The Points of the Star

In the .E.D.A., "The Adventuress of Henrietta Street" we are told that one of The Service's founders John Dee, (astronomer, spy, magacian, and royal confidante) entrusted to it five secret, "Points of the Star" names which when written onto agent's bodies intending to lend a great and holy strength. Going by what's known about Dee in both real life and the Whoverse, (specifically his use of the, "Angelical" enochian magic language in his brainwashing experiments) the five names are probably those of the five archangels thats are described as having been central to his actions, (aswell as being a common grouping in medieval and renaisssance occult works) detailed in the first part of his central magic text, "The Five Books of Mystery".

Intended powers notes 1.Most likely written in Dee's, "Angelical" ecochian magic language. (The fact the Star Chamber has a reality changing language like the Timelord's Circular Galifreyan is another example of resonance). 1.Since the hebrew meaning of each of the achangel's names it makes sense that each power is different. 2.The power works until the name is smudged or removed. 3.Lisa-Beth Lachlan's blackmail cannot simply be the archangel's names as they are already well known so it must of been the knowledge that they can grant powers. (Though who would take a prositute making proclemations about the occult seriously? Wouldn't the Service's member just accept their leaders inevitable denials?). 4.Could be genuinely magical with at least 1 and 4 being covered by psionics. We are told that the devestation or destruction of Gallifrey 8, (swapped with 1) in the Kasterbourous system the Battle of Mutter's Cluster brought back magic to some extent, (presumably not to that of the, "wilder magics" returning and for a limited period until Gallifrey 3 takes it's spacial position?).

2.Gabriel. Hebrew menaing: God is my strength. Compass point: North. Intended power: Increased strength.

3.Raphael Hebrew meaning: God has healed. Compass point: West. Indtended power: Faster self healing and or healing others.

4.Uriel Hebrew menaing: Fire of God. Compass point: South. Intended power: Mental flame creation and control.

5.Ammael Hebrew meaning: Grace or glory of God. Compass point: .N/A. Intended power: Increased luck.

Reading about the origin of the Reformed Great Table of Raphael in Enochian Angel Magic is wild. Apparently it was used to decrypt a series of numbers that was a message from god confirming that by "share everything" between John Dee and Edward Kelly, it indeed meant their wives as well which John was against but Kelly was like "dude trust me" imagine being like "listen, I talked to god and he gave me this:

So we can decrypt a series of numbers he gave me... and the decoded message is: God says I can fuck your wife and you can fuck mine" Wild, and then this table conflicting with the original Table of the Earth (watchtowers) would lead to a huge split and debate among practitioners to this day over which table to use

It truly was a scene out of a fairytale. Amira, dressed in a beautiful green gown with matching makeup, carried a basket brimming with Ferrari cupcakes. Little did most people know that her true passion lay in baking.

With an exuberant grin, she entered the paddock and spotted Lewis and Fernando. Skipping over to them, she called out, “Lew-Lew, Nando. Guess what?” The two men exchanged grins, eagerly asking, “What?” Amira proudly presented her cupcakes: one adorned with a tiny racing helmet for Nando and another shaped like a car for Lewis. Their awe was palpable as they stared at her creations. “Go on, try them,” she urged, nervously playing with her hair.

After the first bite, the two world champions showered her with praise. With kisses on their cheeks, Amira sought out her other friends. Max, Key, and little P were next. P, with her innocent curiosity, asked, “Aunty Ami, what’s in your basket?” Amira replied, maintaining a serious tone, “Well, my lovely gato, this magical basket holds cupcakes for you, your Mama, and your Papa.”

Kelly and Max, overhearing the sweet exchange, approached. Max hugged Amira tightly, while Kelly planted a brief kiss on her forehead. As she distributed the cupcakes, they all savored the magical treats. Max leaned down to Penelope’s height and whispered, “At least one of your Mamas can bake.” making him share a meaningful glance with Kelly.

After a sweet goodbye and a promise for dinner this weekend Amira ran to Kika and Pierre. Before she could run too far, a pair of strong arms picked her up from the ground. She immediately realised who it was. "Pierre, let me down" she laughed. Kika and Pierre were giggling with her, immediately crowding her against the wall. The two of them really had no limit. After sharing two kisses with Kika and Pierre on the lips, because according to them this is how close friends greeted each other in France and Portugal, she told them a bit breathless about her creation. "Oh Babygirl, you are truly an angel" whispered Pierre in her ear while Kika slowly kissed her neck. Pierre took a bit of the cupcake cream, smeared it on Amiras lips and kissed it off of them. "Mmmmhhh, amazing" he whispered. He held the cupcakes up for Kika, who did the exact same thing. While Kika was cleaning Amira from any excess creme (kissing her breathless) Pierre brushed his hands over her body and kissed her temple.

Before the situation could escalate anymore, the little group got interrupted from Pierre team principal. "You know, babgirl. If you come over to us tonight, Pierre and I can show you the real way to use whipped cream in the bed" Kika said to her with a predatory glint in her eyes. "The real way?" asked Amira naively. "Ohh amour, we have a lot of learning to do."

Amira, having settled down from her playful escapade with Pierre and Kika, continued distributing cupcakes. As she encountered George, Alex, Lily, and Carmen, she offered each of them a sweet treat along with a warm hug, saying, “One for you.” Lily couldn’t help but exclaim, “This girl is too good for this world,” a sentiment echoed by the other three.

Amira followed the same approach when giving Oscar and Lando their cupcakes. However, the two papaya drivers weren’t willing to let her go so easily. They convinced her to play a round of Monopoly, which was really just an excuse to keep her company.

As for Carlos and Charles, after the race, they discovered picture-perfect cupcakes waiting in their drivers’ room. Attached were two heartfelt notes. If the two of them shed a few tears after reading Amira’s encouraging messages, well, that was their little secret.

Okay but like. AU where Mary doesn’t actually learn Cas is an Angel until waaaaay later

Her first introduction to Cas involves Dean frantically getting her to lower her gun, Cas tearfully throwing himself at Dean like a widower reunited with their believed-dead spouse, Dean hugging Cas back just as tightly, and her giving them that Oh They Gay side eye. When Dean says Cas is an Angel, let’s be real given the context she has it probably sounds Super Married. Cas agreeing that he’s an Angel, not a hunter, could come off as “yeah I put up with so much shit for this guy,” especially when paired with his exasperated “no I don’t have a harp” — it just screams “we’ve been married so long that this isn’t even an inside joke it’s a double act and I’m a reluctant but committed participant.”

Also seriously, I know she was literally just resurrected by god’s sister, but “he’s an Angel —wings, harp, you know” sounds like spousely teasing, not a proper or coherent introduction to an entire species that until that moment you didn’t know where actually real or something you could tangibly interact with

When Sam and Dean are missing and Cas attempts to locate them and takes up hunting, Mary would chalk up his lack of success to the fact that he’s not a hunter — he’s a hunter’s husband. Mary herself has personal experience with this exact thing, given that John wasn’t raised a hunter either. As such, she’s either a little softer on her assumed son-in-law, or she projects hard onto him

Cas preferring to fight with a magic blade and not firearms? Not wise in their life, but again, he’s not actually a hunter. She tentatively brings up her concerns with Dean and he says he’s working on getting Cas to use a gun, but Cas is a stubborn asshole (he says with fondness), plus he’s damn good with that blade, so he’s fine in the meantime. She raises her eyebrow but leaves it for the time being

That time Cas kills Death for her and her sons? That’s just devoted husband/in-law behavior, especially given how emotional he gets after — look closely, Cas absolutely had very human tears in his eyes as he monologues about how important and special they are to him

That time Cas almost dies horribly and is saved by a demon? Everyone just doesn’t say “it’s specifically because he’s an Angel” here, at least not when she’s in ear shot, and if Crowley still calls him “choir boy” and such, well he’s a sarcastic demon, why should she worry about his weird quips, there are more important things to deal with. For all she knows, this is just a horrible curse that any of them could’ve gotten if they were stabbed with that blade

One time she tentatively asks Sam about Cas and Dean, specifically asking how long they’ve been together. Sam just laughs in Long Suffering Little Brother

Otherwise, Mary doesn’t really ask, not really wanting to push and frankly not doing so great with the whole My Babies Are Now Older Than Me And Everyone Else I Know Is Dead thing. If Cas is weird about technology or uses strange syntax or usually lets Dean finish his meals for him, she has very little to compare it to and very little brain space to spend on it anyway. She’s still processing that her son is old enough to be married in the first place, who cares if the guy he’s grossly in love with is a little strange. He seems nice enough, and she’s content leave it at that

As a result of her keeping her distance, with a pinch of contrived convenience here, she just straight up misses all the times Cas uses his Grace or references heaven or anything like that

Yes she still knows about the whole Lucifer-Kelly-Nephilim thing, but she could just mentally categorize Lucifer with Powerful Demon — given that she was killed by a powerful demon, she doesn’t really need a theology lesson to know that Satan having a baby is probably bad. Yes she still works with the MOL, but they’ve got her on such an information diet that no one pulls her aside to say “btw you know that non-human celestial being that hangs around with your barbarian sons is a non-human celestial being, right?”

She’s a hunter from a long line of hunters, and even if she makes questionable choices she’s smart and experienced. She just has a massive blind spot where Cas is because she assumes that he’s just her sweet if strange son-in-law that her son is obviously and painfully in love with, and nobody corrects her because they assume she already knows

She finds out by complete accident in the most mundane way possible — Cas lifting the Impala so Dean can do mechanic stuff underneath it, Cas using his Grace to heal someone’s papercut, Cas accidentally cutting himself with a kitchen knife and not reaching to the injury which disappears in 2.8 seconds anyway

She shoots him on the spot. He’s fine, of course, but everyone else collectively loses their shit

At no point is it actually clarified that Dean and Cas aren’t actually together. Instead Mary walks away mildly embarrassed that she had no idea her son-in-law wasn’t human

Every single time Foop/Irep has ever interacted with and/or mentioned his parents

(OG FOP only because he hasn't talked about them once in A New Wish. That might change in season 2 if they decide to include the antifairies more. I love this family and their non-existent relationship ♥️)

I go into quite a bit of detail here so I'll put the rest under the cut!

1. Anti Poof (Season 7, episode 1)

This was the only episode his parents showed up on screen with him. But it's important to note how Anti Wanda and Anti Cosmo react to his existence in the first place. They're excited!

They both want this child! Anti Cosmo starts the episode bemoaning the fact that there isn't an anti-poof and that he wants equality for antifairies. (Poof/Peri has existed for an entire season at this point.)

I'm assuming it's just the case of antifairy pregnancy possibly being longer than fairy pregnancy and the fact Poof/Peri was made through a magic wish unlike Foop/Irep that they weren't born around the same time, but who knows how any of that even works. But regardless of that, his parents are both overjoyed when Foop/Irep is born--Anti Wanda's love for her son is out of the question, and Anti Cosmo only gets mad at his son once Foop/Irep goes out and ruins anti fairy world, not in any other instance does Anti Cosmo act mean to Foop/Irep, even when he gets zapped twice by him, AC merely reprimands Foop/Irep by telling him that he needs a nap.

Gotta love the ending where his parents get him a cake and want to break him out of jail. Baby's first jail time!

Irep/Foop's second appearance Playdate of Doom (Season 7, Episode 22) doesn't have any mention to his parents, sadly. And oddly enough, this goes both ways with his parents. Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda appear in Balance of Flour (season 7, episode 29), which was their last and final on screen appearance in the original show, and they dont mention their son at all. It's noticably weird because Poof/Peri was there the entire time. Despite his parents disappearing off screen, the start of Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda getting mentioned does start the next season after.

2. Love Triangle (season 8, episode 1)

(I'm going to just refer to Irep and Peri as their current names from now on instead of using both because it gets tedious.)

Irep's Kelly Clarkson lunchbox aside--in this scene he states that his Mother packed Anti Venom in his lunch as well as his chicken nuggets. I like to think this means Anti Wanda packs his school lunch regularly because that's cute.

These constant mentions of his parents from here on out are notable because it means that even though they don't show up, heck, they don't even show up in the episode Spellmentary School is introduced despite Cosmo and Wanda being there and that being the perfect opportunity to use Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda, it's being implied and shown that Irep is still in the care and custody of his mother and father.

Despite showing up in season 9 by himself, Irep does not mention either of his parents again after the first episode of season 8, but it's still shown that he lives with his parents in their castle.

3.Return of the L.O.S.E.R.S. (Season 10, Episode 7)

Irep starts mentioning his parents again starting in season 10. In this scene he states that he's in timeout for now because he put spiders in his father's food. If I wanted to get nitpicky about this, Love Triangle implies antifairies actually eat spiders and don't seem to mind.

Irep continues to mention his parents in a few season 10 episodes after this.

4. Blue Angel (season 10, episode 13)

Irep mentions that he took his rich father's credit card and used it to buy a bunch of cars to destroy the environment. I don't doubt Anti Cosmo has a ton of money considering he's the leader of the antifairies, but there's no way he actually gave Irep that card willingly lol. Outside of that the Chloe and Irep interaction in this was nice, the only part of the episode I really liked.

Irep continues to show up in season 10 after this episode and does not mention his parents in any other appearances outside of his last one. Which is episode 35...

5.Certifiable Super Sitter (season 10, episode 35)

Certifiable Super Sitter is that one episode with the Vicky chainsaw image that people keep ragging on because it breaks every established rule. Peri doesn't show up at all for this entire season until this episode. The in-universe reason is because he was at school the entire time, the writing reason being because of too many characters. Despite this, Irep shows up more often than his own counterpart.

Irep states the reason he came over is because "his parents left without leaving him a forwarding address again."

Again? What does he mean by again? He's literally been living in Anti-Cosmo's Castle the entire time. These screenshots are from the exact same season. And there has been nothing to imply that Anti Wanda and Anti Cosmo even moved out of the castle in the first place. The castle in literally still in Anti-Cosmo's name. Even after they stopped appearing, Irep's mentions of them implied that they all still lived in Anti-Cosmo's Castle. How else would Irep be getting his lunches packed by his mother, how else would Irep have gotten in trouble for putting spiders in his father's pasghetti?

Anti Wanda attached herself to her son as soon as he was born and called him "Sweetie." (Anti Poof) Anti Cosmo literally cried over not being able to have a godchild. (The Fairly Oddlympics) I don't think they would purposely do that.

If Irep never mentioned his parents outside of Anti Poof, then I guess that could be a way to explain their absence? But it just doesn't make sense. He kept bringing them up. His parents were in his life. Like I'd even take the explanation of 'Anti Cosmo and Anti Wanda had an offscreen 3 season side plot where they get hunted down' or something crazy like that. What happened???

"Blue Magic" Leatherbound AU

As far back as he could remember, Billy had always felt neutral about kissing. In the old black and white movies his mom used to show him, when people would kiss, fireworks would go off, the women would swoon, and the men would get a dopey look on their faces, like kisses were magic.

And they apparently were, if Disney was right. True love’s kiss could break any spell, and sometimes hearts would appear in a characters eyes, their heart almost beating cartoonishly out of their chest.

But Billy didn’t see the big deal. It was just pressing your lips to someone else’s. What was so special about that. His suspicions were confirmed correct when he had his first kiss, when he was 13, with Kelly Friedman in the back row of the movie theatre. He’d been shy back then, so she’d taken the initiative to lean over and capture his lips with her own. He remembers for a couple seconds thinking maybe, just maybe, it would be as special as in the movies, but he felt nothing.

It wasn’t bad, per se, it was just like he’d thought, kind of warm, and kind of sticky, from Kelly’s lip gloss. He wasn’t racing to do it again, although he did kiss a lot of girls over the coming years. Making out was at least better than listening to his cafes complain about school, their parents and friends, and who was going to say no to kissing Billy Hargrove, even if he was cutting you off while you were telling him about that bitch Amber Stevens from math class, or how the lunch lady always gave you less fries than everyone else?

He’d eventually decided that maybe it was the girls that were the problem, so he’d spent a few evenings under the boardwalk with boys in town on summer vacation, boys who wouldn’t be sticking around long enough to become a problem, but that wasn’t it either. Yeah, he was definitely into guys, and he really liked sex, eagerly seeking out anyone who would wrap their lips around his cock or let Billy go down on them, but still, kissing did nothing for him.

That was until he found himself three beers deep down at the quarry, sitting on a checkered blanket, obscured from the view of passers by by Steve Harrington’s car. They were on their first date. After months of circling each other, Steve had asked Billy out one day while they were putting basketballs away after practice. Billy had accepted, although he was pissed that Steve had beat him to it. He wanted to be the first to grow a pair.

They’d gotten burgers and shakes at Benny’s, then went to the movies, and now they were here, splitting a six pack, their fingers inching closer and closer until Billy finally slid their palms together. It was comforting, holding Steve’s warm, dry hand in his own.

They sat in companionable silence until Steve softly asked if he could kiss Billy. Billy had nodded, figuring they might as well get it over with. And then Steve pressed his lips to Billy’s, and Billy saw stars. The world tilted on it’s axis, a choir of angels sang, a feeling of bliss came over Billy, and he swore that at any moment, his heart was going to beat cartoonishly out of his chest. Billy had never felt like this before, but he had a feeling he was going to become addicted to Steve’s plush, soft lips against his own. It was everything the movies said a kiss would be and more.

Steve leaned back, a dopey look on his face, grinning as Billy touched his fingers to his lips.

“What, Hargrove?,” Steve laughed softly, “this your first kiss or something?”

Billy chuckled, his lips still tingling. “Yeah, something like that.”

Rowena and the thick, bloody umbilical cord between choices and faults.

In a previous post of mine I’ve explored a little bit how Mary and Kelly represent a sort of “missed opportunity” for, respectively, Sam and Jack.

At the beginning of s13 Sam resents the fact that he hasn’t been proactive in seeking to create a relationship with his mother and now that she’s (presumably) gone he doesn’t want to deal with that reality. He had wasted his second chance. Jack, on the other hand, never even had a first opportunity to begin with but, unlike Sam, has experienced a sense of unity with his mother so extreme that one of the first things that he tells Sam is that he was his mother(!!!).

S13 reinforces the Mother-Son symbolism because, after Jack’s birth, a rift is opened in space (apparently not in time?): Kelly stays (dead, rip girl I love you) on one side of it while Mary crosses it and finds herself in Apocalypse World. To make things even more clear, this is no random parallel universe: this is the alternate reality where Mary didn’t deal with Azazel. So mothers and their choices/faults are a central theme in this season. Or, well, more or less.

To complete the mothers’ trimurti or, better, tridevi we’re missing the final mother, the destroyer who is, of course, Rowena. It’s therefore quite apt that Rowena reaches her highest potential this season and even confronts Death. What motivates her in an interesting blend of (missing)love and (lacking)power. Lucifer is as part of her story as Kelly’s and Mary’s. Unlike these two, though, she doesn’t have a son who resurrects her, nor a turned-benefactor cosmic being who offers her resurrection as a gift to her son. Rowena has to resurrect herself. Not once but twice. She is, perhaps, the loneliest character in the whole series.

This is actually quite ironic because, if we look back on previous seasons, her “choice” to kill Oskar, her putative son, was what triggered the whole chain of events (the freeing of Amara first and Lucifer second) that directly link Rowena with Mary and Kelly.

It’s only natural, then, that s13 Rowena keeps representing the reversal of the Mary and Sam/ Kelly and Jack relationships because there is no son who’s looking for her, rather she is the mother who’s looking for her (dead) child. Like Sam, she also needs someone who can access another dimension to bring Crowley back but, unlike him, she’s not successful. Now, ngl, this pisses me off to no end, like of course I can understand the real reasons why Crowley couldn’t be brought back, still I kinda hate how it was narratively framed.

When, in "Funeralia", Rowena says that life is unfair she is right but not in the general, pessimistic sense of the phrase: she's right because in-universe some deaths are more important than others and people get back on board depending on whether or not they're still a role to play for them. Rowena's faith in magic is actually justified because magic is the only thing that can help her. And the tragic thing is that it's also what damns her in the process because it's the only form of power she can have access to. There are no angels or cosmic entities looking out for her. She's just... alone.

So, perhaps, it's not that I necessarily hate how her failure to bring Crowley back is described, I just see it as further proof that Rowena is the best example to show how in Supernatural the game is rigged from the beginning and we didn’t even need an interfering and pervy God to realize it. That's all we've been seeing it since S1. All those infinite, booooring talks about being good/evil or doing good/bad actually mean nothing because, at the end of the day, in this show what really matters is how useful you can be, to whom and why (and this is way less booooring, you learn a lot of interesting things about these characters if you go down this road, it's grim but it's more rewarding).

S13 is also when the final connection between Rowena and the Winchesters, Sam to be more precise, is established which is indicative of the fact that she will inevitably die. Before S13 her story was her own, after “Funeralia” it cannot be extricated from Sam’s. To some degree, it’s quite similar to what happened with Crowley and Dean. What’s more, just like Crowley’s powers and shrewdness are what really carry the plot from s6 to s12, magic and spells (and therefore Rowena’s role in the story) will be the key for many plot points from s13 to s15. But there is a big difference.

Both Crowley and Rowena’s sacrifices are described as heroic but, let’s be honest, only Rowena’s was. Crowley’s demise was a clean-up after his own mess at best. It also proved to be unnecessary. Rowena and that awful MBOL’s egg thingy would have managed to confine Lucifer, like, they actually did it. It was Crowley who perverted the spell for reasons that I personally find OOC. I would’ve liked the Crowley vs Lucifer power struggle but not the way it was done in s12 because it felt very nonsensical to me. As in: I can see you need a reason to keep Lucifer around and this is what you’ve come up with but it’s still quite illogical.

At its hidden and secret core S13 is the season of the “let’s reframe the sons’ stories and blame it on the mothers”. Just like Kelly is blamed for Castiel’s ideal vision of Jack and Mary’s "choice" is established as the most important point in the whole show, Rowena-as-Mother must face the same fate: it was her fault if Crowley, Fergus!, ended the way he ended. It’s a naaaaaaaaaaaaaah for me.

This is what we’re told in “Funeralia”:

Rowena: Oh, but it is. Death has something I want. Sam: What’s that? Rowena: My son. After you told me he was gone, how he died, I had an unexpected reaction. We had our differences, but it’s my fault he went down the path he did. I left him. Dean: We’re talking about Crowley-- demon, King of Hell? Rowena: We’re talking about Fergus-- a man abandoned and loveless, tricked by a demon, died in a gutter. He deserved better from the world. From me.

Now, just to be clear: yes, Rowena had the responsibility to do better; yes, she was the absolute worst; yes, she played no small role in her son’s story. However, I personally don’t like all these negative associations between “worlds” and “mothers” as if every fucking thing in the universe is dependent solely on them. How did we end up here? It’s almost as if absent fathers are, like, not THAT bad after all (and the show, as far as I'm concerned, ultimately approves of and absolves absent fathers). So I’m very suspicious of the way motherhood is portrayed specifically in s13 and Rowena’s attempt at redemption well demonstrates that there is reason to be so.

This dialogue in “Funeralia” confirms my gut feeling:

Sam: You know, what happened with Crowley? That wasn’t your fault. Rowena: He never had a chance. Dean: He made his choices, just like we all do. Look, every one of us has done something that we have to live with, that were trying to make up for. Every one of us. Sam: Even without all that extra juice, you’re still the deadliest witch around [Sam's flattering Rowena. He's gonna ask for her help in 3,2,1...]. Rowena: Flatterer. Sam: Yeah, well, we, um... we may need your help [Here we go!]. To save our family. To… hell, to save the world. Dean: You wanna be redeemed? This would be a pretty big step. Rowena: And do you think I still can be? Dean: Yeah, I do.

I mean, not to be rude, but who the fuck cares if Dean Winchester thinks that Rowena can be redeemed? Like, how is Rowena’s redemption (which is strictly connected to her being a bad mother and not, among other things, a zero-regret murderer, which she also happens to be, for instance) connected to saving the Winchester’s family? Don’t get me wrong, I understand that this is SPN and that Sam and Dean’s problems are Apocalypse-level problems (lol, they really did that, when I say that their story is like a cosmogony maybe I’m not that wrong) but, as I’ve said, I cannot help but notice the similarities between Rowena’s arc this season with Mary’s and Jack’s, i.e. you can be redeemed if you either do something useful for the Winchesters or... realize that it's not your "fault" that your sons suffered terribily because "choosing" to deal with Azazel was actually the right choice... for the world. How come fathers saving the world are framed as heroic while mothers actively creating worlds by making hard choices that benefit the greater good need redemption?

So to sum up: while fathers invade S13’s main storyline as solvers, restorers and fixers, mothers are the bones of the story, they carry its weight and its sins but get little if nothing in return: Kelly stays dead, Mary ends up helping out a world that absolves her of her Original Sin but that’s nevertheless a mess (you can never win lol) and Rowena can’t get her son back (but she can save Sam and Dean's family the world!). Looks good, right? Hurray mommy!

Spn x mlp crossover.

(Keep in mind that I haven't watched this show in years, but I love the idea of a spn x mlp crossover).

Most hunters are earth pony's but some more adept at magic were unicorns.

Demons are changelings.

Angels are ailcorns.

Pegasus, much like unicorns, were rare and often not trusted by hunters.

Alright, first, Sam!

Sam, unlike the rest of his family, is a unicorn.

but his horn was broke off when he was somewhat young(I'd say around 12 years old).

Now I can't decide why it broke off, but I have a few ideas

1. John broke it off as hunters don't like to work with unicorns and sometimes even try to kill them as some believed unicorns were witches.

2. It was broken off during a hunt.

3. Sam broke it off as a way to stop being the black sheep in his family.

When Sam exercises demons, his horn becomes complete again for those few moments having a translucent or spectral look to it.

Later in the series, due to Sams any possession from different supernatural beings, the fur on the side of his torso has a permanent indent of wings, much like the ones left behind by dead angels.

his cutiemark is a bloody book with horns above it.

The meaning behind his cutie mark;

The horns represent the demon blood and being Lucifers vessel.

The book represents being a researcher.

And the blood represents all the blood on his hands.

And the writing on the book first with the stuff that isn't covered in blood is in latin(I know I drew it in gibberish) 'puer cum dæmonio sanguine qui mortuus fuerit ut impius , et consurget quasi princeps mendacii' that hopefully translates to a 'child with demon blood who died as a wicked man, and will rise again as a prince of lies' but the part covered in blood says 'sed pugnabit tenebris

et vincet'

That translates to 'but he will fight against the darkness

and he will win'

(My drawing isn't great, but at some point, I want to draw spn as ponys).

On to Dean!

Dean, much like his father, is an earth pony, but when he was younger, he'd regularly put a cone on his head to resemble a horn as to make his brother not feel left out.

His cutie mark is a knife with dark blue wings pertruding from the sides.

The knife represents him being the fighter.

The wings represent him being the righteous man and Michael’s vessel.

The blood is of all the innocent people he's killed.

Dean and his brother often theorised why his cutie mark had wings.

1. Dean thought it was because when he saved people, thought people would see him covered in monster goo and blood and still see an angel(keep in mind he's 10 years old when he said that).

2. Sam thought it was because when Dean died, he'd become an angel and continue saving people.

On to castiel!

Like every other angel. he was a ailcorn.

But before castiel possessed his vessel. Jimmy was an earth pony, so both castiels wings and horn are spectral to anyone he deems trustworthy enough to see his wings/horns, but most of the time, he is seen as a earth pony.

His cutiemark is a blue heart with an angel blade pertruding out the top with blood dripping down the heart.

The blue heart represents his own heart, and the blade is making it bleed for humanity. The blue specks in the blood are his grace.

Last but not least, Jack!

He believes castiel, Sam, Kelly, and Dean are his parents, but he very obviously has favourites(Cas and Sam) so as a way to resemble his parents more when he got his cutiemark he manipulated it to have parts of all three(he never knew what Kelly's cutiemark was) of them.

So he got Sams book, Castiels knife, and Dean's wings.

The book represents Sam teaching him most of what he knew.

The black and white wings represent Dean keeping him him in the middle of both evil and good.

And the angel blade represents castiel teaching him about heaven and his angelic heritage.

But mixing their cutiemarks together didn't satisfy his urge to resemble his family, and soon he saw Sams horn light up with magic and broke off his own horn. he was still able to use magic as his horn, unlike most, not a conduit for his magic.

After seeing Jack's broken horn, Sam became absolutely devastated and quickly taught Jack that it wasn't a good idea to ever do that, but Jack never regretted it as it made him look more like Sam(this was probably before castiel got revived).

So I'm done with these four! Next will be John, Bobby, Crowley, and Rowena!

As I said earlier, I'm learning to draw pony's(and hair), so hopefully, at some point, I'll be able to draw them as pony's and not just their cutiemarks!

Do you really think a SPN revival would work without both Sam and Dean? (Asking non-aggressively. Tone is hard to convey in text.). We have seen every spin-off concept without them both fail so far.

I’m not saying a good story couldn’t be told with Dean II focus, but the magic behind SPN was always Jared and Jensen together. Otherwise, it’s just another found family, supernatural story (and there are a few). It was Sam and Dean’s unhinged codependency and J2’s chemistry that made the OG SPN so compelling.

Personally, at least, I don’t think I’d care about a story that didn’t have both brothers.

I wish Jared (and Jensen) wouldn’t hype a revival if there isn’t any real intention behind it. Surly people are showing up at cons without dangling the carrot, and if no revival happens they will dry up eventually. They already are. Yo an extent. Teasing a revival is not “what I want to hear” if it isn’t actually intended.

Ugh. I hate Hollywood BS. Even the nice actors, why say they care, are lying to you.

I should have clarified that the revival ideally be a mix of Dean II stories and Sam and Dean stories set between 15x19 and 15x20. Fans and Jared like to think there was 5 years between those two episodes and as long as J2 maintain their weights, they can pull it off.  With Jack remaking heaven and keeping the angels away from earth and Rowena keeping demons away from the Winchesters, the brothers’ hunts return to the more simple days of monster hunting.  My personal favorite fanfic idea is Sam’s adult hunter grandchildren (played by Colin Ford and Brock Kelly) time travel back to 2020 to search for a valuable artifact, only to run into Sam and Dean one month before 15x20.  The grandchildren of course cannot tell Sam and Dean who they really are as Sam and Dean help them find the artifact.  As the grandchildren spend more time with Sam and Dean, they come to really like Dean and want to warn him of his impending death.  But then they realized that if Dean lives, Sam won’t leave hunting, won’t meet their grandmother, and they will cease to exist.

This will be the length of limited series as there's no 20+ episodes anymore and instead release 10 episodes for couple of seasons.

Jared and Jensen know that WB is going to attempt a revival or spinoff sooner or later, might as well keep their names attached to it because you never know if the next WB executive may try to make their mark by saying Sam and Dean who? Jared in particular doesn't want the inevitable spinoff or reboot or revival to dilute the Supernatural brand. Think of George Takei's public complaints that every new Star Trek spinoff was diluting the OG brand.
