so in mag136, the statement giver comments that legorio didn't have parkinson's disease, and i understand that it's supposed to add to the spookieness, him not being able to move of his own will, spider fear mother puppets i get it

BUT fun fact! you can actually develop parkinson's diease without dementia. bc we call that parkinson's disease dementia. parkinson's is a loss of dopamine in the brain, and dementia only comes about if the proteins killing your dopamine receptiors move to other areas of your brain. but they don't always do that. (it's more complicated than that ofc, but so is everything we know about science)

so spookiness aside, legorio may well have developed parkinson's disease without the dementia

Jon not being able to stop recording the web's statement and having to have Martin literally slap him out of it reminded me of the statement giver in mag136 The Puppeteer-
