Surprise: I did both! All three of these lil babies were a blast to design, so I hope you enjoy them!

First up: Spectre is most like Wisp, eyes included-at least, in physical appearance. They're a pretty big scaredy-cat, sometimes even getting frightened by his own shadow. They rely a lot on their brother, Ray, to help him when he's a bit too scared. They have stronger Aura powers of the two.

Ray is much more similar to Lunar, especially when he was younger. He really wants to be a Pokemon trainer's first buddy and travel with them! But at the same time, he doesn't want to leave Spectre by himself... It's tough for the lil bunny-dog.

Unfortunately, even though Mint's shiny genes do SLIGHTLY affect the odds of the baby being shiny, it's not guaranteed, so Rye is not shiny. He did, however, get a lot of very interesting markings-and his big tail end is fluffy. The white stripe down the middle is on the underside of the tail, so won't be usually seen-I just positioned it so that you can see it! Rye is a little beam of sunshine in anybody's life, and wants to be like Mint-a Service 'mon for somebody. He hopes that with his Lucario genes, he could be bigger and be a seeing-eye 'mon!

Chance: So, you may be wondering, “How on earth are you gonna show a death battle? Is that not too gruesome for TV?” And I say don’t you all worry your pretty little heads. This battle royal is simulated, meaning the contestants will not feel a thing. As it’s styled like The Hunger Games, the aim of the game is to be the last one to survive! The last contestant remaining will get the Victorious Ones trophy from yours truly!

We’ve sent everyone down into their districts. Before I give the signal for everyone to begin, let’s have a listen in to some contestants thoughts through our live video screen!

Chance: Oh ho! A bit of smack talk from one of the contestants! This will be exciting! I wonder if the other contestants are feeling as confident or whether their nerves are getting the best of them!

(The 200 follower event is a go! Each week, I will post what the simulator mentions on it and add some drawings about what’s happened. As I said, I’m not gonna make them gruesome or serious. It will be in a comedic tone with slapstick-styled “deaths”.

Now that you know the very first pairings, feel free to draw your character either talking smack to the other character in your district or perhaps some other form of dialogue. This is not mandatory in any way! This is solely for a bit of fun before I get to drawing the events that are taking place! The Cinderace sits upon the ground to wait for the order, smiling gently to the Polteageist. "Yes, we did. That was quite the party."

"Ah... I'm... Fine, mostly. Just... missing my other child. You never got to meet her-she's a Scorbunny, with some Skwovet in her, and goes by Tanga. She went out to venture with my trainer, and... well... I let her go." His ears folded back as he chuckled a little.

"I want her to be independent and all that, but... It's hard to let a little one go." He shifts, petting little Yache, who lets out a happy call, "I still have Yache, sure... but she was my first child. Not... actually, of course, my trainer got her for me to care for, but... still."

He waved his paw a little, shaking his head as he tried to relax and feel better. "Nevermind all that. I'm okay, really. As much as I miss Tanga, I don't want to be running off to bring her back. I want her to grow up strong."

[@saguaropokevariants] Lunar approaches, with Yache in tow. "Hey, uhm... May I get a Jasmine tea with carbink crystal pearls, and a kid-sized liechi for my little one?" He smiles, but it's a clearly one of sorrow as well.

"Oh, hello again!" Hibiscus greets the Cinderace and his little one, writing down their orders on a notepad before tearing the page out and extending an arm towards the kitchen, where Houkui and Kettle were waiting to receive it. "We first met at Lunch's birthday party, correct?"

The Polteageist then looked up, noticing Lunar's downcast expression. "Oh- if you don't mind me asking, are you okay?"

Sundrop: How old are they?

Coil: Do they have a favorite game or anything like that?

Lunar: Ahah, well, this little one is Yache. They're… … Solar: You've already forgotten, huh? Lunar: No, no, shush! I got this…

Lunar: …Goodness, they'll be two years old next month! I swear it feels like only yesterday that this little one hatched! Yache: Too!!! Lunar: As for games, they don't really… know many. According to Saguaro's studies on them, they're still considered to be VERY young. Maybe you guys can help them…? Yache: Play! Lunar: Hahah… I think they want to. I wouldn't mind if you two want to play with them, as long as you're gentle.

Lunar: I want you all to stay in sight, okay? Yache: Okay! Solar: Sweet little kid ya got. Lunar: You should see Tanga, she's a very kind kiddo… and definitely has a boyfriend, hahah! Solar: Is she the Scorbunny making snow'mon with a black Scorbunny? Lunar: Yep, that's her! She's growing up so fast… I wanted to come with her, but I decided to let her go out on her own adventure. Solar: She definitely seems like a kind child. It must've been hard. Lunar: She really is. It was… really hard, letting her go. But I can tell she's doing wonderfully, and I'm proud of how much she's grown already. I can't wait for her to come home a big Cinderace.

The Cinderace sits to act as a barrier between Ari and Saguaro, showing that the human means no harm.

Ari can easily tell that Lunar trusts Saguaro, so they decide to give them a chance as well. Ari attempted to push themself to their feet, using a tree for balance, just so they didn't have to look up at the other human.

"It was… nice at first. I lived in the Johto region for much of my early life. I even became a Pokémon Trainer. But I wasn't in it to be the League Champion or save the world from calamity."

"I wanted to be one of the bridges between people and Pokémon, to help us understand each other."

"I'm pretty sure my original plan was to become a Pokémon Professor, sorta like this one other person that visited from Sinnoh... I think we always just called her Ms. Cinnabar, who was going through training." "Of course, we all do stupid things as we grow up, and I got involved with the wrong group of so-called "friends". It wasn't until just a few months ago that I realized the mistake I'd made. I'd been running ever since. And I know I can never go back."

"Few days ago, I hopped on a cargo ship, and you know what happened from there." Ari finally stopped trying to push themselves onto their feet, and sat down against the tree. They were still pretty weak from that fiasco.

"I have many regrets from back then, but stands above all the others… One I'll never forgive myself for. Since then, I've realized one ultimate truth: nothing is worth losing sight of yourself and who you are…"

"Don't lose sight of yourself too. Your Cinderace trusts you, and I'm sure you know that, but no one is completely immune to losing their way. If you do..." Ari gave a toothy grin to Lunar, doing their best to hide the sadness that those memories brought with them. "Well, I'm sure you can knock a little sense into them for me if that happens!"
