🇪🇸 Málaga ha sido el escenario de la primera edición de los Premios Janucá, celebrados el 22 de diciembre de 2024 en el Auditorio Edgar Neville. Organizado por la Comunidad Judía de Málaga, este evento ha reunido a diversas personalidades de la provincia de Málaga y la Costa del Sol, destacando la importancia de la convivencia intercultural y el diálogo interreligioso. La celebración, que coincide con la festividad de Janucá, que se extiende del 25 de diciembre al 2 de enero, simboliza la victoria de la luz sobre la oscuridad y promueve valores de paz y esperanza. Durante la gala, se coronaron a tres personalidades comprometidas con la paz global y se encendieron las lámparas de la januquiá (candelabro de nueve brazos), marcando un acto de reflexión sobre el significado profundo de la luz, tanto en su sentido físico como metafórico, relacionado con el conocimiento y la comprensión mutua. El presidente de la Comunidad Judía de España, David Obadía, destacó el compromiso de la comunidad con la diversidad cultural y la tolerancia, celebrando la unidad en la diversidad que define a la ciudad de Málaga.
