Another proxy made with just toys. The child allowed it even. Ragavan is one of those cards I wouldn't play myself because it's just too effective. But you have to admit a monkey pirate is great.

I've made another custom magic card for one of my decks. This time it's Gisa the Hellraiser for my mono black crime deck.

As always with these custom cards I was trying to emulate a specific style as a little drawing exercise and fun experiment. For her I was specifically trying to Ape the Zenless Zone Zero style of character concept art as I think all the art in that game is pretty slick and stylish. I think the end results are still pretty decent, but I also feel like this was maybe less successful than my other attempts at style mimicry with these cards. Like I think she looks good, but doesn't really scream ZZZ to me. I guess that just means I'll have to go harder on the next card I make.

Okay so I did googling about mtg decks for Locked Tomb but most I saw were a deck for a specific character.

But I found a good partner commander combo, that has mostly correct subtypes and whos mechanics represent the lyctor body-defending-itself-in-the-river thing pretty well I think:

Alright, trying again without a typo. Had this idea for a proxy and I didn't remember seeing one of them around, so rendered it quickly. A while since my last proxy

So Wizards of the Coast had a brief event last pride month where players could pair up any 2 commanders they liked regardless of if the had the Partner ability or not. (in the commander format, you normally only have 1 commander but you can have 2 if they both have the partner ability or say they partner with another specific card). And since my friends and I use proxies anyway we decided to build our own decks. I just finished a whole Xena Warrior Princess proxy deck with Xena and Gabrielle as the commanders. For Xena, I used Kassandra, Eagle Bearer because it was the obvious choice. For Gabrielle, Gylwain Casting Director seemed another good fit.

And since Kassandra gets you her signature weapon for free, I naturally had to make Xena's her chakram.

It only took 4 different decks, about 8 losses, milling my entire library (except for two cards) and returning every creature to the battlefield, but I did it. Princess Twilight Sparkle made everypony win.

Old Gnawbone

Me and my husband needed a Old Gnawbone and Klauth proxy so I decided to make my own. I love drawing dragon girls and this was so fun I wanted a punky look for her.

Finally got proper proxy tokens made for my pack rat and black rat tokens, and printed them all on some proper glossy paper so they're not grainy! Including a sparkly alternative for some, teehee :3 rat deck is definitely my favorite. All my little guys in my little guy army
