Doug is literally the softest boy, the best boy. He gets bonus points because he married a lady who could accidentally crush him under her weight at any given point and he would be okay with it (maybe)

Sam on the other hand is one of the best dads in X-Men history, and that’s saying everything. They overdo his accent too much but there are also too many blonde dudes that speak so they gotta differentiate him I guess. I don’t like it but I would assume he was Captain America if there was no context. He gets bonus points because I’m going to a comic con as him in January (I will not be accepting any dares regarding Sam’s accent, unless they are completely ridiculous.)

I would love a classic scene of Eddie questioning if he’s straight or not, and Buck swooping in with a, “I wasn’t sure until Tommy kissed me, so maybe you just need a guy to kiss you.”

Of course, Eddie would look right at Buck and ask, “Do you know anyone offering?”

And Buck, thumb hooked in his belt, chest out, would walk up to Eddie and say, “I think I do.”

Only for Chimney to interrupt the moment and yell, “Alright! Pucker up, buttercup. They don’t call me Mr. April for nothing!”

How do you see the first year after Vlad x Danny wedding? (Let's consider, they have married when Danny was 20)

As addition, whom can Vlad invite for the wedding? I know it depends on is it the ghost or the human wedding but anyway.

Would their wedding be a secret? Or headlines would shout, "One of the richest men has married... on a guy!" ? (Alt. "Phantom and Mayor Masters' relationship is confirmed: THEY ARE GETTING MARRIED!")

🏆 Vlad is a showy guy when it comes to public opinion (e.g., bragging about his charitable works, anything that stokes his popularity), but he’s also extremely private about his personal life. For this reason, I think he’d keep his wedding to Danny secret and simple. Marriage license, officiator, small gathering of maybe five people, I do, I do, and done. Light refreshments, champagne and oysters, a small cake. Ceremony performed in his backyard or—perhaps more appropriately—Lambeau Field, home stadium of the Green Bay Packers. Maybe a few fireworks as a surprise. Nothing too wild. 

👻 Vlad doesn’t seem to have the best opinion of—or relationship with—the ghosts in the Ghost Zone, so I don’t see Skulker or the Vultures getting an invite, or a Ghost Zone wedding happening at all.

💍 Whether Jack or Maddie approve of this wedding is the big question. I honestly can’t see them ever in a million years approving of their former college friend marrying their only son—unless they were aware of both Vlad and Danny being half ghosts.

“Your son is never going to die,” Vlad tells them gently, maybe during the meeting where he asks for Jack and Maddie’s blessing to marry Danny. “Forever is a long path for Daniel to travel alone. But it doesn’t have to be. Not if you allow me to be with him. I have the means and the resources to see that he is always taken care of. I have a raft of investments locked in place that will ensure my fortune perpetuates for the next several hundred years. With me, Daniel will always have a roof over his head, a place to call home, and someone who loves him. Dearly. Until the end of the time. I mean that in the most literal sense.”

Jack and Maddie are stunned silent for several moments.

“What’s the point of asking us?” Jack finally mutters. “Once Maddie and I die, you can do whatever you want. We won’t be able to stop you.”

“It matters to Daniel. And I love him. That’s why I’m asking you.”

They still don’t like it, but facts are facts, and scientists appreciate that more than they do good intentions. Another thing they appreciate is truth, and Vlad’s soft words and earnest face have convinced them of his honesty.

Jack and Maddie share a tearful look, clasping each other’s hands, before turning to Vlad.

“Okay,” Maddie croaks. “Just—promise us he’ll stay in school.”

“At least an Associate’s degree,” Jack adds.

“Don’t turn him into a spoiled brat.”

“Trade school certificate, bare minimum.”

A baffled pause, then Vlad laughs. “You have my word. By the end of the century, Daniel will have more degrees than a thermometer.”

The Fentons release a pair of relieved sighs.

They can handle their son being an immortal entity, but not an uneducated one.

Danny de-aged but he retains his memories

Danny was in Gotham with his family, it was all normal and everything when a villain came out and started blasting from left to right, turning some people young or old.

Now, Danny would love to go and rescue but he can't cuz he never fought off a real human villain, Vlad and the GIW doesn't count, they've got ecto guns and one of them is a ghost, deeming them to be strong to Danny.

But this, this is a human, no ecto or anything of the matter to protect themself from a ghost. And when his father almost got hit, Danny rushed in to take the blast, not like he's gonna die again anyway.

Now Danny turns into a young ten year old boy.

After a while, the vigilantes came, news to Danny that the effects will wear off and that everyone should be fine.

Except, Danny is a halfa, not a human. So the effects didn't wear off and that got the parents worry a little so they tried to find the vigilantes by having the boo-merang find the signature of this one vigilante that they could FEEL like it was a ghost but also not ghost.

So now, the Fentons found the Batcave, well, no, they didn't cuz the boo-merang stopped working right after banging at a wall so now the Fentons are looking all over where the "ghost" could be at.

well, it's the challenge fic so you know what's the idea and more or less what's my plan for it 🤭 no promises I'll actually finish it bc I'm dreading the actual therapy scene, but it's a total au, going very literally with the prompt, they're just meeting on a dating app - I'm about to write their first meeting in person and got stuck there lmao

He’s not actually expecting any responses, so he’s honestly surprised when he gets an instant match with one of the women, Maddie. She’s also quick to message him, before he can even think of what to say first. Maddie: Are you serious about couples therapy or is that some weird line to get people to ask? Eddie: Either way it worked, right? ;) Eddie: Not sure how serious I was at first but it could be fun Eddie: I know it’s kind of insane Maddie: a little bit haha Maddie: so you wanna lie to a therapist? What if Danny's parents captured 'Phantom' and did horrible science experiments on him (including dissection), but 'Phantom' eventually had escaped... and the next day Danny (in both of his forms) became stoic, emotionless and is pretending that night never even happened... How would Vlad react to both Danny's Parents experimenting on him?... Would Vlad lose his love for Maddie and HATE Jack even more? 💔

If he truly cares about Danny—and I believe with my entire heart that he does, evidence by his actions in the show as well as his own dialogue—then yes, I think he'd fall out of love with Maddie very quickly and become even more hostile toward Jack. A traumatized Danny is a vulnerable Danny, easily swayed, and I can see Vlad approaching him yet again and making Danny that offer one last time:

"I could train you, teach you everything you know. Think about the things I could show you, the doors I could open for you. You, Daniel, and I—together, we could rule. And all you have to do is renounce your idiot parents."

After what his parents did to him, I can see Danny accepting Vlad's offer, running away from home, and living out the rest of his mortal days as Vlad's adoptive son—and the rest of his immortal life as the Prince of the Ghost Zone while Vlad sat on the throne as the new Ghost King.

On the other hand, if Vlad doesn't care about Danny and is an entirely evil, one-dimensional villain, he'd probably fall even more in love with Maddie for being so ruthless as to vivisect her own son, inadvertently or not. His feelings for Jack would probably not change at first, still thinking him an idiot and a bungler, but he'd be impressed with Maddie's cold, monomaniacal pursuit of truth and shower her with new spectral surgical instruments and ghost weapons and pharmaceuticals and fund a new state-of-the-art lab, basically giving her all the fuel she needs to make Danny's life hell on earth.

And Danny would have no way to escape. If he runs away to the Ghost Zone, Vlad would find him, or hire Skulker to find him, and drag him back. If Danny runs away in the human world, Vlad Masters, the billionaire philanthropist, would kindly donate his time, money and resources to help the Fentons find their "poor troubled son" again. Perhaps with enough good deeds, Vlad might finally succeed in insinuating himself into Jack and Maddie's marriage, and at long last he would have the woman of his dreams.

By that point the Fentons would be well under his control, eager followers of his rhetoric (especially Jack), and Danny wouldn't stand a chance in either realm. There'd be no way out for him.

Well. Maybe one way. But there'd be no coming back from that.
