My Necronomicon Pendant Necklace
The Necronomicon book as featured in the works of H.P. Lovecraft - said to have originally been written by Abdul Anzared, the "Mad Arab", in approximately 738 AD and to contain accounts of the Old Ones, their history and the means by which to summon them.
This Necronomicon design features hand carved reliefs containing ancient symbols to bind, contain and capture the dark secrets held with in the book. The reliefs on the long sides of the book are abstract depictions of Cthulhu and Yog-Sothoth. The corner caps of the book are engraved with the Elder Sign, which is said to hold the Old Ones and their servants at bay. The Necronomicon pendant is hinged so that it can open and close. Open the book to find the infamous Necronomicon rhyming couplet written in Arabic, the original language of the book:
"That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die."

“why do you write jason speaking arabic?” “why is jason speaking arabic he’s not arab.”
fun fact : jason canonically knows a little arabic. so this confirms what i already know that people don’t actually read comics and only take fanon as gospel.
all the languages comic!jason knows:
russian (lost days #5) some arabic (rhato #21) german (lost days #3) portuguese (batman eternal #13) spanish (rh: the hill)
⠀𐂯
note: i’d still write him speaking arabic even if it wasn’t a canon thing. in my head he’s a very romantic person and arabic is the language of love to me so it suits him

Hey Isn't it funny how nearly all people against the UHC shooting and being "empathetic" of a member of the -5% bourgeoise class who directly benefited out of the exploitation and suffering of the most vulnerables amongst the proletarian class dying are nearly all either zionists, liberals, democrats and/or radfems?
I find it funny. Sad!

Forgive me if I loved you so violently and so madly, for violence is my weapon to write and my weapon when I love. And madness is the last gold ring I place on your fingers.

three things can be true at the same time. 1, christian (and ex-christian) arab, muslim, etc cultures are all deeply steeped in antisemitism. 2, muslims, christians etc who do fight antisemitism come from that same culture but are some of the loudest and most cherished allies. 3, there are tons of christians and muslims who aren't antisemitic, don't give two shits about jews neither hate nor love, full stop, and treating all christians and muslims as suspect is racist as hell.
antisemites are not subtle, smart, ethical, truthful or just "misspeaking"/"well meaning" when they cover their antisemitism with antizionist talk. they tell you who they are in a million different ways and treating large groups like they are all antisemites for being born is as wrong as hating all woman, men, blacks, whites, etc for the same.
idk. i just don't want to end up funneling my anger at the media and the amsterdam pogrom and the many many attacks against jews around the world into bigotry. i have to periodically remind myself that most people are normal and the jew hatred I'm constantly exposed to is done by people who mean to do it and want me funneled into the same bigoted bullshit that they are steeped in. i never want to abandon my humanity to become a racist like that, especially not because racists attack me.

Oh, to hear Marc speak Arabic again. Marc calling Layla, Habibti or Hayati. Steven's Azizi and Jake's Nour ‘yooni/'yooni. Even him humming to Egyptian songs. I also want to hear Habibi from Layla, I know Marc melts to that.

Good Talia characterization and good Damian characterization can co-exist easily, they are not mutually exclusive whatsoever. Good Ra’s characterization along with good characterization for either Talia and Damian cannot coexist eight out of ten times, they are mostly mutually exclusive.

literally insane fucking ask to send someone 😭 not arab but as an iranian it saddens me that we have such high rates of plastic surgery and nose jobs etc bc the world has told us that we have to look “white” to look beautiful….. i don’t…. direct hatred towards the people who get those surgeries? in weird and misogynistic ways? skill issue on anons part tbh
misogyny is absolutely born from criticizing women for being pressured to fit certain beauty standards, as opposed to critiquing the very institution that made them do that to begin with. and even if a woman chooses to get plastic surgery I’m not gonna say I “hate it” or that I “wanna throw up in my mouth about it.” what kind of attitude is that

Another day another movie getting banned for the tiniest lgbtq+ support in the Arab world
Whenever this happens i see two kinds of reactions from middle easterns online. Either angry at the people/companies that makes these movies for including the lgbtq+ community or happy that their government banned these movies because they go against "religion and traditions"...
I find it crazy how i don't see people talk about how wrong it is for the government to just take our rights and freedom to watch or refuse to watch these movies. Sure censorship isn't as bad in the middle east as it is in other places but it's still insane that these governments just ban shit because religion.
I hate living here. I will always hate living here.

I've been asking Allah عز وجل for righteous companions for such a long time now... and not once did I ever expect that du'a to be answered in the form of colleagues. Allahu Akbar, truly.
It is so mind boggling and heart warming at the same time, how unexpectedly and strangely Allah answers our prayers ❤️
