FRANKLY, LUDOVICA HADN'T INTIALLY believed her brother when he had revealed that lucky was dead. another part of her gone, taken by the universe. would the universe ever be done? would it ever stop taking? the second ludovica learns that griffin will soon have eyes on her brother, ludovica begins barking demands at her driver -- take me to rosa's. go as fast as you can, i'll pay the ticket. she needs to see her, like her life depends on it. she's barely even touched her phone after aspen confirms that rosa is in fact at her place, eyes focused forward -- completely numb. broken in a thousand pieces. when she finally arrives, it doesn't take her long to reach the elevator, rosa's doorman shouting out a confused hey before he processes who she is. not just any flash of brown hair, but ludovica fucking moretti. her knuckles soon press to rosa's familiar door -- aching to see her face. even if she wasn't amongst the names in the paper, ludovica can't help but fear the worst. that she's been taken from this earth too. " jonnie walker, blue label. thank you, darling. " the brunette hums in gratitude, leaning back in her barstool ever so slightly. " i've seen you here, i'm sure of it. many a time.. as is the nature of employment. but, regardless. lucky is my dearest friend. "

"He did fumble quite a bit, huh?" she jested, a smile forming on her features now as she looked over Ludovica. She knew who she was, saw her here often enough in the years of working there, though she was sure this was the most they had spoken to each in a long while. She seemed...busy, so it was interesting to see her here at the bar for as long as she had been. "Coming right up," she slapped her hand on the bar as she turned, grabbing a glass and turning to look at their assortment. "Any specific brand, or house whiskey works for you?" She looked briefly over her shoulder, waiting for the other woman to tell her before she'd pick the right one and continue making the drink.
