I am in love with the sci-fi (horror-ish) trope of the flesh machine. A violent bash of opposites, put in a blender and glued back together. Looks and feels like a playdough set, bits of clay caught in plastic gears and seams. It's visceral and parasitic. Whether that is flesh growing from machinery or machinery made of flesh, the messier, the more incomprehensible, the better.
