maybe i’m a bad homo but i’m kind of sick of the repression and the unsaid gay love and the unhappy endings. like. is that just me. i’m tired of the tragedies and the unspoken loves and the hate crimes i’m forced to watch. i’m tired of it being a Secret to hide and i’m tired of it being something to Learn to be proud of. i kno our experiences and i kno it’s good to voice them and show them, but jesus fuck can i not just watch a shitty rom com but like, they happen to be gay. if we’re gonna do the repressed no one says it shit we all seem to b on can it not get an explicit happy ending?? i’m sick of seeing the same four poems used over and over not bc i don’t relate to them and think they’re bad, it’s the opposite. i’m tired of relating to them, i’m tired of not getting a happy ending where she kisses the girl and they get married or he saves the boy and they live together happily or they meet the love of their life and have to go through a wacky journey to find them again. i’m so tired of hearing the “it’s up for interpretation” and “does it need to be said” and “they held hands one (1) time but i won’t say when” and the “the love of his life gets killed in front of him” and the tragedy and the repression and the unfairness of it all! i want us to have a happy ending! can we please just get one happy ending
