Previous anon here - sorry but I don't like cp culture and even then I wanted First to be in a cp with Gawin. They were something else.

It seems to me you are contradicting yourself here?

You don’t like CP culture. But then mention you wanted First to be partnered with Gawin in a CP. And your previous asked alluded Khaotung is being held back artistically because of his CP with First. So, I’m not sure where you stand.

Nevertheless, you are of course free to like and dislikes whoever you want. You are also free to dislike the whole CP culture. However, it is here to stay because that’s how the Thai BL industry currently works, and perhaps this might change in the future where BL actors can partner and act with whoever they want. I mentioned in a previous asked, this is rare cause of how rooted CPs and their fandoms are in the Thai BL industry and ultimately, this is a business for both the company (and the boys).

And if you are going to be dealing with the industry long-term, I reckon it’s better for the individuals in any CPs to find someone they have faith and trust in (like what FK have for each other).

Also, I have always thought of CP like the golden era of Hollywood (although not as restrictive) - I’m talking the 1930s to 1940s era; where a M/F couple is often paired multiple times by their studios for different movies because of their on-screen chemistry and to capitalise their popularity. And it takes Hollywood years to go beyond that, where actors/actresses are now free to partner with whoever they want provided they pass the audition process. Thai BL (and BL as a genre) is still in its infancy. I don’t see the CP thing going away anytime soon.

As for First/Gawin as partnership, there is no doubt these boys can make chemistry with any boys thrown to them (in fact, I will believe it if FK say they are in love with a rock, to be honest) - First/Gawin certainly make a beautiful pairing on-screen. But off screen, Gawin has already moved on with Josh (for the upcoming vampire series) and well, First has never been shy with how possessive he is of Khaotung’s time and attention (the boy was happily third wheeling with every single event his bestie went with Podd during the PoddKhao era).

So, I just don’t see them “breaking up” unless it’s what both FK mutually agreed to do so. And for now, I just don’t see it happening.
