Platonic yandere luffy

Tw: yandere, clingy, overprotective, and kinda oblivious behavior.

You two most likely met when him and his crew came to your island to restock on supplies.

You two quickly become friends, especially if you offer him food or if you have an interesting talent. Either way, you are quickly offered a place in his crew. And you can't really say no because he's EXTREMELY persistent and won't take any answer other than yes.

Luffy is a clingy, overprotective, and excitable yandere.

He really wants to be your best friend/sibling.

He won't really take your freedom away because he understands that not being allowed to do anything would drive anyone insane.

However, the downside is that he'll always be with you if you're not on the ship. It makes sense because he has some enemies, and he doesn't want you to get hurt.

He's extremely protective of you. If someone even looks at you funny, he wouldn't hesitate to confront them, which you'll have to interfere to save the poor person.

He'll listen almost everything you have to say. Except that you want to leave the crew.

He doesn't really veiw his actions as bad because in his mind, he's just being a good friend/sibling to you. By keeping you safe and in good company, in his opinion.

If you do attempt to escape, he'll convince himself that you're just messing around and drags you back. Though if you try to escape, he'll catch on and find some way to keep you close without taking your Freedom completely away.

And when he can't be around you, he'll have one of his crew members watch over you. Which will most likely be zoro, and because he's loyal to luffy, he'll make sure you don't leave.

Honestly, luffy is the best platonic yandere to have in one piece. As long as you can deal with the chaos he causes to keep you safe.

It's a good possibility that luffy's crew will either fully play along or fall into their own obsession with the reader
