I know, I know this one is AWFUL but I swear, I'LL EAT THE NEXT ONE, PLEASE KEEP HOPE FOR ME, THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL ENTER TORIEL'S ARC!

The one on the right 👉, it's him as a mafia. At least I was trying to make him look like a mafia. I got the idea from a classiccherryberry art that they were mafias and it was a ploy thing which I really love. (Sadly I can't find the artwork fr some reason but if I find it I'm going to edit it in) oh and in that artwork Swap had this tattoo on he's arm and I was trying to do in my art but it looks like crap...

On the right 👉 I was just experimenting on my artstyle after seeing a TikTok video where they use a cartoon artstyle and they use dots as eyes and I thought it was pretty cute. You can clearly see that it didn't work out for me but still a cute artstyle

A dusttale comic kinda

For some reason I didn't give him any dislodge. Just pretend he's saying the most insane thing from a broken man OKAY. Idk why I didn't add anything, ig I couldn't figure out what would he say to Napstablook

So like the idea of this comic is that Napstablook is probably the only one that's alive because he's a ghost and stuff. This where dust finally defeated the human where they won't come back. Eventually Napstablook will notice that everyone is gone, they will wander around trying to find someone until they find Sans. I like to think that before Sans committed Genocide they at least know each. Napstablook was somewhat happy but still knew some was up especially since Sans being covered in dust.

Dust of course attack them but it isn't very effective cuz he's a ghost. Napstablook didn't really want to attack Sans, he's makes music not a fighter. So he give Sans mercy until Sans give mercy back and have mental breakdown...yay good ending kinda

For a bad ending Napstablook fight back and Sans gets very injured and Nightmare just comes out of nowhere and take Sans soooooo good ending for Sans just bad ending for Napstablook because they all alone.....so yea sad

What does the mettaton or napstablook redesign look like?

I know i designed MTT before but i kinda did kinda didnt like his design? i wanted to lean more into the nerdy aspect of him, he does romance novel reads on live and is one of the few who are more aware of the Passion trait :3 (Hence his interest in romance)

Napsta i did sorta purposely make just. super cute and silly idk i dont remember a Lust Napsta but i imagine he is a silly billy who gets abit clingy (he is pretty lonely)

Some facts about @rebooted-naj-au and the characters!

Main story:

-Gaster, Mother Tree and a powerful new character is in it

-The au is called Safe Spot. There are things from every au

-You'll see bunch of characters. Some cross overs as well

-The story is going to revolve around PJ most of the time

-We'll cut the story into 2 parts

Characters:

-Fresh and PJ won't have that much of interactions like in the og NaJ

-Nightmare and Dream knows sign language

-Ink has ADHD

-Horror, Killer and Dust lives together. Horror is 18 and the others are 17. They are like brothers

-Red is a dealer. He mostly sells exam answers (provided by PJ), catnip, school supplies, snacks. He is also dyslexic

-Lust is here but he just had many boyfriends, he isn't an offender like in the og NaJ. He doesn't have a proper home or an apartment. Either sleeps at his boyfriend's house or at school

-Cil is germophobic. He feels nervous around people that uses the 5 second rule

-Frisk is mute because why not

-Error and Nightmare were in the school band in highschool

-SG changed their last name on their birthday

-Alphys has a pink motorcycle (like those slow but cute ones you see in Vice City)

-Robots (like MTT) are bodies made for ghosts. Any ghost that wants to have a body can choose how they want to look. Mettaton considers buying one for Napstablook

-Napstablook likes watching fashion shows and galas in general

-Petal's sister, Withra is trans

-Palette, Crescent and Lux are royals (obviously). The order of getting on the throne is Crescent, Palette, Lux

-Raven is here! He is in university, specifically in Magic & Control University of Highlands

Strings, threatening, muffets already kinda out of it if you read her genocide dialogue. Add an eternity in a white void and you get destroyer muffet

Ink explaination

It makes since for flowey to be ink since they both have no soul. I would've made asgore the protector but he doesn't do much protecting. Plus flowey seems to be capable of some range of emotion, which is better than nothing

Fresh explaination

Fresh is canonically a parasite and I randomly thought it would be funny to have him possess burger pants and it stuck

Dream explaination

Asriel is perfectly suited for the role. Just look at the fluffy boi. Kind, sweet, sunshine, helpful. I honestly don't know why there isn't any dream-asriel, well, anything.

Nightmare explaination

Chara is asriels sibling, and they're the more malevolent of the two. Also it only makes sense.

Horror explaination

Made a new au for this grillby since I couldn't think of a good one for the in-code cannibal role. Grillby was the best fit since he already owns a bar.

I'm not sure whether to use muffet again or undyne. It would make sense to use muffet due to errors backstory, but undyne literally dies due to being too determined, which makes her the better candidate. But then that might result in an error undyne, so I'm not sure which one to do

I didn't know where to put king asgore so I made him king multiverse. Admittedly I don't know anything about king multiverse at all, so I'm not completely sure

Swap explaination

Underscramble mettaton is my favorite when it comes to the 'excitable human catcher' role. It was the only character I considered and I can't think of any better anyways

Killer explaination

Unfortunately I can't leave sans out comepletely so I let my favorite of the sans au's stay. He's got a good reason to be a sans that isn't just sans reskin

Sci explaination

I'm going to be very honest when I say that I hate the fact that sci's a sans and not an alphys. Y'know, the literal royal scientist. So I decided to fix that by doing what should have been done in the first place. On a less rant-ish note, I'm kinda tempted to make her a fell alphys

Core explaination

The goal is to reduce the amount of sans aus, so changing core would be pointless. Plus core's a good character

Lust explaination

I have no idea who to use for this role.

Fell explaination

I originally didn't know who to use, but then I remembered mad mew mew existed. I actually want to use a mad mew mew fell instead of a sad mew mew fell though. Anywho I gave mad mew the fell role since she's knows for being angry in the first place.

Epic explanation

Im not completely sure, but undyne seems like a good fit. From what I've seen of epic while he seems laid back he is also a protector. Naturally undyne seems like the best fit. But now the geno problem shows itself again.

A last minute thought, I only gave them this position due to time kid being a kid. Like king multiverse, I don't know anything about timekid. This position is most likely temporary at best

I still don't know where to put all of the characters on this list as I'm not completely sure of the sanses they'll be replacing. Or I can't decide between two characters. Still don't know where to put napstablook. Or gaster. And I want to give toriel a better role cause nim dies immediately.

Long story short lol, it’s a swap version of underlust! The underlust stuff is still true but they're swaped like in underswap!

There are ofc more differences lol, like Spark is a slight bit of a yandere(he's possessive and protective, he wouldn’t hurt any of his lovers and his pan/poly so he's good wish sharing! But if you make his lover/s uncomfortable he'll fuck you up) while Blue and Charm arent, Charm would still fight someone if they upset his lover though

Salt is also protective but more in the wraps an arm around his lovers shoulder to show that they're his, and isnt afraid of getting someone thrown out of Muffet's(or who I call Sugar cookie, but she isnt on the list since I don’t really wanna write x reader stuff for her lol) stripe club lmao

They're still lusts and typically just sleep around-

Ofc Toriel is the queen/main ruler of the underground while Asgore is in the ruins, he's demisexual,

Like the other lust aus they're basically constantly in heat/rut( and can trigger other's heats/ruts(if they can have them), but since they're in the underground and everyone's dealing with it they don’t really notice!

Though after they get out of the underground they normally take suppressants so they don’t bother everyone else/every other non human that doesn’t have the constant heats/ruts,

The kids even if they are affected basically just have a fever without the horny, till they're 'of age' at least(which is already almost an adult if not already an adult, so like 17 - 22 is about when it starts)

Note that I see all non humans as getting heat/rut(heat and rut only being different in how you feel(whether you wanna fuck something(rut) or wanna be fucked(heat)), but its only once a year for 1-4 weeks(so a week to a month),

There isnt a time of the year everyone gets their heat(heats and ruts can also 'change', like a bottom will always have heats and a top will always have ruts and anyone in between flip between them) and they vary, there are the suppressants but they're only taken when the heat/rut gets in the way of life or just makes you that uncomfortable(like if you're a sex repulsed ace!)(also legally places have to give you off for when you're in heat so you don’t trigger everyones heat that comes in/other workers there, when not in the underground ofc- since everyone has heat in the underground so it didn’t matter lmao)

It doesn’t matter if someone is ace/aro they still have heats, even asexuals,

Salt is bi/poly with a preference for men and is dating Napstablook! Who has a podcast/does audio of ready spicy novels, Napstablook(whi I call Cast) is demi(sexual and romantic),

Mettaton(or who I call Bookwarm) owns a library, its also where Cast's recording studio is, I also wanna note that I  give any ghosts(so the Napstas and swap Mettas) human looking forms,

Toriel takes suppressants even in the underground as she adopts a lot of kids and would rather have an easier time caring for them, though she'd never do anything to them ofc it just also helps with the bit of fever heats/ruts give them

💔 Is there a fic of yours that broke your heart?

No- Well... Yes? Uh. I don't really know how to answer this. I can't remember what feeling brokenhearted is like, exactly? My idea of it doesn't really come close to how my fics tend to make me feel. I get gradients of happy, and gradients of sad, but that isn't what being 'brokenhearted' is. That's a very... specific... kind of 'hurt'. And I don't really write stories that 'hurt' me.

If I had to pick the closest, I think there were a few scenes in Resonance that leaned that way? And when I was in high school, I wrote a couple cringy ass fics that were much closer... or felt that way at the time. I haven't read those since like... 2015 at the latest, probably more like 2008. Who knows how those old things hit now.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

Sans. This is a Sans simp account XD Trying to nail that iconic wit, charm, and cryptic depression is hard, but it's fun to try.

If I had to get UTMV specific, Red, Lust, Dance, Impulse, and Nyx Dr33mtal3!Nightmare are my top 5, but the #1 spot changes from day to day. I really like the freedom

Besides Sans, I really like Papyurs, Napstablook, Doggo, and Burgerpants. Papyrus has a bluntness and wit coupled with the neurodivergence that makes him use distinctly strange turns of phrases and vocabulary that really vibe with me. Napstablook is just... cute. Doggo brings this toothy energy and strong opinions to the table. And Burgerpants has the whole 'living under the inescapable thumb of capitalism while trying to hold onto the freedom of expression that makes life worth living' thing going on, which is relatable.

🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?

I don't really wear pants anymore, but if I did, they would be defying gravity with me in them.

Sometimes I have plans that sit formless and ephemeral in my head, and I can hold onto those ideas as a guide as I write longfics, but more often than not I just start with the first sentence of chapter 1 and then 'yes, and' my way to the end of the fic. Planning is a lot of work, and I tend to get... lost in the fun and effort of making plans. Doing things like outlines usually slows me down, if not stop me entirely, because in my head I feel like the outline is the same as writing the actual fic, so clearly if I finish the outline I finished the fic right? I know it doesn't actually work like that, so I just don't outline if I can help it

Honestly, I would like to see what other people would think about what they can do with this idea.

Buuuut since I'm the one making the AU, I might as well give you more factoids/ideas:

Each story is a different timeline, and it would take place before Frisk fell into the underground. Most of the time, Flowey will reset and get away scott free.

Alphys, as shown above, would be involve her being manipulated by Flowey into creating more amalgamates, eventually turning the underground into a goopy mess that slithers out of Mount Ebott, eventually consuming the world.

Toriel would be manipulated by her hobby of cooking. She'll end up making pies and desserts with dust in them. And she will like the taste of dust. Thanks to @analexthatdoesntexist, now its about Flowey using Toriel's anxiety for the children leaving her to his advantage and making her turn into a protective and obsessive monster.

Papyrus is a tricky one, because he is the most manipulable and the most vulnerable. Idk, maybe Flowey manipulates him into doing crimes before committing the biggest heist of them all: the human souls. All in the veil of doing good deeds.

Asgore would be manipulated into thinking that dust is a good fertilizer for flowers. Naaaaah that idea sucked balls. Now its gonna be about Flowey manipulating Asgore into using the six souls and reigniting the war against humans and monsters.

Mettaton would have his lust for fame and fortune turned against him as he does whatever it takes to get attention. Even if it means he has to do some... very bad things.

Napstablook will learn the art of possession from Flowey... at the cost of them slowly losing their own sense of self.

Muffet..... I think you can figure out what her story is about.

Flowey will teach Grillby that you can get free gold... you just have to kill somebody first.

Flowey will teach Burgerpants to stand up for himself, which will lead to some horrifying results.

Sans can't get manipulated.
