiying glass which, let’s be honest, whoever looked little deeper would find a lot of things that make 0 sense. So by buying her masters on the day she was planning to come out would 1) leave her in the closet because they knew she wouldn’t do it after that mess 2) would leave Karlie (and by default Josh) in the closet too! So I wouldn’t find it surprising that Josh did have smth to do with it (probably pushed by the family in law who wouldn’t want that drama around their name) and I do think at one point Taylor might’ve thought Karlie had smth to do with it too but then Karlie explained what happened
