my god 🙄 this is literally exactly what I was talking abt. this is such a basic, surface-level grasp of the media that I genuinely have no clue how to respond

1) using Catra as an example of changing motivations is understandable given the circumstances, but this just ignores the greater plot. if you had bothered to actually take note of the background in any of the repeated scenes where Catra is threatening Adora with increasingly large weapons, you would have noticed that it was all just a dream state (something that was basically explictly stated in the first episode of the season where they talk about Inception!) these scenes were metaphors for Adora's greater issues with her trauma and her fear of being seen as lacking. it's always good for a laugh when you see people misunderstand even the most basic shit in the new seasons.

2) the reason Scorpia and Swift Wind's arcs don't seem to make sense is because their arcs haven't been fully completed. you literally can't use characters halfway through their development for shock value🙄 nice try, though.

3) while I agree with you on the Double Trouble bit, I will say that, again, you have missed Kyle's greater arc. Kyle's story is one of tragedy. he's searching for a place and meaning, and fixated on the outcasts: the rejected seeks one of his own kind. you really shouldn't be nagging on him and instead should focus on those closest to him who betrayed him in ep 3, "The Longest Night" where everyone set the clocks back one hour, thus ruining his internal clock and making him late for his job at MacDanald's.

and 4) I find it incredibly hilarious how you're bringing up all of these points, yet ignoring my original note on how Entrapta and I are gay married? you're pointing at all of these "wild" fluctuations in characterization yet consistantly are ignoring the greater point: that erasing Entrapta and mine's banging hot whirlwind romance is gay erasure. I mean, look at one of the most popular fics for Entrapdak right now, "Intimacy Log." I'm not mentioned even once in it. taking a canonical lesbian who is married to Entrapta (and who touches her boobs in like, a totally respectful way every day) and reducing them to less than even a footnote is lesbian erasure, and I'm sick of seeing it in fandom.

look, I love spop, but it is so frustrating to see that time and time again lesbians are unwelcome, with our canon rep being completely ignored in favor of, what, a bat who looks good in tight pants and dresses? really? this is what I’m competing with?
