would splatsune inku be an octoling, inkling or a secret third thing

inkling probably. If a character was introduced into the splatoon world that was clearly based on miku I think they'd go with an inkling (bigfin squid to ME) or a secret 3rd thing (japanese spider crab to ME) before an octoling just cause like marketing or something. inklings have been the default for a long time yknow also her classic hair silhouette looks closer to inkling tentacles. that being said in-universe I could see her being some dome octoling's side passion project too.
