So instead I'll just say that I find it adorable that Myron decides to adopt Morgiana instantly.

And if we ever get season 3, I will riot if it doesn't have Morgiana meeting the Fanalis Corp. shush I know it's not in the main manga but they've incorporated them into the anime before

I love the headcanons of magi and i wanna request headcanons for Hakuei and Myron,separated,to find old burn scars in the body of her s/o and when asks her s/o said that her older brother made her the burns

Myron can't help but ask where her s/o got the burn scars from, she was thinking that it was most likely some form of battle but was not prepared for the answer. She would have been outraged that anyone had the audacity to that to her s/o, let alone their own older brother. If she ever catches their older brother in person, she promises she's going throw him through a wall for doing that to them. She's dead serious too. He will be catching those hands.

Hakuei doesn't ask the first time she spots the burns on her s/o. Waiting for the possibility that they would bring them up on their. She does when they are alone, find herself tracing her fingers along the old burns wondering where her s/o got them from. When they do share that information, she is furious to find out that their own brother is responsible. Demanding know why he would do such a thing to his own sibling. Regardless of their answer, she ensures that should their older brother ever attempt to come see them - he has to come through her first.

Way of the Magihusband

So a bit ago I watched "Way of the Househusband" and just thought how great to do a Magi fic as a Househusband AU. (Read a year ago, but @muus-brat and I have been discussing ganster aus and got me all fired up on this again!)

The legendary Flame Emperor suddenly disappeared after a big Kou turf war. One day Ka Kobun is going around town all miserable and spies him! Only to find he now is taking being domestic to the extreme!

Casting Kouen as Tastsu was easy with that intense intimidation he has but just a softie inside. I have been hung up on who to cast as Kouen's spouse though. So anyone have a preference, please help me decide!

Muu because MuuEn being domestic would be so wholesome

Yo, I'm still kinda processing how badly beaten Alibaba's got, like, this is the next chapter and he still hasn't picked himself up. God damn.

First of all, "the slave of the rukh" is such a fucked up wording. Like, you could've said literally anything else. And then the whole "using slaves is my power", yeah, no shit, you have no actual skill other than being a sadistic piece of shit.

Yes, I'm going to overfocus on Alibaba still not standing up, like, bro. Actually, how big part of Magi is Alibaba just getting his shit wrecked.

GET WRECKED, lmao. And F for Morgiana. Tho also this is why any "King Vessel Morgiana" AUs just don't work for me - she's literally stated to not have enough magoi to handle having a djinn. MUU barely has enough magoi, and he still can use the full-body djinn equip for several minutes max, and he's not a full-blood Fanalis. So, basically, unless the topic of her not having much magoi is addressed somehow, I'm like

with these AUs, even though they do sound cool. Though, to be fair, I also think her personality doesn't really fit a King Vessel. Ngl, tho, I wonder if that would've been the case if she hasn't spent most her life up until this point as a slave. How much of her personality is nature, and how much of it is her nurture? Tbh, I can kind of imagine her been a bit more like Myron, I guess. Who is, like, one of the two known Fanalis who DON'T have a history of being slaves. Shame the topic of Fanalis is so ignored later on.

On a different note, when it comes to Fanalis, I'm still kinda meh about them in the Final Arc. Like, they're kind of boring, ngl. I've always liked to headcanon them to be pretty conservative (like, give them SOMETHING), and maaaybe slighly look down on humans (they've certainly said something about Morgiana choosing to maintain her human form, instead of returning to her original one, tho I don't remember the specifics). And we know Fanalis are proud as fuck. I've always thought it'd be an interesting contrast with how the world before the Rift looks down on the Fanalis, while the Fanalis past the Great Rift look down on humans. It could've been an interesting topic to explore. Eh, guess I'm adding it to the "three four year timeskip" rewrite-esque fic outline that I have yet to start. Tbh, most of them already have titles, and quite a lot outlined, but this one still doesn't. Not gonna lie, tho, I might divide it a bit into several parts, cuz there'd be so much to cover.

OK, BUT AMON AND ALIBABA ARE LIKE "GRANDPA, AND THE KING VESSEL HE SAID HE DIDN'T WANT". Man, I could really use some Amon's perspective in Magi, as in, how exactly he went from "sigh, since there's nobody better" to "this is my grandson Alibaba, he's very cute, and a little bit pathetic at times, but he's very precious to me, he'd look so good in pigtails :)"

Doesn’t really say anything against you bragging though. If you want to keep talking her up (not that she needs it, everyone knows Mikasa is the best) then she won’t make you stop.

If you compliment her to her face then she'll pout a bit because it's making her flustered and it's obvious on her face.

Morgianna

Absolutely becomes flustered when she overhears you bragging about her. Can't help how happy it makes her feel.

Would thank you quietly for your kind words.

You didn't have to mention that she helped you (especially when her advice wasn't the best), but she still appreciates you so much.

I've always thought that the rukh place someone where they're supposed to be when leaving a dungeon. When leaving Amon, Aladdin is left where he could meet the Kouga and Hakuei; Alibaba is where the dungeon used to be so it will be "official" that he captured it and be there to help clear Jamil's mess (mainly ensuring his slaves are free).

And Morgiana is right outside. I can't help but think that its because she could have the opportunity to just run. No one else was around so she could leave without being recaptured. It wouldn't be safe to be a Fanalis out alone with broken shackles at her feet (which tbf she could have gotten off easily enough). I don't think anyone could blame her if she decided to take the out and escape safely. Jamil went into the dungeon with all his combat ready slaves (I imagine). Most would have assumed, besides Alibaba and Aladdin who were there, that being unaccounted for meant she ended up dead like the rest. Chances are low that people will be searching for the lost Fanalis slave girl.

She could have taken the opportunity to finish escaping and find Alibaba and Aladdin again after being more secure in her freedom. Morgiana doesn't because she is processing wtf went on in the dungeon and her priority after sorting out her thoughts was to find the two guys that went through that shit with her and see that they are alright. I don't want to discount how admirable that is. But if she was left more confused and scared and just- left? More power to you girl, get the fuck away from your hellhole.

I dunno. Something I've been thinking about. Back to the original point, I do believe that she wasn't in Qishan with Alibaba because more than anything the rukh let her off somewhere that best guaranteed her freedom.

If Magi Season 3 ever happens, I’d love some more opportunistic interactions between characters during the Summit. This one comic is so spot on with the Big Three’s characterization, it begs to be included in some form.

Here’s a bit of my Season 3 scripting inspired from said comic

SCENE:

After many drinks, Sin is passed out, mumbling about beautiful women, and Kouen is rambling on about his goatee. Myron/Koumei/Ja’far find the trio

Muu: *sweatdrop*��Hey, Myron, Could you get Lord Sinbad to his bed?

Myron: Yeah, yeah, whatever...

Ja’far: (thinking) Wait...Sin’s drunk… (out loud) Stop! Don’t let a female near that drunk man!

Sin makes passes at Myron, but she goes unladylike to defend herself against him

Muu: I think she’ll be fine, Sir Ja’far.

Ja’far: -_-+ I’m gonna kill him.

Muu: (to Ja’far and Koumei) Would you fellas care to share a drink with me?

Ja’far: I’d rather not. Nothing personal.

Koumei: It would not be wise for me to consume, however I do not mind keeping you company as you have your fill. Your tolerance seems to be high, whereas mine is low.

Muu: Haha. Well, I am part Fanalis. I’ve already had three times the amount as your brother.

Ja’far: In that case, I would appreciate it if you were more insistent on not drinking with King Sin next time. He is supposed to be on an alcohol abstinence right now.

Muu: My apologies, I tried my hardest.

Kouen: (mumbling to self) What does Hakuryuu mean that my fashion sense is like Hakuei’s cooking?! *slams table*

Koumei: Seems like I must offer my apologies, I should get my brother and king to bed.

Ja’far: Please, allow me. It’s the least I can do to make up for my king’s behavior, especially after he instigated all this.

Koumei: Why thank you *smiles with hand behind head* (eyes narrow thinking) This is perfect, now I can solidify our arrangement with Reim while my brother and king sees to weakening Sindria.

Ja’far: My pleasure *smiles as hoisting Kouen up with arm around his shoulder* (eyes narrow thinking) This is perfect, now I can gather intelligence without seeming suspicious.

Bonus:

In Kouen’s cabin, Ja’far lets Kouen down on his bed

Kouen: No one’s ever complimented my goatee. Tell me, do you like it? Be honest. I can take it.

Ja’far: Hmmm, well Sin did say how he liked how you could pull it off. Yes. I think it suits you.

Kouen: Is that so? Huh, didn’t think your king had such good taste. Perhaps...he isn’t so bad.
