TRM Round 1: When Dinosaurs Roamed America (Narrated by John Goodman) vs. We’re Back! (Rex, voiced by John Goodman)

When Dinosaurs Roamed America (Narrated by John Goodman) – Here we have a family of T. rexes demonstrating the power of cooperation. When one of the younger T. rexes tries hunting alone, he struggles, which shouldn’t be much of a surprise. Most hunts, after all, end in failure. The next day, with the whole family working together, the rexes are able to separate an Edmontosaurus from the herd and lead it into an ambush by the mother T. rex. Sadly, their victory is short-lived, as this is yet another documentary that takes place in the last moments of the Cretaceous.

We’re Back! (Rex, voiced by John Goodman) – Rex is a kindhearted Tyrannosaurus who, along with some of his prehistoric peers, is brought to the present of 1993 by the inventor Captain Neweyes. On the way, the dinosaurs are given cereal that grants them human intelligence, thus allowing Rex to perform a musical number in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Things get weirder from there, as the dinosaurs then have their intelligence drained by the inventor’s evil twin to be used in his circus of fear. Neweyes manages to rescue the dinosaurs and take them to the museum, where they can spend their lives teaching kids about dinosaurs and, in the case of Rex, telling a runaway bird his life story during a game of golf.

Happy late November 1st everybody! which means that turkeys have to be prepared for Turkey Hell (or "Turkey Paradise" as some turkeys see it as) AKA Thanksgiving... Wait, Thanksgiving? What's that? A day where we go to the family table and avoid talk about politics, lack of significant other or no job? fuck it, the only three things I like about Thanksgiving is the food, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and watching the film Free Birds. And also... Mariah has already already thawed out of her frozen prison singing her song and filling our ears with Christmas joy, So Christmas time starts now for me.

When it became clear the Titanic was going down, Isidor and Ida Straus did as requested—the couple put on life jackets and moved to the Boat Deck where officers were lowering lifeboats and instructing women, children, and First Class passengers to board.

According to detailed accounts from Ida's maid and Isidor's work colleague (both surviving eyewitnesses who recounted the story to newspapers at the time) a Third Officer told Ida, who was wearing a full-length mink coat to brave the icy outdoor temperatures, to step onto the lifeboat. She did. When the officer beckoned to Isidor, prompting him to follow, he shook his head. Isidor said, “No I will not get on the lifeboat until I see that every woman and child has a chance to escape.”

The officer recognizing Mr. Straus as the co-owner of Macy’s, offered him a place on the lifeboat 8 but he declined electing to remain on the deck.

According to Archibald Gracie in "The Truth About the Titanic", at first the men tried to get Mrs. Straus into the boat but she would not go without her husband. Then the men all agreed that an old gentleman like Isador should be allowed into the boat. Gracie writes: "'No', he said, 'I do not wish any distinction in my favor which is not granted to the others.' As near as I can recall them these were the words which they addressed to me.

Seeing this, Ida then climbed back out of the boat and turned to her beloved husband. "We have lived a wonderful life together for 40 years and have six beautiful children together, if you won't get on the life boat, I won't either,” she told him.

She removed her mink coat and handed it her maid, Ellen Bird. "I won't have any further need," she said. "Please take this as you get into a lifeboat to keep you warm, until you are rescued."

Other sources say Ida stated, "We have lived together for many years. Where you go, I go."

Archibald Gracie writes, 'They expressed themselves as fully prepared to die, and calmly sat down in steamer chairs on the glass-enclosed Deck A, prepared to meet their fate.'

Isidor wrapped his arms around her, then, a great wave came over the port side of the ship and swept them both into the sea.

Isidor's body (No. 96) was recovered by the MacKay-Bennett and taken to Halifax. Ida was lost to the sea. (February 6th, 1849–April 15th, 1912) Born on the same day, they died on the same day.

A continuation from prior updates of the Elysium’verse TaKi Fuego Disappearance Event Saga - RECAP ELoki, Tory, and Maci in an unofficially tangly trio resulting in EeL knocked up with Tory’s baby, palace secret except for the three of them; in a fit of characteristic panic, EeL has DISAPPEARED and pseudo partners are distraught. Directly previously- a bright idea to ask his kids if they know where he is!

In the gap between last page & this page, Maci & Tory ambushed Libby in the hallway - she’s the “worst liar” amongst Loki’s litter lol - to find out where this top secret meeting was being held, proceeding to break into Rane’s room ANYWAY after she forbid Libby from letting them in. So here’s that meeting!!

Three Armies ready to work together and defend their country Opposed to Lord Rachel and her General Yasuno... working together with Lord Eiji and Lord Lydia... under the banner of the Land of Crimson... Two Countries at war.. one Seeking peace... one trying to take over the continent

Lord Henry and General Carol: Provide peace and Safety for anyone. Make sure war is stopped as quickly as possible

Lord Beelby: Make sure Villagers are seized back with Minimum damage or harm to Citizens
