i see your vision. i feel it. def agree on griffin as barry since he's like basically a self insert. aabria did such a good lucretia in imbalance but i dont think i could resist a lup emily like holy SHIT. shes so chaotic and perfect. anon you are so real for this.

i do think id lean in the emily direction, just bc between lup and lucretia, i think lup makes a better PC (extremely active, can drive plots as a character) and lucretia would make a more fitting NPC (being either shy/solitary or later authoritative, good gm tool)

The cutie in that picture is actually my dog, Lup (pronounced Loop) But i'll let her know you called her beautiful! (Thank you, anon! That is so unbelievably sweet and kind! I get pretty down on myself, looks-wise, way too much. so confidence boosts like this are like little pieces of SUNSHINE!) As for finding my Peeta Mellark... not to get sentimental, and heartbreakingly depressing, on main but I did meet my Peeta Mellark. They were perfect, wonderful, funny, absolutely gorgeous, the kindest and most loving human being i'd ever met in my life. They made me smile every second of every day I got to love them. And they made me laugh with my entire soul. They changed my heart and my life in every possible way a person could be changed for the better. And they even loved to BAKE. (I still think about their biscuits and their beer bread with fondness!) They were my favorite person in the entire world and I could talk about them for hours. All anyone has to do is bring them up and it lights me up from the inside. I LOVE talking about them. They passed away in December of 2019. Three days after we were engaged. My heart was torn to pieces and it took me 4 years, and a LOT of therapy, to want to live life again. I will spend the rest of my life loving them and looking forward to all of the things I'll get to tell them I did with my life when I do get to see them again. I've actually recently started dating again. I've gone on a few dates with an absolute teddy bear of a man who seems to be besotted with me and whose company I really, truly enjoy. huehue all i have is jigen alcoholism, but this isn't that

he's somehow touch-starved and touch-averse at the same time. he doesn't like when people touch him, but he also craves human contact. even the lupgang aren't exempt from this, but they have a higher chance of success, that he'll actually let them touch him. because he trusts them with his life, he's accepted that they have to touch him... and those are the moments he loves. for some reason. i guess he likes when people care about him.

why do i hc that? dunno chief, but i get that vibe from him.

second, goe has a hidden artistic depth(tm). i have sent this as anon to a different blog, i can't remember their name but screw it, i'll stuff it into your ask box too.

he does calligraphy. not the boring european calligraphy, that's more of lupin's domain. no, goemon does eastern calligraphy. there's several styles, based on what i found out. i don't remember them all, but i think goe would do zen calligraphy, as a different form of meditation (drawing a near perfect circle is pretty heccin hard), and cursive. the crux of cursive lies in its fluid form, the kana is simplified, shapes are connected into one elegant, fluid form. like goe's swordsmanship! if he writes haikus, he'd definitely write them as calligraphy too.

YES jigen is very odd about contact... i feel like its partly bc hes afraid of doing physical affection "wrong" somehow.. like he overthinks it so much hed just prefer to avoid it alltogether sometimes (and me being infected with brainrot: the only one really exempt from his whole "no touchy" mood is lupin. that man can touch him all he wants)

and YESSS oml ive always loved the idea of goe being artsy, being good with a sword gives him a surprisingly steady and precise hand for penmanship and general sketching/painting (lupin is secretly very jealous bc that stuff takes so much patience. which. lup is definitely lacking in)

(In regards to the ask you got about BG3 and TAZ) I actually started a playthrough with a Tav!Lup, and was roleplaying it as... she didn't get stuck in the umbrastaff, and got her memories wiped by Fisher, instead.

Some were rejected for petty and foolish reasons, such as “I don’t like Hetalia” and “I don’t like early 2000s movies.”

Can you give any examples of your last post (character says they’ll be back soon but we know they won’t?) I know it’s a common-ish story device but I somehow can’t think of any times I’ve witnessed it! (The brain fog really is winning today…)

well I'm replaying ffxv where one character says it to another and then she dies like five minutes later but that's only what reminded me of it in other stuff cause then I remembered the adventure zone and when lup says "back soon" and then dies and is forgotten for a time. and while it may not fully count there's when obi-wan and anakin say goodbye in rots, while they do meet up again it's arguably not as who they were.

uhhh other examples, lemme see, I'm still on square so there's also kingdom hearts when aqua tells terra she'll be back but then falls into the darkness for years to come. mass effect when shepard tells any of their love interests they'll see them at the end of the battle. also mcu when steve says he'll meet peggy for that date. gargoyles in the first episode when goliath says goodbye to demona, they won't meet again for hundreds of years...

most of the things I can think of are ones where the characters do see each other again but are arguably changed by their experiences and not the same characters at all. my brain is also in a fog sorry anon. I'll try to think of some more later.

however i had tons of fun writing it and it made me so happy seeing how many ppl had fun reading it. i reread all the comments after every chapter and would be smiling the whole time (and i STILL get comments sometimes!!!!!! which is very kind) and i came to the realization that the reason why i haven't written anything substantial since this fic save for like. a Couple of shitty poems in the university journal and a Bunch of shitty articles is because i forgot how to be SILLY !!!!!!!!!! i have been SERIOUSING TOO HARD. i gotta be silly again. and what makes it 100x better is that when i make my silly fic and ppl are silly with me !!!!!!!!!!!!! ITS FUN !!!!!!!!!
