I’m so, so sorry...

I’m so sorry that I’m not really posting anymore here... Real life has caught up on me - but it’s not a bad thing! Actually I’m having my first baby come september. A little girl! So yeah, my mind has been elsewhere and will be for quite a while. If I get the time, I’ll start posting here again. I’m still a huge fan of DT and I’ll sure teach my daughter to love him too ;-)

This I actually where I think some of the tension between previous incarnations of the Docotor comes from. This idea that they were the best at being the Doctor. (That, and obviously their ego.)

See, and I actually go the other way. Because while the Doctor is supremely confident in his abilities, he doesn’t actually like himself. So meeting himself is both a case of egos butting heads, but also running into someone you know really really well... and don’t like. And who knows all your buttons better than anyone else and knows how to annoy you. The “You’ve redecorated--I don’t like it,” line is a classic case of button pushing.

All of this exactly except that I could totally see Nine having this exact argument in his head. "Oh, I'd never put Rose in that type of danger. Oh, wait, I someday will. Fuck."

Hmmm, maybe? Except to me, the Doctor is very aware of all the times Rose has almost died because she was with him. So it would be more like, “I’d never...” and then a montage of every single time he’d put Rose in danger flashing through his mind before he could even finish the sentence.

okay, listen up - in the world of dw there have been a few writers that write the sort of plot bunnies that my mind but that I don't get to writing, and you're one of them. I was so happy when I discovered your work, bc I really liked the way that you changed things (looking at you, Doomsday) and also yoU WERE STILL POSTING. this was a big deal at the time, since I found you on ff.net and many great authors had stopped updating stories in 2009. if you start a story and never end up finishing it, that's perfectly fine and valid for whatever reason you have for not continuing. if anything, I'll daydream about possible outcomes (which could be called fanfic for fanfic, which I think is a pretty great accomplishment). you are such a wonderful writer and nobody would ever think otherwise. ❤️❤️

Yes. Ice cream. I finally got my favorite kind (Haagan-Dazs Mango Ice Cream) after a few months of going without (the stores closest to me don't carry it), and I wish you that kind of ice cream happiness on your half birthday. =P

I have really good gelato right now. (I mean... in the freezer. Not in my hands.) It’s chocolate so rich you only need a few bites to satisfy you. <3

I try not to assume but I fail sometimes! And when it happens to me I always prefer to be corrected so that's what I do when my readers assume otherwise as well. It's your story! So long as you're not rude, it's no harm, no foul imo

It’s not the people I know that I struggle with, it’s the people who I only talk to in comments and replies. There’s no relationship there, which just makes correction... awkward. And yet I do it, because like I said, otherwise it feels like I’m leading them on.

Luckily he's a very nice, kind and sweet human. He knows how to handle nervous fans. Myself included :-)

I’ll be seeing him in Washington, DC.  Thankfully, I have a friend there I can stay with and who is also going with me as a handler.  lol

The fact that he’s a nice human is one of the reasons I think I actually can meet him.  Every person I’ve seen mention meeting him has said he’s a pleasure to meet.  That he’s good at interacting with fans and all.  So... 

I’m also meeting Barrowman and I think that may or may not be too much for me. lol  We’ll see.  My friend (the handler) mentioned wanting to meet him so when tickets became available I got them for both.
