— Eu teria visto a Luna se ela estivesse aqui — Jaemin forçou a porta pra trás e você foi obrigada a soltar a maçaneta e se afastar para o lado, o Na fechou a porta sem se virar para trás, investigando o cômodo da sala atrás de você que ele tinha um vislumbre do corredor pequeno que era a sua entrada, você ajeitou os óculos de descanso que adornavam seu rosto, chamando a atenção de Jaemin que finalmente baixou os olhos na sua direção. — Vai ver seu narizinho tá se acostumando com o pelo dos meus bebês — Jaemin afirmou, fazendo vocês dois se recordarem de uma noite em específico que fez suas bochechas automaticamente corarem e você simplesmente se odiava por isso, por ser tão sensível a qualquer coisa que envolvesse o Na, era como se ele fosse a sua kriptonita, porque era bastante óbvio que toda vez que Jaemin estava por perto, você se sentia fraca, um tanto quanto quente e ansiosa, ficar com ele não poderia ser descrito como confortável, tratava-se mais como um tormento deliciosamente agradável, difícil de abrir mão — É, eu lembro de ficar preocupado com seus olhos lacrimejando além da conta, achei que 'tava te machucando, mas ai você espirrou na minha cara, nojenta.

E meus parabéns, você acabou de descobrir que a cura pra algo crônico é a convivência com o mau em questão — Quando vocês estavam próximos do seu quarto que ostentava um papel de parede vibrante, uma penteadeira repleta de arabescos, uma cama de casal e um guarda-roupa que mal cabia a quantidade de roupas que você possuia, e por isso um significativo número delas estava no apartamento de Jaemin em frente ao seu, o primeiro espirro se fez presente e você sentiu seu nariz formigar de coceira, soube imediatamente onde a gatinha estava — Ela tá aqui.

— Já te falei que você parece um cão farejador? — Jaemin questionou e você revirou os olhos da forma mais lenta que conseguiu, ele te dava nos nervos, mas era tão lindo, bom de papo e em outras coisinhas a mais que não fazia sentido recuar por causa de todas as provocações, de certa forma era o que acendia o relacionamento de vocês mais do que qualquer outra coisa. Jaemin se ajoelhou diante da cama, abaixando para observar por baixo dela, espremeu os olhos um pouquinho antes de começar a chamar Luna com aquela vozinha que geralmente usamos com bebês, e em questão de segundos, lá estava ela, se aconchegando e se esfregando no peito de Jaemin de uma forma que fez você sentir ciúmes e inveja de um animal doméstico, provavelmente na cabeça da gatinha, ela estava afirmando e ressaltando que Jaemin era só dela, e não de uma humana qualquer como você.

— Sentiu falta do papai, bebê? Como você veio parar aqui, hien? — Foi uma pergunta retórica obviamente, nem você sabia muito bem como ela tinha invadido sua casa, mas isso não foi de todo ruim considerando quão ridiculamente Jaemin estava atraente naquele dia, não que nos outros dias fosse diferente, entretanto Jaemin às vezes extrapolava no nível de beleza e você não conseguia parar de examinar cada um de seus traços — O que você tá procurando hein, bonitinha?

Luna parecia um pouco irrequieta no colo de Jaemin, tentando se desvencilhar do toque para estar em terra firme novamente, Jaemin fez o movimento para colocá-la no chão, mas parou na metade ao avistar um monstro perto de um dos pés da cama.

— Jaemin, não me diz que aquilo é uma barata de esgoto — Você por instinto subiu na cama, tentando se proteger do ser pequeno que aterrorizava tanto você quanto Jaemin que soltou Luna na direção do corredor que levava a sala, e muito estrategicamente pra não dizer tragicamente mirou a primeira coisa que encontrou no seu quarto – um desodorante aerosol – na direção do inseto, lançando-o e subindo na cama com você, com a diferença de que ele estava de joelhos enquanto você estava de pé.

— É sério isso? — Você perguntou, olhando-o de cima ao mesmo tempo que Jaemin exibia um sorriso traçoeiro em conjunto com beijos nas suas coxas descobertas por um short de dormir, considerando que era manhã num dia de domingo. Jaemin te puxou para baixo, te fazendo deitar e ficando por cima, arrumando seus cabelos espalhados sobre a roupa de cama rosa.

— É claro, o que você queria que eu fizesse? — Ele retirou seus óculos, pousando-os na mesinha de cabeceira ao lado da cama, e encostou os lábios calmamente nas suas pálpebras num beijo doce, depois nas suas bochechas e por último nos seus lábios, onde permaneceu por mais tempo, envolvendo a língua morna na sua até que as bocas estivessem inchadas e a vermelhidão no seu nariz recebesse outro motivo além da alergia. Dragobete

A romanian valentine's day.

The son of Baba Dochia (another folkloric being in our mythology), Dragobete is the patron of love and bringer of spring. His coming is awaited with flowers. His calling is to kiss the girls on this day, 24th of February, because the girl who isn't kissed shall remain single the whole year.

Dragobete, or Dragomir by his first name, is a young god, beautiful, a lover by nature, strong and charming, bringing joy in people's lives. Because no one knew who his father was, they assumed it was the Spirit of the Mountain.

When our loverboy was born, four ursitoare (fairies godmother) came to offer him the most generous of gifts. The first one, Spring, blessed him with love. Summer, the second one, gave him the sweetness of ripe fruits. The third one, Autumn, gave him a flute, to bring joy to those who hear him play, while Winter, the fourth fairy, offered him a white coat, adorned with diamonds and a red belt, sewn with pearls. The coat was designed to grow with the boy, never getting dirty, no matter how much he wore it. Because of these gifts, Dragobete managed to make every girl he wished, fall for him.

As he grew, he took the path of mountains, hearing the call of his parents, to learn all about plants and animals. Which is why, in the folk belief, Dragobete is also the protector of birds and herbs.

Another belief have him turned by his mother into a medicinal plant called Năvalnic. The plant is used in love spells and treating wounds.

to celebrate Dragobete, the girls go in forests and plains in search of the first flowers of spring and hang them on icons to be young and beautiful and keep away all jealousy and bad thoughts sent their way. dried flowers are thrown in a running water on Sânziene day, so all the evils will go away with them. if they found ripe berries, they'd take the flowers and make bouquetes that were put in their water, as they washed their hair while saying „Flori de fragă Din luna lui Faur La toată lumea să fiu dragă Urâciunile să le desparți”. (Berry flowers of the month of February, make it so that everyone likes me, cast away all ugly thoughts and wills from me)

the boys would pick ghiocei (snowdrops) and bring them home, because an old saying goes "as many flowers in your house, as many chickens in your farm"

those who are single on Dragobete, or don't manage to kiss, or the very least touch, a person of romantic interest, are doomed to another year without finding their soulmate.

those who have a partner and spent even a second with them on this day, will be together the whole year.

if you dream of your crush the night of Dragobete, speak to them and their heart shall open for you.

anyone who sees a pupăză (hoopoe) on this day, will be lucky all year long and if you see a pair of birds, you'll always be loved (birds are known to chose a mate this time of year).

early in the morning, young women would also search for remaining snow, melt it and wash their hair and face with it, to have clean skin and healthy hair.

another belief says that if you go on a date on Dragobete and don't kiss, you and that person will break up

as a boy you have to drink a special tea, made with sour cherry brenches to have a chance at love the year that's to come.

if men are mean or fight with women on this day, their spring will be filled with bad luck and they'll have an awful year

everyone should be happy on 24th of February, to honor Dragobete and convince him to bring them a lover

in some places, girls would put busuioc (basil) under their pillows to dream the face of their soulmate

in other parts, girls would run, chased by boys. if a girl was caught and she liked the boy, they'd kiss as everyone watched, which symbolized their wedding in the fall.

Four major wildfires have forced tens of thousands of residents to evacuate Los Angeles County. The largest, the Palisades Fire, has destroyed 1,000 structures and burned over 5,000 acres. Fires in Eaton Canyon and other areas have stretched emergency services to capacity. "The LA County Fire Department was prepared for one or two major brush fires, but not four," Fire Chief Anthony Marrone stated, citing extreme winds as a major challenge. The National Guard has been deployed to support overwhelmed firefighting teams in the region.

Sheriff Robert Luna addressed residents' safety concerns, assuring them that evacuation zones are being secured. "They are securing areas that are evacuated," Luna said. "And it's always sad when I have to say this, but part of our responsibility is to make sure that no one loots or steals from our residents." He also reported that two individuals had already been arrested for looting.

Amazon pulled the plug on the premiere for Jennifer Lopez's Unstoppable and Universal cancelled the world premiere for the Blumhouse horror film Wolf Man, both slated to take place Tuesday night. Paramount has also cancelled its Wednesday night L.A. premiere for Better Man, a Robbie Williams biopic, and the upcoming Max medical drama series The Pitt cancelled its red carpet in Los Angeles, which was set to take place on Wednesday. The premiere of The Last Showgirl, scheduled for Thursday, has also been cancelled by its studio, Roadside Attractions.

The annual BAFTA Tea Party, a celebrity-filled stop on the Oscar circuit originally intended to occur on Jan. 11, has been cancelled "in light of the dangerous winds and wildfires in Los Angeles," BAFTA North America said in a statement on X.

A fire broke out Tuesday near the Pacific Palisades — a coastal neighborhood on the west side of Los Angeles — and quickly exploded in less than an hour to at least 200 acres.

A large swath of people in Topanga Canyon, a woodsy, tucked-away community with one winding road in and out, are under evacuation warnings. The fire sparked amid a “life-threatening and destructive” windstorm event that’s sweeping through a region that has not seen significant rain since spring.

The region is prone to massive, fast-moving fires that erupt during the dry, powerful Santa Ana winds. The area’s geography and limited evacuation infrastructure can make evacuations a challenge.

Pokémon TV is back!

The Pokémon Company has brought back the Pokémon TV service in the form of a youtube channel! The channel is currently uploading episodes of the first two series (Indigo League, Orange Islands) in multiple languages! (Both audio and subtitles! You can switch to your desired language by clicking the gear icon in the player and selecting it in "audio tracks" and "subtitles")

Give it a watch and reblog to inform fellow Poké-fans! I'm really happy there's an easy way to watch these shows.
