I'm pretty open to letting people ship what they want. I mean yk it's their comfort ships of two (or more) charas they resonate with and putting those together helps the person find harmony in themselves.

That said, please don't be offended when I list my relatively short Notp list.

❌Aladdin x Kougyoku -- Aladdin triggers me and Kougyoku can do so much better, esp after the Manga is over.

❌Sinbad x Ja'far -- Having been a Ja'far in this kind of relationship is just a headache and I wish Ja'far would treat himself better. (short version)

Now that's out of the way, hopefully we can have fun with the endless list of ships!

✅Kouen x Ja'far -- OTP: EnJa! If these guys had more of a chance in canon to see how much they really have in common and the things they value the other has. What one may see as a flaw, the other admires. Acceptance! {Also, I sometimes use them as self projection of a happy-ace-couple. But other times...they're not ace XD}

✅Spartos x Kougyoku -- A crackship that cropped up in RP that just turned into the darndest thing. Spartos is the knight in shining armor (literally lol) that Kougyoku dreamed of.

✅Ugo x Yamuraiha -- Also cropped up in RP. These two are a flustered mess with each other!

✅Hinahoho x Rurumu -- Ideal couple that sadly got cut short 😭 (also love the fact that Rurumu is taller heehee)

✅Mahad x Parsine -- The cutest little thing. Seeing Mahad turn into a gentle giant.

✅Mystras x Pipirika -- I've got "Rewrite the Stars" from Greatest Showman lined up for them in my "Sindria the Musical"

✅Vittel x Irene -- One of those cute things that cropped up in one of my canon divergences X3c

✅Yunan x Yamuraiha -- Just imagine the magical knowledge they could share!

✅Sinbad x Serendine -- tbh, I did not like Serendine at first. Even if I do love spiders. But she grew on me after she joined the company. When she proposed marriage in Zepar's dungeon is when I considered the ship 👀

✅Drakon x Serendine -- I loved how he'd get flustered around her.

✅Muu x Serendine -- Accidently happened in one of my aus and the thought is just hawt 🥵

✅Drakon x Saher -- I stan this canon couple! (any other ships involving them are what AUs are for, yes I enjoy both realities)

✅Spartos x Koumei -- Wholesome Happy-ace-couple-ness 💞 Mah redhead bois~

✅Kouen x Yamuraiha -- Let them nerd out together 😆

✅Koumei x Yamuraiha -- I'm working on this one. They both lead magical research facilities that merge postcanon

✅Muu x Kouen -- Well you know there was that "good friends" comment during the summit despite Reim being allied with the Seven Seas X3c

✅Myron x Pipirika -- Hear me out, Power couple of a Fanalis and Imuchakk together! (suppose I have a one-shot of widower Hinahoho and Razoul for that too)

Summary: A boring meeting, some inattention and suddenly new feelings to discover Pairing: Kouen X Muu Rating: General Audience

a/n: Just a little something to go along with @gildednwi ‘s HC’s for these two dorks. It didn’t capture the original prompt as much as I hoped it would, but it still turned out the way I wanted it to, so I am going ahead and post it, just because. I hope you enjoy, friend!

It was unnerving.

There was no way he could pinpoint his feelings. The meeting he was sitting in was annoying, Kouen could barely listen to the minister giving his speech about laws and regulations. His eyes darted back and forth from the door, wishing he could leave, to the seats on the other side of the tables. Representatives of Reim were seated properly, though at least one of the old men was already dozing off. It were always the same faces until their deaths and in all honesty, it bored Kouen to see them so often.

Just his face didn’t get boring. These specific features, listening intently to the words of the minister of Kou, occasionally nodding. Muu had the habit of sometimes humming in agreement or if he liked the idea that was proposed. A melodic sound, pleasant and honest. At least to Kouen it was.

Kouen’s concentration hit the bare minimum, a sigh escaped his lips as he repositioned himself properly in his seat. How long the meeting was going to last was still a mystery. Did he have anything better to do? It wouldn’t be hard to ditch his time here for some sparring or researches - if he wanted, that was. But would it be rude for him to leave? Would the others mind if the prince left? There was still Koumei to attend, and Kouen nudged him under the table with his foot, making sure his younger brother wasn’t going to drift of into sleep either. For a second, Kouen asked himself what Muu would do, but one look at the Reim diplomat was enough to figure out that he wouldn’t be very fond of Kouen leaving.

No matter how tall, tough and strong Muu was, in the end, he was a goody-two-shoes. Always talking about providing well for Reim but trying to keep things diplomatic while doing so. Kouen couldn’t count the amounts of meetings and visits both Muu and Kouen did to the respectively other’s country alone in that very year. Kouen would receive countless invitations to festivities and further talks over in the sunny, booming cities of Reim.

And vice versa, it seemed like Muu stayed more nights at the endless rooms of Kou’s Imperial Palace than in his own home. Not that Kouen minded it too much, at least one smiling face in between the stern heads of the Empire. In fact, a brilliant smile even, seemingly taking everyone in and lifting moods easily. Was it envy Kouen felt over the other male’s positive aura? It wasn’t like he could say the same about himself, Kouen being more avoided than talked to willingly.

Maybe it really was a hint of envy, but even though he didn’t like to admit it, also part admiration. Kouen had only ever done what he had been expected to and as such could never gain the favor of the people around him. He had become what the people - the country - needed, but still, his popularity was limited to maybe the few profit-gaining people under the regiment of the Kou-Family.

And yet, he couldn’t begrudge his fellow statesman. While Muu surely had problems of his own to deal with, his raising was just different, not necessarily trimming him down to a hard shell, but instead to someone who had open arms for every issue and willing to compromise and work things over. All things, Kouen couldn’t do even if he wanted to, it was just that kind of difference between them.

His fingers kept tapping the surface of the table before him, a rhythmic but probably annoying gesture for everyone around him. Kouen’s glare was irritated, while he was deep in thought, eyes fixated on Muu, who slowly but surely began to feel a little nervous himself. Even though they had a rather friendly relationship with each other, it was still a little unnerving to be stared at like this.

So, deciding to speak up instead of enduring his ‘friend’s’ mood, Muu cleared his throat, turning towards Kouen. “What’s your opinion on this?” he asked friendly, meeting his eyes in return. There was a moment of silence around the table, when for a second, Muu thought to see a hint of surprise flash over Kouen’s expression, features softening for a short turn of time before the sternness of his expression returned. “Agreed,” Kouen grumbled softly after exchanging a quick look with his younger brother.

Muu found that rather amusing.

Had he just caught the prince in a moment of inattention? Muu couldn’t help but chuckle lightly, making a mental note to eventually bring it up to Kouen in a more private setting. He could barely wait to hear the denial the prince would bring up to stand his ground. Any word of Kouen was gold, may it be something stupid as to deny the lack of attention in a meeting or him babbling on about historical events.

Admittedly, Muu liked him better when he was less tense like he usually showed up at these talks. But he understood and respected his actions, even though, not always agreed with them. It was just the way Kouen was and in that, he was quite astonishing. A fierce warrior and strong support pillar to his country, Muu had so many words of admiration. But he never spoke them out loud, that would have been disgraceful after all.

Muu couldn’t help but sigh inwardly at the thoughts of all the warm evenings the two had shared, talking about sometimes serious, sometimes silly topics over some glasses of wine. Against anyone’s expectations, the prince was a rather pleasant person to be around, if not exactly faced on the battlefield or when there was a formality to be upheld. Muu truly enjoyed their talks and his time with Kouen, even if it was nothing to admit to anyone else.

The groans of all the old men getting up from their seats was what finally wrapped the meeting up. It surely had taken longer than what Kouen had wished for, but after getting busted by Muu, it had at least been shaped by some talks between the two which were ultimately better than just having to listen.

The thought of Muu grinning like an idiot at him after having seen through his inattentiveness still brought a scowl to Kouen’s face. By now, he could very well difference between an honest, nice smile and the one with the slightly narrowed eyes Muu did when he obviously found himself in the right while tearing apart any faults that may arise. In the way he observed everything, he was kind of scary. As if he was always on the prowl, but not like Kouen didn’t appreciate that on him.

Kouen was one of the first one to leave, his rank superior to most of the officials that were there. At least, he tried, but not without picking up one of Kou’s and one of Reim’s ministers having a pleasant conversation with each other. Normally, it wouldn’t have gotten more than a begrudgingly glare from him, but something in their words picked his interest. Especially since it seemed to concern the prince himself.

“Now, with all the meeting we are having, the relationship between the countries is really blossoming.”

“I very much agree. Maybe we should go a step further and root this relationship further with marriage.”

Kouen couldn’t help the flinch in his expression when he heard about the topic of marriage. It had never been one of his priorities and though it was eventually due for him to take a bride, he still didn’t care about it too much. No matter his position and the expectations on him, he had yet to imagine himself as not only a prince but husband, probably increasing all the public appearances. But without being appointed emperor yet, concubines had been as much as people expected him to maintain. Marriage was something completely different.

The scowl on his face reached death-glare stages as his mind drifted further into thoughts about it. He would have almost run over Muu, who respectfully waited at the door for the prince to pass first, if not for the beaming smile that awaited him. The two statesmen made a quiet agreement to leave together, hinting at the good relationship they were supposed to uphold. The conversation was quiet and between them, though if anything it would have been Koumei to hear, who tiredly trotted after them with a good few steps distance.

“Did Your Highness have an epiphany staring at me in the meeting or did I imagine something?” Muu asked teasingly, the smile still playing around his lips.

“I do not know what you mean. I always concentrate on the topic,” Kouen was quick to argue, straightening his walk a little to give his words more emphasis.

Muu didn’t withhold the chuckle falling from his lips, nodding lightly. “I was sure you’d say that,” he admitted. As long as no one listened, both of them were comfortable enough to let the formalities down enough to talk pleasantly, even though Muu sure liked to tease Kouen with it, underlining his position to play submissive. The prince didn’t so much mind that, finding it rather amusing that Muu had this tick in character, always giving Kouen a hard time to argue with him.

“Did you hear about the marriage they were talking about?” Kouen’s attention was immediately drawn, his head turning into Muu’s direction. For a second he tried to decipher his expression, finding a rather unusual look to graze Muu’s usual features. But Muu’s eyes were straight ahead, giving Kouen a hard time to figure out what was going on behind those shining irises. A little hesitant, he turned his head back from the sight, admitting slowly, “Yes, I heard.”

Muu’s voice was softer when he spoke up again after a few seconds of silence, gaze darting downwards to the ground. “If it ever comes to that, I’ll make sure she’s a fine representative of Reim. You don’t have to worry about it.” There was another period of silence between them, Kouen withholding a sigh that urgently wanted to leave his chest. “Thank you,” he eventually mumbled, and Muu only nodded in comprehension.

“Well,” he suddenly chimed, another beaming smile crossing his lips. “See you later then. Make sure not to stare people to death!” Snickering over his own comment, Muu picked up speed, his steps getting bigger than Kouen could match them, until the fanalis darted around the first corner on their way, being completely familiar with the palace's layout to not need someone escorting him back to his room, and out of everyone’s sight.

Had Kouen not been the man that he was, he would probably have looked after Muu in surprise, though instead he just continued on his way to the other meeting he was supposed to attend. It was an understatement that the conversation they just had bothered him, and yet, he remained his composure, though he felt a few stings in his chest from unknown origin. Kouen should have been rather satisfied with knowing he had an excellent negotiator in case he was going to marry someone from Reim, and yet, nothing bothered him more than the thought that Muu would play matchmaker.

It took him too long to realize what the feeling was that was stinging into his lungs and heart, even considering seeing a doctor if it were to continue. He blamed it on not trusting Muu enough to find a good match for him, maybe even blaming himself for putting trust into someone that very clearly was in his way when it came to Kouen’s aim in life. It would have taken him so much longer if not for the few drinks the two shared that night in private.

Kouen didn’t remember the last time someone was able to make him agree that he hadn’t been the best like he always was, but admitting it to Muu wasn’t as hard as he thought in the end. All the hard feelings he had thought about hours before were gone after a few drinks too and when they sat in silence, watching the night sky, Kouen let them pass through his mind again, while Muu hummed quietly into the night.

“It’s a shame we can’t always just sit together like this,” Muu remarked, taking another sip from the liquor.

It hit him like a fighter crashing into him, and for the first time, Kouen felt a new sort of panic rise in him, reminding him that following orders and rules was the sole purpose of his existence. The dread of having to be a prince and do what was expected from him felt surreal suddenly, but no matter how much he tried to suppress it, it was still right there, stinging in his chest like it did the very same hours before. He looked up and for a split second wondered if his face looked like he felt. Muu watched him curiously, sitting relaxed on the floor next to the table, his eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

He didn’t want to marry anyone.

And even if he cursed himself for the thoughts, not anyone that he didn’t choose by himself and not anyone that wasn’t Muu.

I’m CACKLING imagining sinbad in this situation hvjfbfjv

Kouen

Beyond prepared. Gets up right away and calls for midwives he had ordered to stay nearby for this exact moment.

Might seem composed, but is internally very worried. He has the utmost faith in you, but can’t help but work himself up a little bit over the thought of complications.

Stays right by your side during the entire process, holding your hand and trying to calm you during contractions. Beyond that, he doesn’t really know what to do. He’s not the reassuring type. Having him there is comforting though if you’re nervous at all.

Thrilled when the baby is born, boy or girl. If it’s a boy he’s going to be immensely proud- a future leader. Someone he can train and teach. A girl will have him wrapped around her tiny fingers on sight though. Spoiled rotten either way, but especially if they’re a daughter.

Muu

Also prepared, but not down to the same meticulous little detail like Kouen. A little more laid back. Probably bleary if you just woke him up, but is up and off like a rocket to get a doctor once he processes the baby is coming-

Shows his nerves a little more as well. Not enough to perturb you though- the last thing he wants to do, especially when you’re in labor.

Another one right by your side the entire time, though he’s actually reassuring on some level. He tells you he’s proud, you’re doing well, it’s almost over, counts down breathing exercises with you. Very nice to have around.

Quietly hopes for a girl. A daddy’s girl, to be specific. Boys are great too, but he’s very taken to the idea of having that cute little special bond.

Sinbad

Ready to fling himself off the balcony tbh. He never imagined himself in the position of a father before you told him of your pregnancy, and now that the moment has come he feels like the realization just crashed on him.

Probably gets kicked out of the room because he’s nervous and can’t sit still. It would probably be funny to watch him squirm if you weren’t experiencing contractions. He waits in the hall to hear the baby cry with Hinahoho and Ja’far, who reassure him as best they can.

When the baby is actually born he’s still not going to be immediately taken to fatherhood- it’ll take some bonding. Have him hold the baby a few times and give him some time to acclimate to being a dad and he’ll get into the swing of things. No matter what though he wouldn’t trade his child for the world.

Gender doesn’t matter at all. He won’t really be focusing enough on the future to consider the pros and cons of a boy versus a girl. He’s very much in the moment when the baby’s born.

This would DEFINITELY happen

Here are some of my other Magi x Saint Seiya headcanons:

-I can see Morgiana and Hyoga being close friends and even talk about their more stoic masters (Masrur and Camus)

-For some reason, Judar would actually like and get along with Shun, mainly because of how strong he is even though he would tease him a lot and call him sensitive

-Yamraiha and Camus would get along and talk about their more impulsive friends (or lovers 🤭) which are Sharrkan and Milo (just like what they did) they would also talk a lot about studies and books

-Kougyoku would probably get along with Saori, or some of the other female saints/Marines they would have a lot of girl talk together

-Kouen ren would be mildly suspicious of Julian Solo since he reminds him a lot of Sinbad

-Kouha would annoy tf out of Sorrento and purposely call his flute a recorder. Sorrento would probably also be flabbergasted by Kouha’s eccentric personality

-I also feel like, Titus and Aldebaran would be the best of friends

-Kouha and Misty would fight and argue over who’s more beautiful

-Hakuryuu and Saga would have a deep conversation with each other and sympathize with each other

-Muu Alexius and Aries Mu, it’s pretty self-explanatory how their meeting would go

-Hades would probably despise Sinbad and David

i’m sorry i have GOT to talk about that. it’s been eating me alive for months. be warned because they are the most baffling ships imaginable.

NO IT’S SO FUNNY BECAUSE the ships we have are yamraiha & hakuei, spartos & koumei, and then like... yes we have pisti with kougyoku but pisti, sharrkan, & kouha all have their fun little meetups and they cannot and will not be stopped

and the really fun thing about it is, for political reasons since this is all post series, we keep joking about the 8 generals meeting up like bimonthly to hang out because they love each other and they’re all playing truth or dare at their sleepover in sindria and NO ONE KNOWS. NOT ONE OF THEM KNOWS. UNTIL IT GETS SPILLED AT THE SINDRIAN SLEEPOVER. please imagine the UPROAR of finding out that they all have secret little relationships with the ren family ALSO SPARTOS IS ONE OF THEM

sharrkan and pisti are like damn dude we’ve been trying to get you laid for years, we’ve both offered like 5000 times, you’re going for THAT guy??????

spartos and koumei are kind of like enemies to lovers except for political reasons they aren’t enemies and they aren’t lovers but they DO stare at each other across the big map where everyone is discussing borders and it DOES make people wonder if they should leave the room, even if they aren’t sure why. also no one has any idea whatsoever until you swear you catch the tiniest glimpse of SOMETHING on koumei’s collar and. my god. no i think they have a very intricate relationship but it is so extremely secret. that’s just how both of them are. pda is not real.

meanwhile sharrkan and kouha are like “wow cool sword. let’s spar.” and sharrkan is like. 75% sure he should be holding back until kouha wipes the floor with him and that’s how sharrkan got the biggest and most confused boner of his life

the cool thing about hakuei and yam is that yam finally has someone who will listen to her incessant rambling about her magical work and love every second of it.

tbh i think pisti and kougyoku just want to cause a little trouble. and why shouldn’t they. but like kougyoku did with alibaba, they have some very interesting things in common, namely being the youngest in the family and suddenly thrust into a position of power that never should have been theirs.

back on track they’re spinning their silly little bottle and it slowly comes to light over the course of the night that they’ve been had or whatever but everyone’s happy so it works out the end

and in case anyone was wondering, my #1 for the rens not listed is kouen x muu & hakuryuu x judar. sorry i’m boring idc

Out of all 3 siblings, Kouen, Koumei, and Kouha, who takes the longest in the bathroom and why? And who takes the least amount of time?

Kouha spends the most time in the bathroom. Hands down. His hair needs to be perfectly well kept, and he cares about his appearance and hygiene more than most people. It takes a lot of effort to keep his skin this smooth!

Kouen would probably take the least amount of time, most likely rushing through his routine every morning in an attempt to get to his work right away. He is very regimented in that sense!

Koumei is in the middle, not spending a whole lot of time on getting ready, but just enjoying the quiet peace of being by himself as long as he can. He doesn't want the day to start. He's tired, let him live.

How would Myron react if a s/o were to confess?

"As intense as Myron is, if her feelings with her s/o were mutual and they confessed, her scary and brutal side would completely melt away. She would most likely pick them up in a hug and spin them around out of such a wave of joy, hopefully not crushing them in the process! Yes she's sassy and monstrous, but she has a soft side~"

Considering the fact they used to get along... How would Yunan have reacted to a drunken Sinbad?

"Yunan would probably feel a bit awkward, considering he's so reserved, and Sin only seems to get even more outgoing when intoxicated! We know Sin also tends to get into some ridiculous situations, and Yun would probably quietly offer some advice or try to help, only for it not to be heard as he decides to simply watch over Sin carefully instead. He's too shy to put himself out there, especially when Sinbad is always the center of attention or life of the party!

Though, there's really no saving him."

What does Kouha's morning routine look like?

"He wakes up early, when the sun rises. He is a morning person and he gets out of bed easily. He takes a shower during the evening, so he simply washes his face, puts on his clothes and brushes his hair with care before leaving his room. Afterwards, he exercises lightly for a bit. Once he's satisfied he goes to eat breakfast to start the morning with energy! However, if he's frustrated for something but can't show it, he lets it all out during the morning training and brushes his hair again before going to eat."

Since we're getting into the colder weather, could I get some wholesome Ja'far x S/O canons where his s/o is just getting home after a long day and they're absolutely freezing? He/she/they pronouns work just fine, doesn't matter which ones!

"Ja'far would come with an army of blankets and transform his so to a giant human burrito, before he drag them over to a comfortable place (either a bed or a couch ) - like the overprotective potato he is. After that he would go and prepare tea, just to realise that his s/o can't even drink kt because he covered their arms in the blankets as well. He would probably try to hold the cup for his s/o - but they would just ask him to free them again from their little prison. Ja'far would do then that favor, sitting next to them and wait until they cuddle up to him. (But not without laying at least one blanket around their shoulder!) "

"Long story short - one drink, knock out. I'm sorry but I don't think he would be able to handle much more. And, if he wouldnt just fall asleep instantly, he would sit in a corner, laughing and be happy about food."

If judar were to find out his childhood friend likes him how would he react?

"He would probably just smirk and say they are stupid and he would never like them because he thinks its a joke. But once he saw their reaction he would realise that is was none. And since he doesnt know how to fix things he messed up, he would just bring them a lot of peacheds ( a lot = flood their room). Thats actually so stupud that it works because Judar trying to apologize but failing is quite cute to watch, so his friend would forgive him. After that Judar would tell them he doesn't know, if he had any feelings because he never cared about love, and thats just honest. But he would probanly offer to try to be in a relstionship, because why not? "

If muu were to find out a student of his liked him how would he responded/react if he secretly likes said student back

"On the first sight, nothing would change about Muus behaviour. He would still act friendly and supportive towards the student. But everyone who is a bit closer too Muu would notice, that he would be a bit more nervous around that student. He probably would be bei worried about saying something wrong and whenever an awkwards situation comes up, he would just laugh to cover the fact he would prefer to dissapear at that moment."

How would kouen, kouha and koumei treat a girl that they've know since birth when someone makes said girl sad

"Koumei would try to make her feel better with logic; he's not the best at comforting, but he can help his friend make sense of things and clear her head which makes her feel more grounded!"

"Kouha is more considerate and knows how to read emotions- he would do his best to make her feel better, offer lots of hugs, and then probably sneak away to mess with whoever made her sad depending on severity, cause as much as he's not showing it, he is f u m i n g. He would make their life miserable if they really hurt his friend."

"Kouen would just sorta malfunction cause he's SERIOUSLY A BIT OF A DORK- he just pats her hair and sighs due to the frustration at not knowing how to handle this, but it's a cute charm of his somehow- it's very reassuring that his friend has people who care so much \o/"

If masrur discovered a cat and soon found out that the cat was a neko how would he react?

"Masrur would not know what to do if he found a cat that transformed into a Neko. Seriously, he would just... Stare blankly while he processes, and after just confirm it in his head as some weird animalistic magic- he wouldn't judge them however! I'm sure if they were lost of confused, he wouldn't hesitate to help them ^^ "

"Judar would either follow them in silence, sneaking around and checking what exactly they do or he would bump just bump in the conversation like 'hello here I am' and just tell his s/o they should spend time with him insteas because 'these loosers are boring anyway' (this may or may not end up in a fight with the friends)"

Hi, I would like to request a hc for Armakan in love with his childhood friend but their love is forbidden. According to Heliohapt tradition, they’re not permitted to marry outsiders. She traveled around with Sin and lives in Sindria but comes to visit Armakan often because s/o loves him too. Thank!

"Arrmakan always enjoyed the presence of his childhood friend and loved it, to spend time with them. Especially because they rarely had moments when the two of them were actually alone. But the ones they had, always brightened up his day. The feelings he had for his childhood friend were there for a longer while, but he never told them anything and took good care, he wouldn't show it either. And that pained him. Everytime when he and his secret love were seperated again. Especially he couldn't talk to anyone about it. Who knows, if the elders would take his friend away from him? He couldn't risk that.

The day when they left was painful. He didn't only loose his little brother, but the person he had feelings for as well. He knew that they were in good hands, traveling with sinbad but still, they were gone. Arrmakan thought about, telling his friend what he actually felt for them but in the end, he decided not to do so. It was forbidden, is forbidden and always will be. And he didn't want his friend to worry about it.

But in the end, he probably regretted that, since he ended up worrying. What, if his friend would just pick another man?! The thought alone bothered him. Especially because he knew he couldn't do much about it.

So, the day when his friend came back to him was both, surprising and truly happy. He probably would tell them how much he missed them and durning that conversation, they would tell each other about their feelings. Arrmakan would probably take his friend as a partner after that."
