how would you make season 2 differently?

that’s a tough question bc, like i said, this season really was all over the place

i think the fundamentals would be:

1. make jackie’s relationship with veronica friendly since the beginning. like i said before, all of veronica’s closest relationships are with men, and having veronica being jackie’s friend would have been an interesting way of showing her moving on from lily and being open to new friendships. it would also mirror out nicely to veronica’s own situation in s01 when jackie becomes a pariah once her dad is accused of blowing up the bus, but this time showing that jackie had someone in her corner when, for the longest time (up until wallace arrived), veronica didn’t. it would also have been a better use of jackie, who was mostly there to be wallace’s love interest, and got written out in the most bullshit way possible (“oh by the way wallace i have a kid that i have literally never hint at having before, which is why i have to stay in new york and can’t come back for a s03, lol”).

2. have woody be the ultimate bad guy. he blew up the bus to keep it a secret he molested the boys because they were threatening to go public! maybe he could try to pin it on cassidy up until the last second, when veronica figures it out. and then in the rooftop, cassidy shows up at the last minute and blows woody’s brains out. it would have been better than having this 16-17 year old being the kind of mastermind who blew up the bus, incriminated/killed the other guy, tried to incriminate veronica, and then was somehow forward-thinking enough to plant a bomb on woody’s airplane even though there was no reason for him to do that beforehand. also tbh the fact that the kid who was shown to be a victim of csa AND heavy bullying being revealed as a derange mass-murderer + a rapist + a potential closet case left a bad taste in my mouth, not gonna lie (like. at least state clearly whether or not cassidy was gay, instead of just “”””hinting”””” at it)

3. give a better plotline to wallace. tbh he didn’t have anything to do aside from the father reveal, the hit and run and his thing with jackie; personally, the father reveal should have happened by the end of the season, wallace should have chosen to go visit his dad in chicago in the season finale, and then s03 starts with him in hearst + the hit and run plotline. the way the plot was just smackdabbed in the middle of s02 felt weird, not to mention that wallace disappearing from school, moving to an entirely different school and then coming back like nothing happened was just..wack. i know it’s a rich people school but seriously?

4. also what the hell happened to his mom? why did she break up with keith? why did we not see her reaction to wallace going missing/coming back/being accused of manslaughter? we only see her briefly in the last episode and that’s about it. she was underused

5. kendall casablancas’ was....there. i guess? but like. why

6. 60% less logan

7. cindy “mac” mackenzie is, and i cannot stress this enough, a lesbian

“S03″ from Une - nice every day lipstick, it’s more like a tinted lip balm but gives a lot of colour and makes your lips really soft, doesn’t hold that long though. i’m wearing it here

Lavender macaron lippie from NYX - everyday lipstick if you’re not a coward. jk but when i bought this i was like “literally when tf am i gonna wear this??” but i’vee worn it like 50 times since i bought it and i love it. i’m wearing it here

rouge pur couture nr 1 “rouge” from YSL - my fancy lipstick. its way redder irl. this is what you wear on your way to kill a man. also this holds for so long i’m wearing it here

“crosswires” from MAC - i don’t really use it a lot anymore but like a cute pink lipstick and it smells really good

“cameo” from FACE stockholm - kind of a peachy colour, good for summer

i can’t find what this is called but it’s also from YSL and it’s more like a lipgloss in aplication. it’s like a dark raspberry colour and it makes you look and feel super dramatic i’m wearing it here

“exotic” lip lingerie from NYX - also like a lipgloss in application but it dries quickly and is matt. i wear this a lot when i go out, it goes really well with most eyeshadows. i’m wearing it here
