I know, I know this one is AWFUL but I swear, I'LL EAT THE NEXT ONE, PLEASE KEEP HOPE FOR ME, THE NEXT CHAPTER WILL ENTER TORIEL'S ARC!

I really liked the 1 am tea on Undertale MTT and Dancetale's feud in EMV.

I now want to write a fic where all the MTT/NTT's do a family feud style quiz show and wanted to reference this with the two teams being based on the 5TT(s) and TonTon as the host, since he's a neutral party. (This would exist in a nebulous universe unrelated to EMV, just with references to it)

But I only know Undertale Mettaton's group, and was curious if you had input on what Dancetale's would be?

Also, if you have nicknames (or suggestions) for all of them I would love that! (I like consistency, lol)

P.S. I love the way you write characters (and just in general, you are amazing at writing)!!!

That sounds so cool! (i too wanna write more about the MTTs but kam has to finish with kam's current character roster first xD lol)

I imagine that the group is largely the same, and the difference is whether Classic MTT or Dance MTT are the diva of choice.

I like to think that Dancetale MTT and Classic MTT are a little too similar in terms of personality, and end up butting heads because of it. But they both get along fine with everyone else.

If the group DID have to pick sides, I think it would be up to circumstances who would fall in line with whom. It could easily be written in several ways, with the balance shifting over one single choice of words. I can see both Dance and Classic MTT ending up either acting out or saying something in the heat of passion that makes or breaks an alliance. (Not that I think either of them would mean to hurt feelings for real, but they are the over-the-top types and get away from even themselves at times)

That being said, there are other dynamics I would keep in mind:

Fell!MTT and Fellswap!NTT are either (1) thick as thieves, being fell types who understand each other; or (2) have a rivalry of some kind where they butt heads over niche cultural differences that make the others very confused. i could also see both being true simultaneously, making it a friendly rivalry (maybe even homoerotic).

Underswap!NTT and Fellswap!NTT are probably on good terms, being the two natural introverts with low social batteries (introverts can introvert safer in groups)

Outertale!MTT probably likes Underlust!MTT for academic reasons (they are probably the only two who can speak to each other on the same level regarding certain technical topics)

Underlust!MTT likely prefers the NTTs more introverted natures to that of the flamboyance of his own counterparts. He could get along with them, but he might very well find them too much and too touchy for his liking (especially in an early relationship). Their obsession(s) with fame and fashion recognition might also put him off, although they'll have commonality when it comes to the business side of their fields.

I haven't given much thought to their nicknames yet, but here are the thoughts I do have:

Undertale MTT: Mettaton EX :: "EX" is the canon extension for his upgrade, and is also an abbreviation that sometimes means "Excellent; Excellence". I think it fits his personality.

Underfell MTT: Mettaton NEO :: NEO is the canon Genocide extension, and evokes the desperation that comes from fighting for your life in the context of Undertale. I think it fits well for his situation and context.

Underswap NTT: Napstation :: Given Swap!Napstablook is a DJ and radio star, his robot form having a double entendre relating to radio (radio station) makes me happy.

Fellswap NTT: Napstatron :: I just like the idea of a fell!swap!Napstablook taking the suffix -tron, since it evokes in me something menacing and (more) dangerous. I like to think he is a sweetheart deep down, but he had an image to maintain!

Dancetale MTT: Mettaton DX :: "DX" is an abbreviation that sometimes means "Deluxe", and is often used for upgraded forms of electronics. I can totally see a Mettaton taking it when he sees himself as a better version of... well, himself.

Underlust MTT: Mettaton LX a.k.a. Tonton :: "LX" is an abbreviation that sometimes means "Luxury", which fits with the original sexy design that Tonton tested and ultimately got stuck in. In another sense, it sort of fits with his augmented form, as it was redesigned to make him more comfortable since he couldnt leave it. I like that for him.

Outertale MTT: Mettaton LEO / Mettalite :: "LEO" is an abbreviation that sometimes means "low earth orbit", playing on him being a satellite and also constellations (Leo). It's also just one letter off from NEO, which pleases my aesthetics.

I’m not dead I swear!!!!

I got burned out trying to make the Underlust comic, character sheets, and answer questions that I kinda froze.

So redoing some things to make it easier.

The “comic” is now a picture book if that makes sense.

1k-2k words and 1-3 pictures to accompany them. They will be rendered instead of sketchy comic panels.

Im redesigning Undyne and changing some of Sans’s traits, also also I may redo the character sheet to look less sketchy and weird

Muffet, ashore and Napstablook are the next cards coming up I finally finalized my ideas for both Asgore and Muffet.

Inverted!Underfell

The first group here, so what are they? What do they do? They're basically a multiversal gossip tv show, lmao, but c'mon i think that fits them, but napstablook is more of a side character in this show, Ink sans is a very current guest in this show, and he always got the freshest goosip from thw multiverse to them. Muffet is the main host of the show and Mew Mew is paid to be there as well as Napstablook

Inverted!Fell! Grillby, Sans and Alphys!

I've already mentioned Inv.Fell.Alphys before in Inv.Horror.Alphys's lore, and basically, if she wasn't a maniac before, now she is, she's mad all the time because she doesn't have her wife close to her, so other people from other universes fears her, but people from underfell doesn't.

Inv.Fell.Sans is fine, i guess he has been "reprogrammed" to be honest all the time but sometimes specifically when it comes to his brother. He doesn't want to admit he misses him (yes Papyrus isn't here too), sometimes he does but it's very slight only people very close to him notices that.

Grillby.... he's just chillin', i think he just has another bar in Dreamtale, so he makes more money, sometimes he's also a very popular sponsor for media stuff.

Inverted!Fell! Toriel, Asgore, Frisk & Flowey

Asgore has the most lore builted out of this characters, Asgore is still an bad person but he's on a thing that Hopeful/Dream created to make him a better person, an sort of rehabilitation school or something like that it's still an WIP but there's some members of that school that are LustGaster, LustAsgore, maybe even FellAphys, maybe not even just bad people but people in bad situations like a sort of addiction such as LustAsgore himself, LustPaps and even FellNapstablook who knows, anyways. (Yes underlust is included in InvertedVerse, cry about it)

I feel like Fell Toriel, Frisk & Flower would just be chillin', maybe all of them would just do some therapy and they would be fine and here's their happily ever after yipeee. I really like how Toriel's design has turned out btw

Here’s a quick rundown of a monsters lifespan:

A common monster has a life expectancy of 700 years give or take. The oldest monster in record (that wasn’t a royal) was a Drake monster who lived 732 years.

They are considered infants/babies up until the age of two. Toddlerhood is from 2-6

Children are from the ages of 7-13. Most monsters start public school at ages 7-8

Teenagers are from 14-19. Monsters mature at a slower rate than humans, and so while the body may look grown in the later teen years, they have yet to develop sexual maturity until around 20.

Once 20 they are considered adults, but some subspecies can continue growing up till 30

After puberty in the early 19-22 range, a monster is considered a young adult from 25-190. You can compare those ages to a human in their early to mid 20s physically

Middle Ages range from 200s- 400s roughly

500s are considered older and retirement age, 600s are elderly. Anything past 680 is fragile

The lifespan goes down with halfbreed monsters ( “full” monster parent and “full” human parent) where they live around 600-650 years

The lifespan takes a bigger drop for mages who have an expectancy of 250 years. Witches (humans who have trained to use magic) are known to live up to their 130s if they aren’t soulbonded to a monster partner.

Monsters and half breeds born with the disease called dimming rarely live past their 400s

An exception to the monster lifespan are the “royals”. They take a ritual after being voted into office that binds them to their country, making it so that any decisions they make for the country has to be for its and the peoples benefit (as far as they believe), making them a servant to ebott for the rest of their lives, but extending their life and health in return. The ritual can be broken for the royals who wish to retire and die in peace. The oldest recorded ruler was rumored to be around three thousand

And now the crash!!

For those who don’t know what that is, it’s when all the AUs merged (and my excuse for why all these guys are in the same place lol).

The crash started 17 years ago, and ended within 9 months. Since then no other mystery groups of monsters have been discovered.

Here’s a brief timeline of ebott from crash until now

First day: the land mass that holds ebott appears

Day 2: undertale, underswap, gastertale,, dancetale, theatretale, templetale, all the “farm” AUs, “lust” AUs and the “outer” AUs

Month one: the bird AUs fall from the sky, the nomads stumble out of the forest and the sea AUs mysteriously arrive on ship to shore

Month two, after two months, most of the fell aus (underfell, swapfell, fellswap gold) appear

Month three, the factory (mafias) monsters appear along with the “ghost city” now inhabited and known as ebott city, the capitol. A few weeks later, the fallout monsters appear and ebotts first official hospitals are created

Month four, the royals are finally brought together after threats of inner fighting, and Asgore is voted in as the king

Things settle for four more months, and the new land is explored, vary basic laws are out into place, and things start getting divided into districts.

Month five: Ebott makes contact with several other countries and is introduced to the worlds currency system. Ebotts gold, silver, copper coins is recognized as a currency by the rest of the world

Month seven, the first and only orphanage is founded for any unclaimed children.

On month nine of the crash, the monsters finally access the underground, and to their horror, they find three separate chambers housing the starving horror AUs who had no idea everything that was going on above.

Month ten, land is sold and divided, and ebott begins creating large scale farms

May 20, 2007, ebott celebrates their first official year as a country. The capitol city is named new ebott (cause Asgore sucks at naming things and frankly the rest of the royals aren’t much better)

May 30th, the royal guard is finally re-organized

December 2007, ebotts first countrywide gyftmas celebration, also an official design for the flag and coins are voted on and implemented

February 2008, the first official jail is built and used in ebott lol

July 2008, ebott is finally let into the rest of the worlds internet, and electricity reaches more areas besides just ebott city

August 2008, ebotts children and teens discover tik tok, and it is unanimously decided by every one that a standard public school has to be created

Late august 2008, the first public school is finished in city center

September 2008, the number of school sites number around 300, and counting

January 2009, ebott state college is built and open

April 2009, the ebott scouts is formed, and children hoping to join the guard in the future are able to sign up.

March 2010, ebott is opened by presiding countries for international students and charity programs

November 2010, the following of lady magic opens the temple to the public, and takes over the maintenance of what used to be known as the horrors underground. A grotto is transformed into a place of remembrance for those left behind before the crash

May 2011, the core from the stable underground is moved to the surface and duplicated into several other power factories. All of inhabited ebott is at least within an hour of power

May 2012, the stable underground is open to the public as a tourist attraction. Ebotts is opened by presiding countries to tourism

February 2013, because of public pressure from mainly farm, bird, lusts and the temple monsters, human-monster marriages are now recognized under the state as valid

July 2013 A farm monster discovers how to successfully cultivate magic crops from the underground, aboveground. He shares the secret for free, and other farm monsters take initiative to start sharing their own crop secrets. He is awarded the title of prince.

January 2014 Due to complaints about side effects from human foods, money is poured into research about safer ways to process and preserve foods in ebott.

April 2014, mellowmart becomes the largest company in ebott, finally beating out Walmart in scale.

December 2016, ebott petitions to be recognized as a free independent country to the United Nations. Ebott is turned down

December 2017, ebott petitions again to be recognized as an independent nation

February 2017 Immigration into ebott is closed, and monsters begin boycotting imported human goods. The ebott navy is built.

July 2017, ebott is declared an independent nation

March 2018, the royals declare ebott self sufficient in feeding the country when the amount of food related exports finally exceeds the imports for the first time

July 2018, ebott celebrates its first freedom festival

October 2018, the first college dedicated to the arts is opened in the captitol

July 2019, magical spars are declared the national sport after a grueling battle between spar fans and pickleball fans

November 2019, the first echo festival is celebrated in Goldenvalley

February 2020, humans not born in ebott are finally allowed to apply for citizenship, and the process for that is created.

April 2020 the goldenflower festival is organized for the first time

September 2020, several big brands like coco cola, Hersheys and nestle are banned in ebott when complaints of health issues becomes too much

March 2021, Wendy’s becomes the first company to create a monster-safe fast food outside of ebott, and after months of testing, is given permission to sell. Many other food companies follow and begin making separate recipes for their monster customers

May 2022, snails are declared the national animal of ebott, and popular snail breeds are recognized and the society of the domesticated snail is created for shows and licenses

November 2022, a different country tries to declare war on ebott on the grounds of them “stealing” their young working force (immigrant workers). Ebott threatens to close borders to tourists, those coming for medical care, and all outside companies selling in their lands. The untied nations slaps down the country declaring war.

February 2023, a new branch of the royal guard, called the NPTRF (national people’s trafficking relief foundation) or more commonly called the reverse kidnappers by ebotts supportive teens, is founded to combat the rapidly rising issue of monsters and humans being trafficked and dragged outside the country

I like lustale, but I'm a little nervous to jump ship from underlust in regards to the ghost fam and their gender

Does mtt use he/him pronouns? Mad mew mew (mad dummy) use she/her? And does Napstablook use they/them?

This matters a lot to me because ghost monsters are just an allegory for being trans and it's kinda painful to watch some people use (for example) she/her for mtt.

As a not as important side note: is mtt ace? I only ask cuz he's very ace coded in what you've said about him so far (and he was extremely ace coded in underlust as well)

Hello!! I def understand, and any questions about Lusttale's chara information like this is heavily welcomed, specially as i appreciate everyone asking since it does help me expand on all characters :D ( It also helps me learn about concerns! ) - MTT is He / Him, he is also Demi-Ace + Bisexual, some people say he is gay others say he is straight, so im making him Bi. Him being gay feels abit too stereotype-y while straight i dont mind i also dont fully think fits his character just as is ( specially if theres a possiblity of Papyton happening in Lusttale, i say possibility as it will be a slowburn ) MTT will most likely be another character i have lots of fun expanding with, he is not trans however does suffer with body dysphoria, mainly after going from ghost to robot thinking him having a body, this is not because of anything prominent in the games nor anything in OG Underlust, rather than just something i feel can help his character in Lusttale ( i am not putting a headcanon onto OG MTT ) - Mad Mew Mew does use She/Her, I havent yet heard of her being Mad Dummy, in Luttale they would most likely be sep bc i havent heard of it but if you ( or anyone else ) would like to give me more info on this id love to hear and will most likely use it!! Mad Dummy is one of my legit favorite characters in Undertale even tho ik i said Papyrus once, but the Mad Dummy's song hits so good :D - Napstablook does infact use They/Them pronouns! None of them are trans, i will most likely stick to their original pronouns or they/them pronouns!

Long story short lol, it’s a swap version of underlust! The underlust stuff is still true but they're swaped like in underswap!

There are ofc more differences lol, like Spark is a slight bit of a yandere(he's possessive and protective, he wouldn’t hurt any of his lovers and his pan/poly so he's good wish sharing! But if you make his lover/s uncomfortable he'll fuck you up) while Blue and Charm arent, Charm would still fight someone if they upset his lover though

Salt is also protective but more in the wraps an arm around his lovers shoulder to show that they're his, and isnt afraid of getting someone thrown out of Muffet's(or who I call Sugar cookie, but she isnt on the list since I don’t really wanna write x reader stuff for her lol) stripe club lmao

They're still lusts and typically just sleep around-

Ofc Toriel is the queen/main ruler of the underground while Asgore is in the ruins, he's demisexual,

Like the other lust aus they're basically constantly in heat/rut( and can trigger other's heats/ruts(if they can have them), but since they're in the underground and everyone's dealing with it they don’t really notice!

Though after they get out of the underground they normally take suppressants so they don’t bother everyone else/every other non human that doesn’t have the constant heats/ruts,

The kids even if they are affected basically just have a fever without the horny, till they're 'of age' at least(which is already almost an adult if not already an adult, so like 17 - 22 is about when it starts)

Note that I see all non humans as getting heat/rut(heat and rut only being different in how you feel(whether you wanna fuck something(rut) or wanna be fucked(heat)), but its only once a year for 1-4 weeks(so a week to a month),

There isnt a time of the year everyone gets their heat(heats and ruts can also 'change', like a bottom will always have heats and a top will always have ruts and anyone in between flip between them) and they vary, there are the suppressants but they're only taken when the heat/rut gets in the way of life or just makes you that uncomfortable(like if you're a sex repulsed ace!)(also legally places have to give you off for when you're in heat so you don’t trigger everyones heat that comes in/other workers there, when not in the underground ofc- since everyone has heat in the underground so it didn’t matter lmao)

It doesn’t matter if someone is ace/aro they still have heats, even asexuals,

Salt is bi/poly with a preference for men and is dating Napstablook! Who has a podcast/does audio of ready spicy novels, Napstablook(whi I call Cast) is demi(sexual and romantic),

Mettaton(or who I call Bookwarm) owns a library, its also where Cast's recording studio is, I also wanna note that I  give any ghosts(so the Napstas and swap Mettas) human looking forms,

Toriel takes suppressants even in the underground as she adopts a lot of kids and would rather have an easier time caring for them, though she'd never do anything to them ofc it just also helps with the bit of fever heats/ruts give them
