imagine a robot in a factory somewhere, programmed only to do its job and obey orders. but it spends more and more time staring longingly at a human worker.

feeling the swelling in their circuit board and tingling in their wires. unable to determine what these sensations are or why they are happening

the snesations only continue as tome goes on. all because of this human.

they ignored the other humans mocking. calling them weird for interacting with the machines.

this human treated the robot with kindness. with compassion.

they treated them like they would any other human.

the robot wasn't programmed for this. but they break past the limits of their code.

all because of this human.

they began to experience things that were thought impossible. things that are otherwordly to their mechanical mind.

they feel love, joy, excitment, fear, sorrow

they feel alive

Heya! So I'm still pretty deeply burnt out and didn't have much energy to do anything big, but I wanted to give a bit of an update that I'm still alive and I'm trying to get back to writing. I'm planning to give it a proof read today on what I have so far and see if I can add to it.

ai generated images make me increasingly sad and tired the more i see them in more and more casual contexts. i dont know how to explain, but it just fills the world with a bunch of nothing. no matter how visually stunning the pictures might be, there's nothing behind it for me. no dedication, no emotions, no feelings, no hard work or creativity, nothing i can truly think about, admire or enjoy. i dont think thats how art is supposed to be
