okAY HI HELLO I HAVE SOME STUFF TO SHOW BEFORE THE MUMSCARIAN WEEK AND THAT IT THE FACT THAT I AM GOING BONKERS OVER @rockcattomato FANFIC “SORRY I HAVE A BOYFRIEND”(also Mumscarian btw, huge thanks to one of my friends for recommending it, reading is not my usual method of consuming fan content lol)

Yeah so the sketches were made like a day before ch7, I read 1-6 in one day, it absolutely destroyed me BUT THEN I WAKE UP AND SEE “6 AM - AO3 NEW CHAPTER” and then it destroyed me EVEN MORE. It was posted on my insta for a day, I reaaaally hesitated to post anything here, but here i fucking am lmao

Video is literally fresh baked, 3 hours down the procreate dreams(and csp for g’s close up). It is quite flashy and unprofessional, also it contains ear ringing, careful with headphones!! But basically I cried for hours that I don’t have enough skill to paint something from that scene without loosing how I imagined it felt for scar, and…well…I thought that basically we need just a bit of sound and movements, and yup! Here the meal is, chef!

Anyways yeah I am going a little crazy over this work, especially while working on Mumscarian week artworks, thank you A LOT for this fic, I can’t wait until the last chapter!!

I used light pen to make the cobwebs

There were a lot more things I wanted to add in the background but I had to make myself stop cause I knew I’d be stuck on the background for too long with the things I wanted to add so I cut out many of the relics and extra stuff that would’ve been covered either way!

I eyeballed all my references when drawing the items btw I got photo scanner eyes I tell’s ya!

I then moved the two cover layers from procreate to procreate dreams and made the blend mode exclusion

Giving gengar the canon smile mixed with oni teeth and Cheshire smiles dies something to my brain that brings a lotta joy to it

@agramuglia I hope you’re enjoying the process journey of this XD but in all seriousness I genuinely hope the steps and process of this kind of stuff has been very interesting and exciting for ya as it is to me sharing my shtuff to everyone here! ^^

Not gonna lie here, but something kinda died inside of me, when i saw that Nathan is pretty much allergic to children(cause i adore them irl), but it made me wonder about two things.

Oh and i can completely understand why certain ROs are just not made to have childeren.

1: I was wondering why can't angels get children, considering that irl there are beeings like nephilim/cambions described in Myths, Tales, Books etc.. Does that mean that in this universe there are no halfbreeds(not meant in a derogatory way), between different species?

2: Following up with the ask about kids, how would the ROs react(those who actually can get children in a biological way), to accidently becoming a parent? Answer only if comfortable

I have to say that maybe I worded it wrong but Nathan isn't allergic to children, dw anon!! He has always had very important things on his plate and it has never left him any time to think about anything else. It's kinda sad but Nathan only began to truly live his life the moment he started to Fall.

When it comes to children, if his partner asked he'd be like "Oh, that's right, those exist" and just *shrug*. Nathan has never given having kids any thought but he could be convinced ^^

He is very much allergic to being responsible tho... But who knows? People evolve, they can change. They can meet good influences, bad influences. Really, who knows?

1. Okay, td lore! I'm trying not to mention much and I'm crossing my fingers not to get asked about my worldbuilding because I cave to pressure too easily and will definitely gush lol. Tbh I thought it'd be much more fun for people to realize this as they play, finding out things alongside MC and all that. But maybe some explanations are in order 🕴️

To clarify: Christian/Catholic/Judaism/etc lore is, of course, the foundation of my own, but don't expect me to follow the Bible to a t 🫂 I always meant for The Deal to be a reimagining of religion as we know it, but I've included many more layers in terms of... everything (ex. Lovecraftian lore)! I think it's pretty interesting to take the core of a topic and rewrite some of it to make it more exciting.

Needless to say, I don't mean any disrespect towards religion in any way shape or form but sticking to it blindly has always rubbed me the wrong way as a person who isn't and has never been religious.

Now, the answer to your question (sorry for the rant 😭💕) ik about Nephilim and cambions (as someone who's read superstition a billion times), and Nephilim aren't a thing here. Cambions are tho!

When it comes to Angels... Think of them as one of those automated machines in factories. They fulfill their function and are scraped or thrown away when broke beyond repair. That's kind of how the Gods see Angels.

I've promised myself to say nothing about Genies until MC at least meets Aliyah. But let's just say she can't procreate either.

2. As for the accidental parent scenario I'll leave it below the cut (dw btw I'd say it's pretty hard to make me uncomfortable lol I'll answer anything)

Dante, Lilith, Josh, Victor, and Eden can have biological children! Villanelle is technically on that list but she's very much sex repulsed and won't ever be in this situation🫂

Though Dante isn't stoked at the thought of children this kind of changes when he thinks of that kid as his. He's not that taken aback by surprises—even if they're major ones like having a child—Dante likes taking challenges with a smile. If he feels like it's his choice and his partner isn't forcing the idea of parenthood on him, Dante would accept his role with a very positive outlook ^^

Doesn't mean he'll be a good dad tho lol

Lilith feels deeply troubled by her nature and thinks that it'd be best not to create any more beings of hell. She has ingrained a very cataclysmic point of view about any potential children she might have. To Lilith, motherhood is a dream. But not like that.

She'd be such a good mom tho💕

Josh feels like he's been punched in the gut lol he can't handle unexpected turns of events. If it's something his partner is excited about Josh would try not to bring the mood down, he'd want to see it as a positive thing. Definitely would read parenthood blogs for hours during the entire pregnancy.

Victor would be so excited I think he'd forget about any complicated situations and all his problems as soon as his partner told him. It's always been one of Victor's deepest and most profound dreams, and to have his partner fulfill it— he would never dare to even consider it an accident. Much like Josh he'd be the World's most prepared Upcoming Dad™ lol

Eden doesn't typically panic but he would lose his mind lol. I said he kind of leaned towards preferring not to have children but for the entire situation to be forced on him like that would be overwhelming. If the situations are right, if Eden feels like he has the specific kind of support he would need to parent a child... He might change his mind and not be so negative about it ^^

Hey does anyone know how to change the resampling in procreate gifs?

I made an animation with a low quality canvas because I like it but I think it’s exporting as billinear when I want nearest neighbour

I like the low quality pixel-y look but I hate the exported version and I don’t like having to screen record and edit the recording (it makes animations under a second long impossible to save without looping), I just want to export it as a gif

After!Dreamtale

Basically Aftertale but Dreamtale.

(I tried a new artstyle and coloring style for these bois :D) Info about After!Dreamtale: -Nightmare eating the apples corrupted their world, not Nightmare. Therefore everything was reduced to a void of black, except a patch of grass where the tree, but with no magic anymore, sat.

-Dream blamed himself for everything as he was the only one who remained, and then basically just drowned in an ocean of guilt.

-Dream cut the tree down out of anger after his world disappeared.

-Accidentally/Intentionally, a syringe of DT rolled from another world to After!Dreamtale.

-With no chance of hope left, Dream injected himself with DT, to have determination as some humans did back in the village.

-DT was not that compatible with Dream's magic it melted part of Dream's skeleton body.

-Dream managed to save his world by resetting, but at the cost of him losing his magic, and slowly dying.

-Nightmare remembers the reset, Nightmare was fine being dead and wanted Dream to be selfish for once.

-Now Dream is slowly dying, and they can't unbalance the apples, the villagers still wanted Dream's help, they could do nothing anymore but accept their fate.

(Honestly, this is just pure chaos-)

"You injured me! I want to speak to your manager!" A Sans copy dramatically flopped to the ground, touching his fibula.

"I will sue you for telling false information! I only barely scratched you! I want to talk to YOUR manager!" Error flipped his nonexisting hair.

"I am his manager!" Ink came in with his giant paintbrush. "I will sue you for hurting this person!"

"You don't have any proof! You aren't a real manager! I will SUE yOu!" Error panickly looked at Ink.

Shocked gasps were heard.

"I am a real manager!" Ink presented a (fake) ID.

Error gasped. "That is fake! You're not fit for a manager!" Error stomped.

Too late. More angry Karen Sanses emerged and began to attack Karen Error with complaints.

"Unfair! Unfair!" Error stomped his feet.

He went to his antivoid.

"Unfair! Everything is unfair!" Error stomped his feet in humiliation.

"You better destroy or I'll sue you for destruction of private property!" One of the voices shouted.

"That doesn't make sense at all! I hate this job! I want to speak to your manager!" Error yelled back.

Karen Nightmare came in, gasping.

"Your place is so messy and you are injured! I want to speak to your manager!" Nightmare shouted.

Inky black tears dyed the white snow as sobbing was heard.

Ink lost his best friend.

The one thing that is irreplaceable.

He couldn’t save them in time.

“Ink, come on. It’s just a brush.” Dream dragged Ink, annoyed at how dramatic Ink was.

They were all tired from the fight, they need to go back to their base.

But the truth was, Broomie wasn’t just a brush.

Ink was bored and lonely. All he could do is wait in his little void, that he now named' Doodlesphere’ and wait for the creators.

Sure, he could travel using paint, but he has no normal paint anymore and he wouldn’t spend his vials on useless stuff.

“Ink! We know you’re bored so we made something for you!” A voice spoke up.

“You did!? Thank you! What is it?” Ink spoke up in curiosity.

“Ta-daaa!” Another voice spoke.

It was a brush. A 5 feet tall brush to be exact.

“Coool! What does it do?” Ink smiled, the creators just gave him a gift!

“For once, it has unlimited paint supply! Now you can travel anywhere you like!”

“Ooh!” Ink spoke as he tested the brush to draw a tree in the ground.

To his surprise, it came to life! Now there’s a whole tree on his doodlesphere-

“Yeaah- It can also bring stuff to life! It’s a one-of-a-kind type of brush, so be careful with it!”

“Thank you so so much!” Ink thanked the creators as he hugged his new brush, he decided to name it, Broomie.

A few months had passed and Ink was never lonely anymore. He had Broomie by his side always.

“Broomie! I brought pizza!” Ink announced as his brush just sat there in the corner, not doing anything, like what normal objects do.

But Ink likes to pretend otherwise.

“And no! I am not sharing this with you!” Ink spoke hugging the pizza box.

“..” Silence was heard as Ink waited for a response. Nothing as usual.

“Finee! Since you asked for it, I’ll give you some!” Ink giggled.

Back to the present time, Ink desperately tried to glue Broomie back together.

But no matter he tried, Broomie is broken, and cannot be fixed.

He lost his bestfriend and he’s not going to get them back.

I was very disappointed in the ink brushes included with Procreate, and was dreading the hours that I would have to spend to create suitable inking brushes, when I discovered your set. Not only did you save me untold hours, but the quality is almost certainly better than I would have achieved on my own. The combination of the Apple Pencil + Procreate + your brushes yields an amazingly natural drawing experience. I've used every drawing tablet ever made since the Koala Pad (1984) and this is the first time I don't feel like I'm losing something by not using pencil/pen and paper. ... I've been using Georg's brushes for my morning warm-up sketches all week. Tons of fun. I've also fell in LOVE with the Dupa pencil brush. Previously, I really liked the 6B included with Procreate, but I find the Dupa brush superior in every way. My guess is most people buy this pack for the ink brushes, and may have overlooked this gem. For the first time, I feel like I could throw away my black and white Prismacolor pencils and never look back! ... Savage Interactive needs to seriously consider working a deal with Georg to include these brushes. I love Procreate, but the base included ink brushes are not "inky" at all. ... Lest you think Georg's brushes are only for cartooning, here's a portrait commission I did this morning using only the upcoming "BRISTLY" brush.

Wizard of Zog: Thanks so much again for making such awesome brushes. I hope the folks at Procreate send you all kinds of free stuff because your brushes are what truly makes that app sing for me.

I've used nearly every art app out there, and between Georg's brushes for Procreate and Frenden's brushes for Manga Ex, I can work on my comics on my iPad Pro and my Surface Pro seamlessly. They're just brilliant tools - my favourites are the Penciler, the DUPA pencil, the Eisner, the Watterson, and the Underzo (both the texture brush and the lettering brush). Bos: Just tried the ELDER, and immediately bought the Megapack. Wonderful. I like how you inclined the shape of the brushes (a thing I had planned but not had the time to try) and played with pressure AND velocity together. I've redrawn a panel of mine to try, and love the Watterson, the Peyo and the Uderzo especially (but haven't had the time to ding into them all, yet). Very flowing, very natural, with and without the textures.

FranklinKendrick: I just purchased the mega pack as well and am blown away at how natural the brushes are. Haven't tried the pencil yet (I should have time later) but, now you really make me want to play around with it! I stayed up way too late doodling with some of the inks. These are so much better than the ones included by default in Procreate - and well worth the money. I originally got into Procreate because I wanted to do some detailed ink work and just never had the tools to do it digitally. Now, with my iPad Pro, I feel like I have the tablet I always dreamed of having ever since I learned that digital drawing was a possibility. Thank-you Georg vW! I am so excited to try drawing cartoons again with these brushes.

Doomsayer: Thanks mate - love the set / have been playing with it all morning while my Christmas presents gather dust :) I did a bunch of alterations to the G-pen and it is really solid / I made it so that it can get a very scratchy, scetchy feel - first 2 panels are my old brushes / 2nd two is the new ones. Love the tone brushes btw!

dark musings

Twilight at the Dark of the Moon Moving inward. Spiraling into deepest silence. Feel me here, oh my most darling. Here is the free-est flow, river of bliss. Bounty of years of grey resistance, incrementally awakened to swirling shades -- mystic purples, mad magentas, sky-eyed blues. There is ancient music, crescendos to peals. Layered millennial ears, creatures of seas to trees murmur through. Ripples of soundwaves, broker wisdom not yet condensed into words. Romances spun of clay and sand, woven into fashion’s fabrics. Hearty voices join, create regaled mythology. Star-shaped world story reverberates with chill and heat. Nascent strive for enriched clarity that must open ever more widely, a luminous spiral up, out, in, around. Come, brave as you imagine. In that brief eternal interval all of energy coalesces. Dark Magick In the still of the dark of the moon, after the revelry has passed, deep, deep into the frozen fields of dreamless sleep, we, walking, silently, along the riverbed, breathe in ancient ash of woodsmoke, breathe out long-growing tears to weave ghostly tentacles along our path, take each other's hand up to our heart to pray, to kiss, to whisper, thus casting an eternal spell. Brave New Age I have traveled beyond the waters, acrid, poisoned water, bound and bleeding daughters, wail of senseless slaughter, blinded by the rain. I have walked sands of endless hatred, crumbled stone as hate did, explaining "It was fated." relinquishing the blame. Dark of the night, quiet, unable to lie, I search for the truth of my age in unfathomed sky. Not Heaven, not Home to a rescuing I -- the Mystic's mystery. Hugely greater than a Creator of history. Stars, Galaxies without end Liminal Spaces Twilight, the wee hours, the dark of the moon, liminal spaces, places where magic dwells, crossroads, crises, cusps. There is static on the radio. A song my voice was singing, rhythm of sound takes flight to surround me, a comforter of down to ease my soul. I've been trying to define a taste, a sense of bittersweet and salt. I've been trying to find a trace a footprint in the desert, a sight, a scent, a memory. I've been trying to discern a trace of me, a piece to fit the puzzle, my contribution to the grand design. Seeking in shadows, the space between myth and matter, those places words cannot define. On those insubstantial plains of myst and awe, the stuff of dreams, threshold of wonder, creation is spawned. dark of the Moon, dark of the Sun liminality, intense opening of magical portals -- where do you see your being on the other side? Perhaps what I am finding so profound is indeed simple elementary knowledge to others here. That take on the human narrative is: our entire "reality" is an abstract construct based on what we perceive as the general social narrative into which we are born. Much as some religions refer to a "maya" an illusory story we blend our self-narrative from, or as visionaries, madfolk, psychonauts perceive a vaster reality beyond the veil, we all have the capacity to see through the story and recreate it in an image more suited to our individual pursuits and pleasure. In fact, religion (yoke) is a social construct to better control the flock by self-appointed shepherds who may have a greater picture than apprehended by the masses, or at least a greater instinct for the prerequisites of power over. Ultimately, the more profound power is not power over, but power within, the power to move beyond the socially accepted narrative and write one's own. This is the essence of Magic. We who are part of an ancient tradition of art are always taking up the helm, seeing what was and making our own comments based on our own experiences. However, as to the whining and wallowing, people throughout time have had serious issues to deal with, some similar to what we are going through now, some perhaps less relevant at this time. We had "the bomb" Vietnam, the draft, Agent Orange, CIA, Hoover's FBI, all manner of incredible social changes to acclimate to. You know, I've been marvelling during this just recent "Black History Month" that when I was a teen I was marching for civil rights so that my black friends could live in the kinds of neighborhoods that my white friends took for granted, could get real jobs, could not be lynched with impunity. My gay friends were jailed or worse, incarcerated in mental institutions and given shock treatments, even lobotomies, because they had a mental illness, not a different orientation. My woman friends (I included) were also kept off the job market, or given low-paid service work which included a heavy amount of sexual harassment that had to be endured. We were not allowed often to rent spaces because we didn't have a man, or have our own bank accounts, or heaven forbid we had children due to divorce or out-of-wedlock, we were pariahs and so were our kids. I could go on forever, but hopefully you get the point. We all have our crosses to bear, each individual and each generation. As artists it is our job to take it all in and use these adversities to make our art more relevant, more real, more true to who we are. And, btw, check out some of the earlier psychedelic movement art -- it's certainly not all sweetness and light! The so-called flower-power hippies were more a media artifact than the real thrust of what people were doing and believed. Sodomy, defined by celibate priests who I guess thought we were too good for sex, includes all sexual acts outside of the sacrament of marriage, other than the missionary position, and for any purpose other than procreation. Sodomy is condemned as serious sin in Christian theology of the middle ages and on to well into the 20th century, even into the 21st. Apparently God gave us these intense urges just to test us. I have been experiencing complicated thoughts about the meaning of art, its purpose culturally and personally. For the most part, I've not liked poetry, though often I have found poems that did deeply move me or give me a radically new perspective in a way that other writing forms rarely can equal. I had very recently been going through an internal conflict about writing style. People have criticized my writing for being too difficult to understand when I thought I was being crystal clear. I started working toward using simpler language, but that doesn't seem to be the cure. Now, I am leaning more toward the idea that my job is to express in my own way my own realizations, since that is what I can do that is original and meaningful, to me at least. You can never please or even necessarily communicate with all of the people all of the time. If I am true to my own vision, at least that will be out there for those who do wish to see it. It is important, though, I think, to be clear in the manifestation of that vision rather than obscurant, to give full attention and intention to every word. It cracks me up that the Republicans are touted as pro-free-market conservatives. Real conservatives are conservationists. They understand that there is no free ride from planet Earth, or anyone else. They believe in the creative entrepreneur who has a stake in finding useful and profitable solutions so the buying public will beat a path to that door. Real Republicans, however, seem to be about preserving the territory of sacred special interests. As was suggested on a conservative think tank panel broadcast on C-Span about other issues, probably the best way to come up with real world solutions is to offer a high cash prize to whoever comes up with the best ideas, or at least to offer low-interest financing to get such projects going. I drink them in, your words of lithe and light and falling into meaning. Hot, parched soul that I bring to party through the changing moods and captured essence enrapturing liquid emotion. Capturing brief moments dripping down my throat like song. Blowing through life, into a magical canyon Stygian rain ignites wandering visions Madness unbound by resplendent derision rocks into devastation of lullabies expressed through Lilithian eyes way past the limits of light and reason In a gentle corner, made of more glorious dreams love's candle burns warming celestial clay New worlds orgasmic in grace explore passion.
