You know what? I don't understand anything anymore, but that's fine, because probably we have too little information to draw a conclusion what is happening. But what really gets me is that every time that GA is with PM, there's always some big mystery around them, and more question are asked every time we see them together. If they are indeed a couple then why is it not obvious? We should have got some proof by now if they've been dating since last year. Or is it just us not accepting the truth?

I think it’s probably a mix of both, but I also think not accepting everything we see as the truth, and looking for other and more logical and accurate explanations is healthier. I’m convinced we will end up being right, some time, soon, and we could be proud of that and of our resilience to not just accept the appearances and to look above them.

Okay, I’ll try to do a weekly summary for each episode...we will see how it goes. So let’s see what we have here: Press releases, reviews and of course the premiere of Season 11. It is one hella long list, so loots of stuff is under the cut🙈

The promo of the new season started with the news of David appearing at Jimmy Kimmel. (X) EW announced a special 25th-anniversary, Ultimate Guide to Every Season & Film, being released 5th January. ENews published a short interview with Gillian and David, from the set of The X-files and TV Guide Magazine published a new photo of Mulder and Scully #Shouldertouching! Next was announced that Gillian will be at the late late show with James Corden, 9th January and we got a picture of David jamming with the band when Brick wished everyone a happy new year! (X)  Chris Carter did a Reddit AMA, but this is something I don’t wanna talk about. He is a moron. *For all upcoming events, @justholdinghandsok has a calendar running with all the info!*

The night of My Struggle III was off to a good start, @gillianaofficial posting: Gangs all here! Tonight at 8/7c @FOXTV . 👽  Fox released a new promo just before the Premier, in which, we could see Dana Scully in bed, with bare shoulders...and as this is The X-Files fandom, for us it is an absolutely good reason to loos our minds!! So yeah, we were in a happy place😂😂 But  Chris Carter was true to himself, did give us a critically claimed bad episode with a twist that was disgusting and controversial at the very least. The fandom exploded, the media was loud, but we did get one thing that was promised to us.; a lot of MSR scenes and Willaim discussions with Gillian and David more at ease. Hi funtasteec. Thank you for answering my previous ask. In light of the evidence that I discovered online (sheesh, pretty tasteless and trashy), I think the best way to process the new developments is this: Romantic Gillovny is a nice idea but it is not going to happen. I think the HuffPo interview perfectly embodied the totality of Gillovny. I think PM is basically GA's idea of settling. Yes, I know it's an odd thing to say for a successful man such as PM, but I do think she is settling.

It’s not weird to say, she wants to fit in somewhere, where she thinks she belongs. We can do nothing about it.

JHH just so you know it looks like that two part question came from a blog called nolongerjustaudience. That blog is the same as mulderdanathisissxf. They say exactly the same thing and the second one was created today. You can see that earlier today nolongerjustaudience was commenting the same thing she wrote in her ask over on Funtasteec's blog. She also did the same with youokay-mulder last week and others. She shows up in notes and says the same thing to anyone who believed/es in Gillovny.

Thank you for telling me, anon. I don’t know if they’re the same person, but this second blog you mentioned is blocked now. Thanks to you, I saw their reblog on my post that was way over what I find acceptable, so they’re blocked. Trolls will always be troll here, sadly... But it’s always funny that these trolls always accuse regular bloggers and especially shippers to have no life or empty life  or whatever, while they’re literally creating fake accounts to spend their day going from blogs to blogs just to spread hatred. I will never get it...

This week was off to a phenomenal start when we learned that: ‘Following the explosive events of 2016’s stunning finale, Chris Carter, David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson, and Mitch Pileggi will delight fans when they premiere an exclusive first look of the new 10-episode event series coming January 2018 to FOX! The Xfiles, Main Stage, NYCC, Sunday 8th October, 1-2pm

We all want Paley Guy, Keith Uhlich to moderate this panel, but he has not yet been approached! Thank you @alienbaby-babymama for the information!

Gillian confirmed the news, they will be at the NYCC!

aren't you even angry?

Hi anon yes I am angry…but not for the reasons you probably think.  I am angry that there is a section of this fandom who is intent on making other people feel as miserable and belittled and inadequate as possible.

I am angry that people I call friends are now being called out with hateful messages in their inboxes just because they happen to have differing views/hopes/scenarios on certain subjects.

I am angry that good people are being made to feel like they are bad.

I am angry that people feel it’s okay to tag Gillian on posts telling her what a horrible person she is.

I am angry that  the Gillian/David ship - a ship that has existed for DECADES - is suddenly the work of the devil and is something to be ashamed of.

I am angry that many assumptions are being made about what Gillovny actually means to people and that everyone is being portrayed as obsessive snoggers with no lives.

I am angry that there is absolutely nothing I can do to change those perceptions.

Am I angry that GA chooses to date PM? (Because that’s why you asked, right?)  Nope.  That particular titbit affects my life not one iota.  Everything else though does.

To see great bloggers and decent people - @xfile-cabinetx  @justholdinghandsok @becksndot5 @funtasteec @megsandroses to name just a few, feeling the need to defend their actions makes me incredibly sad and to see others struggling to make sense of what exactly their place is within the fandom now also makes me sad.

I never intended to make my blog a Gillovny blog but over time it just naturally happened as I have shipped them since XF time began and I can honestly say that I have never met a finer, funnier, more passionate, invested and supportive group of people in all my years in the fandom.  And my anger at what is happening here on tumblr will fade because I know with absolute certainty that nothing will change with regards to those people because we are a fandom family and no amount of crappy anon fucktard hate will ever destroy that.
