Zelda’s getting REAL TIRED of link THROWING HIMSELF IN FRONT OF HER like a MEAT SHIELD.

Anyways, for keen eyed viewers: yes that’s the sheikah slate. And yes a little strand of something DID tag along with the fleeing duo.

A few days ago I woke up bleary eyed, sat down at my computer, and spat this out.

Mostly just a bit of goofy sketching but here's magical boy (magical man?) submas

I'm not gonna flesh this out a whole bunch since there's not much I can really do with it, but some rough notes:

Both of them have two soul stones, one in the hat and one in the staff. In their base uniform, the staff's stone is on the back of their gloves, separating when activated

They're only able to activate their abilities when they're with each other. Though they can both separately fight and return to normal, they need each other to begin the reaction and use their powers. Should one of them go missing, the other will not be able to use their abilities

The stone can be removed from the staff, returning to the hand if it is. The purpose of doing this is to replace it with a pokeball, allowing the staff to channel the pokemon's moves along with its standard attacks (electricity for Emmet, fire for Ingo)

Ingo and Emmet can trade (or steal) clothes mid transformation, switching pieces or entire uniforms. Emmet will typically borrow Ingo's darker gloves and boots if he expects to get particularly violent in battle, while Ingo usually takes Emmet's white accessories since he finds them more classy than his full black uniform

They are able to float in their magical forms, mostly using the levitation to run loops around their opponents and pressure them from all sides

The only opponent is literally Team Plasma, this power is reserved solely for beating grunts, sages, or Ghetsis should they ever cross paths (technically the code is to defend the world from evil but for any other issue they'll either settle it normally or with pokemon battling)

I don't miss the clever websites all that much, though. Those were annoying to navigate through, especially when there were so many gifs that they froze my browser.

But the DVD menus will always be better than the Blu-Ray menus. Sure they're faster, but they're not as fun as they used to, they're not part of the experience. It's like streaming, everything is made to consume product much faster.

We should stop, sit down, and enjoy what we are watching.

Heck at this point I'm even missing anti-piracy warnings.

I don't do new year's resolutions. I never have. My reasons for never having done so are very personal, and aren't relevant. 

I have learned that the possibilities are too endless for me to try to outthink them all, and so all I can do it take life as it comes, armed with all the tools I have. Even if all I have on hand are a marshmallow and some fuzzy socks. 

I am, however, a big fan of learning about me. It's not always easy, and I don't always enjoy what I learn about myself, but I do think the process is really important to help me figure out what makes me tick. What made me want to stop ticking. What makes me want to keep ticking. 

I don't get those answers looking forward. I get them looking back. 

So, for a little while, every year, I allow myself to dwell. My own personal year in review.

I watch the movie recap of my year (I play me, btw) and cringe... or laugh... or cry... or cheer myself on... even though I know how it ends.

And then

I wipe it clean. 

Tracking apps are cleaned of history. Journals get archived. Brain house gets tidied and rooms that have been long sealed get aired out before being sealed again. 

I put the year away, and I step forward into the next one with a clean slate. My gift to myself. 

Do I sometimes - accidentally or purposefully - dip into the archives, or enter the sealed off areas? I do. I'm human. But I'm a human that has learned to give myself a fighting chance. 

So, I give myself the grace of making a very conscious choice to archive the stuff that doesn't seem like it's going to serve me well anymore. I don't delete it, because hey - I might be wrong. 

This year, I find myself bringing far more with me than I will be archiving. 

That hasn't happened in a very long time, and I am deeply, deeply grateful. 

So.

With a deep and shaky breath...

To that which I leave behind:

Thank you. I do not leave you behind in anger, or in disregard; I will not leave you behind without recognition. Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for the times you helped me survive. Thank you for being the things I needed you to be in order to bring me to now. I am so incredibly grateful. I peacefully, joyfully and intentionally set you down with love in my heart, and with respect and appreciation. I honour everything I leave behind. 

To all of you reading this that have played a part in my past year - be it a teeny tiny part, or a really fucking large part:

My wish for you is that the things you bring with you into the coming year outnumber the things you leave behind. My wish for you is that you step into the future with a lighter heart, a more peaceful soul, and a clean slate. 

To those of you with whom I share a friendship (you know who you are), know that I am cheering you on from my side of the country, continent or planet. 

And to you... who will find me on the other side of midnight...

Idk if i put this in one of my keegan headcanon posts but it did appear in my fic Just Us

The Ghosts' nickname for Keegan (in my headcanon) is Frosty, a remnant from when they'd assumed Keegan to be cold and dismissive, but instead he just didn't really know how to communicate when it came to him needing time alone. He'd disappear from socialising at a moment's notice, without warning, but it wasn't him being an asshole; he was just socially drained and didn't really know how explain that, sometimes, shit just gets too much and he needs to leave before it gets too too much. Better for him to just dip because no one really questions him for it, anyway

Dude just needs to collect himself before he starts hearing through time and space

Also, I HC that Keegan is always cold (as in, temperature wise), hence Frosty sticking around even more.

Yk realistically if the om bros were fucked up like demons should be, they wouldn't be that disturbed by bloodlust el's personality.

However, I think the terror and angst comes from the fact that they lived with him his whole life, and for the most part, he was very passive and calm and never immediately resorted to violence, so to see [what used to be] their human revel in bloodshed is.. unsettling.
